She had almost regretted dropping his hands, it had been something so exciting that still her heart was beating in what seemed like her throat and her breathing was maintained through force as it tried to accelerate. She would not allow him the satisfaction of seeing that though since she was still not too sure what she thought of the man, was she nothing more of a prize? Was he drunk? She had not seen him drink much over the night but she did not want to be the one that she was seen as a fool for falling for the mans charms. She would have expected if that were true that he would have tried the moves on her when there were more people around though and not when they were either all passed out or they were gone home. So knowing they were alone was a little ease to her worries that it was all for show since she already knew that she was earning the reputation of unattainable. Which she did not mind since it would mean that there would be less men after her, the one that knew that they did not have a chance in hell had already given up and turned back to the girl that they had been persuing the times before. The stubborn guys like Paul would not give up as easily though even though she had made it perfectly clear when he had tried to kiss her tonight. Partially because he was so drunk that his fears of rejection had subsided and partially because he thought the kiss might change her mind. It had not progressed to that though. Hand fell back to the male side and looked useless and she wanted to just reach out to him and grab them again but she could not summon the courage that would entail so instead she shifted her weight as well shoulder resting on the wall that was beside her as eyes then turned to meet his gaze. The silence was much too long and drawn out and she could not help but feel awkward. As he sat on the couch he looked effortless relaxed as he seemed to have mastered the look before he added to her comment. He told her that guys did not tend to care what they were having to sleep next to, head was shook and brows raised slightly at the ridiculous comment. She found it hard to believe that a guy would want to sleep next to his friend that was caught up in a steamy makeout fest. Which might not happen since Emily would have to be awake for that. He confirmed her thoughts about that when he stated that he doubted anything like that would be happening unless Sam liked to be vomitted on and small light chuckle left her lips and passed into the air. I suppose your right. It suddenly dawned on her that it was possibly the first time she had agreed with the man and it was a strange feeling. The darkness between them made it hard to read his expression so when gaze rested on him she found herself searching for what he might be feeling and feeling a little helpless in the situation. She was able to hear a shift and see that he moved his ankle to rest on his knee. He then hesitantly asked her to come closer to him and if there had been even a tinge of sarcasm or cockiness she promised herself that she would have denied him. But instead since the offer was genuine she shifted closer to him until the arm that had been draped around the back of the couch would rest over her shoulders. Heart rate seemed to increase as blood was pumped vigorously through her body along with the adrenaline that always seemed present when she was around him. So how was she feeling about the guy? She was not sure, she had convinced herself for the past week that he was despicable and that she hated him but how strange was it all of a sudden for her feelings to change, she did not hate being around him and she found herself even getting closer to him when he asked her. She found herself wanted to ask what this meant but she kept silent since she did not want to admit that 'this' was anything at all. She still believed that she would fall asleep and wake up the next morning and all these feelings would be gone and she would not even have to deal with them. With a deep breath she settled back against the couch well within his grips now. Finger trailed along the man's bicep running along his forearm until it came in contact with his hand and she rested her hand there closing her fingers around his.

Sapphire eyes remained locked on the girl's through the dark shadows of the house case by the moon rays that struggled to come through the windows and reflect upon the walls, his sight having adjusted enough to where her silhouette was clearly seen even if the details of her facade was not clearly depicted, an occurrence which was a little irritating. As much as the man hated to admit it, the bloke was nervous about what would come next. It had not even been an entire week since the pair had met and every time they met up within that span of less than seven days, she had been completely adverse to all his attempts at trying to get her to loosen up around him and although some progress had been seen recently in their relations with that kiss, the bloke was still not completely certain that the moment had not been simply a fluke which she did not want to repeat. Much to his relief, after a few tense seconds that seemed to pass in a span of time that felt more like minutes to the boy, the woman finally conceded to his request and moved closer, the warmth of her side settling the nerves within his stomach as arm shifted to settle upon her shoulders, a smile tugging at one side of his lips while he looked down directly at her. Revikr was not sure about how he was feeling at that point in time. Somehow, there was more than just a sense of accomplishment filling up his system, but he was reluctant to try and analyze what was happening either. Was it not his philosophy in life to simply go with the flow? Sure, he liked this vixen a lot, definitely more than any of the others he had dated in previous years and yet, he was not quite ready to admit that to himself just yet or to realize that the one rule he kept in place between himself and his dates was in danger of being broken. Chuckles released at her words, orbs sparkling with amusement while muscles twitched excitedly beneath the skin of his arm when fingertips lightly traced a trail down to his hand. Glancing away to look down at his leg where their intertwined hands rested upon his thigh, the drake tilted his head, thumb running over the bones and joints that stuck out of the thin skin experimentally. Looking back up at Pirzi, figure shifted till chest was facing her, extremity dropping from around her neck so palm could slide into place along her chin, didgets gently tilting her jaw upwards as he leaned in to kiss her. I am always right babe. Confident vocals whispered in a playful reply, enamels showing through lips for a brief moment in a broad smile as his usual personality arose again before it was covered by the intensity of another kiss. Kissers moved slowly, trying to learn more about her with the delayed actions. There was enough to be known about a person by the way they kissed and what she relayed was enough to make the lad's head reel. Keeping it PG-13, the man refused to be the one to advance them into a deeper make out session and eventually pulled away, finding himself a little more satisfied than he had been before hand as teeth captured her lower lip in their gentle grasp and slowly released it, his chin tucking towards chest. Smirking mischievously at her once their liquids met, Rev let her see that he enjoyed paying her back with the same favor she had given to him earlier before leaving to take care of Emily. Thumb caressed her cheek for a moment before grip moved down her back, fingers trailing along her spine and moving in and out of the canyon created by back muscles where they lined her vertebrae, his mask pressing closer to hers. Tonight I care who I sleep next to. Without thinking, the guitarist spoke upon impulse, easily returning to the subject of their earlier conversation before completely understanding what he had just done. Self assurance wavered and some distance was allowed to her, hand growing still upon her back at an appropriate height just beneath her shoulder blades. There was no doubt in his mind that with that comment, Pirzi would quickly dismiss him once again as a hormone driven man who was only after the chase of getting some pleasure from various girls when in all honesty, sex had not even crossed his usually dirty mind when he had let the syllables fly. It was only a matter of time before they were back at square one and the male knew the backtrack would be his fault entirely.

