She smiled slightly as she spotted teh man standing behind the counter working on what seemed to be somthing important. Her sneakers stepped across teh hotel floor with ease before she paused before the desk and leaned her elbows over on it for a brief moment. As he spoke to her and enbraced her lightly she let the full smile come to her facial features. What a lucky person for you to miss but im afraid they might be jealous if they see you standing here with me" laugh echoed through the empty corridor slolwy before he tapped teh dog on the skull to pet him. Simply nodding she had to agree that Chaos was pretty well with other dogs so far, of course he was still a pup in many ways and that could change before long. Getting into the elevator she took the familiar ride to the thriteenth floor where the apartment was located. As she watched him stick the key into the lock she could hear the gears inside it turning to open and let them inside. The other dog was slightly smaller than Chaos as it wiggled about seeming to be happy company had came for her to play with. Chaos responded quickly by sniffing the entire front end of the dog while swaying so rapidly if you got into the way of his body he would knock you over. Smile was upon her face once more letting the male lead the way toward the outside world once more. Taking in a deep breath of fresh air it was nice to just relax and be outside in the fall air with Damien and the dogs. "Well now, you can take your own vacation without them and leave them to watch the hotel for you" she made the suggestion for him as she shook her locks slolwy .

It was nice to know that a lot of the staff that he had loved the hotel and they were loyal to him and would always show up or they would at least give him a lot of notice so that he would be able to find someone to work on time. Though with one of the guys going back to live with his family in Germany he had been forced to find someone new really quickly and the guy had not even told him that he was not coming in today he just simply did not show up. While he would like to think that he would give the guy another chance he was sure that the only time he would be seeing him would be to give him the little money that he owed on his pay cheque unless he had a really good reason as to why he was not here today he knew that the guy had just decided that the job was not for him. After all people sometimes have that realization though it would have been nice to hear it from him rather then to be stranded and if there was something that he could do to make the job better or work out for him he would like to hear the idea. He was very lucky to have the new fitness center being such a hit though. A lot of the men that came and stayed at the hotel were here on business trips and were hosting the meetings in which they were taking a part in in the hotel and ended up at the end of the day of being cramped up in the office all day needing to be able to blow off some steam. He knew that it was a hit for a lot of the women too because he had heard them whispering about the young men that worked there that were eye candy. While Damien might not agree since his interest lay in the other gender, in one girl to be specific he could understand the appeal of wanting to go to the gym when there were young fit men there as opposed to being assisted by a fat old man. So when the girl approached he found himself sigh a contented sigh that released the little bit of tension that had been holding his shoulders rock hard against his spine, spotting that the male that he had found to work was right behind her and ready to take his spot at the desk. He was not too sure how the dogs were going to get along since he had only met Cairo a couple of times before the girl left him with the animal. He felt like a glorified baby sitter. He liked having the dog around already though since the animal was polite and quiet and he did not feel quite as alone in the large apartment. When they were in the elevator arm wrapped around her shoulders as he drew her closer with a small smile. So how was your morning? He asked before then stepping out after her and into the hallway to press the key into the lock and reveal an excited dog. They seemed as though they were going to get along famously as they were both wiggling excitedly. He locked the door the moment that the dogs leash was grabbed and headed towards the elevator. The dog followed him obediently and did not tug on the leash even though he knew that she wanted to be with the other dog. It was true that he knew that Ayrn and Erixic would take over the hotel if he ever decided on going on a vacation. Yah, now that the fitness center is up and running smoothly I will contemplate it. I need a vacation. Only if you come with me though. He told her with a small smile. Erixic had done an amazing job with the place and everything involving the fitness center was left up to him including the hiring and all the paper work. Ayrn knew how to run the hotel though with her caring for Pirzi Damien did not tend to allow the girl to do too much even though she was always asking him what needed to be done. It was nice to have all of them around though especially when Laina was away since it tended to get a little lonely. When they reached outside he allowed the animal to jog a little way ahead of him and play with the other dog. The park was not far so when he arrived he unclipped the dogs leash allowing the young animal to rush across the park and come flying straight back towards him. She avoided the other people though and did not invade their personal space so it did not look like anyone was about to complain. He spotted a bench and moved in that direction sitting on the wooden structure. Arm resting on the back of it and a small sigh passed through lips.

