She turned to him as he paid to tell him that she was sorry that she did not bring her own money and eyes were rolled in their sockets he bent down to her level to whisper words that were only hers to hear. Bri, Its my treat and even if you had brought your money would would not have been allowed to use it. I am an 800 year old vampire, if I can not manage to pay for an ice cream and a trip to the aquarium there is something really wrong in this picture. There was something about aquariums that even appealed to the immortal man. He did not feel bad for the fish since he knew that they were born and raised in captivity and would know no different, they would not be missing the open water. His arm was wrenched in the direction of the tank as she placed a hand on the glass as if it was unreal to her and he could not help the smile that was creeping along features and resting on palely tainted rose kissers. The ice cream in his hand was melting and he was glad that he had gotten a bowl since by this time it would be dripping down his arm if he had a cone. So he stood back as she admired the fish remembering that there were more then a dozen other tanks so wondering if this was how long she spent on the first one they would be here all day, it was not as though it bothered him though. He was all hers today he did not have any previous commitments to tear him away from the company of the girl, well unless Caprice decided to make an appearance though that was not likely since she had been on her way to the airport and while she might not have been honest in their previous relationship she had no reason to lie to him now. Now that she had gotten exactly what she had wanted. He hated this though if wanted to lead a life free from here it would be the only way. She once again dragged him onward and he moved easily and gracefully to the next room. By now he was just in need to find a garbage can to place the eaten ice cream, if she still felt she needed proof that he ate food just like every other human there it was. He also had more in mind for the evening. If she would have him. After this, how would I be able to convince you to be my date for a dinner at a restaurant? He asked quietly with a coy smile. He waited for her answer before stepping closer to a tank that held a wide variety of sharks. He shivered. His only true fear. Sharks. He stepped closer and even though they were small sharks he barely was able to allow himself to stand there while he observed them, what if the tank broke and they were released to the viewing area and ate him? Well he would most likely live though that was beyond the point. They were still ...scary. He move closer behind her chin resting on her shoulder as lips were nearing her ear. Want to know a secret? He asked in a joking tone. Not waiting for her response he uttered. I am deathly afraid of sharks. He stated with a small chuckle though a blush did creep up his neck at revealing that to her. The dolphins were next in the tank and it was much larger then the rest and had an area that you could walk up to for the dolphin shows and it seemed to be perfect timing since when they arrived one was just starting and a trainer was walking across the small stage like area. He took a seat at the very front guiding her the same way knowing there would be a large splash though that would just add to the appeal, the kids that had been here a couple times were smarter and sat a few rows back.

Chin was tucked toward her chest, gaze dropping towards the earth as crimson rose upon her dark cheeks, still barely visible to her companion despite the maiden's attempt to hide her embarrassment. Of course, he was right and she now felt foolishly sheepish for even mentioning the necessity of bringing her own money, but the usual customs of the outside world were blatantly lost upon her as they did not apply within the reservation. Inside her tribal lands, they were only provided with what they could not live without: a grocery store, a mechanic shop, although you had to go outside the reservation to buy a car, and a small little hardware shop which, if they did not have what one needed in their stock, always placed the orders for any items needed from the outside town. The only source of enjoyment away from an adult person's home was the bar on the farthest reaches of the reservation, closest to the white man's world. Bri had never been inside that establishment. Only the older peoples, most aging at least a decade and above her own age, went into the bar, but she had heard talk of Kat finding his way in not too long after he was Choosen. That news had not surprised her in the least, however, it did go against the founded ways of the tribe and she was surprised that it did not procure more than gossip. Besides that, it was easy to forget the man's age when he looked only a few years elder than her perhaps. But, the matter held no weight now within the aquarium. Crown turned towards the bloke as his question entered her ears, a bright smile alighting features. I would suggest bribing me with another kiss, but as I have recently discovered that I may kiss you whenever I wish and have nothing further to request as of yet, your asking is sufficient. I will happily accompany you to dinner. Grin lingered upon countenance for a moment longer while the girl continued looking up at him before attention returned to the surroundings now immediate, gaze roaming as she took in the first impression. When they had first entered the next room, an eerie sort of feeling had crept over her skin, causing her to stare with a strange fascination into the glass on either side of her. Instantly, without having to be told what they were, she knew without a doubt these creatures with fins along their back, sides and long whipping tail were predators. Legs carried her a few steps closer to the wall, hand remaining at her side this time. They were a different sort of predator that moved stealthy ways that reminded her of a fox or a lynx. The movements of wolven brethren were smooth, deliberate, and while hunting often called for some secrecy of position, lupines did not rely too heavily upon their skills of concealment to take prey. His sudden, unexpected approach from behind sent a different sort of shivers down her body; pleasant. The chin resting upon her shoulder brought yet another smile to mask, focus totally diverted from the animals before them due to the night-walker. His breath was felt on her neck as he spoke, producing another tremble that was hidden by the quick curious look, brow furrowing slightly between her eyes while cheek turned in his direction. She felt the brush of his nose against her flesh a second before he admitted his secret, frame stepping forward once in order to give herself enough room to turn and partly face him, an entertained and amazed expression turning upwards at him with lips parted in surprise. Barely catching the blush that teased the pale colored hide, the fatal was forced into another grin, palm lifting to touch his cheek fondly before falling back to her side. I feel like I just learned Spiderman is afraid of snakes. Vocals joked, a teasing smirk flashing across face just as they moved on to the next attraction, the lady no longer quite enraptured by the sea beasts called sharks and happy to take the male away from what seemed to be his only fear. Confusion settled over the lass at the immediate impression she obtained of the room, glances frantically jumping from one side of the space to the next, frowning at the people who were seated in the benches as in all of the previous rooms, those assembled had been standing, gawking at the tanks and their inhabitants. Vision jerked to include Dario when she felt his hand on her arm, following dutifully to where he led and taking a seat beside him, still unsure of the situation. Taking a hint from him eyes turned to the stage and the man in a wet suit who stood there, balking a bit at the sight, but trying to hide her disbelief at how tight the cloth clung to his body. Leaning over onto one hip, her chin settled upon his shoulder for a couple of seconds before her question emits. What is going on?

