Niravahi::I watched proceedings with a slight frown upon features. Isn’t she a bit….young? I questioned, perhaps speaking more to myself than to my mate who seemed to have little reason to worry at Fao’s antics. Of course, judging by my darling’s words, and Fao’s evident exploits, I could probably take it on good authority that Faolyn was turning out much like Dris had. Just with kinder parents, of course. The rasp of Dris’ ribbon across my features, caused form to lean closer to her touch, sapphire optics still glued to the pups a little way off. At least Zephyr seemed the proper gentleman. But he had better stay that way, I thought, perhaps a little too protectively. It took barely a moment for me to realise that while Fao was definitely at the age of causing all sorts of mayhem with the male youths, neither Zephyr nor Lyulf were matured enough to see her as anything more than a play-mate. In that case, all would be well. A soft chuckle passes across maw as Fao is dismissed easily, the two boys joining into another conversation. Dome cocks with curiosity for a moment as the darkened knight stepped forwards with an innocence that evidently belied his intent, before both he and Lyulf shot off in what was to be a game of tag. And yet Fao hadn’t moved a muscle, save for crashing down into an ungraceful seating position. Not her style whatsoever. Then suddenly, as though Lyulf’s teasing vocals had awoken her from her daze, she shot off after her sibling. Torso is wriggled and flipped to allow bright gems to lock with silver, a slightly confused expression upon guise. What’s wrong with Fao? I ask after a moment, concerned that something was bothering the little lass. Lyulf had seemed fine, so it couldn’t have been something they had eaten…could it? Knives worry away at lower lip for a moment, before I decide that using our newly found peace and quiet would definitely be the best idea. Snout is pressed deep into my companion’s scarf, nares inhaling her familiar scent, before ribbon resumes it meandering path across the fae’s nape and crown, drawing non-sensecal patterns into the midnight cloak. It was amusing really, that two lupes as unsuited for partnership as we, had found our life together. Then again, perhaps that was the exact reason why things worked out. We had little expectation, little fantasies of what would come and go. Instead, we just let life take us along with it, enjoying each moment we spent in each other’s company. And frankly, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
