The whole situation had her thinking of a million different possibilites of what could have happened before they got there and she feared the worst since her horse's stall was right in the middle of the barn and there were several horses with heat lamps right next to him. She was entirely clueless of details as to what extent the fire was and it's origin for starting. All she knew was that the incident was vitally serious and of course she worried for all of the horses as she did her own. She'd heard hundreds of horror stories like so and they were not helping ease her mind. As the truck turned into the driveway, the smoke was already visible and filled the air. The smell became distinct as she jumped out of the truck and hurried towards the barn and then headed out back to find the horses. Relief washed over her to find the gelding more frightened then anything as she placed the blanket aside and then went to look over the mare more closely. Instantly she knew she would need at least something to clean it for now and so then retrieved the first aid kit to flush it out. It was a feeble attempt yet she knew it was better than nothing for now and it was all she could do under limited circumstances. Soon, the vet arrived and she got a hold of him as soon as possible for the mare's leg which only took a few minutes it seemed like. She was careful not to tighten the bandaging too tight nor too loose and applied neccessary pressure for a few moments. The fact that the mare was patient through the whole ordeal helped it pass by faster and it was a benefit since it made the work easier as well. Small smile accompanied a nod as he thanked her once se was finished and stood. No problem. She stated before going back to her own horse who was still quite shaken. Eyes quickly looked to the male with a questioning gaze as he said he knew of somewhere for the horses to stay temporarily which she was more than grateful. Obviously she was not planning on keeping her horse here for longer than neccessary not only because of the fire but because she was not at all pleased with how it was run now. Looking into a new barn did not really bother her but she would definitely be looking into it a bit more closely due to these recent negative experiences. Why hadn't she been a little more pickier before and then maybe not faced experiences like those that had recently happened? Now she was at least able to learn from the mistake. She glanced over to see Enzo going elsewhere and stuck near the horses and dared to glance down at her dress. Naturally she looked like a mess now but really did not care since there was nothing to do about it now due to the recent events. There were much more important things to worry about over her appearance now since the health of the horses won over without a doubt. She looked back at the sound of footsteps and nodded to acknowledge the words. No, that would be great, thank you so much. Honestly she could not even begin to think of a place to take the horse right now and feel safe with leaving him there after having gone through this. Most of her friends boarded and if they had property it was already filled with horses and of course putting the horse in her backyard was not an option. As he went off to set up the trailer she had to find where she had placed one of her older halters and accidentally had left it on the fence. However, it was now convenient thankfully. She gathered the halter and lead and brought them back to place it over the horse's head slowly and running a gentle hand along his neck. She could not even fathom how he would have acted had he not found another horse to buddy up with despite the fact that he had never been herdbound since she'd purchased him but still he got upset easily sometimes and now she understood it. She nodded in response as he spoke of putting Perseus in the trailer first which only made logical sense to her. She was not the only tattered one of the two since he was missing part of his shirt that she thought he used with the stallion but was not quite sure hoever the thought did not really cross her mind since she was figuring out what exactly she was going to do while her horse was at a strange barn. She lead the horse out of the pen and waited to load him until Riveria was finished and the horse did not hesitate at the strange trailer and was perfectly content to be settled near another equine. At least he was level headed and easy to get along with unlike quite a few horses she'd had experience with. Once the trailer was shut up she paused to look to Enzo for guidance on the current matter because he knew where they were going. After he had finished speaking she quickly answered by briefly considering it. I want to be able to check on him, so I'll stay there then. She answered so because she was unaware of where he was going to be and wanted to make sure the horse held up. She trusted Enzo's judgement though and figured that the barn would be quite reliable, she just wanted to make sure her horse was going to be alright first hand since she knew him better than anyone afterall. Again she was aware of what a mess she was but really did not have time to go home and change so therefore would just deal with what she had under the circumstances. Appearance was currently not of uttermost importance to her right now. And at least she had the following day off so she really did not neccessarily need to sleep tonight if something happened.

Adrenaline that had been coursing through his veins was starting to wear off and leave him rather weary since the immediate danger that had threatened them was over, still they were far from being finished or the night and they would be on the road for at least another hour. He wanted to make sure that they would stop by each of their houses because he knew he was going to want clean clothes and he was sure that the horses would be tired enough to be compliant and he would keep a close eye on them as he found a place to park by the side of the road. He ignored the rest of the people that walked to him to ask where he was going with the horses and did not even think that they merited an answer. He was terribly glad that his trailer had been far enough away from the barn that he did not worry about the integrity of the steel structure and the truck rumbled reliably as they stepped into it after securing the horses and hopping into the cab. He was glad that she agreed to come with him and take her horse to this place, it was not too far from where they were now just a half an hour drive so therefore it would not be too inconvenient. He could truly not believe that all this had just happened. I will pull over where I can by each of our houses so we can get some clothes, the horses will be fine they are pretty tired from the entire ordeal I think. Even the stallion seemed to be standing placidly in the trailer and there was not a word heard from him even though there was a mare in the trailer across from him, he had faith in the stallion divider though and this was a situation where he would have to take the chance he was not going to leave one of the horses behind then come back for them not with all that had happened already. He then pulled up beside her house and managed to park along the side of the road with his four way flashers on to indicate that he was a hazard. He then stepped out to open the ramp and take a look at all the horses who were looking a little defeated as they stood in the back of the trailer. After she then returned he did the same at his house leaving the ramp up this time and jogging to his house grabbing a couple pairs of jeans and boxers as well as a couple shirts. He knew that he had brought some of his blankets for his horse’s home and was glad upon realizing this since he had been washing them so he piled them as well as his backpack into his arms and jogged back to the truck and trailer after locking the door. He then got into the driver’s seat and turned to her. I definitely have a couple blankets that will fit your horse in my trailer somewhere, I know his got burnt. He already planned when he got there to give his two horses a bath and leave them with a cooler since he knew he was going to be checking on them all the time anyways and the barn would be warm enough but he needed to get the smell of smoke out of their coats. When they arrived the reliable man was waiting for them and took Riviera as she was unloaded and he grabbed Percy. The stallion seemed to recognize the place and jogged at the end of the line. He led Riviera and the girls gelding to one part of the barn and him and the stallion to the other part that was separated. He then showed him the suite in which the owner had been talking about luckily it was not all torn apart yet and even though the owner decided it needed to be refurbished it was nicer than even the place that he lived. The groom then turned to both of them. Anything you need, please just knock on my door. I am in the suite next to yours. I will be right back when my wife heard about what happened she made some dessert to share, everyone needs some sweets after a tough night like this. Enzo nodded with a smile remembering this guy just as helpful as he seemed and with how picky the owner was knew that he was competent. Alright lets go look and see what I have in my trailer. He uttered.

