He watched as the lady shook her head in disagreement and then spoke her mind, gaze directing away from him then. A sad, small smile formed on his features, choosing not to reply for they would never be able to concur, even if they could understand the other's side. Yes, he believed along with her that the suffering would normally make one stronger and wiser, but he couldn't help but wonder to himself. Could he have been stronger and wiser with the help of his family than he had become on his own? There were some many things still unknown to him, such as the ways of people, which the lord knew his parents could have helped his brother and he to adjust to. Instead, he was forced to feel foolish as someone mechioned a subway and he had to ask what it was then become totally confused all over again as someone else used it in another context and suddenly the one word ment two different things. He left his thoughts as she drew his attention with a question, handing over the drawling as she did it. Dome nodded, lips parting as the bloke looked up from from the paper at the lass. Yes, dragon wings. Vocals hesitated then, eyes returning to the paper. The male wanted to speak further on the subject, but was unsure if she truely cared to hear it for he had never said so much about himself to a person like he had to Faerie. Not even to Sensei had G'rzeth been so open. Fingers started to fold his mother's picture again and place it back into his wallet as the drake made up his mind. It is another reason I'm come to the city. I've heard there is someway to get a picture on your skin. This paper is old and cannot last forever. I want to keep the wings with me always. Bleached depths looked up again, the wallet falling to his lap with a hand clutching it. He didn't want to ask her yet, but he had come to hope that the maiden would go with him to get the art on his body. Asking could wait for later as now he wanted to know her past and was not disappointed as she offered it without him having to request it, jaw clenching at her explaining the abusiveness of her first love. Zeth was certainly old fashion, but that had nothing to do with his thoughts on men who hit women. It was low, unforgivable, wrong and a sure weakness for someone of his sex to strike a member of the opposite. If he could, the baron would find every man who had ever done so and show him just how helpless the other really was, but sadly, there were too many in the world and even if he did live a longer life than was expected by mortal terms, the shifter may never stop the revolting abuse. He forced the subject from his mind, listening to the rest of the story with a stone face, processing all that she told him and instantly feeling again the urge to hold her. Now the gent understood why she had been so negative in the club, so severe on him. It was nothing personal, but rather that she did not trust his gender. Without thinking, the man reacted, the hand closest to the fea lifting, the side of bent pointer finger touching the underside her chin lightly, urging the girl to look at him. It is not foolish to fall in love. Perhaps it is true that one is blind in love, but for a little while is it not best to see the good in everyone? Do not give up on it Faerie. When you feel it most, it will not betray you. He wasn't sure when these words had come from or why he felt such a urgent need to say them to her, but he did know the wonders of love. His parents had shown it everyday when they had lived. Often times they had danced to music as the boys watched and G'rzeth had seen them sit in his fathers old chair in front of the fireplace at night when they thought the childern asleep and simply talk. They didn't need much and money was never an issue. Although it may seem like a naïve outlook, but the bloke believed that their disreguard for the so called "need" of material things was a product of his parents love.

He wanted to get a tatto of it... Of the dragon wings. She thought it was a good idea. Yet she wondered just exactly drew her in about the dragon wings. She didn't ask, for it sounded foolish, especially if it was just some design that came up and his mother doodled down. She trid not to show her emotions when she explained, but it was hard to do. She didn't hesitate... Once he turned her chin towards him she threw her arms around him. She trusted him, after all, no one ever heard all of this before, no one ever heard the whole story, and she had it off her chest now, had someone she could lean on right? She liked to think of it that way, she hoped he wouldn't dump her, wouldn't leave her here, feeling stupid to have trusted again. She wanted to believe in the words he said. But she couldn't. How could she let it happen again, what if it wasn't enough and she was stabbed in the heart again. She let out a sigh and just shook her head, still embracing him for comfort, knowing he knew her pain... Knowing he had it just as bad or worse. I dunno about that one... Then again look at him, she was trusting him... Trusting him and talking to him, something she rarely did, something very unusual for her to ever think of doing. She pulled away and brushed away a tear that seemed to fall somewhere in that scene. Sorry... She murmured, fixing herself back up and glancing over at him. She wanted to clear the whole subject, clear her emotions, and so she thought back to the wings. So, you want to get a tattoo huh? I heard they hurt. Where are you going to get it? She glanced over him, over his skin which seemed so perfect without any body art, but she knew this had to mean a lot to him and once more she was wondering why, wanting to know for she was oh so curious. Do they... Stand for something? Was her next simple question. If he asked she'd go with him, no doubt there, though she might end up fainting while there. Her and needles never worked out and at the sight she tended to drop. Perhaps she'd be okay, after all, it wouldn't be her the needles would be puncturing, right?