The only way to ensure yourself not to get hurt by someone was to not excert yourself to a point of vulnerability which she had done. She already was starting to regret this, there was too much hanging in the balance for her. She could not allow a silly teenage boy that she knew she would not end up having a serious constructive relationship with get in the way. She had a high possibility of getting a fine arts scholarship for her dancing if she were to work hard in the next year. She could not allow her emotions to take precedence. The male was materialistic and knew nothing about her. She knew he was materialstic with the air of confidence and cockiness that permananetly followed him around and talking about the fancy house that he lived in and the flashy car that he drove to school everyday. This was not her. He would not be healthy for her and that might be the reason that she was starting to become attracted to him, though she had learnt her lesson back in Caen she had been involved with the wrong people and it had turned her life upsidedown and she was not about to allow that to happen to her here. She was given a second chance that a lot of people never even knew existed and one that held all the possibilities for ultimate success. Ayrn had taken a large chance on her and she was not going to allow the older woman to be let down. All these thoughts that were ricocheting around her mind were dangerous and very sobering. She had not been drunk in the first place but clearly hazed by the emotions that had captivated her. The next words were overly confident and spoken to her. Telling her that he was always right and this statement made her inside churn uneasily replacing the feeling that had started to build. It dulled her hypersensitivity and anticipation of the next move of the male making her want to move away from him instead of moving closer though he was given one more chance when his hand moved to cup her cheek and run against the tight skin there. She knew that he had meant for it to be playful though that attitude was not an attractive quality and she was not too sure if he knew this. Even as his lips met hers with the same spark from before she was only half into the action. Her mind reeling about the fact that he knew nothing about her and she was sure that if he knew of her past that he would not want to be at all involved with her. He did move up in the rankings when he knew that it was not right to push her and he broke off the kiss with the same maneouvour that she had performed not even a half an hour ago before she had gone to get Emily from the bathroom. Words were then spoken telling her that tonight he cared who he slept next two and an hour ago her reply might be a little different. She pulled back. Though it was not rude. Excuse me for a moment. She stated. She would make the excuse that she had to go to the washroom and she would hope and pray that Ayrn would pick up the phone when she called her from the concealed room. She stepped past the kitchen to ensure that she would not be within hearing distance and into the washroom by the front entrance. She hated that she was going to be leaving the place when it was a total mess but she promised herself that she could come back the next day to help Emily clean it up since that had been the reason that she had been staying over in the first place. Closing and locking the door behind her she backed against the counter and jumped a little so that she was sitting on the counter typing in the familiar number. After the third ring on the cell phone a groggy voice answered. Hey Pirzi are you alright? The question sounded like a genuine worried mother and she could not help but feel the warm sensation of being cared about flood through her entire body. Yes, I am fine. I am sorry about calling so late. I changed my mind. Theres no where to sleep here could you come and get me? She hoped that Ayrn would agree and she secretely knew that the girl would. Of course, no problem. I like having you home better. I worry even if I know that you are smart and responsible. After a brief good bye and a promise that she was going to be there in 15 minutes she hung up the phone. Palms pressed on the counter top sending her body to the floor as her feet touched lightly. The door opened with a click. Now she needed to sort through what she was going to tell the man. She returned to the couch but sat on the opposite end not so far that it would be immensly awkward though far enough that she did not have to meet the mans eyes in the darkness. So I am really sorry, this got a little carried away. I am not like this. I don't go around kissing guys when they barely know more then my name. I hope you understand. She stated gently. If he wanted to persue her, well that was fine since her feeling for him were mutual but he was going to have to try a little harder to get to know her before he was allowed into her life. He knew nothing of her ambitions, what she had gone through and surely he would not even want to be with her when he learnt of her past. I am getting picked up but I am going to go check on Emily first. I will see you at school. She told him before jogging up the stairs not able to keep herself there any longer then needed. The stairs were hollow and wooden and she was sure that Sam and Emily would be able to hear her approaching when she pushed the door open to find Sam crouched over the bed and Emily sound asleep looking peaceful. Assured that both were under control she then jogged back down the steps to be greeted by the projector headlights of the Cayenne SUV that Ayrn had just bought after their crash. All of which she felt horribly guilty for even though she knew that it was at all her fault since the man had ran the stop sign and it had been her right of way. She still did not like the feeling of crashing her gaurdians car within the first week of living with her. Palm raised in a small wave as she passed where the man had been sitting on the couch before the door was clicked closed behind her and she stepped into the SUV. Engulfed by the heat that was blasting. Ayrn reached out and touched her arm with a smile and nothing more then that before they then drove back to the hotel together. It was starting to look a little more like winter with the roads seeming more slippery and the cold wind that whipped against their backs as they walked into the hotel threatening to snow. Barely a couple words were spoken as they rode the elevator and broke their seperate ways to use their own personal bathrooms to get ready for bed. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and typed in Emily's number. Selecting to send an SMS to the girl. Send me a text when you wake up and I will come help you clean. I went back home. Her mind was still reeling from the mixed feelings between her and the man. The way she felt had been so powerful and all of her better judgement seemed to sucuumb to the feeling as if it was the most important thing in the world and nothing else mattered. Quite frankly all that seemed to scare her since she had never felt that way before. She did not know enough about the guy to judge whether or not she was interested and the spark between them could be nothing but lust so she tried to tell herself that though deep down she was able to feel that it was something a little more. Well if he wanted to get to know her then that was fine and he could make the effort since they had never truly spoken before tonight since all that they did at school was bicker and lunge at eachother throat whenever either of them said something. The small flash of humanity and vulnerability that she swore that she had seen flash in his eyes had been the most attractive feature of his. If this would come out more often and she would be able to get him to allow his guard down when she was around it might actually work out. Though he was not the type that she would be able to picture someone actually being serious about. He was the type that most of the chick flicks revolved around, the handsome and rugged untouchable guy that was a jerk and then all of a sudden was interested in a girl and ended up treating her like crap and realizing what he was missing and trying to get her back and 'changing' for the better. Though there was no changing in reality. A person was who they were until they decided that they wanted to be someone else. Finally the darkness lulled her into a sleep that proved to be plagued by those startling azure optics. There was no use trying to drive him from her thoughts either since he had become a permanent fixture there and many what ifs ran through her head. Waking at the crack of dawn she found that sleep was no longer needed. Cairo had been sleeping in Ayrns room and bounded out into the common room when Pirzi dressed and stepped into the kitchen. Finding a paper on the desk and scrawling in elegant script. I took Cairo for a walk. I wanted to go help Emily clean up. I have my cell phone with me. The dog was more then eager to step towards the door as a leash was clipped on her collar. The basket of muffins was visited as she grabbed a snack for the trip which luckily was not too far. The weather had changed over night and was even colder. She was dressed appropriately though. A thick hoody was wrapped around her body a scarf keeping the cold air from slipping into the space created between her body and the fabric. A pair of boots were placed on her feet keeping her feet warm. The dog trotted easily at her side with no cares as she stepped onto the main road. She was sure that today they would be receiving their first snow fall of the year. A shiver ran along her spine, though she walked quick enough that the walk to the house only took a little over fifteen minutes. She put herself to work leaving Cairo tied to the outside of the porch. She collected pop and beer cans and placed them all in large bags and put them on the front porch and cleaned up the trash though she would leave the rest to the girl and left knowing that she had done her part. On the walk home she took a detour to a small cafe just outside the park. It would be a place that Cairo would be interested in going and once they arrived she tied the dog outside again so that she could step into the small cafe and order her drink. The smell of coffee beans and the warm air shifted out the door watching where the dog sat peacefully she paid for her drink and waited for the person behind the desk to make it for her before returning to outside to sit in the outside seating holding the dogs leash in her lap. The breeze blowing was horribly cold though she could not help but smile as a few scattered flakes started to fall from the clouds.

