Baely scratched at th dirt and examined the area surrounding herself and the other brute, gaze traveling over said creature when he began speaking. She contemplated his words carefully, sitting on her haunches hile her tail wagged slowly. "cyraz, what would you say to... can I stay with you?" her tone was quiet and curious, with a small spark of hope. "I would... be very.. delighted. Please?" she whispered, sitting up and walking over to him, bruhing the side of her head against his neck.

The tunes that came from her maw were barely heard and certanly did not register as the male surveyed their surrounding lands, trying to decide in what direction to point the young lass that would bring the most fruitful results. It was the sudden, unexpected contact which brought him out of his calculating state, body jerking away from her caresses in surprise. Brilliant depths glance at her, muscles tense as they gave her a once over. Stuggling to gather both himself and the words for reply, frame straightened to a stiff stand, emotionless contenance focused upon Baely. I am a loner: not quite fit for company. I will go with you until you are settled in a pack, but I wont stay. A pack will provide you with all you need that I cannot. Nodding once to show his lyrics were all he had to say on the subject, chin turned from her, back to surveying their surroundings. Dusk had come to pass already, leaving traveling that night with much diligance out of the question. Till dawn broke, the bloke would have to stick to his original plan of spending the night here with an added camp mate. Looking back at the essa, Cyraz again addressed her. We can start off in the morning. Make camp near the outskirts for tonight. After syllables emitted, limbs lifted from their spot, strides carrying him at a slow pace though the brush, making it easy for the vixen to follow his lead. Coming to a suitable patch of cover, pace slows and the drake turns in a small circle before lowering his body to the earth, tail and neck curled inward towards his midsection.

Baely sighed when he did not respond immediately, and knew his answer would be exactly the one she received. Before she could comment on her actions and thoughts, the brute began to speak again, and she listened only partially, nodding slowly. She blinked when he began to walk off, and she followed at a slow jog, moving easily through the underbrush until Cyraz paused, and she watched him curl up on the ground, sleeping almost like a pup. She licked her muzzle, and plunked down next to him no her haunches, watching blankly. She would have liked to stay with him, despite his being loner, and she sighed, not wanting to press the subject. She stretched out across the dew in the grass and rested her muzzle on her paws, closing her eyes but not sleeping, only resting.

Pale azure depths watch the essa follow in behind him with a single lid open, brow tilting slightly to give him a better view of her figure. Part of him was surprised she remained as quiet as she was, but the male would not complain. Silence was golden in his eyes and he understandably was not one for conversation. He kept watch until she hunkered down for the night was well, assuming the sleeping position although it was questionable whether or not she was actually sleeping. Shades closed completely then, the soothing noises made by creatures of the night his lullaby while mind drifted off into the darkness. Without dreams, the bloke awoke to the song of a jay bird in the early times of the morning, the sun barely peaking over the horizon. Grunting lightly, muscles worked within his hindquarters to push him upwards to a stand, joints popping at the sudden effort. Formation entered a bowing position in an effort to streach out his tendons and muscles, tape rolling out of his trap while jaws parted in a yawn. Straightening, gaze shifts to the still sleeping fea, watching her even breathing to be sure of her unconcious state before strides carry him out of the temporary camp, thoughts focused on finding them some breakfast.

Baely stirred in the bright early morning, birds chirping loudly around her, and she grunted, blinking a few times before opening her eyes completely to look round, having noticed the body heat that belonged to Cyraz was gone. She sat up on her hind legs, pressing a paw to the nearest tree to keep her body balanced, and she scanned the area quickly, frowning slightly before slipping down to the ground and sitting down, planning on waiting for Cyraz to come back. Hopefully he would.

Vaugely, the bloke could still taste the hare from the night before and decided something perhaps more flavorful was in order for the morning. No hint of quail could be found anywhere nearby, but the sweet bubbling of a stream held his attention, padders falling upon their own path as he made his way towards the destination. Fishing for food was perhaps one of the oddest skills he possessed, but where he had grown up, the ability had been essential for his birth pack was raised lake side and in the cold seasons where woodland game was scarace, the hunters would become fishers. It was not uncommon for a first time sampler of the rarity to revolt at the foreign taste, but the knight would bring the damsel a fish anyway and if she dispised the taste, could always go out once more to catch a more conventional meal. Coming upon the running stream, figure haulted on the shore line, one of his legs submerged in the cold water while liquids surveyed the possibilities of a catch. There were plenty of bass that leaped through the air like trapese artists while fighting against the flowof the water as was customary. Making sure his shadow was not cast upon the water's surface, Cyraz readied himself, watching as each silver body jumped into the air just out of his reach, an occurance that would be torture to anyone else. Paitence had always remained a strong vertue in him however and he therefore did not allow himself to become frustrated at the situation. Instead, he bid his time till one did jump close enough for him to catch, mass lurching forward with jaws parted wide. Although he landed heavily in the water and scared off some other prospective catches, triumph light contenance for a successful attempt lay writhling between rows of enamels, tips sunk into the scaley flesh with crimson pouring from the holes made. Stepping out of the current once more, he laid the bass off to the side of him, far enough away that there was no hope for the creature to return to it's natural habitat. Regaining his position on the bank, the drake was forced to wait a little longer than previously as his first exertion had scared the fish towards the other bank. Time passed quickly though and soon they were again flying through the air along the width of the river, allowing the wolf to make another stab with his teeth, securing this one as well. Finishing up, both fish were taken in his mouth at their tails, the most recent still flopping around helplessly while the other hung towards the earth, motionless. Confidently, the duke wound his way back to the temporary camp, finding that Baely had awoken and was waiting on him to return. Stopping, head stooped to drop his quarry upon the sod, allowing her to choose first before taking the other that was left. If you do not like fish I can easy find something else for you to eat.