Of course he would notice the small flush since it brought blood to the surface of her delicate tissue though he pretended as though he did notice it since he did not want her to feel uneasy around him. He tried his best to make her comfortable even though it was not natural. A glance was shot to a group of school kids that seemed to be headed in the same direction as them. He had missed out on so much of the things that these kids were priviledged to right now. During the times that he went to school they worked from the time they were strong enough, there was nothing that regarded it to be illegal at that time and it was not uncommon for people to not even make it through elementary school before stopping to work. At that time education meant nothing you were able to achieve just as good of a job as the next person no matter how smart you were. He had a brain though and his parent seemed to know that and that was why they forced him to finish school though he ended up working twice as hard since he needed to pay his way. He finished the majority of high school then varied his education later in life once the bloodlust of being a new vampire had simmered to the point that he was able to be around humans again. Never his family ever again though since he had to keep it a secret. It hurt him and he kept tabs on them and was equally as devastated when he even outlived his younger brother who was only three when he was turned. He always wondered if the kid even remembered the many days that they had played trains in the basement of the house and tag outside with the neighbours kids even though he was much older then them all and tended to be the idol that they all looked up to. He was brought out of the thoughts by her words. Telling him that she would ask for a bribe of another kiss but she was content knowing that she was allowed to kiss him whenever she pleased and it was true, he truly was under her spell and putty beneath her fingers. Though a small chuckle rose deeply in the males vocals rattling his chest at the next set of lyrics stating that she felt as though she had just found out that Spiderman was afraid of snakes. I don't like them either, though I would not be compared to Spiderman. I am more of the villian type. A wink was sent her direction before continuing in the direction of the dolphin tank taking their seat on the bottom bleacher watching her as she seemed to be perplexed to what was going on. He could not help a small almost inaudible chuckle at the expression on her face. Locks were pushed back from her face from the side as he whispered to her. Just watch, its a show. He stated gently and soon after it started with the dolphins leaping into the air and doing various stunts and tricks. He avoided being sprayed for the most part though he was not too lucky once they got closer and he knew that it was just a part of the show. Soon it was over though and the kids started leaping down the bleachers like a bunch of hooligans laughing and giggling. Instead of jumping to his feet he settled with just pausing there for a moment and allowing all the children to pass not really wanting to walk through the rest of the place with them bunched around the pair. How I wish I would be allowed to steal you away for a few days. I know a place that you would love. He stated quietly expression was soft and mirrored in azure optics as they met hers. The intense stare continued for only a moment before he was not able to contain himself much longer and lips met hers in a more hungry fashion then before, though self control was still exercised. Knowing they were almost alone it did not bother him and lips pressed firmly against hers for a moment though he was determined not to scare her off and pulled back to get to his feet offering her a hand to stand. Dinner time? It was amazing how the time seemed to pass so quickly and already it was starting to get dark, the sun was dipping below the horizon line and the relentless rays soon grew less and farther between, though to get out of the building they would need to pass through a couple more exhibits though compared to the sharks and jelly fish and dolphins they were not all that amazing. Though he did take his time if she wished to see the rest in more detail and lingered by the side of the tank though he was anxious to take her to the restaurant that he hand in mind knowing it would be perfect and he could not wait to get the priviledge to sit across from her on what could possibly be called a date? Though she surely would not want to get involved with a vampire would she? He pushed the thoughts from his mind as they reached the exit.

