They both acted noticeably different around one another and always had it seemed. The attraction between them had always been something that baffled Rylen, the strong connection he had felt with the girl had come up to be unavoidable in the end but this was something he would never want to change. Even though there had not been much of a relationship between them it had been far from comparable to any other high school one and that was guaranteed. He knew that leaving her and coming back had been really pushing his luck and he still remembered very clearly how fortunate he was that she had been willing to give him another chance. If that had not happened, where would he be now? It was impossible to know where he would have gone after that, what he would have done though it probably would have involved moving again as that was something he used to do constantly due to boredom. He just could not handle the same place for two long yet a certain girl had drawn him back and kept him in the town they had met one another in. Now they were going to go elsewhere obviously due to circumstances and he did not know where they would end up exactly after attending the college they both had intentions of looking into seriously. He would go with Larae anywhere she wanted though, this was very much a given and not to be questioned. She was his first priority no matter what and he was going to be right there with her wherever they went practically. After all, there was no way he was going to be split from his soon to be wife as that was just common sense, was it not? He was undoubtedly looking forward to marrying her which if someone ever predicted that, he would be the one to submit them to an insane asylum. When she had brought up the changing room incident, it had surprised him and of course provoked him to start joking with her about it out of habit as he still remembered the look on his face when he had caught a glimpse of his reflection during that small moment of time. He definitely had the "deer in the headlights" look there as that had alarmed him more than anything but now of course would not even come close to the same reaction which they were both chuckling about now. There were numerous instances they had run into before that would not end in the same manner but this was simply how much things had changed over time. It was funny now of course as it was amusing to look back on how they had behaved which was nothing even similar to how the two were now seeing as they were basically inseparable for the most part.Eyes were rolled as she tauntingly told him he was allowed to fantasize and he shook his head playfully in dismay at her. There was so much more to the two of them than anyone would ever know and looking on this little incident was only a small fraction of the things they had gone through together. This was one of the elements that had lead to them developing such a close relationship in his opinion. As they were sitting at the table and he had reached for her hand, he second guessed his action and slowly pulled his hand back and glanced away as he was not quite sure what he was supposed to do now. Before he had shied away from the action but now it appeared as though she was not in favor which caused him to be at a loss for now.She apologized and he shrugged lightly, glancing back over at her. It's nothing to apologize for. He uttered simply, thinking it would only be left at that. He ordered politely from the waitress to look back over at Rae only for him to be a bit puzzled by the way she seemed to be acting until his hand was taken by hers and small smile was placed on lips in turn. Grin broadened as she suddenly moved forward to kiss the back of his hand which was not accepted and he felt like a bit of a fool as the only thing he could do was sit there and stare at his fiance. Anyone could see this and he had not a care in the world as he knew how he felt about the girl and felt as though those feelings were returned mutually. Honestly he wished entirely that he could have a large wedding that involved the other seniors from their school just to show off that Larae was his and well that things were very much different than everyone had thought in the beginning. That also would have been one hell of a party, Rylen would have made sure of that. This was not too large of an issue though as he was perfectly content with her idea of just getting married as soon as possible. He did want to talk to her about a honeymoon at least as they deserved that, did they not? They could discuss more details about that later. Do you have any clue what you might be interested in at that college? He asked out of curiosity, knowing they had been briefly described a few courses the school entailed but not all of them and he was wondering if she had any idea as he was not very decided himself; as he was about typically everything.