Such a situation was naturally overwhelming as was this. She'd heard the horror stories but never thought of what would happen if she got caught in the middle of one. Then again, things happened unexpectedly and now she had lead her horse into someone else's trailer and was prepared to make a barn change as soon as possible. The workers seemed to have figured they were leaving since they paid little attention since Enzo had spoken. She too would have to return to get her things, if they were still there and useable. Once their horses were loaded and settled which did not take much, she went and climbed into the truck once more. It never seized to amaze her how much the nights events had changed in such a seemingly short period of time. Head was dipped into a nod as he explained his plans to stop by their houses to grab some clothes. She was in agreement with the statement about the horses being tired which appeared to be quite true since they seemed pretty quiet after the whole thing. He stopped by her house first and she was quick to grab some of her clean barn clothes and other essentials and shove them into a small duffle that was lying around. She carried her tennis shoes but changed into her boots and slipped a large sweatshirt over her current clothes for now; trying not to consume too much time since she would be able to change at the barn. She poured the dog some food and was thankful for the dog door that had been installed prior to her living there. Quick jog brought her to the truck after she'd locked up her house and she stood near the trailer as he went to his own house just for better awareness of the horses' behavior. As she heard the front door shut, she went back and got into the truck, glancing over as he began speaking again. Thanks. She murmured in reply as he offered for her to use one of his extra horse blankets. Of course his other had been left in her trunk in the tack room so there was a large possibility that it would no longer be good either. She was wide awake after all that had happened so she basically spent the ride to the barn staring out the window and lost over what had just happened actually. Since it was very dark already, she could not make much of what the overlay of the place looked like but she knew that it was probably very pristine because she figured that Enzo was very specific when it came to his horses and the conditions they were kept in. And considering that Percy came from such a place, she knew it was a bit more than that of which she was accustomed to. When they were unloading the horses, she followed the staff member who took hers without objection since he would know where they were supposed to be. After finding where Maverick was stalled and finding him to be rather calm after everything he had just experienced, she followed them to where they were supposed to be staying and was surprised to find out how large and luxurious the suite was compared to the small ones she'd seen before. She'd seen various barns throughout her career and knew this was of course among the better ones. Such a place caused a small amount of envy but who wouldn't want a place like this to live? Small smile crossed her lips with a quick nod as one of the grooms told them to just ask if they needed help with anything. Attention shifted to Enzo as he uttered about going to look for a blanket and they walked to the trailer. Curious gaze wandered throughout the barn, catching the occasional glimpse of horse hair beneath all of the blankets most of them were adorned in. I swear, some of these horses have stalls larger than my house. She stated light heartedly, trying to break away from all the serious tension. Focusing on the task at hand, she remembered what her horse's blanket size was as they stepped near the trailer. He usually goes from a 78 to an 80. Anything close to that would be great. Next time she would be certain to prepare herself for any situation like this. Thank you so much for everything. Gentle lyrics sounded out honestly. Now that she thought about it, Kambree was not sure where she or her horse would currently be.