She had to admit it was a breath of fresh air to see Daimen once again. She could feel the eagerness running through the leash of Chaos as he wiggled about toward him. Smile ran across her features as they rode the elevator upward toward the top floor where his apartment was. As he parted the lock and she saw Chairo prancing to and fro as a moment of infringement lay upon her mind. She hoped she and Chaos would get along famously and they seemed to as he lached the leash to the dog's collar and she came bounding out. Manners it seemed she had as they exited the hotel lobby and headed for the dog park. Damien seemed to have a lot on his mind before she took his hand in her own and watched the canines walk before them with ease. His lyrics chimed inside her skull as he mentioned a vacation and the fact he wouldnt go without her. Nod was givin toward him as she looked upward toward his hazy visionaries, Wouldn't have it any other way...a vacation sounds like a much needed rest away from the firm and that constantly growing pile of paperwork on my desk. As she opned the gate to the dog park she smiled watching Chaos chase after Chairo doddling about like wild things who had just been released from capture. Sitting down beside Damien on the bench she looked to him as he sighed lightly, Whats on your mind? question came outward toward him while sea green gems stared up at him.
sorry its so short hun just getting back into my game!

So much in his life had changed, to the point where he no longer thought he was the same person as even a month ago. A month ago he had felt left behind by the hotel and felt still too young to be running a major company like this, a few times he would even have minor melt downs, never in the public eye though. Not even in front of Ayrn and within the next hours of that happening he would be back to normal. Now he fought to get ahead and stay there and he was really starting to reap the awards of working so hard when he was younger, he had paperwork caught up and filed for the next month and it was not even the middle of the month leaving more time for free time to enjoy himself. Erixic was back in the fitness center and taking the best care of the facility so he did not have to worry about that. Ayrn was also a large part of the hotel now that she had announced that she would not be able to return to the police considering the investigation that would strike a little too close for her liking regarding Dillon even though the beast was long since ridded. He had also decided that within the next couple months it would be his turn to go away on holiday. While Ayrn and Erix's had not been a holiday but a business venture they had finished the business within the first portion of the trip and therefore they were left for the rest of the time to be free or responsiblity and to make the best of it. He made sure to tell them that once they had their wedding he would take care of Pirzi and Cairo for the honeymoon he was sure that they would go on, he would be sure that they would. The teenager would not be a handful since she was a good kid and it would give him some time to get to know the younger girl. As he stepped into the lobby he was in a good mood, steps were light along the hallway. Seeing into the fitness center hand was raised in a wave to the lady behind the counter, on the day of the power outage in the hotel she had helped him to secure to the hotel and make sure that everyone was safe and then came out to lunch with him to give him the opinion on a restaurant that he was thinking about moving into the hotel. That was the next step he believed in expansion he had also found it nice to talk the girl about the expectations he was having for the hotel to see what she thought about it all having someone that was not directly related was a nice little outlook. He had appreciated that. He had heard that Laina was back in town though he was not too sure what to do about that since it had been so long since he had seen her and it was hard for him when so much had changed and she had not been around for that. He took a seat behind the desk bringing out the newspaper to unfold and read the headlines.

It had been so long since she had seen the town she was standing withing now it was almost like a ghost to her. The tril she had been in continued to be held off and what not for days at a time not allowing her to return home and see all that was dear to her. She had passed the hotel already and noticed few changed on the outside but the advertisement sign for a new gym inside seemed big. Turning up her driveway she sighed lowly moving at a snails pace toward the parking space that had grown over with grass slightly more than usual. She could now see Chaos could be seen trotting the fence line barking with all he had and tail wagging to see her finally after the months she had been away. It was hard to be home since she had missed so much lately. She wondered if Damine still would even talk to her considering the type of job she held that kept her away for weeks if not months at a time. She had to admit the time she had been gone she had a decent amount of fun considering she was in a popular city on the coast with beaches and touriest attractions galoure she never had to much time to wallow in misery about missing home and Damien. Placing the car into park she slid from the seat and held a single digit upward at the chaotic dog. Finally parting the door from its bearings she step inside to see a house left preciescly as she had it when she left. Letting the large pup through the front door she knelt down to him stroking his skull, "Wow boy, you sure do need a bath!" sitting down her things she smiled and walked the stairs turning at the end of the hallway to her room. Running a shower to warm it she called chaos to her. Placing his front paws onto the side of the tub she called him over into it and began to shower him slolwy. As she soaped him up the wiggling of his body was hard to miss. He never had liked a bath but the sight of Laina being home had excited him to the top notch. As the muddy water drained down the drain she almost felt as if it where like her life draining away at the place she was. Drying him off with a large fluffy towel she felt a tear slide down her cheek slolwy before she quickly wiped it away. Reaching around the sink for her phone she found it while still sitting in the floor with chaos drying him off. She had wanted to suddenly stop in at the hotel and see Damien but then again she wasnt sure if he would even want to see her. Pulling her phone toward her chest she simply stroked the dog for a moment his silly look making her laugh slightly. "oh Chaos what should I do..." Searching her contacts she found the name she was searching for as she began to type on the keypad, "Damien how are you doing? I finally made it back in town...seems like not to much has changed lately" she didn't know what else to tell him. Of course she had missed him more than words could ever express but had he missed her after the second month she was gone. All she could do now was wait and see what he said to her if he even said anything.