Uncertain, childlike expression was whiped from the essa's face to be replaced with a confident, skeptical mask that more befitted her age. Eyes roll in disbelief, the maiden trying to ignore how such a split second action by the male in the form of a wink made a warm mixture of pride and slight embaressment bubble up inside of her. I do not think a villian would take naive woman, barely at the age of twenty, to an ice cream shop, a aquairum, and out to dinner. Singular brow was raised as facade turned again towards him, emerald surfaces daring him to contradict her. Just then, the marine display began, making any further arguement impossible. Music filled the room, drawing intrigued gaze from her companion to first roam all around the room, the fea curious where the sound came from before soft, sudden splashing called her focus once more to the man in the wet suit upon the stage. Nothing else was before her view and so the lass allowed herself to study the stranger across the way clinically and without much interest. His outfit was so different from any she had ever seen. She glanced then over at Dario. He did not seem to find it werid. Was it normal for people in the world outside of the forest to dress like that? Had he ever worn such tight fitting fabric? Nearly inaudible giggles were released at the thought, her mind replacing the head of the entertainer with mask of the man at her side. It wasn't a displeasing picture, but seemed a little misplaced from the male's character. Still laughing to herself, orbs turned to watch the show, her previous object of amusement forgotten as the creatures shot out of the water, flipping, spinning or simply going as high as they could. Along with the rest of the crowd, she gasped and clapped at the appropriate times, liquids locked upon the tank as the next trick unfolded. She was shocked when water from the tank was sprayed upon the audience by it's inhabitants, but laughed good naturedly, a playful glare shooting towards her cohort, guessing he knew full well the risk of being splashed and had placed them near the front to expose her to the brunt of this experience. Despite his underhanded endeavor, the girl was throughly enjoying herself and disappointment washed over her as the dolphins no longer lept into the air, their trainer thanking all the spectators for coming while announcing that the show was over. Others around them were rising from their seats and moving on to the next attraction so Bri thought they should be doing the same, but when she started to stand, she noticed he seemed to be perfectly content to wait out the wave of people and so she too relaxed against the chair, estatic countenance lifting till voids met his, torso twisting in his direction with knee bent and one calf tucked under the opposing thigh. Her current high slowly abated at the confession he offered, smile fading from lips and heart sinking in her chest just an inch, jade depths dropping to look at the floor. Words gathered at the back of her throat to tell him how much she wished to go with him where ever he wanted to take her, but the syllables remained closed up, mouth dry and cottony and thereby inhibiting speech. The freedom she had been alloted was hardly freedom at all, not when there were more attractive destinations to travel to than the nearby village. She concurred with his earlier assessment: it was not fair, not in the least. His kiss was an unexpected, but welcomed distraction from the thoughts that plagued her mind, although her entirety was not in the return. Hands lifted to his face, holding it close before one arm wrapped around his neck while body scooted closer, silently begging him to never let her go. Reality was too harsh, too painful. If she could, she would rather stay right here with his kiss on her lips forever, but alas life never freezes time. Dario did pull away and standing, offered her his hand. Unable to call forth words just yet, chin bobbed in a nod, hand reaching for his as figure returned to it's full height. They continued through the various rooms, pausing to look at the contents of each tank, but she was no longer awestuck by it and instead impaitent for the promised dinner, wishing he would stop being so courtious to stop for her benefit at each window. Bri did her best to drag him through the remaining hallways, and they returned out of doors after the sun was already set, a few lingering rays of purple, orange and yellow casting their colors across the sky's clouds. Anticipation made her self-concious and she became all to aware of the simple, worn appearance of the clothing she now wore. If only I had been expecting to go on a date this morning when I dressed I would have at least tried to look good. Searching look was snunk at her companion, wondering if he noticed her lack of fine dress enough to take her to a resurant that was not very refined. She also began to wonder the outlook he had upon the dinner. Was it just a dinner and nothing more or a date? Was this whole day a drawn-out date? The situation seemed to become more and more uncertain with her every thought.

He felt the need to make another comment to add to what she had stated, telling him that he did not seem like a villian in his ways, he longed to tell her that she really must not judge books by their cover, sure he was placid for the time being though there would not have to be much to set the predator off into a fit of rage. In fact for so long he lived the life of a monster, not interacting with people just demolishing everything in his path. All that seemed like a haze right now like he had been watching himself do it all, not actually uttering the actions himself. When the skills of the trained assasin came out he was much worse then any comic book villian, dangerous to the point that even he felt threatened. The power was too much for the man to handle and he normally felt as though his life was spinning recklessly out of control in those situations. Though for the time being he allowed her to think what she wished since he knew that it could change in an instant if she was ever unfortunate to see him lose control. His self control was much greater at this time in his life though nothing was perfect, that was too much to ask. One sidelong glance, one challenging statement, they all added up in the vampires mind. Never to be shrugged off, one of his flaws was he did not give second chances. Everytime he had they came back to bit him in the ass. Look at what happened with Harlen, she abandoned him without even the decency to inform him and he gave her a second chance when she came back and she ended up breaking his already vulnerable heart once again. He was over that now though, Harlen was nothing but a person of his past even if she came back he would never give a third chance. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. It only takes one mistake to cost you your life in some instances so why allow the opportunity to arise. Music soon drowned out his thoughts and instead of watching the display sneaky glances were shot to the female smiling at the wonder that was apparent on her face. Delicate hearing picked up on the girls giggling though he did not comment as he leaned back on the bench. The show did not last long, good, he did not find it interesting to watch the dolphins even with how impressive it was supposed to be. His interest was solely in the girl at his side right now. She finally realized why he had chosen to sit right at the front and a coy smirk crossed handsome features. He did not mind the small splash knowing the water would dry within a matter of moments since the sun was beating down on them now. As soon as it was over she seemed as though she was going to stand with the crowd though changed her mind when she saw that he was not moving. The kiss caused breath to hitch in the males throat, it was not as though he had not kissed someone before so what was going through his mind he was not too sure. She was special, she was different and seemed to have a total different effect on him. She did not speak when he told her that he wished to drag her away from the world that she had known for so long though they were so intune it was easy to see what her expression held. Jawline was held rigid as his palm reached up to touch his face and he did not flinch under her touch even though it was a normal response for him. He tested his self control and lips remained on hers until he was scared to be consumed by the feelings that washed over his entire body. He could not get too attached, too late. He got the hint that she did not want to stay by the second tank that she passed by with no more then a small glance. The exit loomed ahead and he sighted in on it. He was not willing to admit that this was the signal that their time together was more then half over. At this a small frown crossed features which was quickly replaced by a pleasent expression since that meant that he simply needed to make the best of the remainder. He already had a good idea of what might be enjoyable. His destination was already picked out in his mind, along the side of the most sought out area of town there was a small hole in the wall buffet that went along with one of the hotels. There was a large porch on the outside and a fabulous view, for this night he could not think of anything better then eating outside. It was still mild even though the sun had already set. It was not fancy so neither of them needed to change. He did not want to place her out of her element though he longed to take her to a fancy restaurant to show off the girl by his side even if she was not his to show off. Perhaps that would change with time there was no pressure though since he would simply be in her company until she no longer wanted him there. She was so different from any other girl that he had ever met. The darkness was much more the males element. He felt at ease without the scrutiny of the bright light that usually adorned the terrain. The males vision was just as accurate. Luckily the aquarium was situated on the same street as their destination and it was a brief walk across the individual panes of the sidewalk to the hotel that housed the buffet. Door was caught from a gentleman who had already walked inside and arm instinctively wrapped around her shoulders knowing that she was out of her element. Asking for a table for two outside they were lead to a large sliding glass door that lead out onto the porch that was already packed full of people. Chair was pulled out for her and gaze then turned to the outside, seeing a band starting to set up, it would be live entertainment which might be nice. The stage was cleared for presumably the people who wanted to dance, he then took his seat across from her and after a few moments spoke. So Bri, what are your dreams? To accomplish in life?

