It felt as though he was corralling a group of 10 year olds not a man and woman who were both nearly 23. This was getting a little ridiculous. It was obvious to see that they both were very much in love with eachother since the moment he had set Ayrn up with one of his closest friends Donatello she had gone out on one date with him and apparently had a blast and then managed to call it quits by the next morning of course he had to try to explain to the guy that it was not his fault and that it was just too soon for her. Then he had to deal with Erixic waltzing into the hotel every morning looking as though he was ready to kill someone and always managing to catch a fleeting glimpse of his best friend when she walked by which right now was quite often since she had sold her house and moved into the hotel to help him out. It was nice having her so close and it gave him an excuse to check up on her. What had really suprised him was the rash decision she had to adopt Pirzi, the troubled teen really seemed to bond to her though and so far it seemed to really be working out. Ayrn had pleaded and begged with the local private school to allow the girl into the school and they had been hesitant since the teenagers younger years were spent in juvy though when she offered up the hotel banquet room for the social events of the school free of charge they seemed to jump on the offer. He had taken an instant liking to the younger girl she seemed to be polite and a little reserved she seemed that she would have just gotten mixed up in the wrong crowd and she came from a family where she had tried her best to try to catch their attention with in the end had been the reason she had been put in juvy, grand theft auto. Summer had been the busiest season that he had had at the hotel and it turned out that he had been understaffed so he ended up spending a lot of time manning the desk at the front himself. He would make sure that he would hire more summer staff next year he had just been caught off gaurd. It helped with the feelings of loneliness that washed over him every night. There was a void that only a single person would be able to fill. He tried his best to keep his mind off the blonde beauty that had been gone now for much too long. She had told him that it had been a court case that she needed to tend to, he understood of course since she was as dedicated to her work as he was to the hotel. That did not change that he missed her though and when everyone asked where she was it just brought it back and he cringed with the feeling that washed over him. Though tonight he was on the edge of his seat knowing that she would be returning. He had been in a fabulous mood all day and even Mario had commented on it and guessed that it would be the day that Laina would be returning though he had to wait all day to go meet her at the airport. Of course he had told him and not been able to keep it to himself. So when the time rolled around on the clock he slipped into his shoes at the door of his apartment and stepped into the hallway pausing to slip the silver key into the lock and turn it to lock it. Hearing the satisfying click he pushed it into the same pocket as his car keys. The elevator seemed to take forever to reach the parkade but at least he did not have to wait for anyone to get on and it was a direct trip because he might have lost it if someone had joined him. The maroon Charger lay beside Ayrn's new SUV and in the distance Erixic's truck. He did a double take as he spotted the Harley Davidson F150 that had been absent since the two of them broke up, that was strange, he had replaced the truck with a Tacoma so he had assumed that Erix had traded the truck but here it was again, he was not too sure what to think of that or perhaps he was overthinking it and maybe the other truck had just broken down and he needed to take this one. He knew that this one had memories attached to it since it had been a present from Ayrn. He had never managed to catch the entire story between the two of them of what had truly happened but he knew that it must have been something large since the two of them had seemed to be so in love and so convinced that they were in it for the long run, and breaking off an engagement was a little different then just dumping a girlfriend. He did not even falter in his strides to his car though and backed out of the parkade and onto the street turning in the direction of the airport. Driving a little faster then he would have normally. His car was flashy enough that it was highly likely he would be singled out by the local police though right now he did care. Managing to find a parking spot at the entrance of the building was rare since it seemed as though other cars were always there circling like sharks to take the optimal spots the moment that one became available, though today that seemed to be the kind of luck that he was having. He stepped through the large metal detectors that were now stationed at the doors and then searched the large screen to find where the flight would be coming to. It was on the opposite end of the building and a small sigh was emitted as fluid steps were taken in that direction.