He felt sick to his stomach thinking of what the outcome might have been if they had not arrived when they did. If they had been just minutes later he knew that the flames could have affected the integrity of the structure and could have very possibly trapped him in the stall with the stallion since he had spotted that what looked like the point that triggered it was not too far from the horses stall. And he knew that a lot of people might have tried to save the stallion though he was frantic and they would be scared of him and the fire and if he had sensed that the person was scared Enzo was positive that he would not have gone with them. When he stepped into that stall he knew that he was terrified but movements had been deliberate and quick without pausing long enough to give the horse a chance to think of something different. He lucked out that the animal wanted out of the stall as well since he was placid the moment that they got out into the open and seemed to realize that it was a dire situation. So now he could not be any gladder that they were getting out of the barn, he could not be bothered to ask if any of the other owners that were there needed any help they could find their own way out he had not become too close with anyone other than Kambree and while it did not seem nice he was alright as long as their three horses were alright. The vet was there so she would be able to take care of the rest of the cases. He felt even more relieved once they were in the trailer and had loaded well. When he told her that he had intentions of stopping off at their houses for them to be able to grab more clothes she looked relieved and he parked with four way flashers beside her house and she seemed to be trying to be as fast as possible when she jogged back out within a matter of moments and they set off to his house next. The drive to the breeding farm did not take long and they were just pulling in the door when one of the help jogged to help them. He took Maverick for the girl after politely introducing himself and Enzo took the stallion to the end portion of the barn that was geared towards the stallions, while Riviera was placed in a stall next to Maverick. When the groom then excused himself he stopped as if he remembered something and turned back to Enzo. Tony just called me and told me that if you were interested he would like you to jump school a couple young horses in the morning since he figured that you would be here looking after your horse anyways. A small chuckle was uttered. How did I know he was going to do this? Yah, Ill ride them. He knew that the man was trying to get him back more involved into the sport, when he had been in Germany he had been riding and training young horses as well as competing nationally on his own string of horses and when he moved here his interest and focus turned to achieving a job that would support his horses and most fell between the cracks besides his own animals. Before he broke his wrist he had been starting to get back into the riding and selling horses when he took on one of Tony’s young horses, actually a relative to Percy. When the groom was then completely gone he stated that they should look for a blanket for the horses when she then told him that she was pretty sure that the stalls here were bigger than her own house and a small chuckle left his lips. I would love to be cared for like these animals. As soon as we get a little set up I will give you a tour. She stated that her horse was a 78 or 80 blanket and he nodded. He had a lot of stuff still left over from when he had had a lot more horses in Germany and luckily he stored it in his horse trailer. He found on one of the shelves of the tackroom a large black winter blanket that would be the right size. Riviera had a spare winter blanket in the trailer as well and he also had one that would it Percy as he pulled out all matching ones. He also found a bucket that had sponges and shampoo and pulled three also matching coolers from the back hook on the trailer. When she thanked him a small smile appeared on face in a good natured manner. It is no problem. He uttered gently then continued on with his train of thought. I was going to give mine a bath since they smell like smoke I have shampoo and a cooler you can put on Maverick if you would like to do the same and the next time either you or I check them we can switch the blankets when they are dry. There were two washracks so it would leave one for either of them if she wished to do the same. He then moved to the stall that Riviera had been put in since he knew that the mare would not give him a problem so at least he would have one bathed. He covered the bandage on her leg with duct tape so it would not be soaked with the water from the bath. He started on her legs and then proceeded to wash the rest of her making sure to take extra care with her mane and tail since that would be where the smoke penetrated the most. The mare stood quietly happy to be rubbed with the shampoo and a brush in order to make the shampoo form suds. He did not make it take any longer since it was not overly warm of a night. It was pretty warm in the barn with all the horses breathing and simply being in the barn though so he knew that the horses would not get chilled. When he then rinsed her and sweat scraped her off he threw the cooler over her back and did up the front straps as well as the belly straps before returning her to the stall where she rolled in the clean shavings getting them all stuck to her causing Enzo to laugh at the mares antics when she then stood and shook herself off. He then moved down the aisleway to where the stallions were housed and the stallion looked peaceful for once in the back of the stall when he then entered and slipped the halter over his head before the horse managed to realize what was happening and looping a chain through the nose of the halter to lead him down the hallway to the washrack and turning him around in it Enzo was surprised when he stood stoically. He did not put him in the crossties just in case and started at his legs working his way up next the soap was a little more difficult as he rubbed it into the horses coat managing to dodge the bite when he bent down to scrub his legs. He did not do quite as good of a job on the horse as he then finished rinsing him and placing the cooler on him and leading him back in the direction of the back of the barn. He latched the door and left the horse to be before then returning to where Kambree stood. Ready for the tour? He asked with a small grin holding out his arm for her to take with a goofy grin overtaking features. This barn was mostly a breeding facility so a lot of the horses were either broodmares or young horses though Tony did keep them here until they were ready to go out to different people to be trained and sold. He had a man on staff to start all the babies and train them to that level until they were ready to start harder training. They started at the front of the barn, all the horses had something in common, and all were of good breeding and looked stunning with amazing care. The babies and the young horses were kept outside most of the year until they turned three. They had large sheds that they could find shelter in so since it was dark he would not take her out there. About the second horse was a flashy light bay mare who nickered when she spotted people and stuck her head over the stall door. This is Riviera’s mom. He told her with a small smile not sure if she realized that this had been where he had gotten the mare as well. Hand ran over the horse’s neck before they moved on and other horses were pointed out to her. Eyes fell on a horse at the end of the barn. The horse was a little on the smaller side and was black with four white stockings and a blaze. This one caught his attention. He paused there for a little longer observing the young horse before they finished their tour of the barns. He was glad that they had gotten to eat before they had left. He then walked to the truck to grab both of their bags of stuff to take to the suite. There were separate bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen and bathroom it was like a small house. He dropped his bag at the door before sitting on one of the chairs in the kitchen.