Hand slipped into his as if it were the most natural thing in the world, body pressing close to her companion while they crossed the street and continued down a long sidewalk, the music wafting into her ears from what she guessed was the building further ahead with multicolored lights hanging from the rooftop's shingles. She was happily suprised to find that this was the establishment where they were to have the promised dinner when he slowed his pace as they neared. Perhaps it was the welcoming atmosphere of the place or the suddenly very relaxed nature of the male, but the essa felt more at ease with herself and the strange city, going as far as parting herself from his side as they walked up to the resturant's doorway. Eyes roamed all around the area, taking in the front's appearance as well as the inside's appeal which, with the sun set past the horizon, seemed to fit perfectly together. The lights on the outside was minimal, just enough for a person to see themselves, their vehicles, and any other people in their immediate space and inside was also dimly lit, an attempt in trying to establish some feeling of privacy amongst the seperate dinner parties. Arm moved to settle across the back of his hips as he shifted the weight of his arm to her shoulder, eagerly closing the space between them once more while they followed the hostess to their table. Bri was glad he had requested an table away from the crowded inner sanctum of the resturant. Sure, it was nice and the staff seemed to be doing their best to make all the guests comfortable, but being surrounded by countless strangers was not the maiden's idea of a delightful meal experience. Disappointment sunk her spirts an inch as he pulled a chair out for her before moving to sit in a corresponding seat directly across the way. Gaze followed his, staring curiously at the stage being set up and the empty space in front of it before his question drew jade pools back to her companion, lids blinking over surfaces for a moment as she processed the words because she had not been paying much attention at the time he had spoken. It did not take her long to comprehend, however, and lips pursed slightly, wondering what sort of answer he was digging for. Did Dario want to hear every hope the lass entertained for the entirety of her life or was a more general answer to be more readily accepted? Unsure of which, the girl decided to take the safest root, countenance no longer reflecting her thoughtful state as stare met masculine features. I want to accomplish living as much as I can. To see everything I can while I can and experience whatever this world can offer me more than once over. Donning a rather sheepish smile and feeling a little silly for her answer, chin dropped, fingers pushing a packet of sugar around on the tabletop. I'm not exacally ambitious. I have no area to get ahead in, really. I doubt I will ever own a buisness or hold a job. Living is really all I have. Why not do my best at it?

The man was skilled in ignoring the rest of the people in the restaurant to focus solely on the only one that meant anything to him, after all he was an old hat at these sorts of things. He had been out to dinner with many different people, not only girls though. Most of the girls he had been involved with had been ones that you did not take to dinner. It was a privilege to be deemed worthy for him to want to go out in public with you. It was rather quiet outside though compared to the inside of the restaurant. The outside the voices seemed to travel out into the space on the outside of the porch which was nice. The night was just starting to cool now and the sun was no longer gleaming on the different parts of the terrain in order to warm it. Azure optics remain straight forward locked on her gaze indicating that she had his full and undivided attention. The waitress then stepped forward to take their drink order since you did not get it from the buffet that was set up on the inside. After she had stated her order he told the woman he wanted a coke. He was a sucker for the sugary beverage since he was a vampire he did not drink alcohol since it had no effect on him but the tasty soda was a nice change to the water he tended to limit himself to when he was at home. Well his temporary home since he never really took the time to settle anywhere for too long. He had a feeling though he better get used to this small town since he knew that he would be staying here for quite awhile. As long as it was safe for both of them, with a vampire came an automatic danger that seemed to stalk him. He would not allow himself to stay if he would put her in danger, so he would have to be sure to be as careful as possible. If you had the chance to leave and live a normal life would you? It was a rather deep question to be asking her though he was curious. Perhaps she did not know anything different from what she had been taught in the borders of the forest all these years so she did not believe that she was missing all that much in her life. This made him want to take her away from this world even more so. Perhaps there would come a time when he would be allowed and he would not even hesitate in that. He stood. Offering the girl his arm. Its self serve, they have a table set up in the inside of the restaurant. He explained, not too sure if she knew that a buffet was. He stepped into the warmth of the room once again and in one end it was a little more lit so that you were able to see what you were putting on your plate before it settled on the porcelain. There was a large variety of food and steaming plate beneath large heat lamps and he paused to grab both of them a plate and hand her hers. He put some salad on his plate, for good measure even though it was not at all appealing to the vampire, nor did it have any good nutrition for him, Stupid rabbit food. A piece of roast beef was also placed on his plate along with a few other things before he waited for her to be finished before heading over to the table to sit back down after waiting for her to be finished. He felt a moment of vulnerability. So in your life plan did you ever think you would be dining with a vampire? He spoke quiet enough that she would be the only one that would hear the statement.