Even before his slip up with words it seemed as if the time in which the lass was interested in him had quickly dwindled for their kiss this time was less than what it should have been, leaving the man in disappointment as he pulled away. Pirzi appeared perfectly unaffected by him and it instilled anger within him that was directed at her. How could she remain so calm when every little touch of her finger upon his skin or every time she exhaled and the warm carbon spread across his skin the male felt a small thrill that was unlike anything he had ever felt? It was unfair the way their reactions to one another differed and the male found himself resenting that she was less afflicted than himself and that coupled with his expectations of her leaving allowed him to let her go willingly, body remaining frozen to the couch where she left him for a long moment while pools watched her disappear behind the bathroom door again. A sigh was expelled and the bloke's form hunched over, his hand reaching into his pocket to pull out his phone, flinching at the time that read across the top right hand corner in digital numbers. Feeling horrible, he quickly typed in a text to the family driver, who happened to be Maria's husband, asking him politely to come pick him up at such and such address while apologizing for the lateness of the hour and silently promising himself that in the future, the bloke would drive his own vehicle that way he did not have to rely on the few people employed by his parents. They were not his babysitters and had lives of their own on the weekends and the baron therefore felt horrid anytime he had to ask them out on extra affairs, even if they were paid extra. Money could never replace time or sleep: even rich kids know that. After finishing, he pushed the button at the top, locking his iPhone before moving to stand and crossing the living room to look out the window at the moon lit lawn, hardly believing that nearly a few hours ago they had been out there playing a seemingly harmless game of Truth or Dare and now here he was stuck in a predicament with a girl who was not sure of her feelings and of whom he was not sure of his feelings. Time passed by slowly, his usual confident air returning as the distance between himself and the girl continued to expand until he felt foolish for allowing her to ever see any sort of vulnerability. She did not need to know who he was and what he really thought. If she wanted to date him, she could, but all the love crap would be out the window and he would make sure of that before anything ever got started. With the way she was playing this game with him and due to his current apathetic attitude, Revikr was tempted to label her as a tease in front of the entire school and be done with it, but in the back of his mind he quickly dismissed the possibility, knowing that he still wanted her and doing something to harm her pride or her reputation would only make her hate him and cause him further grief in the future. During the space that the lady remained in the bathroom, the drake receiving a reply text and was assured of him being picked up in less than half an hour, a time span which was reasonable although the drake wished he could be gone before she stepped out of the bathroom. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his cigarette package and pushed the one at the edge out, clasping the end between his two fingers as he pulled it out and stuck it into his mouth, exchanging the package for the lighter also in his pocket before heading towards the front door so he could take a smoke on the porch outside. Light flooding the room from the bathroom caused him to pause in his retreat and turn back to face her, critical depths following the awkwardly slow movements, his teeth moving the cig up and down as they moved back and forth. Lifting his hand once she finished, he took the joint out of his mouth and without moving a muscle in his face replied. Yea I get it. You don't want to be the slut that hooked up with some guy at a party. Tunes were bitter, but Rev really did not care. She had royally pissed him off now and more than ever he needed to take a smoke. Waiting politely until she seemed to be satisfied with her unneeded apology, he stepped out the front door and into the open night's air without acknowledging her goodbye; cupping his hand over the bunt end while he lit it before moving to stand off on the corner of the porch opposite from the swing with one hand stuck in pocket while the other remained at the ready, taking the tobacco from his mouth at times when he needed to puff out the smoke. Usually, cigarettes weren't his thing, but right then, he simply needed something to cool off his system and also serve to calm his nerves. Besides, the brand new package had been on his dresser while he was walking out the door so it was also a matter of convenience. After a few minutes of him standing there, a car pulled up in front of the house and he guessed that was the girl's ride. Trying not to act as if he were paying much attention, Rev did manage a half hearted, lazy wave, glancing at the car and studying it for a moment before looking out at the neighboring fence, puffing out more smoke as the lass climbed into her car and was driven away. About the time that he finished the cigarette, his own ride pulled up in front of the house in one of the black Crowne Royals that the security guys always drove, reminding the kid that his driver was a security guard for his second job. Greeting him tiredly as he climbed into the passenger's seat up front, the other mumbled a half away reply before heading back to the house where he dropped Rev off at the gate. Easily, he got inside and moved instantly to his bedroom, striping his clothes before climbing under the covers and crashing, easily falling asleep without any help. Waking up late as usual the next day, the drake ran through the rest of his day quickly, practicing with the band for a few hours before having dinner then going out clubbing where he danced with a few women whose names he did not know and did not care to remember before returning home again to collapse in his bed. No one met up with him the next day to practice because their bassist had a family function he was being forced into and so the guy got some of the others together and they all went to the mall where they hung around doing useless crap and flirted with the random ladies that giggled as they walked past. Sadly, that night was an early one, but at least that meant he was ready for school the next morning. Monday passed by without the man saying anything to her and without her saying anything to him. For the most part, the pair ignored one another's presence, Revikr still angered by the way she had blown him off at the party while also determined to let her do whatever it was she wanted. They had potential and even she could not deny that now, but in his eyes, it was up to her whether something actually became of that spark that ignited when they kissed. During gym and chemistry, the bloke nearly went out of his way to avoid her although that was kind of hard when they were partners in science although, thankfully that day it had just been notes and the professor had the same planned for the next three days. At times where the pair were close to each other when there was no other alternative like the lunch line, everyone who had been at the party and heard about their steamy Truth or Dare kiss seemed to gossip about them, their eyes constantly moving from the man to the woman as if they were on display at the public zoo. It really did not bother him; Revikr was used to it, but he could not speak for the way she handled it. Tuesday rolled around, promising to turn out the exact same way as the day before until he remembered the bet he had made with Emily and instantly the prospects lifted his spirits in anticipation. Today after school when her friend brought her to the park and dropped her off, the lad could have his chance and confront her about the one thing that refused to leave his mind. Needless to say, because he had something to look forward to, Rev was in a better mood, even joking around and teasing girls in gym class as usual although he kept his comments undirected at Pirzi. Once they all headed to the locker rooms to change, he moved up behind Emily and whispered in her ear. "Remember. After school today." Knowing he did not have to explain, he had walked straight on past her and changed into his street clothes before taking care of the rest of his school for that day. At its close, he told the band guys he could not make practice that night and they reschedules for a later date that week, each parting their own separate ways in the parking lot with the guitarist heading straight for the park where he parked his GT and climbed out, exploring the grounds while he waited for the party's hostess to come through on her dare.

The male seemed to be a feature on her mind and captured her thoughts for the majority of the rest of the weekend so when Sunday night came she was glad to have a distraction with the ton of homework that had been piled up over the weekend and she set to work with it. Cairo curled up on her feet beneath the computer desk but even this did not seem to help when her mind wandered back to the party that was so clear in her mind. She was starting to regret the way she had handled things. It took both of them to produce a kiss like they had had after the one in Truth or Dare so he was not entirely at fault. Plus who was to know that they might not escalate to something more then just a party fling. He stated to her that he was interested even if it had been in a round about manner when they were sitting on the swing. She could not deny that she was interested as well. As much as she tried to remember much else of the party other then the man it seemed as though he was in the spotlight for her and nothing much else mattered. She had not given him the time to get to know her so it was more her fault then anything. She had been so horrible at school that there was no way that he would have been able to learn anything. Though she was not too sure if she did want him knowing much about her. She could imagine the rumours flying about if the kids at the rich private school found out she was adopted because her parents abandoned her in France. Or if they were to find out that she spent two years of her teenage life in juvenile detention for stealing cars? This would be horrible. It was something that she was still working to let go and get over and not something that she was ready for anyone but Ayrn to know. She assumed that Ayrn would have told Erixic as well which did not bother her since she knew that he would not tell anyone. She knew that Ayrn had not told her best friend, Damien because when they had gone to dinner the night that she had arrived he had asked her where she was from and what she had been doing over there. Carefully skirting around the subject of why she had been put up for adoption. He was much too polite to actually ask her though and she would not tell him. Finally the books were put away in her backpack and she laid back on her bed willing herself to sleep. When the slumber did come it was restless and weary and she awoke in the morning feeling less than helf refreshed and dreading the coming day since it was impossible for people to not have noticed the spark between her and Rev at the party even if they would have just seen the first kiss just during Truth or Dare. She was sure that Rev would be hated by some of the guys that were working on persuing her and she would be hated by the cheerleaders that wanted so badly for Rev to notice them. They would be the talking scandal of the school since they both were new here. A small groan left her lips as she debated taking a sick day though she knew that would just make it worse and she forced herself up to pull on a pair of clean jeans and a belt before then pulling a dressy black shirt over her upper torso to allow the piece of clothing to settle nicely over her toned body. She knew that right now dressed nicely would be key since she was sure that she would be scrutinized from every aspect. Makeup and hair were neat and tidy as she walked out the door and to the car where Ayrn was waiting for her and climbing in. The casual conversation was a little more silent then usual with the tension though no comments were made on the on edge look of the younger girls mood. So when they pulled over on the curb she turned to Ayrn and muttered a small thank you before stepping out of the car. It was clear from the moment that she entered gym that Rev was going to pretend like she did not exist when he did not even acknowledge her as he walked up to his group of friends. Heart lurched in her chest but she forced herself to ignore it. Emily was not yet there and there seemed to be a little hostility between the two of them so she ignored it and continued on alone. Jogging alone when they were told to do a couple laps and being place on a team that was against both Emily and Rev. She did not mind since she did not want to have to chance talking to either of them. But when she walked into the change room she was sick of getting the cold shoulder and changed in a seperate corner and stepped out just before Emily. So when she reached the other side of the wall and into the hall she felt shoulders push her back up against a wall and spotted Emily crowding her. So you befriend me all week and then you don't even tell me. I have to find out from Sam about you and Rev. That is humiliating I should have been the first to know. Eyes widen slightly but she squirmed from beneath the girls grip. Theres nothing to tell Emily. Nothing really happened. You saw the kiss in Truth or Dare and we kissed once more after that and it was a mistake, something that was not supposed to happen. She stated defensively. And why