Everything seemed to be set into place, Ayrn and Erixic were back from their vacation or rather mission in Fiji, all the group that they had left with were safe and sound, while he was not overly supposed to know about such a thing Ayrn had been accepted and welcomed into the pack of shape shifters as Erixic’s mate and now obviously held a rank to be proud of. He knew that this was something that had been on her mind for a while. Pirzi, the teen that Ayrn had adopted had been accepted into the pack as well even though she was an exotic shifter and not quite similar to the wolves and predator shifters that seemed to be characteristic. He was respectful that he seemed to be well within the circle of trust knowing that he was the only human to know of things like this in the paranormal world as the people around him seemed to be such a part of it. Everyone that he seemed to meet seemed to be some kind of immortal, even a friend from far back in his life Donatello was and from what he had heard from the Italian man was that his girlfriend was not normal either, though he would have to wait to talk to that man until he returned from visiting family in Italy. After all they would have business to talk when he got back about the possibility of bringing his restaurant into the hotel. The hotel had done well enough for itself now that he felt as though he was ready to pour a little more money into it and take some risks that had not seemed possible a year ago. They had already talked about the option of the restaurant last winter but with the opening of the gym he had not been too sure of two risky moves. He simply hoped there would not be trouble between Erixic and Donatello since he was unsure of what had happened with Donatello and Ayrn in the time that she and Erixic had been broken up. He might be seen as a threat but at the same time it might be neutralized since he knew that Donatello now had a girlfriend by the name of Ardeil. He was not aware of how long had passed until he spotted the teenage girl walking from the parking lot to the elevator. A hand was raised in greeting to her. Spotting her she was in dance clothes and eyes snapped back to the calendar on his phone realizing he had little more then a half an hour to get ready for a dance concert type thing that Pirzi had. Ayrn had asked him if he would be able to go since she was not able to attend since Ayrn was adamant that Pirzi always have someone she knew in the crowd and he could not agree more. He then stepped out from the desk leaving the paperwork for the man who had just checked into the hotel. He jogged to the door to catch it before it closed feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket as the buttons for the 12th and 13th floor was pressed. Ready for today? I’m just going to get changed and then I will meet you in the lobby? She nodded with a smile. You know you don’t have to come if you don’t want to, really its ok. [/b] He shook his head. Of course I want to come. He uttered before then checking his phone once he was alone in the elevator a number he had not seen in a long while showed up on the screen. Telling him that she was back in town a mixed bunch of feelings swarmed him. He typed back into the phone. I am going to Ayrn’s daughters dance recital, if you want to talk you can join me. He left the offer open as he then stepped into his apartment and changed into black dress pants and a white button up shirt with a charcoal coloured tie. Within the next half an hour he was ready to go and met the girl who looked stunning in the lobby. They walked towards the parking garage talking casually and she told him that she needed to be dropped off early to get ready and then told him it would be a starting time of an hour later when the show actually started and he nodded that would be enough time for him to go pick up Laina if she responded to his text.