Sigh cooed through her throat way as she sat upon the blue meshed seating arrangement. She was flying first class home and it seemed as if though all the entrapaneaurs inside the entraped sky bird where so intuned to their cocktails that they woudl turn into some bottle of vodka before the flight was over. Visionaries rolled as she flicked her gaze to the watch about her wrist and began to tap her nails upon the arm rest and simply stared into the evening dusk filtering along the cloud line. She was in apt to press the flight to hurry up she was long due to return home and see her beloved canine and not the least Damien. She had missed them both so much and the court case had lingered on for way to long. Her job was her life most of the time it consumed her hourly until she was finally off the clock for the day and yet she found it almost to much for her at times to the point she wished to quit. The stars began to twinkle in her sight as she shifted inside the seat and picked upon the long string that wipped from the seat once more. The inflight speaker began to play as it was now near time to land, it made her heart leap wiht excitement each time but more so now as she knew he would be waiting for her there in the terminal. Listening in an almost silent manner the blaring announcements of gates and numbers went inside one ear and out the other as she only memorized her own as she felt the decent begin. Her shoulders began to quiver on her body as she stood and walked into the tunnel leading forth, baggage claim seemed to take forever as she nabbed the duffel bag and tossed it over her shoulder, walking once more she could see the shadowed figure in the distance; it was him. Her lips curled into a smile as she felt him embrace her slolwy. Her arms lapped about him easily as she kissed his cheek Ah, I missed you to she uttered as she felt the baggage taken from her. Following him she wrapped her arm through his empty one leaving her fingers to entertwine into his own.

He personally hated flights and being trapped in the large steel contraption for hours on end when you were several thousand feet above the earth and moving an impossible speeds, just the thought of it made him a little naesous and he could not imagine all the things that could go wrong and plummet you to the earth. At least he knew if you made contact at those speeds that you most likely would be incinerated before you even started to feel pain. Eyes were closed as the horrors start to unravel the joyous thoughts that had been so close to the surface. He needed to think of happier things since he should be celebrating that this plane had landed and all the passengers were unscathed. When he saw her it was a feeling that he was barely even able to describe. The longing and the amount that he had missed her tore through him though was soon replaced by elation at the single fact that she was here and standing right before him mirroring his action and wrapping her own arms around him and kissing him on the cheek, it was as if they had never been apart with the easy and carefree manner in which they were around eachother. Swallowing the lump of emotions that had filled in his throat he turned to her. So how was the trip? He asked casually after he had picked up the bags and started walking in the direction of the parking lot where he had parked the car. He was not able to throw his arm over her shoulder with the bags that he was carrying so he settled with just walking beside her close enough to almost touch shoulders. A grin plastered on the handsome features of the man. I am glad to have you back. Its been chaos. He stated with a small sigh after she had told him what her trip was like. Reaching the car the trunk was popped and he placed the bags there before then getting into the drivers seat and leaning back against the leather the lined the interior. He then turned to look at her before starting the car. The hotel seems to be a magnet for drama and before you find out frome someone else Ayrn and Erixic broke up and Ayrn adopted a teenager and decided to go through police school, see what happens when you leave, everything falls apart, so I don't think you should be allowed to leave anymore. He stated with a small chuckle. Reaching over to take her hand and entwine their fingers. I am guessing you really want to see Chaos right now? Deep vocals ask though it really was not a question that needed an answer.

It seemed as if the walk from the airport to the car was taking ages as they bumped shoulders now and them sending the butterflies through ehr body. She couldnt help but glance to him now and then as if she had never been with him and it was the first time they had ever laid eyes upon each other. Her breath caught inside her throat as she smiled and nodded toward him slolwy the trip went okey won the case after it took forever to get things going to many receases and next day deals for my liking of course! she sighed as she took a deep breth of the not so smoged up air. The stars shown more brightly now as the sun had all but vanished over the horizion and the moon took its place. Her form slid into the seat as its comfort sorrounded her and took place of the uncomfortable airplane seat. Looking upon him she shook her skull and was in shock at the way things had fallen apart since she had left. She was left almost speechless as she listened to him before she tried to speak, wow, I can't believe this! her hand was over her mouth lightly as she gasped, the thought of Ayrn and he breaking apart was almost impossible to fathum. Her lips curled upward slightly at the mention of Chaos before she spoke once more, wel you know having you both would be fantasitc in my opnion she giggled as she laced her hand into his own placing her other ontop of his now. The drive didnt seem to take very long out of the airport as she leaned back and relaxed taking thought into her own hands as she reeled over the things that coudl have happened wiht the two lovebirds that caused the to split apart while she had been gone. You know...I don't think I should be gone again either she smirked lightly; It wasnt very fun to miss you and try to concentrate on a case at the same time