One thing the lord had not been expecting was the lass to suddenly, and without warning, throw her arms around him as he spoke in reply to her description of her past and so it was quite understandable that he was stunned. For a moment, his mind could not process anything and so he sat there like a dummy, scrambling to break through the barriers he had built to protect himself against this exact thing. Over the years since his parents death, no one had been allowed to get close to the male and his remote living had helped with that. He had never taken the chance of getting to know or coming in physical contact with anyone whom could become someone he cared about for he knew naught of how he would react or cope with another loss like his parents and brother. But now, G'rzeth forced himself to ignore what he had believed before. Was Faerie not taking the same chance trusting him? Finally, the curcuits seemed to come online again and arms folded around her, holding her as she needed, lids closing while he let the lass be. Her mumbled words were caught loud and clear by his sensitive ears and to them he shook his head, allowing her to pull away, his hand still on her side, before speaking. I do. What is the point in life if you believe love will always leave you lying, broken, on the floor? That is nothing to look forward to. Crown again shook as he dismissed her apology, acting as if he didn't notice her wipe the tear from her cheek. There is nothing you need be sorry for. If I had minded, I doubt you would not know. Palm slid off her jacket and elbow lifted to rest on his knee once more, facade a picture of paitence, watching as she turned away slightly, gathering herself again. Understanding smile met the fea's change in subject back to the wings his mother had drawn, the bloke taking only a moment to think over his answers. Yes, a tattoo. I believe that's what sensei called it. The pain doesn't bother me. I have quite a high level of tolerance and I was thinking of getting it on my back, like real wings. Strange, he had never talked about his plan with anyone, only having merely discussed tattoos with his Akindo instructor after seeing the chinese dragon the other man had on his shoulder, and discussing it now with the maiden made his anxious and excited, the possibility of the plan becoming a reality suddenly seeming real. Then she asked a question he had not even bothered to worry about, surprising him out of the blue which caused him to scurry for an answer. Despite all they had talked about, Zeth reasoned that coming out and saying, 'well, I turn into a dragon,' would not be a very good straitegy if he wanted her to not go running away as fast as she possibly could thinking he was a freak, but he also didn't want to lie to her. Lips pursed as he tried to sort out how he wanted to answer. Stand for something, not really, but they are significant. The reason for this, you wouldn't believe me if I told you and you would think me crazy.

She loved have someone to cry on, ahving someone to be there. This was the closest anyone had ever been with her, the truth spilled out and by the time it did she was thankful for she now had something off her chest and she had someone to talk to, someone who would listen, someone who understood the pain she did and she felt something strange inside her, but she pushed it away, refusing to let her emotions get to her. He was a friend... Right? She just met him today but he was... If anything she thought of him as more, not to mention that wierd feeling she got. Eyes ran over him thinking of the tattoo on his back. She thought that would be nice, and yet there she was, wanting to know what this whole wing thing was, he just admitted it was something. Eyes looked at his, an almost pleading look there, hoping to win this. He could tell her, she trusted him, more than that in fact, because within these few moments Faerie for once didn't feel so alone and hurt, she didn't even feel like Faerie anymore. I won't make you tell me, but I wish you would... I think I'll believe. After all, what was the worse it could be? His mom collected butterfly wings, believed in faeries? Suddenly the wings made her think of her own mother. That had been why her mother named her what she did... Faerie. She said that Faeries weren't always what they seemed to be in tales... That they were beautiful in their own way, mischevious, yet some kind, they were simply unpredictable... Her mom said she was different all the time, that she was like a faerie, so very smart, cunning, and beautiful. However she begged to differ. She was far from one, she was no faerie. She realized she had paused and had been staring at nothing for quite some time, shaking her head and glancing back over at him, wondering if he would ever tell her, if not she guessed she wouldn't blame him totally, some things people just never said or admitted.