not Pirzi? He is such a nice guy and you can not tell me that there was nothing going on in that kiss that you guys shared in Truth or Dare. Why kid yourself? Why not just give him a chance? He likes you. The sad part was that she really did want to give him a chance but she did not believe that it was possible for her to allow her gaurd down enough to do that. I don't know. Just leave it. She told Emily a little harshly. The rest of the day passed with her being in a foul mood. When it came to Chemistry her eyes were focused on the board and straight forward without even a sideways glance at the guy that was sitting beside her. When school was out for the day she was still in a raging mood and there was only one thing to take her mind off that. It was cold and ugly outside so she did not venture to the outdoors but instead she changed into a bathing suit and placed a pair of shorts and tshirt over her clothes to ride the elevator down to the bottom floor where the fitness center and the pool lay. Palm raised in a good natured wave in the direction of where Erixic was working before stripping down into her bathing suit. Hands clasp together as body formed an arc breaking the glassy surface of the deep end. Allowing the feeling of the water to wash the worries and frustration away as she resurfaced for a breath before settling into doing laps of the large pool. Eyes were closed and just her other senses were relied on. She was in a trancelike state as she swam back and forth causing her lungs to expand and muscles to ache after a little under an hour. Deciding that was enough before she drowned herself she climbed from the pool grabbing a towel and drying herself the best she could manage before placing her tshirt over top and her shorts again and heading back to the elevator. When she arrived back in the room she noticed that Ayrn was looking a little fidgety. Brow was raised. Ayrn did not even notice that she was in the room. Theres something I need to talk to you about Pirzi. The feeling of impending doom washed over her and she froze right to the spot knowing that it would be something that was not good. She managed to choke out a small set of words wondering what she could have possibly done wrong. Yes? She had a natural guilty conscience from the times that she did get in trouble. Oh no its not like that but I just don't want to make you upset. I know that you are a shape shifter. And with those words she was shocked and her jaw almost dropped. A panicky look overtook her face. How? and please don't send me away this was the best thing that ever happened to me. She pleaded and Ayrn laughed. I have known from day one. I am a shape shifter as well, a different kind, and so is Erixic. And we are the only ones that know because we can simply tell another of our kind. The only reason I brought it up was to make sure that you know you can come to me with any kind of problem that you might have and we will solve it ok? The words were gentle and she felt the panic start to subside so the rest of the evening was spent watching movies on the TV and just enjoying that there was no longer any secrets between the two of them. She fell asleep this time with no problem and woke up feeling ready for the day. The day passed the same as last except at lunch Emily walked up to her. I am sorry about the way I acted yesterday, let me make it up to you? We will go for ice cream after school? Pirzi nodded with a small smile. Sure see you then. So the rest of the afternoon was uneventful and she met Emily at her car. They drove out to the street though they passed by the ice cream shop, she knew that it was kind of strange that she wanted to go for ice cream since it was cold and miserable out and she did not question the girl. When Emily got out at the park that was on the other end of town she followed suit but she did not account for Emily racing back to her car and hopping in the car and locking the doors before pulling out of the parking spot. Eyebrows was raised. What the hell. She muttered under her breath before then taking a step to the park. She did not text the girl since there was something obviously going on and she needed to figure that out before doing much else. So when she looked down at her phone debating sending Ayrn a message she did not account for almost running into someone, it was Rev. Eyes travel up him to meet icey pools and yet she did not seem to be able to form a coherent sentence. She had thought for so many hours of what she would say to him when they finally talked again and yet right now she was at a loss of words.

After walking around for a little while, impatiently waiting on Emily to deliver, the man decided to quit moving and leaned up against a tree, knee jutting out from his body as foot lifted from the ground to rest against the truck. Feeling his nerves begin to rise up again, the bloke curse the woman under his breath and reached into his pocket for the lighter and his cigarette, again deterring away from the usual stuff since it was in the middle of the day and he was anticipating meeting up with Pirzi, thanks to the help of Truth or Dare, the bloke had decided to abstain from smoking anything stronger in order to ease the slight feeling of anxiety. Besides, although he was not ashamed usually of his habit, the man would rather her not know about his smoking weed just yet, if at all. He hated this feeling she left him with every time his mind turned to her, which, as of recently, was often. Revikr had worked for ages to develop his calm, apathetic persona and within a matter of a week the girl had managed to put a kink in that armor. Feeling like a regular chain smoker, the male quickly puffed the joint down within a matter of ten minutes before the phone buzzed in his pocket and he pulled it out to find that Emily had sent him a text. Opening up the message from his inbox, weight shifted forward and he dropped what was left of the cigarette onto the ground, stomping it out with the rubber sole of his tennis shoes while smirking at the confirmation of the drop off. Shutting the device and returning it to his jeans, the drake started towards the nearby parking lot where his car was, weaving through the scattered trees in order to get there. Although he had been expecting the essa to be there, the boy was still surprised when he rounded the corner and nearly ran into her while she apparently decided to try and figure out what was going on. His hands had lifted and body moved out of the way in an instinctive reaction, but once he realized who it was, arms dropped back to his side and a step was taken closer to her, curious if the maiden would move away or hold her ground. Upon seeing her, thoughts moved back to the day before when after gym class as he had been walking towards the hall, he had overheard Emily confronting Pirzi about her and him, the words she had answered with ringing throughout his skull and serving to ignite his anger again. Jerking his gaze away, the lad jerked his head in the direction which the other car had left before looking back at her, facade unyielding to his emotions. Don't be too mad at her. This was a part of her dare from the party, but it might turn out to be another mistake. Sneering, Rev found he was unwilling to hide his irritation from her as he shoved hands into pockets and created space between them, the plan of forcing her to kiss him again going out the window in exchange for something he would have never thought about doing: talk. Even he did not like getting played by any lady and therefore needed to figure out where they stood. No one was going to string him along only to leave him on the side of the road like a beaten dog whenever their goal was achieved. So what is it you want from me babe? Just some fun maybe every once in a while? Too bad you can't use the bullshit excuse that you were drunk and that it wasn't supposed to happen because I know you hardly had alcohol. I would have tasted it more if you did. Confronting her, the drake became the first of the pair to break the code of silence they seemed to have agreed upon earlier that week. It was time they both got some answers so life could continue without the complications that the unknown offered.

It was clear that running into one another had been much of a suprise to both of them. From the moment she laid eyes on him she knew that this had been one of his schemes and it made her appreciate it, where someone might think that she would be pissed off about the fact that her so-called friend had dropped her off at the park and ran she was glad that it was to be in the guys presence. It was clear that they needed to talk since they could not go on in the same way that they had been all week since she knew that there was a project coming up that they would need to get rid of the awkwardness between them. She did not deny that this was mostly her fault since she was the one to complicate things between them, had she done nothing more then just peck him on the cheek during the game things would have never escalated. She had been the one that had attempted a passionate kiss during the game leaving him wondering what it would be like not provoked by a dare. And still the feeling of the kiss that they had shared after brought unknown feelings to the surface and he had every right to be angry with her. He had every right to label her as a tease but he was smarter then that. She was not like all those other girls that were simply out for a good time. She had simply scared herself off. She wanted to be the girl that could simply admit that she wanted to be around him and carry through with that but she did not know if it was possible. So why not try? What was holding her back? Well besides the anger that he probably now felt towards here there was nothing to use as an excuse. He was the kind of edgy guy that a lot of people felt pulled towards and yet he seemed to be the type to be unattainable she should be flattered that he took interest in her but it seemed to just make things complicated. A deep inhale was taken as arms were wrapped around herself, she was not dressed to be outside in this weather but she was much too stubborn to admit that and she had not finished her text to Ayrn before she had ran into him. When he took a step forward to close the distance between the two of them she longed to pretend like nothing had happened but the angry spark in his eyes made it impossible to forget. I am not mad at her, I am glad she did, I wanted to talk to you. She longed to speak with him again perhaps not about the incident but about other things, she wanted to get back to where they had started to be where he opened up to her in a manner she had never seen from him but she knew that she had probably ruined that. A sinking feeling was present in her gut when the next words were tossed her direction, bottom lip was pulled into the clutches of her teeth and held there while she mulled over a response. He turned back into the sarcastic guy that she knew from the first week of school. The one that she had learnt and taught herself to hate, no resemblance was held from the night of the party. She was completely guilt ridden and she met his eyes. It was clear that he had over heard her and Emilys conversation. I did not mean it like that Rev. It was supposed to happen, just not like that, not at a party where everyone will just assume I am like every other girl. They wouldn't understand that you were the only guy it would have ever happened with, the only guy there that could break through the rules that I have set up for myself. I don't want just fun every once in awhile, I know what I want. I want to give this all a try but I am not too good at this stuff but the choice is either we try something properly or we remain as what we are now. I am not stupid I know that you felt exactly what I felt in that kiss and I am not going to deny it, the only reason I said what I did to Emily was to get her to shut up, there were enough rumours as it was without her spreading another. There was no use trying to tell him that she did not feel anything with the kiss because even though he did not know her very well he would be able to call her bluff. She had allowed herself to hit the point of most vulnerability so what he would say next would be anxiously awaited.