As the groom turned back to Enzo she was curious and overheard the request for him to work horses the following morning. She was not surprised at this since it was obvious that the barn owner was very respective of him and trusted him to train some of the younger ones. She was tempted to ask if she could watch the following day but then figured that that would sound kind of odd and awkward. Glancing over towards where Maverick was stalled she felt comfortable as he appeared content in the change of current barns. However, the gelding never had a hard time settling in and the fact that he was aware of the mare next to him probably added to that as well. She felt bad for the equine as he looked a bit cold and was very happy to hear that Enzo thought to have a few extra blankets in the trailer. She murmured agreement as he said something about wishing he could be treated as well as some of the horses which she could only imagine the routines they went through. He offered a tour which would be very helpful as she could easily imagine herself getting lost without a problem. Plus she wanted to see more of the barn anyhow because touring facilities like this always amazed her. He handed her the correct size blanket and she once again uttered a quiet thanks with a small smile. Hearing his plan she nodded as he offered the use of one of his coolers so she could bathe her horse as well. That sounds like a great idea. She commented before going to grab Maverick from his stall but knew he would not exactly be thrilled with the idea of a bath. She tied a slip knot to the rail in case he caused too much of a problem, which was doubtful because he was never that bad really. Warm water was gently sprayed over the horse's frame which he was a bit irritated at first but did not take long to start tolerating it. Once his coat was fully wet along with his mane and tail, she grabbed one of the extra sponges and slowly worked it along the horse's body. Small hum came from her as she did this, quite content as Maverick seemed to be falling asleep and rather relaxed. Soon the water washed away the soap and after brushing away most of the water, the cooler was placed on the equine. She returned him to his temporary stall and rolled her eyes as he laid down sprawled across the stall. Then she wondered if she should have told the barn help it was not unusual for him to snore loudly which he was already beginning to do so. I honestly think you don't know that you are a horse most days.... The gelding's personality definitely was not ordinary, although it was a characteristic of him that she adored. Hearing a familiar voice. she turned to find Enzo and took his arm as it was offered in her direction. Yes. She replied with a broad smile. Strides matched his as they walked, listening to his explanations as they were stated. Taking in the various equines, she was fascinated by their extraordinary conformation and the history behind them as well as what they had done throughout their career. At a friendly mare's stall, they stopped and she recognized a similarity to a horse she had seen many times. Glancing over at the man next to her, she was surprised to hear that it was indeed a close relative to Riveria, infact the mare was her dam. She really did take after her mother. I had no idea you got her from here. The girl commented, running a slow hand along the mare's face. As they stepped further along the barn, she was quite content to hear what he new of the many horses that lived there. He seemed quite interested in a youngster near the end and the horse had caught her eye as well. The dark ebony coat with contrasting white markings was hard not to miss of course. Noticing he had returned with both of their bags, she graciously took hers from him before walking along to the suite. After placing her things in the emptry bedroom she found him sitting in one of the kitchen chairs. Even with the natural disaster, I really did enjoy myself tonight. She uttered after taking a seat as well in the chair opposite.

The horses seemed to understand that they were in a nice place now and that they did not have to worry, well it was different for his two horses since they had been there before and either Maverick was very easy going which he already suspected or the calmness of the other two were rubbing off on him. Perhaps it would be a combination of both. When they returned with the blankets he felt a little better knowing that the horses would be comfortable for the night since they were starting to look a little cold and he did not like the idea of putting ripped and burnt blankets back on them since he knew that horses were terrified of smoke and fire. When he suggested that they give them a bath and put coolers on them to dry she seemed to think this was a good idea and she settled her own horse in the wash rack beside where he put the mare and they both were set to work she hummed gently and this caused him to relax as he seemed to pass into a trance as the fragrant shampoo was massaged into the horses coat in order to get rid of the odour of smoke and the remaining traces of the fire. They finished their two horses at the same time and they were both returned to their stalls in which the mare rolled and looked hilarious with all the shavings stuck to her entire body. The gelding did the same though seemed to remain laying down. As he passed by the geldings stall he could not help but laugh when he noticed the horse laying on his side and groaning in a snore. It was nice to see a horse that could be that relaxed. He knew that the mare was laid back but she would never be that relaxed and the stallion was no where close. He was surprisingly easy to work with and bath when he was placed in the washrack and he was happy since he did not have the energy to deal with his antics. Soon enough he was also wearing a cooler and being placed back in the stall unlike the other horses he did not roll and stayed standing while eating some of the hay that had been placed in the stall for all of them when they had been anticipating the arrival of the horses. When his arm had been offered when he offered a tour a small smile danced across lips. He stopped at various horses in the barn explaining a little about them. When he stopped in front of the mare that was Riviera’s mother he could not help the beaming grin. She noticed that the horses looked a lot alike and he nodded. They are very close and hopefully her daughter will live up to the large standards that she set. When I bought the horse I had no intentions of getting another horse but I could not resist I had just sold one of the horses I trained for him. Before he had gotten hurt he had debated starting to get more into the training here and since the man was a client he took pride in knowing about what was in the barn and knowing the horses personally since on more then one occasion he had been out to check out all the youngsters and the man would ask his opinion on the horses. The one on the end caught his attention and he allowed himself to linger there for a moment and then he noticed that she caught on before they then returned to the suite. He dragged their bags in before taking a seat in the kitchen. I did as well. I hope we can do this again soon, but perhaps without the barn fire. He said with a small smile before standing he really wanted to take a shower to wash the smell of smoke away from him but the girl would be allowed to do that first. You can have a shower first if you want. I will go put the blankets on the horses they should be almost dry by now. He stated with a small smile. As she was left for her privacy he passed back out the door starting with the stallion placing the blanket on the dappled horse and doing up the straps before then moving to her gelding and having to make the horse stand up before a brush was run over him to get the shavings off and the winter blanket eased over his back with a gentle pat. He the whispered to the horse. I have a feeling you and I will be spending more time together, I really like your owner. He stated with a chuckle upon realizing he was talking to the horse as if he was a person. The mare was then the next and he brushed her and placed the blanket on then kissing her nose and ducking back into the suite. It was not all that late even with all that had happened so when he spotted her he could not help but ask. Would you like to watch a movie? He asked gently before getting his stuff ready for a shower and passing into the bathroom to step under the hot water. He was soon drying off though and was dressed in sweat pants and a loose t-shirt. He then stepped out to see if she was going to find a movie or if she wanted to just go to bed. It was really up to her.

