With little else concerning the man besides the safety of his mate and the speed at which they traveled, the bike moved in and out of cars while the city flew past the duo in a blur of colors and flashes of light as the sun finally began it’s descent. By the time they reached the outskirts, dusk was fully upon them, but they still had a few more miles to travel until they reached the destination that the male had decided upon. It was strange; the further they got from the city the more restless the male seemed to become where in the past the quiet of the atmosphere and lack of civilization allowed the male to feel free and more at home. Now however, the lack of sound and the fresh smell of blossoming vegetation only served as a reminder of how close they were to their goal and that reminder did little to calm the man and very much to invigorate the beast. Faerie’s arms wrapped tightly around his waist and the heat of her pressing against his back were the only things that kept G’rzeth grounded in his human form. With the change so close to the surface, it was difficult to focus on navigating the rules of the road much less try to decipher what his love was trying to tell him, but luckily the creature beneath the surface was tuned in very specifically to their mate and relished the sound of her voice so when she spoke those seemingly awestruck words into his ear, they were caught and processed rather than being lost to the wind. Smiling a little to himself, he continued on their route, knowing better than to try and respond at this moment because she would probably not hear what was said. All light from the sun faded, leaving only the moon to guide their way as the few scattered houses disappeared and thick forest covered the space vacated. Suddenly, the man slowed his speed to a crawl and turned off onto a dirt road, turning off the headlight as he went so as to not alert anyone to their position although the rumble of the motorcycle gave away their presence. After traveling about a quarter of a mile this way, Zeth slowed them to a stop and parked the two-wheeler, turning back to look at the lady to wait for her to dismount from behind him. Once she had, he too stepped away from the bike and, after putting the keys away into his pockets, took the helmet from her and hung it upon the handlebars. His hand reached for hers and fingers immediately interlocked, a soft, excited smile flashing at her when he paused to kiss her cheek. I am not insane. A place is a place. Places can be replaced. You, however, can not. Turning away from her, he led her through the trees and using his sense of smell brought them to a place where there was an opening in the trees with a small stream running through. It was here that he released her hand, his molecules vibrating with the need to change. Gritting his teeth, he hung onto his human form long enough to step away from his girlfriend far enough to where his larger form’s size would not crush her and then turned to face her. Taking a deep breath, he stripped out of his shirt first and followed with the rest of his clothing, knowing that he would need them for the return trip although the dragon could barely stand the wait any longer. As soon as his boxers were past his feet, the beast roared from within him and triggered the change. Searing hot pain lashed through his body as the morph progressed, the man loosing his ability to dictate the relative time or passing of reality. In the next few seconds that instead felt like hours, the shift finished and the dragon stood before the girl in his full glory. Shaking himself, the creature’s skin moved freely along his topline, the gray scales sticking up from his body form head to tail waving as he did so. Wings unfurled and were stretched outward and upwards, jaw parting and snapping shut as the adjustment into the world was completed. Instantly, clear white-blue eyes fixed upon the female, his head tilting then lowering to her height while wings were brought back into his body and his four powerful shifted back and forth in an impatient sort of way while the dragon attempted to bring his entirety closer to his mate. Cold, white smoke puffed out of his nostrils just as his head reached the level of her own, extending out to brush over Fae’s skin while the beast waited to see what she thought of his truly magnificent form. Of coarse, she would love it; of this he had no doubt for he was most handsome and his arrogance allowed for little doubt to ever enter into the beast’s mind much unlike his rather weak counterpart.

There was no doubt he was in a mad rush, and she figured he was fighting for control right now, as he weaved in and out of traffic, and sped even as they reached the country. She couldn't see too much as the sunlight started to fade, but she could smell simply outdoors. No funky smells the city held. As he finally came to a stop she got off, watching him closely, a small smile on her features as he said she couldn't be replaced... No one ever made her feel the way Zeth did, truly loved and adored. When he had leaned in to kiss her cheek she turned her head ever so slightly so her lips brushed his just before he took her hand and led her to an opening in the forest. Granted, she had a mixture of emotions at that moment, excitement, and a little bit of nervousness. She had no idea how she was going to react, seeing him in full mode dragon... Taking a deep breath she watched as he stripped out of his clothes, unable to help staring at him as he did. He was handsome, beautiful, perfection really... And that was when it all happened so fast.