Icy gaze met hers, a small frown creasing the skin along the male's brow, mind so completely focused that it simply happened without him knowing. After a long moment, pools turned away, jaw tightening. There were only two opions. One, he could tell her the truth and risk loosing her or keep it a secret, thereby protecting her in a way, but also hurting her feelings. Lids slid over surfaces, hearing the words the lass spoke, but remaining unresponsive. It simply wasnt that easy for him. What he was.... had been hidden from everyone in the world besides three and they were now gone from the lord's life. Part of him still wrestled with that. He could have tried to save them that day, could have done SOMETHING, but his control had been nonexistant then. When the fire caught on the house, the boy he was had managed to get outside and surrounded by flames, the beast had taken over. It had been one of the first times G`rzeth had ever undergone the change and as so, it was also one of the more painful ones. Nothing but his own safety had mattered after the dragon had become the leader. The teenager hadnt even realized what was happening until after he became human again, passed out in a cave that was far enough from the forest floor that he was safe from the disaster. He didnt regain conciousness until it was too late. After that, the bloke had changed, determined to be the one in control next time he transformed and although now the majority of the time he was, his other half's mind had developed just as his had over the years and at times, Zeth was unsure of who was really in control or what would happen in another situation like the fire. Exposed orbs turned towards the lady again, dismissing his memories and what ifs as chest lifted in an almost defeated sigh. The dragon wings my mother drew, they are mine. I can... change into the form whenever I wish and sometimes, when I become really emotional or in a dangerous situation. Sad eyes watched the fea for her reaction, body tense, braced for whatever was to come. It was a strange concept to grasp and even though Faerie had told him she thought she would believe what he said, the man would not hold it against her if it turned out that the vixen could not understand. Suddenly, he realized that even though he would be alone again if she left, the drake would be thankful too for she had understood a lot of what he had told her about his past and had been there to listen. Strangely, that was really all he needed. Perhaps he felt stripped and a small part of him was panicing at that, yet it had not been as hard to expose himself as he would have expected after six years. The shifter no longer felt the need to be so secretive or shut off from everyone else and now would not keep anything from the fatal if she asked for more.

What was it about those eyes that sent something through her everytime she laid eyes on them? She bit her lip and looked away, not wanting to seem a fool, not wanting to be seen staring or something... After all, no way was she was going to lose the only one she was so close to. Clearing her throat she listened. At first she thought it would be something like "My mom used to draw dragons... My mom used to tell me they were real..." But it was nothing like that. She couldn't understand... He was... A dragon? A shifter? Okay, she hated to be rude, but had he lost it? Or was he truly telling the truth here? She didn't know what to say, didn't know how to take him. He was so serious though. You... You aren't pulling my leg are you? Because I am not finding it funny if you are... She wanted to fully understand him, wanted to show she supported him even if it was off the wall. Eyes ran over him, wondering how he could think of himself as being one of those fire breathing ancient tales... A dragon, who could guess something like that. She took a deep breath and stood up, still leaning against the tree, kicking at some dirt and then glancing down at him. Don't ask me how, but I somehow believe you. She stretched a moment and then kneeled back down, hesitantly placing hand on his shoulder, for his sad eyes had hurt in a way, had made her feel the sadness of not being understood. I trust you. I may end up a fool but I do... I' behind you one hundred percent if you want me to be. She took it well she thought, for she had been shocked at first, but she was hiding the little inch of her that was still questioning him well. Even if this was some made up fantasy, she would agree, for she didn't want to lose him, not lose the one she trusted, the one who she felt somehow connected to now.