Her reaction to seeing him set the man off kilter a bit, easing his anger in exchange for surprise as the situation only continued to amaze him. How could she be so calm; so collected while the bloke was having such issues controlling his rage? Perhaps it was because she had no reason to be mad, but the missing fire in her voice and manner appeared a bit out of character for whom the male had seen her to be. The admission that she had wanted to talk to him also set him off guard, frustrating him to the point where he wished she was not acting so out of sorts and was the usual, ornery woman who pushed him away and turned down his advances. Why did she have to break him down? Rev did not want to feel like he had Saturday; he did not want to be vulnerable around her. That had been a mistake to open himself up and the past few days showed this to him because whether he liked to admit it or not, the lass had managed to hurt him and that did not need to happen again. Trying to remain distant, he forced his face to stay a clean slate, brow lifting a bit as he waited for her to speak, wondering what she could possibly have to say to him. Did she want to ask him to try and ignore what had happened, so she would feel better skirting around him in gym and chemistry? That would be typical and something expected by the man to come from the lady's lips. Even though he thought her different from all the other girls, the gender all had one thing in common: they knew how to handle the guys when it came to avoiding relationship type situations. Hiding the satisfied smirk as he saw the guilt in her eyes, Rev silently reveled in being able to awaken some sort of suffering in her although it was nowhere close to matching the confliction she had instilled in him. What was said surprised him, causing a smug smile to cross features as hands moved out of his pockets to hang at sides while he patiently remained still till her lyrics drew to their final end, allowing him the chance to reply. Without second guessing, he stepped forward and slid his palms onto her hips, holding her close as with their bodies brushing at multiple points of contact. Why do you care what they think or what is being said? Gossip goes on everywhere and people will judge: its human nature especially in this jungle. Would you still want to be with me if there were rumors going around about us? Because that will happen; I can guarantee it so you better make your decision quick. You can break rules with me, or fit in and be what everyone expects you to be. Raising his eyebrow in question, the guitarist allowed his face to hover inches for her, threatening a kiss. Lips ran over dried tissues, the drake's attention shifting downwards till pair was focused upon her kissers, wishing he could feel them against his again, but he kept himself in line for the moment, knowing that they needed to talk still more even if he dreaded having to do so.

She could not stop the words now, while she wished that she could have been a little more brash she had been right to the point and allowed herself to open herself up to a level that she had promised would never happen again. She could not allow herself to get hurt and this man was someone who would be safe for her to involved in. She was not in a rage since she knew that she had been the person that had been wrong. She might be stubborn and fiery but she was not out of control and she was able to tell when she did something wrong and he had done nothing to deserve the kind of treatment she had portrayed. Sure she suspected that he was a player and discarded girls like dirty shirts but she did not know this for sure for most of the people like him it was all an act and she could see that his vulnerability he had shown that night had been genuine. This made her ache and made her wish that she had recognized that sooner and not hurt him. So as she was standing here she was in the same situation she opened up to him and hoped that he would not hurt her like she had him. He seemed to be ridding the anger with ease and turned to her with a slightly suprised expression. Looking as though he could not believe the words that were coming from her mouth. She was glad that she was still able to suprise him. A small half hearted smile crossed her pretty features as lips were raised to high cheek bones. A little more at ease when he spoke. Sure she knew that there would be rumours flying though they already were. He moved closer to her placing his hands on her hips and causing skin to tingle beneath his touch just as it had the night that was still etched in every corner of her mind. Their bodies touched and the heat between them mingled setting her a little more at ease with the small amount of shivers that ran along her spine since it was an unseasonably cold day and slowly the light from the sun was starting to sink along the horizon. Of course I would still want to be with you, let them talk, they are already. I am flattered that we are such a hot topic. Leaning back against his grip and met his eyes with a fiery look in turquiose vision. Palm moved to brush across his cheek lining the jawbone of the mans features. Just promise me, the next jaunt in the park, warn me so I can bring a jacket. She stated with a small chuckle. Without any more hesitation she reached up to allow her lips to meet with his. Lips were firm against his with a determination to allow the male to know how she felt and thriving the feel the way that they had been at the party over the weekend, only now it seemed a little less scandulous since they had spoken about a possible more of a future rather then a one night stand. Eyes closed and she was sent into a bliss like state, breathing was a little less regulated and she pulled back when she heard approaching footsteps. A middle aged woman with a dog were walking their way. She reluctantly broke away from him with a coy smile as lips met his neck in a quick peck. Before dislodging herself from his arms. Now I promised I would be back for dinner. Drive me home? The week before she had turned him down for a ride back home so she hoped that the offer was still on the table as jogging steps carried her to the passengers door of his car wanting to get to the inside before she wound up getting sick. As soon as he unlocked the door she stepped into the car. She hated that she was going to have to tell him where she lived now and would most likely have to explain a little more about herself but she knew that it was only fair if she expected to be involved with him. I live in the Fairway Hotel on main street. She stated gently. Watching his face to see how he would respond. He seemed to know where that was and started out onto the main road and stopped at the front, luckily they were out of sight from the front door so she reached across the middle of the car to place a lingering kiss on his lips. See you at school tomorrow. Before she could think again of staying and engaging in a makeout session she stepped from the car and into the view of the lobby so there was no going back, a broad smile crossing her face as Ayrn spotted her. Have a good time with Emily? She asked and the girl nodded. We met up with a couple friends there. She stated which was not too far from the truth but she did not want Ayrn to worry knowing that her so called best friend had dropped her off to fend for herself in the middle of the local park. Was one of those a boy perhaps? She asked with a small smile. Perhaps. She stated with a smile before sitting down to eat her dinner and get ready for bed. She slept easily and awoke the next morning to the blaring of her alarm clock. She dressed in a new pair of clothes that had been bought from the time that her and Ayrn had gone shopping a pair of jeans lined lower torso as usual with a pair of black flats on her feet a little more formal then the days before. She wore a shirt that tied around her neck lightly one that might be worn to a dinner part and a off white coloured scarf beneath the button up wool jacket with large buttons. After locks were scrunched into a natural looking series of loose curls she headed towards the door. She dressed a little better since she knew that they were having an assembly in their block that was usually gym today. She said her good byes to Ayrn before stepping into the school to place the un needed stuff in her locker eyes searched for anyone familiar knowing Emily would bombard her any moment.