The transformation didn't seem so pleasant if she had to guess, but before her eyes her lover turned into a beast, huge wings sprouted with scales that were the most amazing grey. She was in awe, unable to believe what was happening here, that this was all real, but she knew by now that just about anything was possible to exist in this world... Vampires, werewolves, shifters... When his eyes settled on her she felt at first a little panicked, as any mortal should be when a huge dragon stared down at them, but it all fell away in moments, recognizing those hues, telling herself it was Zeth, that she was fine, that she was safe. And then she was looking at him in a totally different way.
His dragon form was truly breathtaking, as her eyes fell over every detail she could possibly soak into her memory. As he lowered his head and moved closer she held her hand out, a little unsure at first, but finally letting it just graze the scales on his head. You're breathtaking... She murmured, though she could see in his eyes that the beast already knew this.
Standing next to him she understood now why Zeth was always so cautious when it came to his beast. In seconds he could easily crush her and kill her, his size and power was far more than she could imagine and one wrong step and she was sure he could easily crush her. Still, she felt no fear, he would never hurt her, he was her protector, her lover... She stepped closer to him, leaning against his leg almost. You'll take me flying one day, won't you? she murmured, a smirk on her face for those eyes to see.

After years of getting naked in order to shift into his other’s form, you would think the man would be more comfortable in his birthday suit than in clothes, but as he turned towards his girlfriend and began to strip, the part of his human brain that held onto the thread on control felt embarrassment at his state of undress. He knew it needed to be done and he knew that she would not judge his nude form, but still he felt uncomfortable completely exposed before the woman. Of course, it was his first time to be fully naked in front of a woman, but that shouldn’t matter when that woman was Faerie. The man, however, could not stop how his feelings made him react and even in the frazzled state he was in, he unconsciously hid as much of her body from view as he could and ducked his head, refusing to meet her gaze until the chance had already begun and what was a bare form of a human became light grey and blue and scaly.
The beast looked at their mate and flared his nostrils, bringing in the scent of her emotions as they ranged from slight fear and unease to awe and wonderment. Pleased with both himself and the perfect woman that the worthless human had somehow managed to find within the sea of choice, he let a pleasurable purr resound throughout his larynx and pushed his head closer to the outstretched hand she offered him. The light tough of her skin to his scales was heavenly, but not nearly enough. Needing more contact, he allowed lids to slide over eyes and pressed more so against the open palm, that purr getting louder as he felt her warm touch extend over his face. Alertness was at an all time low for with their mate here, the creature knew he had nothing to fear. She would bring no harm to them and he only wished to please her and find satisfaction from her presence himself. Of course, her words pronouncing his beauty followed quickly after her touch and the male primed himself, lifting his head out of her touch and arching it like the proud animal that he was. Intelligent optics surveyed her as the human woman moved closer rather than further away until she was touching his forearm. Her plea made his heart soar like a strong gust beneath his wings with pride for the young lady they had found. Fighting his other half’s protest, the beast crouched to the ground and with one massive paw gently gathered their mate in his clutches to set her firmly upon his back when the spikes from his neck and back separated. An ancient gaze watched her to see how she would react before he tapped into his telepathic ability and reached out, easily breaching her human mind for she would have no defenses built against him. ”Mate, you must hold tight to my spike. Worry not.” In an attempt that probably ended more gruesome than pleasant, he split his lips to reveal canines in a smile to her before turning his head around and using his powerful legs to propel them into the air.

Fae was able to point out the difference between Zeth's human nature and his dragon's. The beast was far more full of pride, and confidence even. His ego was much greater than Zeth's, and she wasn't sure if she liked one side of him more than the other or not, she found that instead she loved both sides for different reasons. She loved the beast for he was unafraid of a little danger, even if this side could be a little more intimidating, his nares flaring with smoke some. his light eyes watching her like she was a masterpiece, though she didn't quite understand that one... One other thing she noticed about the beast was that he didn't seem to ever want to say no to her. As she asked her question and he moved her to his back she knew far too well that Zeth would normally be panicking and would more than likely tell her no. Perhaps she had been expecting that a little, because now that she was on his back she did feel a little fear, but there was no turning back now. Surely he would make sure she didn't fall... Yet now she had to wonder, was Zeth going to be mad at her? Would he never trust her again to see this side of him?...