Speech was followed up with the arrival of their waitress, politely asking both for their drink orders. Smiling sweetly at her, the lass asked for an iced tea after only a second of inner deliberation between the choices of tea and water. Head tilted curiously, an amused expression dancing across facade at the male's choice of drink: soda. It was a surprising revelation. That he enjoyed the sugar loaded, bubbly beverages had not been quite expected by her. She found their taste far too sweet for regular consumption and this along with her determination at keeping to a healthy diet, allowed only very scarce indulgence. But, no two people were exactly alike and she doubted her dinner date had to take as refined care of his body as she did her own for, he was, after all, living dead. Emeralds averted back to the smooth tan wood surface of the table at his question, seat shifting from side to side, expressing her uncertainty. Yes, I would leave given the opportunity, but I couldn't stay away forever. I'm not satisfied with the life I have here, yet, it's the only life I've known. My life can never be 'normal.' My duty to the tribe makes it so. Gaze rose once more to meet the male's, the yearning to see places she had not with him burning anew within. Metal screeched against concrete as the girl moved to join him, causing her to flinch and pause, arms moving behind her to lift the chair legs from the ground and move it backwards so she could leave the table. As she took his arm, head nodded in understanding at his explanation. Self serve was self-explanitory and Bri was able to part from his side with confidence the moment the table came into view. Soft spoken thank you was uttered as she took the plate from him, liquids scanning over the food presented as she chose carefully what she wanted to consume. Returning to the table after him with a grilled chicken breast, seasoned squash with cheese and carrots, the lass glanced at what he had picked for his own meal and smirked with amusement at seeing the salad. Watching your weight? Lyrics joke while mass sank back into the seat, remembering her past mistakes and lifting the chair to move closer to the edge of their eating surface before settling within it by wiggling her hips backwards some. Leaning forward, hand picked up the fork she had placed on top of the plate along with the food, using the side to slice the chicken into sections as it could be done without the necessity of a knife. Prongs had already been stuck into a piece of meat and was bringing it to her parted lips as the man's whisper broke through the air, causing her to pause. Smiling a little, chin tilted upwards, expression exposed to him while she replied. No, I cannot say I forsaw this, but I think it is a good impromtu. The lady tried to hold the grin as long as she could, daring herself to continue staring at her companion until a twinge of heat was felt upon cheek bones, causing attention to instantly drop to her meal, fork lifting the rest of the way to deposite the chicken. Kissers and teeth closed around the metal as the instument was pulled out of her mouth, casually decending to this time to stick some of the squash. She could not tell him why it was she had never in her life invisioned herself eating dinner with a vampire. It was not because she had not known they existed; she had, nearly her entire life whether conciously or not. That same duty which bound her to the lands was the reason this surreal event had seemed impossible even after she had met him. She had been Choosen as the Guardian; protector of her people and the spirits they co-existed with in the forest's boundries. As much as it caused her stomach to churn at the thought now, it was her job to dispel the wood of any supernatural beings which were probable to wreak havoc, including those that walked with the night. Of course, she was still in training and doubted, even if she wanted to, that she could kill Dario with merely the help of her other half, but unhindered by her human counterpart, Caza would accomplish the task she had been assigned to for centuries, even if it brought an end to the mortal.