Vision lifted to again include those unique teal hued eyes as instead of remaining distant and leaving as much space between them as he would allow, the girl pressed closer, seeming to embrace the feel of his body against hers and the hands urging such contact. Trying to focus upon what she was saying, the man forced the sensation of her warmth into the far reaches of his mind; half smirk playing across facade at what he heard. Laughing, he moved his head a bit, but froze whenever he turned back and her palm met his chin, the smile on features falling for a half second in consequence. The expression did not fit the half moment that passed with the pair's liquids locked upon one another in an intense stare that seemed to convey all that had not been said. Unlike the boy would have expected he did not feel awkward or scrutinized beneath her heavy gaze and instead wished she would never look away, a sinking feeling clenching his stomach, but he ignored it, unwilling still to admit what was happening to him. Never had he truly felt anything stronger than admiration for anyone outside of his parents and that could not have changed over the span of one week. That was impossible and so the bloke rejected the dread that came as part of him introduced the idea. He was foolish to worry about such a thing happening; Revikr had faith in himself that he would continue to not fall into the clutches of women. Her words were heard, but quickly overshadowed as anticipation laced adrenaline though his veins once he saw the kiss loaming before him, lips rising to meet his a second later. Removing hands from her waist, the drake shrugged his shoulders and the warm leather jacket he had been wearing fell from off his broad back, hands catching it where it slid down his arms before it could touch the ground. Still kissing her, although a little distractedly, he took the collar in his grasp and flipped the jacket over her shoulders, palms running down her arms till touch again found it's favored spot along her hips and the baron could pull her closer, forgetting the chill of the breeze on his bare skin exposed by the thin blue t-shirt he wore beneath the heavy covering now encasing the fea's torso. This time while they kissed, he allowed himself to be a little bolder with tongue brushing over the crevices of her tissues and teeth grazing the soft flesh as she pulled away, even though he would have perhaps prospered by remaining subtle in his endearments. With heavy lids, the male's orbs followed the direction in which hers looked to catch sight of the older lady who, upon seeing them, quickly ducked her head and moved off onto another path leading away. Laughing mostly to himself, attention returned to Pirzi, a smug smirk upon kissers as he leaned closer, a true grin breaking across mask when she pressed a kiss to his neck. Giving you warning means I will have no excuse to keep you warm. Vocals teased, now offering a rebuttal to her request, hold loosening around her the instant the vixen began to back away. With a mocking brow raised slightly the man let out a single laugh, arms crossing in front of his chest as he surveyed her. Oh so you chose to get in my car now when I don't have the Ferrari. Playfully shooting her a joking glare, the lad followed right along behind her on the way to the parking lot, suddenly liking the prospect of being in his warm vehicle again very much. Hitting the unlock button and climbing in, he quickly turned the key in the ignition and set the heater on high while also rolling up the seat warmers which were included in all of the custom leather seats set within the Mustang. Pulling out of the park, he allowed one hand to rest on the wheel while the other naturally moved to grasp hers, fingers wrapping around hand to rest in the valleys created by her knuckles. Tilting his head curiously at her when she told him where she lived, he caught a glimpse of the apprehensive look and realized that the fatal was worried about what he would think about the living situation. That's cool. I bet you don't get bored there. So have your parents just not found a house to buy yet? Knowing he needed to ease her anxiety about the subject, the baron did his best, but continued on the subject, trying to keep the conversation going in a casual manner. Awkward silences just ruined far too much for Rev and in the end made him over anxious. Easily navigating the streets, knowing exactly where the hotel sat because his family had stayed there for two nights while the house was being finished, it did not take him long to pull up at the front doors and instantly he kicked himself for moving so quickly and not drawing out their time together more. Releasing her hand to put the car into park, the man sat back against the seat and turned his dome in her direction, seeing that she had undone her seatbelt and was leaning in closer to him. Reacting out of habit, frame shifted towards hers and hand lifted to apply just enough pressure to her neck and jaw junction that she knew it was there. Reluctantly, he relaxed back into his seat and let arm fall onto the console, a smile meeting her goodbye. Bye chère. Have a good night. Keep the jacket on you; it's still pretty cold. You can give it back to me tomorrow. Adding a little French twist to his words, the teenager put his years in French class to good use before remaining to watch her walk into the hotel. After she disappeared, he allowed himself to pull away and head back home in oddly excited spirits. Upon getting home, he teased Maria with gusto before going upstairs to do the few pages of homework he actually felt like accomplishing and then finishing up the night with dinner, keeping away from his smokes and the alcohol for tonight. The next morning, the male woke more ready for the day than he had ever been for school and took a cold shower in an attempt to calm himself down. It was illogical to be so happy over something that was so little. They were not even technically official since he had not asked her per say, but one could say they were going to do a trial run. Dressing in a button down shirt and jeans, Revikr headed out the door, grabbing his keys and breakfast on the way out. He drove like a maniac all the way to the gated campus and was surprisingly early by most people’s standards, but he knew the woman would have already arrived. Getting out of his car, he scanned the groups scattered around the front of the school by the parking lot for her face, but gained no fruit and so entered in through the side door, waving to some who called out a greeting to him. Moving into the hall where her locker was, the man found her shutting the door and grinned, advancing slowly up on her from behind. Coming to a halt at her back, his hands jumped out to grab her sides, face already pressing up against her head as lips pressed a kiss to her cheek, amusing laughter escaping his lips. Hey. Feeling rather scandalous at breaking the no public display of affection rules set out by the school, Rev let his bad boy exterior drop and raise all at the same time, a confident expression on countenance as he pulled away, moving around to lean up against the lockers with his shoulder, front facing her's now with hands stuck comfortably into pockets.

Heat blasted from the vents in the car though it had not been running long enough for the warmth to make too much of a difference so she was glad for the jacket that had been placed over her shoulders and allowed the larger shell to close over her abdomen and contain the body heat that was radiating off of her. In a motion that felt so natural he reached out to grasp her hand and she propelled her hand over to the arm rest to make it easier for him to grip it and drive. The occasional glance was shot to him with a small genuine smile crossing lips. This was all so new to her and yet she was not hesitant about even one aspect perhaps it was just due to the man himself. She had promised herself that she would give him a full chance which entailed all these little things that she thought that she would not be enjoying as much as she was alright. When the man touched her hand it seemed to assure his feeling for her even though she knew already that he had feelings or else they would not be trying this out. She found herself thinking a lot more like the stereotypical girl and searching and probing for those subtle clues that might indicate that what was between them was mutual. She suspected that that was simply a way to ensure not getting hurt since the biggest fear in a relationship was one of the parties not feeling as strongly as the other and ending up breaking it off. She was still confident though. When he asked her if they were simply living in the hotel because their house was being built she shook her head. No we actually live there, my mom owns half of the hotel so she likes to over see the business first hand. She paused for a moment, she had never called Ayrn her mom before but she was not ready to explain this to Rev as of yet with time perhaps she would feel as though she would be able to open up to him but it was too early to burden him with this. She did not want the rest of the school to know that she had been adopted since there would be more questions that came along with that as to why and that would lead up to telling them that she had been in juvy for two of her teenage years because she had resorted to being pushed around by the kids in school that she never should have gotten involved with and at the time it seemed like a good way to try to get attention from her parents. When they came to a halt she realized that she had not been paying attention the whole ride back to the hotel and she regretted not savouring the last couple moments that they would have together for the evening. His touch was soft on her face and a small contented sigh passed through lips with kissers upturned in a smile. The french words were easily translated since it was her own heritage and their good byes were said. The next morning her thoughts were purely on him. Even though she knew school should be her top priority it was not possible until she spotted him. This came earlier then expected when she turned around from her locker and jumped a little as a pair of arms was wrapped around her waist and instantly relaxed spotting the familiar male, even going so far to lean back into his embrace catching his gaze as the back of her head was rested against his collarbone. She knew that this was against the schools rules though she did not mind that it seemed so easy for him to break plus there was no one around to say much this morning. She had arrived early but for him to be there this early was a little suprise to her. Soon he pulled back and leaned against the locker in front of her after a single syllable was pressed in her direction. The husky vocals wrapping around the word as it was delivered. Good morning. For once during the school her comment towards him was not sarcastic it was amazing the way that she had changed her style from the day before. Now that she had decided to give him a chance she might as well know that she had given it the best try. You are here early. He looked handsome in his button up shirt that seemed to accent the muscled mans physique and accent the pale cerulean of his optics. She had never recognized before that he was very good looking and the smirk that was so trademark of his seemed at home on his lips. The persona fitting him naturally. There was no way to brace for what came next though she could hear the click of the other girls shoes on the floor in a rapid manner. She looked up to Rev with a pleading expression. Oh please, hide me now. She said with a small chuckle was the blonde stopped in front of them seeing them talk civilly and willingly which was something that she never would have imagined. Oh, look at you two, so cute, who knew I was such a good matchmaker. She spoke in the tone of voice a grandmother might use talking to their grandchildren and she could not help but cringe. Well I have got to run, I will catch up to you guys later, I am meeting Sam and I better get to hear about all the details. What details she was wanting to hear about Pirzi would never in her right mind tell her plus there was not a whole lot to tell. Pirzi was a firm believer in not kissing and telling since a relationship should only be between you and the other person involved, even if they were not truly in a relationship, well at least not yet. That was the eventual goal, she assumed. She resisted the urge to loop her arm through his as she got ready to move from her place at her locker and walk to the gym where they would be headed to the assembly in a matter of moments when the bell rang. She walked close enough that every once in awhile their shoulders bumped lightly. So what did you do last night? She bypassed the change room since they were not changing today and stood along the wall where the coach usually took attendance. The casual ramble died down as the bell rang and they were forced into an order since the coach still did not remember their names and wanted to take attendance through the alphabet like he had ordered on the first day so she stood up between a geeky looking kid with an inhaler and one of the cheerleading squad, one of the ones that she recognized from the party, the one that had been hanging off Rev. She was glaring daggers at Pirzi and she tried to ignore it the best as possible. Don't worry you are just this weeks prize, he will get bored of you you are just the new girl and mean nothing to him. He truly likes me, this is not over. Brow raised and she almost was not able to contain the chuckle but when attendance had been taken she stepped back to where he stood in the line and fell into step between him and Emily as they made their way into the gym. Standing for an hour was not her version of fun and she was fidgety and restless by the end of it. As they exitted she grasped Rev's hand for a moment. See you in Chemistry. She told him before stepping off to her next class. It seemed to drone on forever and finally when Chemistry hit they were taking notes again and the teacher watched them like a hawk so not even a syllable passed between the two of them. She sat beside Emily at lunch and was forced to spill the news. So are you guys official? She asked animatedly. Pirzi shrugged. Not really we did not talk about that, we both agreed to give it a chance though so I guess you could call it a trial run. She stated gently. They continued on for a moment before lunch was over and she regretted not sitting with Rev though that was hardly fair for Emily. The last couple classes took forever to go by and when the day was finally over she remembered that she had dance practise today. She would have stopped to tell him this but she ended up almost being late and having to jog down to hall to get changed. She felt too guilty just to not tell him anything so she typed his number into her phone luckily it had been saved from the time that she had been called to find directions to Emily's place and typed in a text. Sorry did not mean to ditch you, I forgot I had dance. Changing into a pair of athletic shorts and tank top before joining the rest of the people in stretches.