It was then she heard him in her head, and it shook her just the slightest, but nonetheless, she did just that, holding tight to one of his scales in front of her. He was rather terrifying in this form, and though his 'smile' didn't really turn out to be all that much of one, she could tell he was trying, I mean after all, it was surely not an easy job for a dragon to look kind and nice... "Nothing too crazy, okay? Not yet at least..." She murmured to him a slight smile on her lips as she braced herself.
She wasn't sure what to expect, her heart racing at this point, excitement and nerves making the wait harder until he finally took off, and she felt the biggest thrill run through her, the air hitting her face, though she was a little afraid to look too far down. Heights could be iffy for Faerie. She leaned down closer to him, her grip still pretty tight on him.

The beast could sense his mate’s anxiety, but thought nothing too much of it. After all, this was her first time flying. Even he had been nervous as a young dragon taking his first flight, but now it felt like eons ago. The years passed much slower for him than they seemed to for his human counter part. The dragon had gained so much more knowledge and understanding from the world around them than the human did that often times he wondered how the man would manage to survive without his genius. Other humans surrounding them on this great earth proved that such was possible, but the dragon found it appalling that their minds could not retain more information. At any rate, the female would feel more comfortable once they were in the air, he was sure. After all, once they were skyward there would be nothing unknown to her about the action of flying and therefore it could no longer strike her with fear. Humans always did find the new and unknown so terrifying, but he wanted to do his best not to scare Faerie. She was such a perfect specimen of a mate; so beautiful, fertile, and caring. Not only for the human, but she openly showed her affection for him as well and the warmth that such emotion filled him with made the creature want to preen with pride and joy. Being careful not to unsettle her from the spot between his neck and back spikes once she had taken a hold, the dragon provided only as much push against the earth as was needed to get them airborne then allowed his powerful wings to take them from there. It wasn’t long before he brought them above the trees and then he picked to head due north so that the night’s breeze would be at their backs. He kept his pace steady and smooth, doing nothing that might jar their mate even though he wanted to fly as fast as his wings could carry them and perform acrobatic feats in order to impress her. These things would have to wait till she had been flying with them enough to be comfortable of course. Every so often, he would crane his neck around to check and make sure she was enjoying herself with his nocturnal gaze. The beast spotted a river near the ground and slowly descended till they flew just above the water, his wings outstretched and gliding on the wind while the silver talons of his hind legs drug a little through the water. He continued to follow the water’s flow for a little while before turning back reluctantly and taking them back to the clearing where they started. He landed then turned his head back to her, muzzle gently rubbing against her side before he pulled away and gently removed her from his back with his tail firmly wrapped around her waist. I am honored to have pleased you little one. Vocals warm with adoration hummed to her, his eyes void of pigment swimming with the same emotion. The next moment, however, the emotion was gone and the dragon’s facial expression turned to a frown as he lifted his head from her eye level. I wish to take you back to our cave, but the human that it is not proper to do so tonight. I do not understand humans. You took him to your cave on the first night you both met, I merely wanted to do the same. Sincerely confused, the beast once more gazed at their mate and dropped his frown upon meeting her gaze. The human says it is time for his form to return. He invokes your comfort as reasoning so I shall yield. I would like to continue speaking to you as I am now even while he is in charge of our form, if it would please you. His large skull dropped to her level once more to nuzzle her before the dragon’s form began to shrink and morph back into a human body.
A few seconds after the shifts completion, Zeth clothed himself from the bottom up, leaving his shoes for last before turning to look at his lover, an expectant look upon his features as he approached where she stood. So, is he what you expected? Were you too terribly scared by the flight? I tried to tell him it was a bad idea, but he chose to ignore me and I could only observe what was happening, he determinedly blocked me from controlling his form. He lifted his hands and began to gently rub her arms, eyes back to their normal blue as they searched her face, waiting for her response to the whole episode.