Orbs saw the doubt in the lass's features that the lord had expected to be there, but a pang of disappointment still found its way into him. He knew it shouldn't be there. He shouldn't have been hoping for so much from her especially since she was mortal and as such knew nothing outside of the world in which she had lived. Childern were also taught that dragons and other mythical beings were myths, stories made up by entertainers of the past to dazzle adults and youngin's alike. It was hard for people to change their though upon a false fact that that been planted in their mind since their youth as the truth. Frown creased features, head tilted in a confused manner at her words. Pulling your leg? Why on earth would I do that? That would not be funny anyway, even if I was meaning to be. The man had no idea what relation pulling the lady's leg had to do with what he had just told her, but perhaps it had a different meaning than the literate? G'rzeth continued to watch the fea, seeing that she was trying to understand, but knew that Faerie wasn't totally convinced. He started to think of a way to reassure her and she stood up, bleached pools glancing upwards, but masculine frame remained on the sod, allowing her the space she seemed to be searching for, rather it be a concious or unconcious choice. Chin lift and gaze found her facade in the dark as she spoke, following her movement as the maiden slid down to the ground again, hand resting on his shoulder before speaking again. You are not a fool. I am honored to have your trust. Let me show you. At this, the baron's hand reached for hers that was on his shoulder, pulling it downard to rest on her leg as his position shifted, right hip now against the crust with the leg that was against the ground folded underneath the other. Zeth didn't bother to explain to her and it never occured to him what she would be thinking, but his surfaces stared into hers, their intensity growing if that were even possible as the blokes breathing increased, lids hardly blinking as slowly, his eyes started to change. The iris's were the first to change, the blue fading even further into the background as more of a hightlight color as more streaks of ivory extended from the outer edges of his eyes. Once this ended, the pupil transformed, the round shape being pulled outwards into a straightline like someone had pinched it from both the right and left sides to do so. When the change ended, the pair looked more akin to a cats than they had the humans that had previously occupied the pits, but no one could mistake the ancient aura they gave off. No mere feline was staring at the fatal from the man's mask, but instead it were a different kind of hunter, one of the first to ever fly upon the wind's gusts and scower the forests. The beast's eyes remained dominant for a few moments, but then their light seemed to fade and the drake pulled away, hand leaving hers as shades shut over liquids, the eyes beneath returning to normal. Palm braced against the ground after the male was again fully human and newly exposed gems lifted to watch the vixen's face, curious as to what her reaction would be.

It wasn't that she didn't want to believe him, but come on, a dragon shifter? Those were things you heard of and wanted to believe in when you were five, thinking of the evil dragon and your prince coming to save you, the princess. However, just a year later your mother, father, brother, or sister would ruin it for you. Fae hadn't really been told they were not real, but reality had indeed dawned on her at a young age. Her mother passed when she was only six, and in fact by the time she was dying Faerie was more the adult than her mother. her mother had a thing too, and that was obviously faeries... She always went on about not limiting your imagination, that they really were out there, but what else was there to do when you were on your death bed and your six year old didn't know how to be a six year old, acted and went on as though she were eighteen and responsible for everything. His comment about pulling her leg made her smile just a bit. He really needed an update didn't he? Still, she figured she could explain it later, it really wasn't imprtant at the moment. She glanced at his hand and then an almost shock rolled over her. His eyes... They were... Were ike a cats, like nothing she never say before when it came to humans. Suddenly it was odd, because she wanted those ice blue eyes back. She took a deep breath though it came in as a quick and shocked intake of breath. What was there not to believe now? She watched as he pulled away as he came back, watched as he glanced over to see her reaction. Of course it was shocked, as much as she trusted him, she had never expected it. A shifter?... I, I never thought it was real. I should have believed you its just that... Fairie tales had always been fake, no one ever came to save her, no one ever came to help, to take her away to the castle in the sky, no, there was nothing but Faerie, drowning in what was around her. She closed her eyes and looked away, ashamed already at her so called 'trust'. If she had true trust then she wouldn't have thought he was a nut. Right? Sorry... was uttered yet again, leaning in closer to him, not wanting him to have pulled away. Was she scared? Oddly no. She should have been, but it seemed she was find with knowing him, a shifter who could probably kill her if he wanted to. Why? Because looking at him he hardly seemed the killing type. She was going to be understanding from now on, or at least try to be. She didn't want to lose him, no matter what or who he was, she knew he was Zeth and to her Zeth was the one who she could trust and lean on. How foolish... to trust someone in a day, but somehow he was different, a click she was unable to figure out just yet.