She felt a sigh echo through her body as she laid the phone down and seconds later it rang. Her fingers delicately touched the pad to see what he had said, the response was not exactly what she had wanted but it was expected. "That would be nice..." is all she coudl muster to respond before she realized the world she knew it as was crashing down around her. She had the eerie feelign that her and Damien would no longer be an item of affection instead aquientances at best. Seeing hm now and then on the hotel street on a break or something. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she burrowed her head into Chaos who seemed to lightly understand her pain. Her palm ran along his coat as she sighed and then stood up straightning down the shirt she was wearing. Looking through her closet she decided upon a emerald colored dress that wasnt to formal but not casual either. She slipped it off the rack and lay it upon the bed for the occasion. She had never worn it and yet she wanted to try it on for size tonight. Brushing through her tangled locks she began to fix them in an arranged manner so they looked decent. Half of it was up and the other half dropped down along her shoulders and back with the curls she was known for. Makeup was applied lightly not to thick yet not to thin as she found herself looking in the mirror and not liking what she saw. What could she do to make things like they used to be if anything. Adding the undergarments that matched her dress on she slid it to her form slolwy. Zipping the side of it she hunted down the pair of shoes that would go well with it and walked down the stairs. Chaos was hot on her heels yet she rested getting close to him so her dress wouldnt be scathed with stray dog hairs. Now all she could do is wait and see what came of the night. She could stand at the window and watch for the car to arrive for ever it seemed now. What coudl she do to take her mind off of all this, if it was humanly possible. The anwser was standing beside of her with a wagging tail. He always seemed to fix her problems with the unspeaking knowledge of herself. Smile was upon her features while she had to stroke his skull noticing no loose hair comming onto her palm. She walked over toward the counter and gave hima treat for being just himself.

Never in the man’s widest imagination did he think that his life was going to turn out in this manner. Living in a hotel with his best friend and essentially sister since his parents had adopted her as a teen with her fiancé and their adopted daughter. Though he knew that being around them and the rest of the people that were always present in the hotel that it helped curb the loneliness that was usually present. For it seemed to have been perfect when he met Laina though that seemed to have proved to be too good to be true though since he had not seen her in a couple of months and they had not even been in contact so that made a relationship out of the question for him. He did not allow these thoughts to plague his mind as he stepped into the car with the girl following behind him and sliding into the passenger’s seat. Luckily to keep his mind off the situation she was babbling excitedly about school and drama going on there which made him miss high school even though it had been quite a few years before. The large black gates of the school came into view and he slowed down since there was a line up to get into the large driveway, the girl took this time to pass him the tickets and then told him that she would get out and run the rest of the way to the school and he nodded promising to be back in time for the show to start. He then turned around performing an illegal turn on the street heading in the direction of Laina’s house, more than a few times when she had been away he had jogged past the house hoping to see signs of life, though he had deemed himself to be pathetic and given that up recently in the last month he had convinced himself that he needed to move on from the heartbreak and start over. A deep inhale was taken as car then pulled up the driveway and he stepped out to knock on the door and reveal her in a stunning dress though he knew that he must ignore the feelings that caused him to choke up slightly as he then uttered a smile and a kind word. Hey, ready? He asked before then walking in the direction of the car opening the door for her politely before then getting into the driver’s side and starting the ignition. The car then pulled out of the driveway and onto the road heading back to the private school. Turning into the driveway and they were directed to a parking spot on the west side that seemed to be the farthest away since it was apparent that they were one of the last to arrive since people seemed to get there early to ensure good seats. He passed a ticket her way. Ayrn and Erixic had planned to come but something came up so I got two tickets. They showed the tickets at the doorway and were allowed into the area that was reserved for parents. He felt a little out of place though he was excited to be a part of this teens life. He settled on a seat beside her and they did not get the chance to talk before the show started and the dancers came on stage. She was the lead in what looked like a ballet performance paired with an elegant and leggy man who mirrored her movements easily. He pointed to the girl on the stage. That’s her. He told Laina knowing that Laina had not met her. This seemed to be just the start though and there was a wide variety of styles of dancing in which she was featured, there were very few that she was not present in and it took place over just over an hour. When it finished the girl jogged up to them still donning the sparkly makeup that had been used in her last dance. Pirzi this is Laina, Laina this is Pirzi. After the introductions were made Damien then hugged the girl congratulating her on a well done performance. I am going to get a ride home from Rev. I will see you at the hotel. [/b] She uttered before then noticing the strange glance he was giving her before then bouncing off in the direction of where he now noticed that her ex or now I guess boyfriend again had been sitting and watching her.