Before they stood to go to get their food a small sip was taken of his drink. Eyes wander along he restaurant, it was a modern and tasteful place though it was not elaborate enough to make you feel under dressed, after all he was simply wearing a pair of jeans held on the mans waist with a thick ebony belt, a white polo shirt covered with a soft Raulph Lauren pull over sweater, a normal days attire for the man. He took interest in nice clothes since he believed that first appearances were everything and you never knew when you were going to meet someone that might be of importance later on in life. though he had not been looking to meet possible clients for quite a long time. The odd side job had been performed during the years though he had lost the spark that drew him to the blood lust of hunting a person down. There was no denying though that the cunning male had not lost the touch, never was there a witness, never slipping up, he knew it would be the end of his life as well as career if he did. Immortality was nothing with what the bosses were capable of. Automatically eyes shift to a newcomer onto the balcony, no suspiciouns were held though and he allowed his gaze to then fall to her. A predator's instinct since the only time the prey would be able to defeat them was to have an upperhand, this would never be allowed and while he could force himself to forget his previous duties the instincts lay to deep within the man. The immortals in this side of town seemed to be few and far between which was appealing to him since that left more space for him, when there was more then a few he always worried about the younger ones clumsy mistakes that could lead to them all being found out. It was not a nice thought and part of the reasons why he always kept moving, nothing was left to chance. His life was perfectly calculated, all a part of the equation, though somehow he had never been able to anticipate meeting Bri, she threw him for a loop. He was able to understand when she told him that her life could never be normal since it was the same for him. It was not as though he would ever be able to fully open up to someone and indulge them in the horrors first hand, he would always have to keep himself hidden and under wraps, he nodded when she spoke and it was allowed to be forgotten as he then returned from the tables that held the food to take his seat where she was already seated, chair scraped against the tiles laid on the floor and halfway out he lifted the chair so the racket did not bother either of them. She then made a comment about the salad that had been placed on his plate. He did not like the food so perhaps it was an attempt to impress her, even though he could eat as much as he want and truly not gain an ounce since his metabolism was simply to high. After all you never did see a fat vampire. Mock horror crossed his face in a gentle teasing manner as eyes were allowed to widen at her words. Of course I am. You are lucky I am not sensitive. Deep chuckles flow forth in a warm manner. A small smile lingering on kissers. The food was then address and napkin was placed politely in his lap as cutlery was unwound from the place where it had sat on the table. He was silent for the time that he polished off the salad and moved to the more tastier components of the meal knowing that he would need the rest of the food to wash the taste out of his mouth. As soon as he was finished he knew that he would not be able to eat another plate and it was placed at the end of the table for the waitress when she chose to come by and a small sigh passed through kissers before relaxing against the back of the seat. The music was now flitting around the small area it was slow and relaxing and a ton of people had already stepped from their chairs and started to dance in the middle of the floor and he could not help it he stood palm outstretched to her. Dance with me. He stated quietly with a small smile.

Skeptical look was shot across the table at the male, the fea glancing up from her plate at the comment. Releasing a short snort of disbelief, weight shifted backwards, spine resting against the chair while fingers twirled the fork around within their grip. Oh, I think you are sensative. You just try to hide it behind that mysterious, sexy persona you have adopted. Grinning smuggly, the position was held for a moment longer before light laughter burst forth and she sat forward, resumming eating the food left upon her plate, again consenting unconciously to the silence that streched between them as they both ate. The light from the sun had faded completely by then, leaving the lantern lights hanging from the building's roof and the dim floresant lights of the light poles around the fencing of the pavilion to be the only things offering sources of light. Not that it mattered to them, however. Both had enhanced senses, including night-vision. Something that should be expected, with predators that were ment to hunt within the shadows. The many number of things they had in common was intriguing and quite surprising, but, of course, they had their multiple differences which far exceeded the amount of similarities. These were the hardest to ignore and, at times, the most disheartening instances to ignore for the lady. As the maiden finished off her chicken, the glanced upwards, noticing the male had already finished off what was on his plate. Startling, she looked back to her own meal, judging there to be perhaps two bites of carrots and three bites of squash left before she herself was finished. She had started to eat again at a much faster pace when he stood, drawing eyes from the table to his tall stature, chewing slowing to an almost stand still. At his polite request, Bri swallowed all of what food was lift in her palate, looking a little uncomfortable as she shifted in her chair, body facing him, but figure not yet rising to stand with him. After debating for a short moment, the girl stood, looking a little embaressed as she took a step closer and leaned forward, lips beside ear to whisper I have never danced before. Returning to a natural stance, she looked at him with apprehension, wondering where they went from there.

The food really seemed to hit the spot tonight. Settling into his insides as if it was supposed to be there, even though with the vampiric being it really was not. It did not make him feel sick, just not too much different then before he had eaten, if he ate everyday like a normal human though he did not feel like crap when he did choose to eat it was as if his body decided that it was alright though the moment that he skipped a couple meals it would feel as though the food was a leaden weight in the pitt of his gut and he would never want to eat again though food was one of the things that ensure that the bloodlust was kept under control and it even started to make the time between feedings longer so that was one of the reasons for him to force himself to eat. He would not bore her with this though even though she might find it interesting since she seemed to find anything to do with the vampire lifestyle very intruiging. They had both finished their plates. Sexy? I like being called sexy. He wore a small smirk now and eyes were twinkling with playfulness as he spoke. She started to look nervous when he asked her to dance, well demanded that she danced with him was closer to the reality. She told him that she had never danced before and a reassuring smile crossed the males features. Don't worry dear, I have danced enough for the both of us. Coy grin settled on features before palm was placed in hers and fingers fell between her own locking her hand to his grip before pulling her in the direction of the dance floor. Plus who would care if anyone saw them since the vast majority of the people here were much older and too consumed by eachother to notice much else. To her luck though they would start out easy as a slow song flitted through the air between the two of them. Arms were naturally wound around the girls waist holding her delicate frame against his dwarfing one. The music was entrancing and the room seemed to fall into a quiet lull and all the people remaining at their tables seemed to sense the need for the people on the dance floor to be left in peace. Chassis moved with ease to the gentle tune swaying softly easy for her to keep up with the motions. He did not pull her close enough that she would have no choice but to be pressed against him though he was not about to discourage this. Comfortable with her being this near to him.