When G`rzeth saw the essa's face, he immediately felt selfish and stupid for not thinking before he had acted. He may have been used to the fact that he should change specific attributes such as his eyes, but Faerie had still been trying to get used to the idea of him being something that he should not have been able to be in a sane world. It was stupid to expect her to take it easily. Im sorry Faerie. I didnt think. Sad vocals whispered, bodice moving closer to hers and hand reached for her cheek which she had turned away from him. Thumb caressed her skin lightly, gaze trying to meet hers again. A small smile pulled across his lips at her apology, arms giving into the urge to wrap around her and pull her to his chest. Hold remained loose, however, letting the maiden know he would not trap her or make her feel as if she had to stay there. You do not need to be sorry. I know its a hard concept to grasp. It was even hard for me to believe when I first learned I could change, but its been so long I forgot what its like to have it hit you so hard after seeing it. The man decided then that he would not let the beast to the surface again around her unless she asked him too. He hadn't had one of his anger spells in nearly a year which was good because under those cercumstances the transformation would be unstoppable and even more tramatic for the girl if she was around. His Akindo training had really been a helper with learning to control his emotions. Nevertheless, should he warn her about his spontanious switches when his feelings got out of control? Lips pursed and the bloke was glad she could not see his face right then. The question brought another to his mind and heartbeat sped up just a bit at the thought. Would the lady even be around him enough in the future to have to worry about it? Of coarse, Zeth hoped that tonight would not the last time he saw her, but he didnt really know what the fea was thinking. Chest lifted in a nearly silent sigh. The lord needed to simply relax and let time go by as it did. There was still much to learn about her and much she had to learn about him. He would not tell her about the emotional triggers tonight. Later, if it ever became nessicarry to, the drake promised himself that he would tell her. There was too much information that he still had to learn about himself anyway and there was no need to confuse or shock the fatal even more tonight. Torso leaned away from hers then, resting against the tree's trunk again as orbs directed downwards towards her mask. Take your time absorbing it and feel free to ask me questions if you wish. I'll just warn you that I dont know a whole lot about shifters right now. Ive never actually met someone else like me.

She heard him and was glad he understood that she needed this to soak in, that it wasn't her trust in him that made her question. She didn't decline his touch, in fact she welcomed it, she wanted it. Why? Mostly because she wanted someone who could be there, that touch showed her it wasn't her imagination... Perhaps it was more, but she didn't dare let that settle in her thoughts or speak it, she did not need the hurt that would come if she did, the let down that would be just around the corner, she would not ruin this relationship... Perhaps it was just friendly but it was still one she didn't want to give up. It's okay. She whispered, resting there, forehead resting on his chest, letting her eyes close, taking the relief that came with comfort, came with him. Why was she so trusting with him? What was it she was thinking in that head? What were her emotions doing, all jumbled up, making it hard for even herself to figure them out. She wondered how long it had been... When he had found out he was a shifter... What would it be like to have someone tell you you were someone who could switch forms? Perhaps when one was small it might sound amazing, but right now she thought that it might not be the best life, there had to be some cons to everything right? She just wondered what they all were, if they were really all that bad. She definately wanted to know him more than today, heck, she didn't want to leave his presence, but soon she would have to part, to head to her little place, watch him walk off, sit, once more, alone in her apartment. She wouldn't think of it now though, instead she would seize this time, enjoy it. So, shifters like you are rare huh? She asked, just to say something to cover up the sudden pain as he pulled away. Oh it was tiny, but it was still felt. It was now official: dear Fae had lost her mind. Perhaps some internet research could bring something up... It would give her something to do while she sat alone. She got up and glanced down at him before back towards the town. As nice as sitting here is nice, I'm sort of hungry. Do you wanna grab a bite with me? If not it was fine, she'd see him some other time, but inside she was begging he'd say yes. She waited for some response, eyes searching for those ice blue ones in return. Perhaps they could have a nice little conversation on things like: what 'you're pulling my leg' really meant.

Lips pulled to one side at her question, debating how to answer it without sounding completely and utterly stupid or like he knew nothing about himself. Gaze was looking off in the distance, past the lass, past the part, past the tops of the trees and the buildings that still surrounded the little acove of nature here. Orbs were looking at the stars, picking out the few constallations he recongized and drawling lines in his mind between the glowing circles to form the picture he knew they made together. I don't really know. Everything I know about myself and my.... species, I learned myself. Reasoning tells me that we are rare since no one knows about people like me and Ive never met another in my lifetime, but I really can not say for certain. Only guess. Disappointed half smile turned to her, the lord wishing he was able to tell her more, to know more. He found it kind of sad really, his lack of knowledge about not just himself, but also the world he was surrounded in. Zeth knew enough about math, grammer and all the other things kids learned in school because of the books his parents had kept in their basement which had surprisingly survived the fire, yet he lacked in the area of recent times. His social skills could only have been considered current six years ago and a lot of things change over the span of six years. Perhaps if he could have rounged himself from the house in the woods the bloke would not feel so naive, and yet, he hadnt been able to leave the place until recently and so there was no reason to dwell on what might have been. Faerie's movement beside him pulled the man from his thoughts, bleached pools lifting to look up at her with a question in their depths. Grin pulled across kissers at her offer, arm pushing against the earth and longer limbs also using only a small amount of their strength to bring the lad to a stand beside the essa. Frown crossed features for a second as he pondered what she ment by grabbing a bite to eat, but he quickly dismissed the confusing thought and decided he could go with what he knew and not embaress himself. Liquids watched her face once he was back upon his feet, waiting until she looked to him before answering. Im feeling a bit hungry myself, now that you menchion it. Pair glanced down to his stomach in a joking manner before they lifted again to the fatal's guise. Care to lead the way? Again. A few light hearted, quiet chuckles rolled from his mouth after his tunes chimed up again, curiousity growing as he wondered where she would take him. He had eaten plenty varieties of food so it didnt really matter to him what style of cuisine the vixen wanted, but he was used to cooking for himself back home and so going to a resurant again after a few years had him a bit nervious honestly. Then it occured to him that maybe they werent going to eat at a resurant, that maybe she ment they she wanted to "grab a bite" at her house. Suddenly, G`rzeth wasnt sure which prospect he should be more nervious about.