Having a horse that was calm and easy going like hers was very helpful in stressful situations. It was a major relief for her to see how easy it had been for the gelding to settle and she would not have to fuss over him as much since he looked pretty comfortable. Plus she would much rather take a calm horse that snored over a high strung horse that would tear the barn down any day. Whenever he spoke of his horses, it was impossible to her not to notice the difference in his demeanor. She knew he was very devoted and proud of where he had gotten to which was very understandable to her. She instantly knew there was a reason in which he had stopped at the particular mare's stall as soon as the expression on his face got a little brighter. Once more she could get where he was coming from as he said he'd originally had no intentions of gaining another horse but could not resist. There were many times when she had to fight the temptation of buying another horse and always reminded herself that she still needed to work with the one she had right now and set Maverick first. I think she'll be great. Lyrics stated softly as she ran a hand along the mare's bay hide. Besides physical traits, she was sure Riveria could take on the accomplishments her dam had made. Kambree had a high opinion of the younger mare and thought of her to have potential but then again, she was not an expert in the same discipline as Enzo. Actually, she was not an expert at all but still knew how to enjoy herself while riding and that was all that mattered to her. Whenever he stated his input on the horses, she was more than happy to listen and did not get bored on the matter. He had paused before a horse's stall and said nothing and it was easy for her to pick up on the fact that he was obviously interested in the horse. One last glance was directed towards her horse's stall, stepping towards it when she did not see him, but turning away as she heard the discrete sound of his breathing. Returning to the suite, she found him seated in the kitchen along with their bags on the floor. Pulling up a chair herself, she told him that she enjoyed herself, which was the truth. Smile spread across her kissers as he mentioned hopes of doing it soon, excluding the barn fire. I would like that. She uttered gently. She really had enjoyed herself and had a good time, minus the barn fire since it had put a hindrance on things. He offered her the chance to shower first which sounded fantastic at the moment. Okay, great. Again, thank you so much. She knew she had thanked him multiple times that night but she truly was grateful since it would have been a lot more difficult for her to arrange a place to get her horse to at this time of night. The warm water was relaxing as it washed away the stench of smoke and the dirt from messing with her horse. Despite the desire to stay under the hot water for eternity, she stepped out to make sure that she had not used up all the warm water. She then changed into an over sized t-shirt and a pair of pajama pants for the night. Chocolate colored locks were dried with the hair dryer and then tied into a loose pony tail for the night. Stepping out into the main room on her way to the bed room she was staying in, she stopped and directed her gaze at him as he made the suggestion of watching a movie. Even from the stress of the fire and everything, she was not at all tired and it sounded like a good idea. I'm sure I could last through one. She replied before returning the things to her bag and then looking near the t.v. for where some movies might be kept. Scanning over the titles, she picked a few of her favorites but simply could not come to a decision. The few movies were then passed to Enzo with a small shrug. I couldn't decide. She admitted with a quiet laugh before settling on the couch quite comfortably.

The horses were always a static in his life. Something that did not change as a kid there were always horses around and he knew that he could count on some of them to remain as he grew up such as the shaggy old pony that taught him to ride. There were so many memories with that animal on so many merry adventures that he knew that animal impacted him more than most people would affect him. The horse had lived until 23 years old so therefore he had a long and healthy lifetime so there were not bad memories associated with him. From there he moved onto other horses and lots of them were ones to train and sell but there were few that stuck with him such as his first grand prix horse. People came and went out of his life, even the first girlfriend that he had been with all through high school took the time to stab him in the back by cheating on him since at the time he was busy with showing and was away a lot of the time. He had been stupid enough to think that he meant enough for her to stay loyal. Since then there had been a few people that he dated but never steady there were always underlying trust issues. But somehow the night with Kambree changed his beliefs he was able to see that he would be able to make it work with the girl and the conversation and interaction between the two of them was so easy. He enjoyed simply being around her and he could see that in the love and devotion of her horse what type of a person that she was. When he stopped by the mare in the stall and the girl was able to tell that the horse meant a lot to him a broad smile crossed his face. The horse was much older and looked like not too much right now since she had been carrying foals for quite a few years but there was still a glimmer of presence of what she had formerly been. Hand passed over the white marking on the horses face before the girl beside him did the same and uttered that she thought that the younger version was going to live in her mother’s footsteps. That comment to him meant a lot. Already the girl was so sure that the male was going to succeed and he could feel the support and it was something so foreign to him. They soon walked back in the direction of the suite and he took a brief seat across from her in the kitchen. He uttered that he would love to do all the same that they did tonight without the barn fire and she seemed to share the feelings and uttered that she would love to. He then told her that she was welcome to take the first shower while he then went outside to tend to the horses and put all their blankets back on so that they would not get a chill. She thanked him again and he simply replied with a good natured smile before slipping out into the hallway of the barn. He decided that he would simply love to be this close to his horses all the time. He slipped all their blankets on and had a small conversation with Maverick before then returning to the suite and locking the door behind him though he was sure that nothing would have happened if he did not do so. All the barns were on surveillance tapes anyways since there were a lot of horses worth a lot of money. After she finished with the shower he then stepped into the bathroom washing the same smell from himself and stepping out changed into a pair of sweatpants and a shirt although he would rid the shirt before he climbed into bed. She seemed to think it was a good idea watching a movie as well and she determined that she was not able to choose while he had been in the shower and so when he sat down he settled on a new comedy that was supposed to be funny. He set it in the DVD players and turned the tv on sitting on the couch next to her. He was comfortable just in her presence. When the movie was over he uttered a soft good night to her with a small smile before then walking into his room after she had and he turned all the lights off before leaving his door open in case something happened he would want to hear it. He stripped his shirt off before climbing into bed to get beneath the covers. Sleep came easily knowing that his horses were alright. When he awoke in the morning the sun was not even up. He noticed that there was no a single scrap of food in the suite so he knew that he would need to make a trip to get them something to eat. Carefully to make sure that he did not wake her he checked on the horses and locked the door behind him so that she would be able to continue sleeping before jogging out to the truck and starting it. He knew there was a small deli place not too far from here