But. .. She said, about to protest again before he took her hand in his, not allowing her to deter dancing any longer. Feeling a small blush creep upon her cheek as her partner twirled her around to face him before wrapping arms around her waist, his feet already moving naturally to the music as if he was born moving the same way. Taking a deep breath, the girl put forth the effort to settle into the rhythm the band and the man set, hands tentatively resting on broad shoulders, all to well aware of the hard muscles beneath her touch. Swallowing hard, emerald orbs were turned towards the floor, watching their feet move, praying she did not stumble and accidentally step on his shoe. Normally, she was one of the most balanced and coordinated women in her tribe, but somehow this talent was lost whenever the male was around. His presence made her nerves jump at every little action, bringing about a nervousness she had never encountered before, even around the few other guys she had spent any sort of time around. It was a mixture of uncertainty and boldness that over came her with him; both conflicting nearly at every turn of the evening. Slowly, as the song drew to its end, Bri's confidence started to build the longer they swayed together, figure relaxing in Dario's arms although eyes had yet to leave the floor. Just when she talked herself into looking upwards at him, her foot stepped a little too forward, landing not just on the toe of the man's show, but nearly on the complete top. Facade twisted into one of horror and she jumped back instantly, hands lifting to cover mouth, glad the strains had died out of the air at that moment. I am so sorry. I was afraid I would do that. I'm no good at much of anything. Teeth chewed on lower lip as she forced herself to shut up then, standing there at the edge of the dance floor for a long moment, unwilling to meet the bloke's gaze. I'm sorry. Lyrics muttered again as frame turned, the lass starting to head back to their table, wishing she could kick herself. Here was this kind man, gladly towing her around town to an ice cream shop, an aquarium, and a restaurant for dinner and dancing and she had to go and ruin it with the stupid mistake of stepping on his foot. Sometimes her life really sucked.

She instantly protested though she gave in the moment that she was forced out of her seat. A coy smile falling on features as she was dragged in the direction of the dancefloor through she seemed hesitant when they reached there and she was staring at her feet as though she was so worried about stepping on him and eyes were rolled in their sockets it was not as though he minded even if it did happen. The music was quite slow so the beat was easy though it was easy to see how nervous and tense she was. Just relax Bri, its just dancing, its supposed to be fun, dear. He spoke with a small chuckle. The deep rumbling was relaxing and good natured. Digits trail along her spine running along the curvature of her back though stopping before he even reached her lower back, manners always seemed to provail with him. Mood would be close to blissful being with the girl right now, he would not imagine a place that he would rather be, then it all started to unwind. She stepped on his foot, something he would not have even thought of but it affected her in a way he would never have expect. She instantly dropped her arms from around him and took a step back as if he had some sort of electric shock that stunned her, he took steps to follow her in the way she had moved to the edge of the dance floor. Ooh, oww I am dying Bri. Eyes were rolled sarcastically in their sockets No apologizing its fine. Arms were wrapped tightly around her so she was not able to escape to wherever she was planning on going. Being this close to her was contagious and it was right there that his mind finally was submissive to the fact that he knew he was falling for her, hard. He knew her feelings were strong for him as well though he was not about to scare her away by telling her this. He did not know her quite well enough to know how the innocent girl would take to hearing that a vampire was falling head over heels for her. So many factors contributed to this, the fact he was jealous of her innocence, her kind and selfless attitude in which she tried so hard to please everybody but herself, her personality that was growing on him by the minute that they spent together, the soft jade optics that looked in his direction in such wonder about him, she always was so curious about him and treated him as if he was the most interesting man in the world not the villian that he was, not to mention that she was very easy on the eyes, he was equally as physically attracted to her. As arms were wrapped around her he pulled her to his chest, knees bent slightly to lift her into his arms, not caring who in the restaurant was watching even though he knew they were mostly focused on the other parties and they would go unnoticed. Pushing back the hair by her ear kiss was placed on the upper part of her neck with a small smile, allowing her back down to her feet now that he was convinced she would not make a run from him. I won't force you to dance anymore tonight. He did not release her hand as steps then carry him in the direction of their table, the waitress had already spotted him and he passed her a card before waiting for the reciept that he knew he would have to sign before they exitted the building. Suprisingly the clouds had started to gather when they were in the restaurant and it looked as though it would rain any moment, it was starting to get late though and he knew that he should get her back to her house. Before the nightlife came out, she was not ready for that, so strides carry him in the direction of where they had come from.