He didn’t need to be so correct in his answering. She figured that is he knew no other like him then his kind was indeed rare, but then again, what did she know? Perhaps she’d save that for her research tonight, right? She glanced down and saw his face gladly excepting and just that made her giddy for some reason. He didn’t yet set her up for a let down and that was new in Faerie’s life. However, she couldn’t help but chuckle inside as he seemed to have decode her words of ‘grab a bite to eat’. At his ‘lead the way’ she looked back at him. What did he want to eat? Where did he want to eat? Did he like McDonalds? Did he like pizza? Did he like crowded places? Did he hate people? Did he like restaurants?... She bit her lip, unsure of where to head, unsure of what it was he would want to eat. What did he like to eat anyhow? Uh… Well, where did you want to eat? There is McDonalds, the pizza place, the little corner restaurant, or… My place for PBJ sandwhiches. She said the last part more or less joking, though it was open if that was what he wanted. It was all up to him. As she waited eyes ran over him, not for the reason she was trying to get out of her system but more in wonder and awe. What did he look like fully changed? What was he capable of? Perhaps he was more dangerous than she thought, not that it scared her, oh no, for the first time in a while Faerie was not afraid, in fact she seemed almost un-phased. At least, when it came to death or pain… As for some other things, oh she was nervous and dying to keep things secret still. Hopefully he wouldn’t notice. She awaited his answer, letting eyes return to the sidewalk some. Now that she thought of it, showing him her little place might not be so bad. It was nothing great –far from great- but it wasn’t bad either. It was just cozy. Perhaps they could talk, get a little more figured out, but she wasn’t going to ask him anything at all, wasn’t going to push anything on him, she just wanted to keep his company. Perhaps they could sit and eat at a restaurant, though home was more private… How odd would it be for a couple to walk by and hear something about shifters and someone being a dragon… That definitely was not good. Zeth here did not want to end up officially being called crazy. Faerie knew what it was like to be pointed at and had even gotten a taste of what many called the nutter house. No, Faerie wasn’t really crazy –unless you did think of her like that- she had just gone into a depression and doctors called it unsafe for her to be around ‘unsafe objects’ so her dad had trailered her over to the hospital for what they called ‘overnight fun.’

Weight shifted to one of the lord's legs as he watched her after suggesting that she led the way. The lass's teeth where pressed lightly against her lower lip, a sure sign of uncertainty and the bloke could not help but smile. He had forgotten his anxiety about the resurant, having reassured himself that he would be with her and therefore had no reason to feel nervious. Orbs held a paitent light as the male waited, finally about to speak up and ask if she needed a suggestion of where to eat when the fatal broke the silence before he could, asking where he wanted to eat. Frown creased the skin between his eyebrows at her menchon of a "McDonalds," which he guessed was a resurant, although he had never been to one, but now that his mind was on the subject, Zeth could vaguely remember going past a sign coming into the city that had a huge yellow M with a red block and letters reading McDonalds below the large M. He had no idea what they served there, but it didnt seem like a bad place to eat and he would be open to eating there if that is what she wanted. A smile pulled across features as the essa finished her question, trying to hold back the sudden excitement he felt. Well, if you have some pans and some things to cook at your house, I can do much better than PB&J sandwiches, if thats alright with you. Grin faded a bit as a potential roadblock came up unexpected in his plan. The bloke had been so blinded by his eagerness to see Faerie's place and perhaps show off a bit of his cooking skills that he hadnt even bothered to wonder if she was comfortable with him invading space that was her's. It didnt matter that she had invited him in her earlier speech to her house. It was possible that she had done that simply to be kind and had not really expected him to accept the offer. Mentally, G`rzeth was kicking himself. Wishing he had thought about that prospect before blurting out that he would be glad to take over her kitchen.