Shoulders lifted in a small shrug in reaction to her observation, the male brushing it off as if it were nothing when, in all reality, the male had never been early for anything. Showing up late was his style; had always been his style. It was a habit that simply fit the life in which he led: living on the edge and never wasting time on useless things. Perhaps that was why he had shown up before his usual time even if he not intentionally planned it. The girl represented something he was willing to take the time with; even the spare time which he usually reserved for himself and the random things he chose to do within that span. Before anything could be said, the familiar sound of girl's heels hitting the tile flooring that lined the hallways and classrooms of the school drew his attention away from the woman in front of him, weight shifting backwards as his body leaned back, neck straining to look behind him, catching sight of Emily wearing white washed skinny jeans with a hot pink shirt and matching strappy pumps. With wide sockets, facade whipped back around to look at Pirzi as she begged him to hide her with playful vocals. Unwilling to hide his laughter, chuckles were still escaping as the girl's friend walked up, looking smug as she noticed their standing across from each other and actually conversing civilly like normal people do. Revikr kept quiet while she gave herself the credit for their seemingly magical turn around, his eyes staring over Emily's shoulder at Pirzi the entire time, a secretive smile showing her that he thought nothing of what her friend was saying. See ya Em. He called quietly after her, body moving from his relaxed position to a stand, taking a step closer to the lass that remained while watching the other walk down the hall a few moments later after she excused herself to go find Sam. Once she had disappeared around the corner, gaze dropped back down to the one who really mattered to him. Hands slid onto her hips and, unable to resist, the bloke bent down to kiss her in a lingering peck upon the lips, holding her body against his for a minute while yearning to do so for longer. Stepping back a step, he kept his hand on her side, stroking the space between her hips and ribcage with the back of his fingers, keeping the connection between them open while she filled the silence with her question. Homework and slept. Already you are a bad influence on me. Lips lifted in a halfway grin, hand slipping into hers as they walked towards gym, the students beginning to flood the walkways as the time for first block came along. He was glad for the break from gym, but for once found he was wishing they would actually play a game or something like usual because it meant he would have an excuse to get closer to her. Unfortunately, almost the second they walked through the door, coach called them into order, forcing him to let loose of his hold on her hand and move down the line, shooting her a wink as he went to stand with the H's near the middle while she remained up front with the D's. Thankfully, it did not take a long time for their teacher to run through the list and they were allowed to bunch back up into their groups as they entered into the gymnasium. Navigating through the crowd to her and Emily with Chuck walking along behind him then moving to stand behind her, Rev positioned himself so he was better able to hide his hands on her waist from the few professors scattered around while resting his chin on her shoulder occasionally. Time dragged on while the guest speaker preached to them about safety in and around schools as well as gave them the typical bully speech that every school gave to their students. Eventually it was over however and they all moved like a herd to cattle to the door although the man did not mind it much. Grip squeezed hers and he flashed a smile and nodded, parting to go his separate way into math class. The day drug on until chemistry and unfortunately, that class went by fast with their teacher keeping them busy to where no word could be added edgewise although the lad did manage to keep his knee pressed against hers for the majority of the class. Afterwards, there was still no time to speak and therefore Revikr resigned to waiting impatiently for lunch, but that time also ended up disappointing his hopes as the two girls went to sit at their usual table with Sam and his friends. Keeping quiet for the most part, the guitarist tried to convince himself he was not mad at her and continued on with the day, no longer looking around the halls for her head among the groups of people. Finally, the last bell rang and he moved out to the front of the school, meeting up with the band where they tossed around random talk. He did not even notice that he had gotten a text until the bassist ran out from inside the building to tell them that the stage was clear and the room where the school bands kept their spare instruments was unlocked, a task he had apparently been working on unbeknownst to Rev. Checking his phone before going back into the school, he read the text and sent a quick reply: "I wasn't expecting you to meet up with me." Pressing the lock button at the top, he jogged in through the front door, moving quietly down the halls with his guys as they snuck into the auditorium. Unlike most campuses, their school had a set of guitars and drums that were not in half bad shape so after acquiring their instruments, they got together and did a fun little practice session on stage, even if both himself and the bassist were stuck with acoustic which was what neither of them were usually accustomed to although Rev could pretty much play anything with strings. After goofing off for a bit, they put the things back and parted ways, heading out into the different parking lots which were almost completely empty now with a few cars of those who were involved in after school sports still parked in the lot. Heading towards his car, the boy pulled out his phone to check it, holding it in one hand and his keys in the other.

Every moment he seemed to be touching her and while she thought it might irritate her the thought of knowing she was on his mind seemed to ease her mind. As soon as their roll call was called they moved into a small formation where his hands reached for her waist once more and she did not even flinch even when his chin was laid on her shoulders. A small knowing smile was uttered along her lips in his direction. Eyes were soft with a gentle expression. The assembly was nothing that she had not heard before and nothing that had not been beaten into her head so therefore she found herself zoning out with a small yawn. The rest of the day seemed to drag on since she had no more classes with him except Chemistry and during that class they were kept busy with the amount of notes that they needed to copy down. Finally when the end of the day hit and she was in the gym she did not even notice that he had sent her another text in reply since she did not have her phone with her. A series of stretches were finished before they started immediately on an intricate series of jumps and leaps that they would be using. It was a test to see if some of the new people that had been chosen would stand up to the test and all seemed to be impressed with her and she was even used as an example for exceptional form. Soon enough though they were finished and only a thin line of sweat lined her body and only because of the stifling heat in the gym since they really had not worked all that hard. She intended on either jogging or walking fast home so she did not change and only put a hoody over top to ensure that her upper body muscles would not seize up in the cold. She checked her phone and saw the text not too sure what to think of that. She was not too sure how to respond either. Alright. Was just making sure. She sent it back as she walked out the doors of the changeroom and into the hallway. She stopped at her locker in the hallway and pulled open the door to get the rest of her clothes back out and push them into her backpack with grabbing a couple text books. She knew that there would only be a limited amount of time that she would be able to walk home anymore this winter so she would take advantage of that before the snow started to set in. She was looking down as she walked out into the parking lot and did not even notice that the males car was still there, even if she would have noticed though she would have assumed that he was busy since that seemed to be the jist in his text he had sent. Walking strides were loose and fluid at an easy gait deciding not to jog since she knew that her backpack would end up pounding on her back. The small cafe in which she had grown to love was on her way home so she took a detour down one of the side roads to get there. Steps were slowed as eyes were then turned to the different shops that lined the road, this was the high end of the town so there were fancy jewellry stores and couture clothing lines, things that she never pictured herself in but Ayrn had taken her to a few of those stores when they had gone shopping and Ayrn seemed to have an amazing taste in clothing, yet she felt horrible that the girl had bought her all the stuff since she really did not need it and insisted that she get a job though Ayrn had been adamant that she was not allowed to get a job and that she would just focus on dancing and school and being a regular teenager since there was a lot of her teenage years that she missed out on. The door was caught as another person was walking in. She ordered a mocha and passed a couple pieces of change onto the table before stepping back to wait for her drink. She did not feel like going back to the hotel as of yet so she sat down at one of the tables with the cup of coffee. So far it seemed as though it was working between her and Rev and she appreciated the manner in which he treated her and she promised herself that she would spend more time with him tomorrow since she would no longer feel bad for leaving Emily since the girl had just sat with Sam the entire time.