that Tony had taken him to lunch at before. They were open since they had coffee and he grabbed some croissants for breakfast and an idea formed in his mind as he grabbed all the preparations for lunch as well so that he would not have to return since he had a plan. When he arrived back at the barn the groom was ready and waiting for him. When would you like your first horse Enzo? He asked politely since he was already done feeding. The young horses would not take long to get through since he was just trying them out. Half an hour would be perfect. When he went back into the suite he knocked on the girls door to wake her up. I was wondering if you would come help me trying these horses. Tony wants to know what I think about them and you have a good eye when it comes to horses. Plus I brought breakfast. He placed what he had planned for lunch in the fridge before then returning outside to set his plans in motion able to find another groom who deemed it to be no problem at all. He returned to the kitchen once she was up. Sitting down at the table to have breakfast an orange juice and apple juice was placed on the table so that she would have a choice as well as a muffin and a croissant each. When she was finished eating he stepped out of the suite and into the barn leading her in the direction of the indoor and there was a chair waiting for her as a leggy looking chestnut horse was lead in and he hopped easily into the saddle. The horse was well behaved but looked quite immature for his age. To him it seemed as though he needed another year of light work before being expected to perform but his stride was long and limber and he showed a lot of potential as a hunter and yet he was quiet enough to be an amateurs horse which were the types of horses that sold for the most money. People did not tend to want the ones that were a little less safe and higher strung. The rest of the horses were nice but flew by until the black one he had spotted in the stall the day before was lead into the ring. The horse moved with such confidence and with an air of arrogance. Arrogance in a horse tended to be a good thing since those were the types that tended to be aggressive and sure enough in their own ability to jump well. He sat on the horse and it was one of them that was barely started but the horse walked trotted and cantered phenomenally. When he finished he then hopped off the last horse and it was lead away and he moved to Kambree in the center of the ring. Let’s go for a ride I have an idea. It’s been a long time since I have ridden bareback. In Germany he had a crazy instructor that always made them ride bareback but it had been a long time since he did it simply for the pleasure of it. He grabbed the bag full of lunch and eased the backpack over his shoulders and walked with her to the cross ties where two fat but good natured Quarter horses waited. They were Tony and his wife’s trail horses. They waited with just bridles but with their halters underneath. He grinned as he grabbed one of the horses and lead the stoic animal out to the courtyard to get up on the horse.

Sometimes, the girl tired of people and what was going on in their lives. She enjoyed her laid back lifestyle immensely and could not keep up with the craziness of others. Many days she was quite content simply to be in the company of her horse and leave the rest of the world behind. The horse never actually complained and he was an attentive listener to every word she uttered to him; not that she was so insane to have complete conversations between her and the equine. There were just days when she needed company, but not the high maintenance that came along with a lot of the people she knew. A lot of the time she got sick of the stories she heard; fed up of the horrid things that were going on in other's lives when it really was not that bad. Perhaps that was because she was an optimist yet knew the difference between a disaster and a simple set back. Throughout her career she had gotten better with people and generally was social and pleasant with them but many times she would prefer just to be with the animals instead of having to listen to their owners. After taking her shower and figuring things out, she made a quick call to one of the other technicians to let them know she would be gone the following day due to a barn accident. She was not the type to get sick and therefore never used her sick days and the few occurrences in which that had happened revolved around situations with her horse, like now. Within the years she'd had him, he'd been quite accident prone and curious when it came to being outside so multiple times he had found various objects to cut himself on. Needless to say, there was a reason she had put insurance on him and was quite pleased with the relief on her vet bills it gave. Glancing over the movies she was unable to make a decision so then told Enzo to choose since she was not at all picky. The movie he chose turned out to be quite funny which was nice on a night that had caused quite a bit of stress. She had yet to become uncomfortable in his company and that still did not happen as they watched the movie. When it had ended she returned the quiet good night as well before stepping into her room for the night. Despite being in a strange place, she slept quite well as her mind was at ease since things had worked out. The dream that came to her reminded her of the ones from her childhood as it revolved around a horse that had long since been considered to be perfect in her description. Rolling over and opening her eyes at the small stream of light coming through the window she looked over to her phone to find the time. Sitting up in the bed, she remembered where she was as hand reached up to cover the yawn that parted her jaws. Knock on the door caught her attention and helped wake her up further before she decided to climb out of the bed. Hearing the offer, she was more than happy to accept and smiled even though he could not see it at the comment about her having a good eye. She considered it to be a compliment but was not too sure about how true it was. She changed into a pair of clean clothes she'd grabbed and let dark locks cascade down her shoulders freely after running a brush through them several times. After brushing her teeth in the small bathroom, she walked into the kitchen to find the breakfast he'd mentioned already set out on the table. You're quite the host. Lyrics stated upon sitting down and pouring herself a glass of orange juice and enjoying the breakfast. The croissant and muffin were delicious and a very filling breakfast for her. Rather eager to be able to watch the horses, she followed after him and looked over towards Maverick's stall to find him blanketed and eating quite happily. Knowing that her horse was settled in nicely set her mind at ease. Taking the seat in the arena she watched as each of the colts and fillies were brought in for him to try. The movement of the youngsters was gorgeous in her opinion as she saw them stretch out their long limbs in the different gaits as directed. They responded very well for the minimal training most had gone through and she felt herself considering the thought of buying each and every one of them if given the chance. However, she again reminded herself of her current project and let reality come back into play. Seeing the last horse, she remembered it as the one he had looked into a little more the day before and she was personally impressed with it. The horse's markings of course caught her eye immediately and especially the qualities he possessed that her own horse did not. As Enzo slid off and came walking over she got up as well, smile crossing features. He made a proposal of going for a ride and then added something about going bareback which she was definitely up for. It's been a few years for me as well. She stated with a small laugh before walking with him to find two horses already bridled and ready to go. She lead the other horse away as well and found a ledge to get up on her from since she did not want to hurt the horse's back by climbing up on her without one. Once she had settled on the mare, she waited for him to do the same and lead on. I'm assuming this is where Percy and Riveria are going to stay now? She stated it in more of a question, rather curious of the assumption.