She heard him and she didn't really tense up or freak out, she just glanced back at him wondering if he really wanted to head to her place... Wondering if he really could cook. She smiled and raised her eyebrow as though meeting a challenge. She wasn't a picky eater, and perhaps he did have some cooking skills up his sleeve. She nodded, not noticing his mental kicks to himself. She was more or less calming her own nerves because to be honest she forgot if she had cleaned or not. Of course she had, after all, she had spent the last week cleaning the place out, getting rid of the trash that seemed to build up when she began collecting odd ball things. Shopping was not her favorite thing to do, but somehow it had kept her mind off of certain things. Alright, but it's nothing extravagant. Heck, it was an apartment, nothing great at all now was it? She however got a random burst of anxiety and energy. She grabbed his hand, hers rather small compared to him, but none of that mattered as she tugged him along with her, flashing him another joking grin. Her place wasn't too far at all, and there was certainly no need to rush, but Faerie just felt like doing it. Or was it more an excuse to grab his hand? Eh, who knew, not even she was able to read her own actions yet and she was leaving them for later to think about, no time to waste on them now. Her apartment building was smashed between a supermarket and a little clothings shop. Just across the street was a cafe and therefore mornings outside of her place was usually bustling. Eyes ran back over to him, wondering where he stayed, what his life was when it came to money and living, not that it was really high on her pole of importance, she was just curious, was curiosity so bad? So, where are you staying? Perhaps he was really living in some mansion over seas, perhaps he was living as a king, or perhaps he was living on the streets, scrummaging for money. Either way, Faerie wouldn't judge. She hoped he wouldn't either. It's just about five blocks away. Came her ever so bleak directions. Oh well, why would he need any, she was leading the way and it wasn't like she was going to get lost walking to her own dang house.

The mental ridiculing of himself stopped as the fatal nodded and agreed to what he offered, explaining as almost an apology before hand that her place was 'nothing extravagant.' Smile pulled across rose kissers as the lass grabbed his hand and started to pull him along, her facade suddenly excited. Stride matched her's easily, the male managing to stay behind her by about a foot while still not hindering her speed. Gaze dropped to their hands, grin broading because the urge to pull away that normally occured when the man came in physical contact with other people was no longer there. Instead, a strange sort of warmth he had not felt since he was a child spread through his insides, causing him to marvel at how he had changed after meeting Faerie. Orbs returned to their surroundings as the pair moved across a few streets and moved along about two blocks before the maiden turned back towards him, breaking the silence once again with her question. As soon as she had asked it, the man had to fight the need to freeze in the middle of the street. He had no clue where he was going to be staying tonight. How foolish could he have been?! Planning this trip had not taken much effort on his part and had happened actually kind of sudden, considering he had been thinking about it a long time and had yet to gather the drive to actually come to the city. Now that Zeth was here, it was apparent he should have spent more time thinking about it back home. The bloke swallowed hard and shrugged, attempting to seem casual as he replied. I actually had not choosen a place to stay the night here yet. I 'll most likely just end up booking a hotel later. Half smile was shot in her direction, wondering what she would say to that. Of coarse, he had no idea that she had really been directing the question to him to find out more about where his somewhat permant home was. He nodded at her update about how far away they were. G`rzeth had learned earlier that day from another what blocks where after he had asked for directions. Blocks seemed to be going by quickly, hardly straining the drake, although the man he had talked to had acted like walking more than a few blocks was murder. In no time, they arrived to the apartment building, bleached pools roaming upwards towards the roof of the place before his companion dragged him beneath a canopy type roof thing and they started up the stairs. He let loose of her hand as she brought them in front of a door, the baron choosing to stand off to one side of the door while she unlocked it, his pools looking around in a curious way. Once they were both inside, Zeth spoke up again. So, what do you have to cook? Confident smile was sent in the baroness's direction, a compedative sparkle in his eyes. He had remembered her challenging look back at the park and was ready to show her what he really could do with food.