Fae was human, so of course there was a part of her that was a little terrified before lift off. Once he took off from the ground though the fear started to dissipate, replaced by thrill. Sure, she was a little nervous she might slip off him and fall to her death, but he wasn't doing anything too crazy, she was fine hanging on right now, even as he let his feet dip in the water. She was in awe, a huge smile on her face. Every time he looked back at her she assured him she was fine with a nod, her hand running over his scales. She couldn't really speak all too well in that moment, words couldn't even come to mind while they flew through the night air.
When they finally did land she felt a little upset it was over. Yet at the same time it was enough thrill for her for the night perhaps. Hearing his voice in her head again she couldn't help but smile, she really did love the beast inside him too, for different reasons, and as he mentioned how Zeth wanted to come back into control she had no arguments, even if she knew he might just start tweaking over what had happened. You... You can talk to me as much as you want. She was a little surprised that he could even do such a thing, but she really wanted to, she wanted to live a breathe everything about Zeth, including this other side. Until next time. She murmured with a smirk just before the dragon was no more and her handsome boyfriend was standing there naked, though he was far too fast in getting his clothes on. You do know I was enjoying the view, right? She teased him.
Of course as she figured he was seeming a little concerned, and midway through his words she put her hands on his shoulders and just leaned in to kiss him, hoping that'd cut him off some. It was amazing... She murmured, leaning in close to Zeth. A little intimidating and shocking at first, but he grew on me. Heck, the beast was fearless really, with her even, and he wanted what he wanted, and gave in to what she wanted, while Zeth was all completely about her safety, her comfort... She loved it, no doubts there, but she loved the dangerous side too, she wanted to be fearless like them too. I am a little disappointed though I didn't get to see this cave, but next time.... She started with a grin, teasing a little bit about it, knowing the dragon had said Zeth refused to let him take her there.

Although he heard her teasing comment while he was getting dressed, Zeth chose to ignore his girlfriend and only chuckled a little while shaking his head at her. Accusatory glance was cast her way just before he finished pulling his shirt over his head and then made his way across the clearing to her. Anxiety gnawed at his stomach while he closed the distance, his head producing plenty of scenarios that he knew would in no way happen with Faerie, but all the same he was nervous about how she would react to him now that she had seen and communicated with his dragon half. It seemed as soon as he opened his mouth, all of his thoughts suddenly came tumbling out in rapid form and the man couldn’t keep the worry out of his voice. Thankfully, Fae knew him all too well and effectively shut him up with her kiss. Calming immediately, G’rzeth allowed himself to reveal in the serenity that followed whenever his mate touched him for a minute before she pulled away and soothed his fears further with her words. He wrapped his arms around her in an engulfing embrace without hesitation as she stepped in further to his body, her lyrics slightly muffled against his chest. A smirk pulled at his lips and he leaned away from her, momentarily holding her at arms length while fighting to keep a mock scowl upon his features. I should have known you would bring that up. He grumbled at her although the smile breaking his once tough expression told a different story. Although his beast made the man nervous, he could feel her acceptance of what he was and felt even closer to her now that he had revealed the dragon. Zeth knew he would have to trust her around his other half since apparently the creature was so taken with their mate that he couldn’t keep his loud mouth shut and would offer absolutely anything that he thought would make the female happy. Shaking his head at both the audacity of his beast and the playfulness of his girlfriend, the man took the lady’s hand and began to lead the way back to the bike. That ‘cave’ he spoke of is nearly two-day flight love. And even as gun hoe as you are, it is not a trip either of us are ready for at this point. It would have to be something to plan ahead of time. It didn’t take too long for them to reach the bike and once they did he handed her the helmet she had worn with a smile and watched as she buckled it beneath her chin. He just wanted to impress you with his sapphire collection. Smiling at the girl, Zeth easily teased her before climbing onto the seat of the bike once it was clear she was ready and inserting the key into the ignition. His thoughts turned to getting the damsel home when it suddenly dawned on him that he had been so mind drunk on their trip here that he had completely forgotten about her shift tonight. Instantly feeling guilty and hitting himself mentally for being so stupid, he turned around so that he could look at Faerie, apology in his eyes. You had work tonight didn’t you? Gods, I’m so sorry Fae. I just can’t THINK while in that state. Do you want me to call your job for you and tell them you’re sick or something?