It had seemed almost impossible for him to believe as well when he had first saw Ayrn after all of it had happened and since he did not know the real reason he still did not understand. The tension between the two of them was horrible though and he had a hard time even being around them. They always seemed to bump into one another as well so whether that was planned or not he never had the heart to ask. Perhaps it was Ayrn who had wanted to get back together with him and tried her best to make sure that he knew what he was missing out on. He knew that he should hate the male for the pain that he caused Ayrn but he never was able to. He knew Erixic well enough that he did this not to cause the girl any kind of discomfort but he did it for a bigger reason, most likely for what he thought to be the greater good and he would not try to lecture him into getting back with the girl since it would not work out if it was forced. Perhaps they both just needed time to get over whatever incident had torn them apart before they were able to continue on with the forward momentum that always seemed to cause them to spin out of control, though that was just the pace of their relationship and it was a force to be reckoned with. As soon as the door to the car was closed she had his full attention until he guessed that she would want to get going and get back to her house and he was just prolonging the journey. He started the car and the reliable engine roared to life. Backing from the spot he then turned onto the highway in the direction of her house. She seemed to be as amazed as he had been when he found out about the two and looked as though her jaw was about to drop he nodded. Thats what I looked like when I found out too. He stated gently. He was glad that the topic did not remain on the other two for much longer as her face seemed to light up at the mention of the dog who would be overjoyed to see her. A small smile plastered on face as he thought of the large animal that he missed. He had been able to play with Cairo, Ayrns dog a little but it was not quite the same. Welll... I suppose I could grant those wishes. I might be able to work it into the schedule. He teased in a joking tone. Good because being without you is torture. He told her, still his tone was light though the words that were spoken held a small amount of seriousness. The drive was quite short and he pulled into the driveway immediately moving to the back of the car when it stopped to grab the bags that he had carried through the airport. They were not too heavy so he moved easily to the door and entered once she had unlocked the place, waiting for Chaos to notice that there were people in the house. He set the bags down on the floor and then took his shoes off before stepping into her house.

Breath shifted inside her sternum as she watched teh familiar yet distant sceneary drift by her vision. Smile was upon her face while her drive was slolwy comming into view. She had thought on the drive about what could have happeend between teh what seemed to be happy couple Ayrn and Erixic. Her lips pursed as it seemed they would last forever how happy they had been and the engagement they had recently entered upon so suddenly all of it was to be shattered and gone. It reminded her of the day she rejected him and left the ring he had offered her to sit upon the dresser and rot while she decyphered her own feelings and gallivanted her life away until she became a prospect in adulthood. Sigh pressed through her as she looked toward Damien, she knew she could never do such a thing to him as she spoke slolwy I'm so glad to be home again... she broke the seal on the door and stepped onto the cool paved surface before streatching upward to relieve her aching muscular system. She could hear a faint barking inside the house as the key clicked over in the locking hasp and slolwy turned. The knob to the door let it part and as she flicked on the light and stepped inside she took a deep breath and found it to be the same home she had left weeks earlier. From upstairs she could hear the rapid padding of her canine counterpart as he clad the bedroom then the stairs before basically leaping upon her and nearly knocking her over. Chaos! she boasted running her hands over his large skull and scratching about quickly. I missed you boy she spoke in a loving manner to the canine while rubbing his coat slolwy before he dropped down to inspect her company while wagging all the while. Here let me get those from you... she pulled the bags from his hands and simply sat them by the stairwell and left them there closing the front door behind them and looking around. It was good to be home and she knew she didnt want to leave it any time soon again. She found herself to be walking toward Damine slolwy wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her skull upon his own. you know nothing of torture a teasing tone wisked from her lips as she placed a palm upon his cheek. Being without you in that city was torture, not hearing your voice even... she smiled slightly not even able to kiss you once her brow quirked lightly as she let a devious little sparkle light up her gaze.