She swallowed down her nerves as she watched the car pull up the driveway. She anwsered the door as she would any other day of teh week when he would show up. His smile was catching and she couldnt help but apply her own. SHe didn't reach for his hand as they walked to her side of the car, she didn't plant a kiss on his cheek or lips when she had stood beside of him before getting in. She did however, realize the fate their relationship had came to since she had gone, it was no longer there, the evidence they had together was now gone out the window and might as well had been ran over by his expensive tires. Gut was churning at they pulled into the school's parking lot and made their way inside the dim light auditorium. Her seat was taken as she had thanked Damien for the extra ticket and a chance to meet the girl she had heard so much about the months ago. Swallowing down her emotions she got caught up in the dancing before she heard the deep vocals whisper into her ears. It sent chills rolling down her arms and legs as she nodded and replied slightly, "she looks beautiful up there" Her saliva seemed to catch in her throat as she watched them dancing around without a care in the world it seemed. After the show she could see the glittered diva bouncing up toward them with estatic features. Damien introduced them to each other as she nodded her head and spoke to her, "Pleasure to meet you; your dancing was wonderful" she ahd merely enough time to speak when she announced she was riding home with someone else and that left her and Damien to be alone on the ride home. She feared this as she walked out into the sunset sky and licked her lips. She tried to speak but she couldnt find the words to do so with. She automatically knew he would be opening the car door for her, it was the gentleman he had been. As she took her seat she found herself stammering about like a fool in her mind. Gathering her thougts she began to process a sentence, "I'm sorry for this...everything. I had no idea i'd be away for so long... Damien ... I" she paused and looked out the window slolwy. She didn't know what else to say. She knew the "im sorry" would never be enough and she had to realize this and continue to face the day without knowing she would get a good morning text, a walk in the dog park, or a kiss at the door to say goodnight. To think of it they had planned a vacation together right before she had taken the case and left on the trip. She was supposed to be off and then it arrived on her desk the morning she was to begin her time off. Sigh rolled from her lips rather quietly as she tried to find the right things to say so they could depart on a good note. She hoped it wasnt goodbye forever as she had grew extremely fond of him and well loved him deeply. It was not the simple good well great looks he carried it was what was inside she had came to know so well. Cloudy judgement wanted to reach for his hand just to feel the warmth and protection of him near to her and yet she restrained. Her jade specs stared out the window watching the sceneary flow by with ease from the car.

The girl did look stunning as she danced in front of the crowd as if none of them even existed which to him was strange since she was rather shy as a person and this was quite out of character for her since he found it to be so strange when Ayrn had announced to him that she was quite an accomplished dancer. To see her up there leading the rest of the group was rather amazing considering her situation she had been in before Ayrn had adopted her almost straight out of a juvenile detention center. It made his mind clear that not every kid that was placed there was a bad person and with proper care and attention they would be able to make a turn around in their lives. If now he had been told that she had been in a lot of trouble in the younger teen years of her life he would have told them that it was ridiculous and could not have been the same girl. His attention was then turned back to Laina as she stated that Pirzi looked great up there and he nodded before the waiting for the girl when she came down from the stage to meet them and introductions were made before she then excused herself to go join her boyfriend and announce that she did not need a ride home which would make it a little more awkward for the two of them driving her back to her place. He nodded before then moving towards the door with Laina. She apologized to him for being away for so long and he nodded trying not to let the emotion take over the entire surface of his face. Its fine I understand, that is your life. He uttered though he knew that he was not alright with it and never had been. You mean a lot to me Laina and you have since I met you but I think it’s better for us to remain as friends for at least now. He told her as he opened the door for her being stepping into the drivers side as well. I just could not take you going away again it was much too hard on me and I did not know what to expect and it broke my trust in you. I am sorry. He told her gently when they pulled up to the side of her house he stepped out with her wrapping her in a light hug. I hope you will still be a part of my life. And I really did miss you. He assured her before dropping the friendly embrace and pausing to see what words would be spoken between the two of them. He wanted desperately to tell her that everything was going to be ok and that they could go back to the way that they were before she left but sadly there was no way that would be able to happen.

tis soo sad! She could feel the tensions between them building. Her lips quivered as she listened to him speak. All she could muster was the nodding of her skull. She could see the light dim in the distance from her back porch as she sighed easily and let him open her door. He wrapped her in a singular armed hug before she felt the tears begin to roll down her cheeks. She attempted to speak, "I um...I do so hope we can remain friends Damien I don't know where my life would be without you...you mean so much to me" at this point she began to tear up more letting them slide down her cheeks as she pulled away from him and walked toward the house. Unlocking the door she turned to take a final look at him before sliding inside. Letting the door shut she slid down the wall and looked at the dog comming to great her ears cocked to the side and tail still. Her gasps where silent as she tried to compose herself quickly for the dog. She knew he felt something was wrong with her he just didn't know the half of it. Standing up she walked up the stairs and found a simple pair of basketball shorts and tanktop to wear as she slid from the dress. She knew she wouldn't be able to go around Damien without feelings being present inside of her. She knew that being friends with him would come on an accidental basis when they passed on the streets or something to that effect. It was hard enough to be gone from him for a few months but not having him to hold forever was something of another story. Sigh penitrated her lips as she found herself curling up on the bed and sobbing yet again. She had no idea what to do other than she was fed up with her life and her job. When the morning came she would call and resign from her position and find something more easy going that kept her in the general area to keep her time occupied from the thoughts that would now fill her brain.