She wished she could just take his words as he gave them and allow the tension to release from her body but that seemed almost impossible. So much around her was new: him, the resturaunt, the town, dancing, the music and the atmosphere were all causing a massive overload of the fatal's senses. Muscles were figety with anxiety and she hardly knew what to do in order to rid herself of such electricity. A part of her wanted to keep all this excitment; to cherish it and the thrill of adrenaline that coursed through her veins because it some how felt familar. Not even hunting could obtain such rewarding responses from the fea's body as the time she spent with the male secured. They were moving slow, but to her it felt as if the train was about to run off the tracks at any moment and the close proximety in addition to her apprehension of dancing were only adding fuel to the flame. Frustration and relief flooded her when she stepped on his foot, muddling throughts until they were incomprehensible. Head spun, heartbeat fluttered wildly, and steps were uncoordinated as she stepped away, deaf to the world around her until his sarcastic tones filled the air. With a slightly angered expression, she made the mistake of turning around to smack him across the chest, palm colliding with the solid mesoderm tissue of his pec an instant before he lifted her from the ground. How dare you-! She started before a squeak of surprise and protest cut off the rest of the sentance, all reason for being mad at him fading away at the pleasure of being in his grasp. No longer did she care that he teased her for one of her insecurities because in his arms, there was a new strength to be found. Fingers danced lightly across the spread of Dario's shoulders, her own arms wrapping around behind his neck as a reflex when he picked her up from the ground. Resisting the urge to squeel again, Bri simply clung to him, feeling the blush crawl upon her cheek, feeling as if every eye in the establishment was suddenly turned upon them when in reality the other guests could careless. Heart melted when his large hand brushed her hair away from her neck, the gesture so gentle it nearly made her giddy with joy. This vampire, this man, was far to well mannered for her. He touched her just enough to spread warmth throughout her figure, but kept himself checked when other men would have taken full advantage of her complacity. The lass was not good enough for him, not for this bloke, experienced in the world and all it's mirth and horror. Too innocent, inexperienced and vulenerable was she. Partners should be equals and the lady could not begin to consider herself as a peer to her companion. She felt like a child, someone the baron had to look after everytime he did the gentlemanly thing as he had been taught to do. It was not his fault, not really. None could be blamed for the span of time between them, the lack of her knowledge base. But she could not let him go; could not let the fantasy of being with him fade into the graveyard of dreams. He was so right for her and they fit so perfectly, did the complications of life outweight this? The maiden could not contain the gasp jerked from her mouth by his lips on her neck, the wonder of the motion bringing wide spread emerald orbs to meet azure pools promptly as he set her down. Silently, she let him lead her away back towards the table, grip upon his hand steady while they weaved through the various groups at their own respective tables on departure from the dancefloor. Funny, now she had an aching for him to wrap her in his arms again and force her to dance, but perhaps that could come another time. Glance was taken back towards the couples still dancing on the cleared hardwood floor, noticing how close the pairs were with one another as they swayed and wishing she could do the same so easily. Attention returned to the lord as the waitress came back with their tab before either ever bothered to take a seat. Bri waited paitently while he signed his name across the line at the bottom of one of the sheets of paper and handed it back to the other woman and she took off to take care of other customers, leaving them to exit the resuraunt on their own. I want to learn how to dance. Lyrics inform him as she flashed a quick, determined expression in his direction before starting off, pulling him towards the inside and the front door they had come in through. Happy to be back out on the streets, the essa continued with a quick and regulated step in the direction of the forest. Excited as she was to return home after a night of observing the life of humans, she dreaded it also, knowing he would not accept her offer to remain in her home with her for the night and she could not beg for him to. Even women with hardly any dating experience had some pride. Pace slowed the closer they got, chin turning to allow a glimpse to be risked behind her, making sure he was still following although the palm still pressed against her own should have served as enough of a reassurance. She did not stop walking until they were within the forest, close to her house, but not quite there. In the middle of a small clearing with the cresant moon offering little light from above the height of the canopy, the damsel turned and faced him, head held high as she took a deep breath. Can you teach me without music?

She seemed offended as he joked with her and her hand hit him square in the chest and if he had not deserved it he would have uttered an 'ouch' even though when in reality it felt like nothing more then a fly landing. She uttered the words 'how dare you' and a small smirk crawled up features, especially when she seemed to completely forget about the ordeal as he drew her into his arms. A stunning grin crossing features, enjoying the sensation of being so close to her. It was true that they could not have been more different though that seemed to draw them nearer together. The innocence of the girl held a huge appeal for the man and it seemed to work the opposite way for her, she seemed to be entranced with the man's knowledge and experience in the world. He was well mannered that was for sure though he knew that like any other male there was only so much that he would be able to take until the hormones would run wild, he was close to hitting the line right now until he allowed her back to her feet and turned his attention back to the restaurant and signing the small slip that was tucked into his pocket. She lagged behind him slightly when they left the restaurant looking back onto the dance floor almost as if she wanted a second chance. Had he read her wrong? She seemed as though she wanted to leave and not be back on the floor. Brow was arched slightly though he did not comment since she followed him willingly after that. It was comical since he was thinking the same that she was, that the girl was much too good for him. The being of innocence and purity should not be giving her affections to a being that was so condemned as he was. She then told him that she wanted to learn to dance. Anytime you want I will teach you. She then seemed to take the lead and drag him in the direction of the forest, she seemed to know exactly where she was going, perhaps a photographic memory. She seemed to be on a mission now and dragging him, though he just lengthened his stride to keep up. She paused once they reached a small clearing and she asked if he would be able to teach her without music. Head was dipped in a small nod as a smile overcame features. Take my hand, and just follow me. He stated quietly offering his left hand extended out to her to be carried a little out between them, different then in the restaurant, other arm was extended to pull her close to him, the space between them quickly disappearing, palm pressed on her back lightly to urge her closer to him. Breath even caught in his throat at the close proximity, gaze lost within the girls eyes, though he forced himself to focus, this was about dancing, not chemistry. He moved easily and he knew that she would be able to do the same as soon as she was relaxed and maintaining the small rythm he had formed in his head he lifted her arm. Just allow your body to spin. Arm was raised above her head and arm was extended allowing her to spin away from him, the next motion brought her back to him, facing away, and arms wrapped around her completely forgetting the dancing. Ivories grasp his lip quite harshly. Bri, you have no idea how you test my self control. Every part of me just wants to give in. Vocals were deep and rich and murmered to her ear hot breath dancing across her neck. Frame was shifted so that she was back facing him, forehead was lowered to her height to rest against her own. Bri, I tried so hard not to, but I am falling for you, you deserve so much better.