She did not seem to have been gone long enough for too much to change in the terrain though he knew that there were a couple new buildings that had started to sprout up where it previously had been wild looking and foresty. Soon there would be no forest left with the exception of the park that was not allowed to be developed. Luckily it was not too long of a drive out into the wooded area that there were a lot of farms and a lot of the times that he went on runs he would drive out to an old abandoned gravel road and he would jog a large loop there. It was a nice change from the cement that he was used to staring at all day since even though they added stunning floral displays it was never the same and the flowers had even started to look out of place to him in the center of the large two laned roads. The hotel was a safe haven for him and there was always so much bustle going on there that he did not have much time to even think about what was happening yet he still found himself missing the girl with a small dull ache in his chest and it was the worst when he laid staring at the ceiling at nights where he should have been asleep, those nights were even worse then having to go to the hotel events alone since there was lots of socializing to dull his mind into a robotic state but at night there was nothing to take his mind off the golden beauty. A deep sigh exitted his chest and relaxed tense shoulder blades against the leather of the seats. The car was parked at the curb of her house where it would not be in the way of the other drivers and not in the way of the other houses and he stepped from the car. Not able to make it to her door in time he allowed her to open the door with a small hesitance even though he knew that she was determined that he did not need to do things like that for her it still felt right in the polite mans way of thinking. Strides were long and fluid along the driveway. The large dog had already seen their return and was barking by the time they reached the door and the thundering of large paws could he heard once they opened the door and the moment that Laina stepped inside the door and flicked the light on she was bombarded by the large animal in a kind manner as the dog wiggled and looked too happy to be true. A small chuckle rattled rib cage as he reached down to pet the animal too finding that Chaos had been so excited about her return that he had not even noticed that Damien had been with her. When he did so Damien then reached down to pat the dog and crouch down to more of his level. A small smile upturning kissers. She told him that she was going to take the bags from him and before he was able to protest and tell her that he would do it she took them and placed them by the stairwell before then walking to the door and closing it. Her next destination seemed to be to him and brows raise slightly though not enough to be questioned as arms wrapped around him. Savouring the feeling of the girl being so close to him. A deep inhale was taken. To busy his mind during the time that she had been away a lot of time had been spent in the newly built fitness center of the hotel that he had hired Erixic to run. The muscles that lined her chest and abdomen were harder when she had left even though it had not been all that long. Forehead was allowed to drop to her height and was rested on hers. A small smile never leaving features. Eyes allowed to meet the girls. She told him that he knew nothing of torture and he remained silent even when her palm landed on his cheek and caused butterflies to romp within his stomach. The feeling before her was so foreign and yet the smallest bit of contact from her prodded it so easily. She told him that it was torture being without him in the city and elaborated on it. Some people had told him that absence made the feeling stronger though he was convinced that it was nothing but horrible and if it could be avoided that it should be under all cases. The devious smile caused shoulders to go a little rigid as gaze met hers. Arms puller her near to him until her body was pressed against his and he was able to feel her heart beat. Fingers ran along her spine trailing the sensitive area there while other hand toyed with the silken locks that hung around her shoulders. Without another word lips were pressed to hers, a little more passionate then he intended when they met with some pressure though the time apart caused the actions to feel as though they were pent up and held beneath the surface. Breathing was slightly accelerated by the time he pulled back to meet her gaze.

Finding it hard to even believe she was in this situation in the first place she felt her heart flutter. His hand trailed her spine and the other was inside her tangled plane scathed locks. Skull was still on his own before his lips met her's and the kiss began. She felt the spark utter inside her torso as she could not deny she had missed every inch of Damien so much she never wanted to be away from him again in her life. Had she ever felt this way about Erixic, well it was hard to say what had been lust and what had been love. Her past was no innocent little quey it was rather complex and she hated to speak of it and now that he and Aryn had broken their engagement off she coudln't help but wonder where they both where going to end up. As the kiss broke off she found herself staring upward into those eyes he held so easily as dashing, his abdomin felt stiffer than previous hinting at something that had kept him occupied while she had been away; the gym must have finally been opened in the hotel. Taking a deep breath in and pressing the stale carbon from her system she slowed her breathing effortlessly before a coy smile spread across her lips. she coudlnt deny the feelings that coursed through her veins at the moment as she placed another kiss to his lips not so passionate but yet it was nothing simplistic to it. Something inside of her urged her never to release him from her grasp and yet she knew she would have to. Unsure what to say and or even do at this moment she let her arms slack aroun dhis neck slolwy, draping so her palms where laying on his shoulders lightly.