When you were given the time to think most of the time while riding a horse the problems that had previously looked like a mountain were indeed proven to be nothing more than a mole hill and a bump in the road that would only get you closer to your destination. In fact if he had not broken his wrist he would not have had the time away to realize how important horses were in his life. He would not even have been considering trying some of the young horses to possibly take another one to train and sell for the man since he knew that was on the forefront of the guys thoughts and that had been the reason he had commanded his grooms to show him a few of the select nicest young stock with a hope that he would select one that he would enjoy working with. He could see the underlying mission here. When he returned from his shower he found that the girl had not chosen the movie and he made a choice that he knew was going to be a good movie as it was popped into the DVD player so the scenes would be depicted on the TV that luckily still remained through the renovations. When it started he knew it was going to allow them to relax a little after the night that they had just had and by the end when the credits were rolling he was almost lulled into a light sleep so they said their good nights before then heading off in opposite directions to the two bedrooms of the place. He was surprised when he awoke so early though he knew that it would out of habit since he liked to take the earliest shift at his job so that he would get home in time to be able to ride the horses that were at the barn and have the rest o the day to relax. When he woke her up when he came back with the breakfast he left for a moment so that she would be given the time to wake up before the horses were lead from their stalls into large paddocks outside. He chose a half paddock for Riviera so the mare would not move around as much and risk opening the stitches but Maverick was place beside her and Percy was in one of the larger stallion paddocks. All seemed to be happy since the day was going to be nice and sunny. When he returned she was just ready to sit down and eat breakfast and she commented that he was quite the host and was met with a small grin. Thank you. He uttered though little did she know that he had a lot more planned then just this. When they were finished he lead her in the direction of the arena where the first horse was waiting for him and they spent the first bit of the morning there while he tried all the young horses and he determined that he liked quite a few of them. She seemed pleased with the idea that he had of taking the horses on a bareback ride and it was a nice surprise to see that the horses were waiting with their bridles in the cross ties and all they had to do was lead them in the direction of the courtyard and he found a small bench that he climbed up onto and hopped easily onto the dark bay Quarter horses back. He settled easily on the comfortable horse and held his reins loose since they were both western horses. He led the way down a path that he knew to wind around the house and to a small lake just across the property. When she asked him if Percy and Riviera were going to be living here was the first time that he really thought of it he knew that they would all be welcome here but he was not too sure if it was going to be the place that he chose to keep them. I don’t know yet. Probably, because I know Tony and the grooms so well and know they will be well cared for. As they settled onto the trail and they were farther away from the barn he settled the horse into a jog knowing that both the horses were kept very fit even when Tony and his wife were not there. Eventually settling into a steady lope The trail got wider so he moved over so that she could be beside him. The scenery was manicured and spectacular and when they reached the lake he slid from the horse securing the horse to a pole that was there for this use by the halter and lead that had been left under the bridles. The backpack with the food eased off his back.