He was at a loss, he felt as though either way in this situation he was losing. He knew that he could not be with her in the manner in which they had before since he felt much too betrayed by what had happened between the two of them and he also felt as though he would be holding her back from the job with the obligation of him being here. If anything he needed to have the time to figure out what he needed in life before he then made and commitments to anyone else. He had been alone most of his life so that would be the way he would be for the time being. The hotel would fill the void that would be left. It always had, he also knew that he would always have Ayrn on his side and her friendship was one thing that seemed to get him by on the times that it seemed to be the worst. He knew that he wanted to remain friends with the girl though since she had close ties to the pack and the people of the pack were important to him since a lot of them were working in the hotel for him and it was also important because she was a large part of his life. Seeing her in this state was almost too much for him and he felt a large pang in the bottom of his chest knowing that he was the cause of all this pain. He wrapped her in a single armed hug where she then told him that she hoped that they still could be friends and he nodded before speech then flowed forth. I hope we will remain friends as well because you mean a lot to me as well, I don’t want to hold you back from your job and I need to do some of my own searching for what is really going on in my own life. Sometimes it seemed to be the hardest when you had all the choices in the world. Recently he had been wondering if he really wanted to be this much in charge of the hotel for the rest of his life. Did he want to go back to school like Ayrn had and take something that would interest him as well, he was sure that he would be able to get someone to look after the hotel so that would not be a issue but did he enjoy the hotel enough to be the source of his happiness and career for the next 40 years. Of this he was not too sure, sure he loved the hotel and loved living there and being around all the people that were involved in it running as smoothly as it did but was there more in life? He did not say anything else since he was too scared for what might come from his mouth as he watched her then pass in front of him to the door of her house before getting back in the car and fighting with the emotions that threatened to take him over, lip was bit and he managed to maintain his composure until he passed through the door of his apartment and allowed himself to sink into the couch. Head was then rested into his hands and emotions able to consume him to a point of misery, it had been a lot easier when she had been away when he went over the thoughts in his mind without having to deal with it but trying to come to terms with it being over but seeing her had brought back all the old memories and all the old feelings as before. He could only hope that one day things would be change and it might be possible.

She found her composure finally after a matter of minutes had passed more like a half an hour. Wiping the tears from her cheeks she knew she had to get up and move along with the night and the days that would follow. Hold her back from her job was the one thing she could remember he said to her. He had never held her back seeming though he made her more ambitious for it. It didn't matter now really as she was planning to resign and find something more along her lines of a decent job. Not running to and fro constatnly and being away for so long at a time. She found a towel and dried her face off more so as she walkd down the stairs and found the dog laying on the corner of the couch. Sinking down next to him she stroked his coat and just looked about. Something inside her beat wild for a matter of moments, she had not had a midnight romp through the woods in quiet a while. As a matter of fact the last time she had been in wolven form was when the next door neighbors house had been broken into and Damien had been there as well. She stood up and looked toward Chaos before speaking to him "ill be back soon boy dont wait up" Smile slid across her lips easily as she found the door knob and walked oout onto the front porch. Looking along the woodline she found herself edging to get inside there. Living back off the highway had it's advantages as she slolwy sank to the concrete porch and began to morph into her opposite form. Tanned legs formed into cram and silver limbs. Pouty lips became a slender snout of soot and cinder lined with rows of daggers. Eyesight and hearing where increased ten fold as she padded down the steps and into the yard. The wilderness beyond was all that waited for her now. Screeching of owls and prowling of coons seemed to drown out her thoughts as she wound through the opaque lite trail. Something inside her shook slightly before she jerked to a hault and continued to look around trying to pick up on whatever was out there searching for her as well. Tendons flexed slolwy as she took a few more steps and found herself next to a creek fluttering down the moutain side. She had never seen this place before and it seemed to absorbe her mind. Laying down in a small patch of damp tender she sighed and began to knaw upon one for the moment. Perhaps she would take a stroll through town and see what was going on. Afterall it was late and not many people would be out and even so if they where wolven sightings where decently common at this time of year around these parts. Elongating her limbs she plodded forth toward the town she once knew so well. Passing the barbers shop and the bakery she found herself on a familiar route. It led her toward the hotel and as much as she tried to pass it by she had to stop and look. It was to bad she couldnt cry for her heart was breaking inside and she wanted to let it all out once more. Growing stronger through this she simply lay under a bench and stared at its looming featers and faint glowing windows from lights still brightly burning.