The feeling of just being close to her made his heart race and feel as though it was going to jump from his ribcage at any moment and into his throat where it would rest until he finally gained the control of his emotional state. He could not believe how much he had missed her and it seemed impossible. Before her he had promised himself that he would never allow himself to get this attached to someone that it was not a good sign when he needed the person in his life since he would have too much with the hotel hanging in the balance. He could not allow the business to slip, but ever since Ayrn started to play a larger role in the hotel he started to have a little more time for himself since before he had been convinced that he needed to do all the things himself and that if he wanted it done the right way then he needed to do it himself plus he did not want the staff to have too many responsibilities. Her head remained against his until the moment that she was captivated by the kiss and her entire body seemed to respond as did his. Once they broke apart eyes were directed to hers. The feeling fluttered in his stomach. She did not seem to get enough of her fix since soon after lips were pressed against his again and then she made a little space between them placing her palms on his shoulders. Should we take Chaos for a walk? He asked quietly. Knowing the dog was probably feeling pretty sorry for himself since she had been away for so long. He spotted a leash in the kitchen and already was walking in that direction, the dog seemed to know what was going on and bounded after him and he bent down with a smile and hooked the leash to the animals collar and handed it to Laina. He then stepped closer to the door that had just been closed and opened it again walking out onto the porch and reaching for the girls hand. She was probably tired though so he did not intend on going too far. Just around the block perhaps would make Chaos happy. Stepping out onto the street eyes fell on his car for a moment before turning back to her. The street seemed to be abandoned for the night since all the people would be inside eating dinner and the rest would be out after to walk their dogs and such, he was starting to get hungry himself but he did not mention that as of yet he would wait for the girl to say something.

She had never been in a situation as this before and had no idea what to do. Yes, her and Erixic had been in love but what type of love was it really. They have always said lust is so closely related to love that it's nye near untraceable as to which is which and well its untelling what they really had back then. Breath shuddered from her pit as she found it hard to speak for a moment, unsure what to say or do so she remained quiet in thought there before him. He broke the silance of them speaking of the canine who lay at their feet stumped tail still wagging his entire body to and fro as it did so. Hum that may be a good thing to do for him so he don't feel so left out tonight smile crossed her features as she watched him cross the room toward the kitchen and nab the leash from the counter top before snapping it to chaos's collar. Parting from the house she took in a deep breath and realized how much she had truely missed being ho for the month she had been away. At that moment she also had realized how she seen herself here with Damien in the future as well. Oddly enough it was something she was beginning to grow acoustomed to thinking about now days. He was a part of her daily process now somethign she didnt want to be without in the near future and it scared her that she needed that in her life yet thrilled her that she wanted it to be there. Feeling the chilled breeze whip through the tussled blonde locks sending them scattering to and fro she simply sighed to herself and took the stride of the other two watching the empty streets before them.

His knee was sore with the large bruise that Ayrn had left the day before. Since he had caught her when she came back from dinner with Erixic and called her out on it he had made a comment to her about going to talk to him and she had jokingly hit him, he then retaliated with throwing her over his shoulder with her kicking and screaming he had various bruises before he managed to shove her through the door and into the pool with all her clothes on. He was sure that he had started world war three with the girl though somehow he did not mind. It was nice to have his best friend back to the way that she had been when she had been with the man and if both of them were happy then it did not matter what he thought of it. Pirzi and Ayrn seemed to be getting along famously though so he secretly hoped that Ayrn being back with Erixic would not change that at all by bringing someone new into the equation he knew that Ayrn would be careful though. Tonight was the night that they were at the banquet for her acceptance into the police force but he knew that she did not mind him not being there since he had wanted to see Laina when she had gotten back from the airport. He turned his attention back to the girl with a small smile as the leash was handed to her and she started to latch the dog at the end of it before heading out the door and into the street. Right now it was quiet and the time that all the streetlights were starting to turn on since it was now too dark without them. All the headlights of the cars were also starting to turn on as well. Walking beside the girl he reached down to grasp her hand though he stayed silent with the thoughts that were whirling through his mind. He did not even pay attention to the direction in which they were headed since it really did not matter to him. Relaxed sigh left kissers as he then turned back to her. Though he really did not have anything that came to mind when he thought of something to say. Long strides were taken as muscles were stretched as well as the joints that held limbs together. When he spotted a small coffee shop pace quickened and he reached the door. Do you want anything? He asked waiting for her response he then stepped into the shop and walked to the front to order. Eyes landed on a strange individual, one that he was sure that was someone that he should remember. The guy caught his eye and quickly looked back down to his coffee with a strange feeling of queasiness he ordered the drinks before taking them back to the outside where she waited with Chaos.