Lights flashed and the horn beeped as the male hit the unlock button on his remote controlled keypad without looking, his eyes too busy watching the screen as thumb typed in the pass code for his iPhone before sliding the lock. Seeing instantly that he had a missed call, a voice mail message and a text message, the boy frowned a bit and put that out of his mind momentarily to glance up as he approached the driver's side door. Transferring keys from his free hand to the one that held his phone, the lanyard was interwoven between fingers, leaving one extremity free to grasp the handle and open the door. Ducking his head to the side, knees bent slightly and body folded at the hips, the masculine six foot, one inch frame settling easily into the leather seats while pulling the door closed against the metal frame once position was secure. The annoying automatic alert beeping of the car went off when he stuck the keys into the ignition, ignoring his car for a moment to turn attention back to his phone. Closing the boxes about the missed call and voice mail, the male opened Pirzi's text and after reading it initially, re-read it and the entire three part conversation multiple times. He could not help feeling a little resentful that she had not come and sat with him at lunch because it made it appear that she was ashamed or embarrassed that they were together. That much made no sense to him considering half of the school had already noticed and both genders were already overly eager to shot angry glares at the offender for snagging what they wanted. Sighing, he was about to press the center button, allowing the conversation to end there because no reply came to his mind, and return to the home screen when he saw that it had been received not five minutes before. Chin jerked up then, eyes scanning the parking lot through the windshield and side windows, knowing the girl did not have a car of her own, but hoping to instead catch sight of at least one of the other dancers getting into their vehicles or walking that way to see whether or not their class had been released or not. The attempt came to no avail and after dropping gaze back to his phone, the bloke took it back to the home screen where he began to investigate the missed call. Reading 'Maria' on the contact line, he quickly dialed up his voice mail and put the speaker to his ear, listening impatiently to the prompt that always played before hearing the woman's broken English finally. "Alejandro es enfermo. I went home early. You will be ok for dinner? Your mother called; said to remind you about the dinner event for the producing company and that they put one hundred dollar more into your account to buy clothes. I will come and cook breakfast in the morning." With that, the phone message ended abruptly with a short string of quickly uttered Spanish words flying from Maria's lips to whoever was with her during the dead time in which she took the phone from her ear and hung up. Deleting it, the boy frowned at having to find his own way to eat, but quickly decided picking something up after going on the heinous shopping trip would work superbly. He remembered full well that his parents were going to fly him to Los Angeles so he would be there during the congratulation dinner for his father's record label's anniversary. They had been in business for around fifty years, if he remembered correctly, and in honor of that were hosting a black tie event. Revikr had been putting off going to buy a new suit because he hated them and was halfway hoping he would get out of going sometime over the next few weeks just so he did not have to wear a monkey suit even though he was excited to go to LA. Pressing the button at the top of his phone, he locked it and started the engine, putting his phone in the cup holder in front of the arm rest where he could see it if someone called or texted him while he was driving. Pulling out of the school's parking lot, he turned right onto the road and headed towards town, deciding to get the evil over and done with before he forgot and his mother took him to go get fitted once he arrived in California. Shopping with one's mom did not look good nor did it vote well for impressing the ladies there either, which was a goal he might have to adjust now that he and Pirzi were 'trying things out.' Cheating was not his style unless he had something to prove or a real motive behind doing so. Pulling into a parking spot in front of one of the multiple suit stores that lined the street that someone could consider to be the upper class shopping district, the beloved rumble of his engine died down and he got out of the car, drawing eyes from both those who passed by on the sidewalk and those in the store because of his very casual dress. Plastering on one of his usual cocky smirks, he easily met all their interested glances and deterred them, keeping his confident air while locking the doors to his car, dropping the keys and phone into his pocket, and walking into the building. One of the male sales associates who was dressed in a sharp suit, most likely from this store, met him the instant his foot hit the flooring and the glass door slid to a close behind him, asking if he could assist him. Rev told him what he needed and was led to the back of the store where they had an open station. Sinking into one of the couches there, he was offered something to drink, but turned it down while waiting for the man to return with the swatches of what he had to chose. During that time, his thoughts drifted off to dinner and suddenly an idea struck him. Pulling out his phone, he unlocked it and opened the message thread he had with Pirzi. "Are you busy tonight? Do you want to grab some grub with me? Maria left me to fend for myself. I'm on Cash Street, right around the corner from your hotel. I can pick you up." Pressing the send button, the teenager was forced to look up, turning his attention back to the task at hand, as the worker returned with all the choices.

The coffee place seemed to be boring at this time of the day and it was silent with people that had just gotten out of class and were huddled behind their laptops studying. She did not want to sit there in the placid atmosphere any longer. The majority of the people were either her age or a little older and the moment that a whiny young kid walked in with his parents she deemed it time to leave. She stood catching the door as it swung shut. Her mind reeled back to the talk that her and Ayrn had had the night before when Ayrn had stated that she had known from the very beginning that Pirzi was a shape shifter. She hoped that one day she would be intune with her own race enough that she would be able to tell as well. She hated that that slightly older woman knew before she even had the chance to tell her and that it seemed as though it was second nature for her to be able to tell, so did that mean that a lot of the other shifters in the world also knew or was she just a rare one that was a little more accurate and had it been nothing more then a guess? She wondered all of this and she promised herself that she would ask her when she got home. The hotel was just around the corner and she stepped into the front door and past the lobby with a smale wave in the direction of the man behind the counter before pressing the up button of the elevator and patiently standing and waiting for the steel contraption to drop off whatever passenger it had carried up to another floor before sinking the rest of the way back down to the bottom floor to pick her up. She was not alone in the elevator though and stepped back as a couple people from the top floors stepped out into the lobby before she took their place and leaned against the back railing in the elevator. She recieved a text as she did. She pulled the Blackberry out of her back pocket and read the text, it was from Rev. A small smile creased her lips when she read it. It seemed her phone had just gotten reception because another text popped up on the screen though this one was from Ayrn. Asking her about her dinner plans. She responded to this one first assuming that Ayrn was not up in the room as of yet she would have just gotten off work. I was going to go out for dinner with a friend if thats alright with you. She sent the message and she was sure that was meaning the that girl had her own plans and did not want to leave her fending for herself but what she did not realize was that Pirzi realized that she had her own life as well and she would pressure the girl to go out and do other things on her own more often she did not need her around all the time and did not want to be a damper to the girls plans. She then sent another response back to Rev. I would love to, meet me in the lobby in 15 minutes? She quickly hopped into the shower barely enough time to shampoo and condition her hair before she was out and blowdrying the chestnut locks. They dried straight as she knew a lot of girls wished their hair did. Leaving it like that cascading over her shoulders she applied a thin layer of mascara and eyeliner before changing into different clothes. It was far too cold for a skirt so she dressed in a pair of well fitted jeans and a wide black belt. A low cut turquoise shirt was worn beneath a dressy button up grey wool jacket. Prepared for the weather she then set out again after adding her new favourite perfume from Ayrn's bathroom, "Hot" by Ralph Lauren. She waited for the elevator again after locking the door behind her. She recieved another text. From Ayrn. Have fun, call me if you need anything I am out with Erixic. She smiled a little, the two seemed to be spending a lot more time together meaning that they must be working things out between the two of them and it was nice to see Ayrn happy again. He did not seem like a horrible guy that she had been so convinced of when she first met Ayrn, she had always wondered why the hell he would dump the girl when they seemed so perfect for one another. When they were on the third floor a group of young men joined her in the elevator and their eyes travelled a little too far on her body and she shifted nervously though she restrained her temper. The ride was short to the lobby and they got out before her. Her mind was then peeled off of that and onto the task at hand when she moved to sit in one of the comfortable couches of the lobby. The guy behind the counter turned to her. Going out Miss Duval? He asked politely for the sake of small talk and she nodded. Yes. She was still a little shy around the staff. She then noticed the man and walked to the door to meet him. Have fun. He told her and she raised her hand in a small polite wave.