It was always entertaining to Fae how Zeth was still shy around her and weird when naked. How could someone like Zeth that was fearless and strong be so nervous around her just because he was naked? It wasn't like he was bad looking by any means. Hell, Faerie thought he was absolutely flawless. After their kiss he held her a bit at arm's length, ”You know me so well.... “ She said, a smirk on her face as he said he knew she'd bring up his cave. As he went on to explain that it was a 2 day trip flying she realized perhaps it was good that the beast hadn't taken her. 2 days was a bit of a long flight and she wasn't sure if she would have been up for that just yet. Soon though, she didn't see why she couldn't go. ”I don't think he needs to impress me, neither of you do....” She told him, strapping her helmet on, ”I'm already yours...” She got on the bike behind him, her arms moving to snake around him when he suddenly turned around. His words dawned on her, because in all honesty she had forgotten too. Chewing on her lip she pulled her phone out of her pocket, seeing that she was already technically supposed to be at work. She already had a missed call from them. She started dialing, thinking fast. ”No worries, babe, I'll just call Marie and beg her to go in. She lives two minutes away from the shop. I'll just lie and say it's an emergency...” She really did hate calling in, but this had been worth it to her.
She got Marie to go in and seeing as that was all taken care of she murmured in his ear. ”Since I don't have any work we don't have to be in a rush to get home... It is beautiful out here...” Honestly she didn't want to rush home so soon, she was enjoying being out here with him, where you could actually hear nature and not simply traffic. Her hand moved up his back, rubbing it some, waiting for his answer. ”I mean unless you really want to go home...”Still though, Fae was giving him that face, puppy dog eyes practically.

He chuckled and sent her an amused look, one brow arching as he paused beside the bike. Just because you are mine Faerie doesn’t mean I/we are going to stop trying to impress you.Zeth swung his leg over the bike and brought the kick stand up as soon as she sat down on the vehicle. It was when he was busy balancing their weight that he realized she had work that night. As soon as he brought it up, she drew her bottom lip into her mouth in the way that she always did when thinking about something and he was instantly distracted by the urge to kiss her. It had been an emotional night for him and his feelings were running rather rampant at the moment.[/div] Now that she had seen his other half and managed to not freak out on him over it, G’rzeth felt even closer to her as his trust in her grew more than he thought possible. He didn’t want the night to end and would give anything to just get lost in her kisses, but they had a situation to deal with; one that he had caused, unfortunately. He felt really guilty, forgetting that she had work tonight, but Fae seemed to have everything under control as she contracted her co-worker and asked the other girl to cover for her. While waiting, his foot moved the kick stand back into place so that he no longer had to hold the bike with both of them sitting on it upright. The task really didn’t bother him: combined they weren’t all that heavy and he’d been riding a motorcycle since he was a kid, but he didn’t want to exert his muscles more than he needed to especially if Faerie ended up taking more time to contact others who could cover for her. A triumphant smile met her gaze as she got off the phone, accomplishing her task at getting her shift covered, but it soon faded as Zeth was hit with an ‘ut oh’ feeling the moment he saw the mischievous twinkle in his lover’s eyes. He knew his instincts were right to expect trouble when her slender arms wrapped around his waist and she leaned closer to him to whisper suggestive words in his ears. As soon as she’d spoken, Zeth knew he was a goner. He could deny his woman nothing although she seemed to expect some sort of resistance from him because when he turned around to look at her, she was shooting him her best begging look. If you want to stay here longer Fae, then we’ll stay here longer. You know I love being out of doors. Shooting her a winning grin, he managed to hold in his laughter at her unneeded antics and sat still on the bike, waiting patiently for her to climb off before he could follow suit.