The subtle breeze that swayed through the environment that evening was a fresh break fromt he smog that the city had filled her lungs with. Something about this was all to good to be going on as the slight tug upon the leash sent her back into reality. Her hand felt a sudden warm sensation about it before fingers gripped around that of Damiens. The silance was a bit much but she really couldnt think of anything to say at the time. It was just nice to walk and know that he was with her and she was not alone. Curosity filled the skull upon her shoulders as she gave heed to the sudden speed up in walking. Her vox bubbled outward about something before she finished mumbling and decided upon what she wanted from the coffee shop, "lattee if you don't mind" smile graced her lips briefly as she found the bench and waited. Her palm began to stroke the skull of the canine while his large head found it's way right into her lap to lay. "ah how i missed all of this Chaos" It was true she had missed everything about this place, glancing inside the window the biggest part of her wanting to get back was ordering coffee for them. It would at least warm the inside of her bones a bit since the breeze could get chilly after the street lamps dimmed the way. Standing up as she saw him walk from the shop he had a look of curosity on his features before she let her skull cock to the side and vocals cast toward him "everything ok?" her palm reach outward for the lattee as she took a sip of the steaming cup. The scent of wavering mild and medium beans filled her nasels slolwy with the steam basking from the cup's brim. Chaos simply tilting his large mind back and forth about why they where just standing began to walk forward again tugging lightly upon the leash. "ok ok...someone is ready to go." smile wrapped her lips as arm laced through his and fingers found his palm to hold his hand once more. It was clear fall was setting in now with the freak storm they had a while back and now the chilled weather, it was comming on strongly. Leaves where beginning to fall from the trees giving Chaos something to pounce at when they blew past his snout, the vivid colorations where eye catching and rather lovely this year. Something seemed so right about this to her, as if she could spend the remainin years of her life just in this moment. It didnt matter that he had nothing much to say tonight as well as herself but, the part that mattered is the way she was feeling on the inside.

He could not help but feel as though he betrayed his best friend, when he had talked to the other vampire who had essentially killed Dillon, well not successfully the other guy had been positive that the vampire would not live and he and Ayrn were able to continue their lives as they knew it. Ayrn had even found a man that loved her, sure they had their ups and downs and well lately it seemed as though it was a lot more downs then ups but it was impossible to not see that they both cared about eachother, even in the six months that they were apart they both saw eachother almost everyday and he knew that it would have been even harder for them if they had not been able to see or ask someone if the other one was alright. For someone on the outside it was easy to see the glances that they shot one another while they were filled with what they thought to be hatred during the times that they were mad. Not too long after the kidnapping of Pirzi, Erixic had approached him and explained to him that they would be going away for the Thanksgiving week that Pirzi had off school to ensure that they would lure the old vampire out into some remote area where he could be met by someone else whos personal vengeance would take over, his job was to provide this other vampire, while he knew that the rest of the pack would be alligned with the job it was not worth them getting into a battle with a much stronger and elderly vampire. Once he was off the phone he reminded himself that with this new phone call he would have to talk to Erixic about it to see if he thought it would be a good idea for the vampire to come with them on the cruise, after all none of them would know for sure when they would be seeing or hearing from Dillon it might even take a lot longer then they thought it would. His mind was set back onto the hotel though as he changed into normal business clothes and passed out of his room, which now had a broken window from the night before and he almost chuckled at the thought. He reached the lobby and took a seat behind the desk as there did not seem to be anyone there right now which was strange. He then picked up the phone and listened to the voicemail of the hotel, there were a lot of people that had called when there had been noe one there asking for rooms and rates and different things and few that were asking for directions and he sighed gently. The last one was a message from the person that was supposed to be the one at the front desk stating that he would not be in today since he was sick and eyes were rolled as he deleted the message making notes to get angry that the guy had not called his personal phone to inform him since it took him half of this guys shift to realize that there was no one at the front. He picked up his phone putting paperwork off to the side for another time. Miss you, come over and see me? He typed to Lainas number before pressing send and leaning back in his chair.