Healing would be what his main focus was now. As he sat on the couch and allowed the emotions to not only hit him but to engulf him to a point where he felt as though he was overwhelmingly miserable he then decided that this was getting him nowhere and he was not going to help himself if he was sitting here and wallowing in self-pity, things like this happen and now it was time to get over it because the sooner that he would allow himself to get over it the more likely he would be able to handle being her friend in the long term. Of course he knew that within the next couple days people that were close to him would be able to tell that he was a little off and he would have to tell more than one that he had broken up with Laina and a few of the brave might even ask what had happened though he was not a kiss and tell kind of person and if they wanted to know they were going to have to make sure that it was alright with Laina and ask her themselves and most of them did not even know her so he knew that was not going to be happening. So when he then stood from the couch he decided that this was a new beginning for himself, he moved in the direction of the back of the apartment to get changed into a comfortable pair of jeans and a white polo shirt, not risking going too casual since he was planning to walk into the open of the hotel and he did not want to be seen in clothes such as his sweat pants because then people would really know that something was wrong with him. He locked the door behind him before then moving to the stairwell of the building pausing at the top to then jog down the thirteen flights to the lobby and where the offices were. He knew that it was a shorter distance from the stairs to the offices so that had been why he had chosen the stairs, he walked swiftly to the darkened rooms and flicked only the absolutely needed switches when he entered the part of the building, from the moment that he got into the door he set himself to work organizing the place, he knew that the workers that would come in in the morning would think that he would have gone crazy with the way it was planning on looking in the morning. He sifted through the papers that were already mostly caught up and finished the ones in advance for the next couple months. He ordered it so that only the final numbers would have to be put down and signed them all before then stacking them neatly on the corner of his desk making sure everything was paid in advance and everything was so ready if he did end up going through with his plan of a little soul searching and perhaps not spending every waking moment at the hotel. He had to live a little while he was still young and not tied down. After three hours he finally felt a little better and finished and locked all the doors and headed back up the stairs to emerge onto the roof panel in which he had placed a hot tub and uncovered it turning on the jets before climbing in the window that he left open to grab a glass of rum and settle into the boiling water.

She had no idea of what was to come in her life now. SHe could hear faint footfalls inside the hotel and of course the constant buzzing of the elevator from floor to floor as people made their way in their rooms and about. SHe could see a light flicker on at the desk in the front lobby. It must have been him, Damien filling his voids with paperwork. If she wished she could always blame the breakup on him and the hotel that took up his entire existance, but it wasnt like her to place blame instead of take it. She had always taken teh blame for everything and she ight as well this to. If she had never left on the tril she would not be in the situation she was now. What if he moved on and found someone else, would she be able to live through that pain? Her visionaries perked upward at the sight of a figure moving on top of the hotel and it could only be one person. It came as a shock she had never seen him sit inside the hot tub before yet again she had a short time with as his love. Love...what was love anymore, it was nothing but lies of forever and betrayls that led you to breaking apart inside. Love...it hurt and she wanted no more of it now. She had been through it with Erix and now Damien. She was giving up on herself and the game of love. Though in the past it had been a most plesant experience to flaunt about and see who's eye she coudl catch now it was pain and misery. She wuold end up comparing every man she met to Damien, without a doubt. Lowly as she was a feeling sank into her bones as she appeared from under the bench, a passing car screeched it's breaks for a moment trying t have a better look upon her. Wolven form seemed to not hesitate as her skull lifted toward teh moon and let the mournfull howl escape jowls of agony. It faded withing a few moments of time before she walked lightly across the concrete sidewalk and back twoard the forest at which she had emerged from. It was time to go home, time for bed, and time to attempt to start the comming day ahead of her.