It had seemed as if the night drug on feverishly for some reason. She had no idea why but sleep didn't seem to find her so easily as it normally did, even if she was fainlly home and able to relax. Chaos whimpered at the side of the bed as a palm slolwy fell to him for a gentle stroke. Palm patted the blanket lightly as a giant leap allowed the canine to perch upon the bed with her. Light vocals rang toward the pup as it's skull cocked to and fro listening to her. By the time she had fallen asleep it was near five am; something she was not exactly used to doing was going to bed that late at night. A brisk bark from downstairs woke Laina swiftly, yawning and streatching it was getting up in the day now as she slid from the warmth. Obviously Chaos needed to go out for a streatch in the yard as he bounded by her side toward the door. Looking out into the fall weather she noticed the leaves all dropping down into the yard again. A shower was much indue as stairs led her back to her bedroom. The steam from the heated water fogged the entire room in no time but, the aching muscles she had never once wanted her to turn the temperature down from what it was set to. Wrapping in the soft towel she smeared the mirror as to where she could see her reflection before sighing. Phone began to wiggle on the stand next to her bed as slolwy she made her way toward it. Smile seemed to come over her facial features for the first time that day as the man's name was read. Opening the text she continued to hold the smile as she began to type slolwy back, Miss you to...of course i'll come down there. Finding the items she needed she slid into her clothing; simply a pair of tattered jeans and a grey and blue sweater that dipped lightly in the front. Knowing it would be chilly later she nabbed the jacket and laid it across the end of the bed for remberance. Locks where still damp from the mist in the shower as she laced a bit of gel into them for safe keeping of the curl she possessed. Only a light touch of makeup was upon her face nothing to stark or noticeable only to brighten and enhance her features. Pulling the jacket onto her form it was a easy decision weather to walk or drive as she whistled for the pup who came bouncing toward her. Snapping his leash to the studded collar she took in a deep breath and walked toward the hotel. Thankfully it was only a few blocks from the end of the drive to the hotel and traffic was not so bad today. Happy to be out on a walk Chaos pulled to sniff every little leaf that scattered by his nose. The building rose upward in the short distance more and more, it was of course the tallest if not near the tallest building in the town and well who really could miss it at all. Arriving at the door she couldn't help but notice Damien behind the counter where the older gentleman normally sat greeting people and doing well HIS job. Skull cocked lightly as she walked in and gave a cheerful smile toward him "well hello there...working hard?" she paused before the counter leaning her elbows up onto it's surface slolwy.

The paperwork had turned out to get the best of him he was no longer looking at the numbers and he was doodling in the pages. They were not forms that needed to be filled out any time soon though since he was always ahead in his paperwork in case something happened that needed to be addressed, such as the situation with Dillon and Ayrn since Ayrn was his best friend and she was number one priority compared to the hotel. It was the same for Laina, she came before any of his work. When she appeared at the door a small smile washed over his face and he instantly felt the need to stand and wrap his arms around her and pull her into an embrace. It was true, a time apart helped you realize just how much a person meant to you and made the heart grow fonder. The dog was with her and hand was then dropped to pet the dog on the head. Not nearly hard enough, I was distracted with missing someone. He told her with a small smile. She then bent down. Does Chaos get along with other dogs? I am taking care of Ayrn and Erixic's dog and she could really use a walk. If you are up to that. When she had answered he stepped into the elevator grabbing her hand and dragging her along with him. Placing the car key into the slot at the top and pressing the button to get to the thirteenth floor in which he lived on. The door opened at the top and he pressed his key into the door hearing the lock come free from the frame and swing open, the dog who was still sulking from her owners being away walked to the door and spotted the other dog and started wiggling and looking excited. He grabbed the animals collar and clipped a leash to it before then stepping out of the apartment and locking the door behind him. This is Cairo. He introduced the dog to the other animal and allowed them to smell eachother before stepping into the elevator and pressing the lobby button and walking across the floor to the door and holding it open for them both to pass through. The street was quiet since a lot of people were at work. Hand was held out for her as they walked. Cairo was polite and heeled by his side, the two had done a lot of work with the dog though ever since Ayrn had adoped Pirzi the dog seemed to be glued to the teenagers side and he hated to admit it though it was almost as if the dog was the girls. Though he knew that Ayrn would not have minded that. Those three went on a cruise to Fiji. Left me behind here to hold down the fort and babysit the dog.