The movie was a nice transition since it actually felt as though it made the idea of sleep come a lot easier because prior to watching it she had been wide awake. Once the end credits flashed across the television she was feeling rather lethargic and stated a soft good night before heading in the direction of the bedroom. Despite being in a strange place she fell asleep rather easily due to the stress and exhaustion of earlier events. At the sound of the knocking on the door later in the morning she woke up quickly seeing as she had slept in quite late compared to her usual times. Even though her job required her to get up early she still was not much of a morning person though. After brushing her teeth and becoming a bit more coherent she shuffled through the clothes in her duffel bag to find a grey tank top and a pair of riding jeans before slipping a light weight navy hoodie over her head. Brush ran through mocha locks and then they were gathered and pulled into a loose pony tail. Pushing aside the curtains for the window in her room she was thrilled to see that the weather was sunny and open skied. Upon finding breakfast already set out on the table she looked around but could not find Enzo until the door opened and closed and that question was answered. Compliment was uttered with a friendly smile before eating her breakfast which was very delicious. Her own breakfasts were generally very simple even when she tried to cook because somehow she had not inherited that trait from her mother. Boots were put on before going out with him to the indoor arena. She was more than pleased to get to watch as he worked each of the horses and was content the whole time. At the mention of the bareback ride she was not at all disappointed since years ago she chose to skip out on saddling up the majority of the time. She lead away the short, stocky sorrel mare over to a ledge and got on as well. The mare was a bit round but the girl had no issue with finding her seat on the horse and following to where he was leading. Finding that the mare neck reined, she then wove her fingers through the strands of mane near the withers and released a small tangle that had managed to get there. Question rose simply out of curiosity and he answered in a wayward way of saying that he was not certain but it was most likely. She nodded in return and was quiet as the scenery around them changed along the trail. Pace was picked up to a jog and she was relieved as the mare had a very nice and comfortable jog, especially compared to her own gelding's since he was still figuring out how to use his legs it seemed sometimes. That was a reason why she was a bit apprehensive about attempting to jump with him yet she would work him up to it as her next goal. Up ahead she caught view of a lake and asked for the mare to lope up on the other side as there was enough room. Soon they came to the lake and slowed down and she tied the horse up as well after taking the bridle off and setting it aside. Then she turned to get a better look at the lake, taking in the view in admiration. The sun reflected off the lake blindingly and she squinted slightly before turning away to find him looking through a backpack. Despite her curiosity, she made no comment and promptly sat on a patch of grass where the sun's rays directed. After a few moments she reclined on the ground and closed her eyes, the sun providing a comfortable warmth on a moderate spring day. Propping herself up by her elbows, mocha depths looked over in his direction with interest. You like to be doing something constantly don't you? The comment was phrased as a question since it was a guess that she was not certain of and it was not meant to offend him, it was simply an observation. But from what she'd seen, he was practically always busy doing or planning something and that was not even while at work. So many times she had seen people doing the exact thing which sometimes was just who they were. Sure she was motivated and did want she wanted and needed to be done but there were times when she just wanted to enjoy a calm streak. Especially when it came to a lot of other people her age, stressing about being serious where she had already done so for awhile and now wanted to be a bit laid back since things were on track and taken care of. Maybe this was because she had been one to get things straight first and then sit back to let them go as they would. Then again she knew when to be serious and was when it was vital. With her original determination to get her life going, she jumped right back into schooling and looked into programs which brought her to where she was now. A lot of others were not in the same boat though since multiple took breaks or took longer for realization to kick in. But she had planned early to find out what college she wanted to get into and where she would need to move as well as the local veterinarians that she could possibly work under. She had been decisive which was not the case for many people so that also had a lot to do with it she figured. But now, she could relax in the sense of knowing that she already had a path started for herself and just had to stick to it unless a major situation came into play. Attention wavered from the man momentarily to check on the horses who were standing patiently.

The horse that he rode now was not something that he was overly used to. He was used to the long and smooth strides of the jumpers and this horse was in comparison to what he would imagine riding a sewing machine would feel like. The jagged movement sent him trying to shift his position so that he was a little more comfortable though he could not complain with the comfort of the horses back since the horse did not seem to have very prominent withers and he felt as though you were sitting on a couch that was wide enough it seemed as though it was impossible to fall off. As the horse seemed willing to move to every cue and everything he asked he then ran a hand along the horses neck with a small smile it would be a nice change since most of the riding he did was now with a purpose. That did not mean that he enjoyed it any less but there were always expectations and goals that he was working towards. He did not have to do any training on these horses they were nothing more than a pleasure ride. While the two horses were a little on the rotund side since they were eating the same as the large warmbloods they were more than happy to get out and stretch their legs. The time that the man and his wife were home and together ready for a ride was limited and these horses pretty much lived the leisure life as pampered pets. Some of the grooms ended up taking them out to exercise them but that was only when they had time and with this amount of horses on the breeding farm spare time was something that was hard to find. The horse did not have to maintain the jog for too long but was puffing a little when they stopped by the side of the lake and he slid from the back of the horse to the slip the bridle over the animals ears and tie them to a post that had been put in place just for this use. The bridle was tossed over a hook before he then took the backpack off his back and headed towards the water where there was a small area that looked appropriate and he took the blanket out of the pack and set it on the ground where it was the flattest and dropped into a cross legged position on the ground. This brought back all the memories of Germany when he was a child and a lot of the time he would be gone for most of the day on his little pony and they would explore all the neighbours land and the forest that was behind his house. He made sure that his family would know where he was going but he was sometimes gone all day. As the food he had brought was taken out of the bag she was also tossed a drink and handed a sandwich before he leaned back, this being the first real time that he had not been busy enough to notice the scenery. The lake was crystal clear since he knew that it was fed by a glacier, it looked very cold so therefore he was glad that he would not be expected to go for a swim. The days were starting to get a little warmer as summer was nearing and the end of spring called for warmer days and the nights to not get as cold but still it was rather frigid. She then made a comment asking him if he always liked to be doing something. Bottom lip was bit for a moment. Most of the time yes. I try to relax but I am a busy body I am much too used to being excessively busy. It was true that he really no longer had an idea of how to relax even when he had the time which now that he was a full fledged engineer he had the time for. It did not even come close to offending him since it was true and he knew that. It was something that he knew he was going to have to learn to change in time since he did not want all this catching up to him when he was older and then looking back to realize that he had done too much and wasted all his life trying to please others. A lot of the time I tend to take on too much at a time, I have a hard time saying no or asking for help. When he had been back in Germany he had been running a barn fully and teaching a few people as well as trying to manage the care of his own string of horses and it had nearly been the death of him and that was part of the reason that he had moved here and tried to focus a little more on his own career as well as just getting his own horses in tip top shape. He then took the time to lean back in the grass and rest his head on the soft ground behind him eyes then directed to the clouds overhead as thoughts ran through his mind at a million miles an hour. Lids then fell closed over depths as he willed them all to stop. A deep sigh was released as body started to relax slightly.

Having been raised with grade horses from the beginning, she was not overwhelmed by the horse's movements. They were not as easy going as Maverick's yet she had done a lot of work in that area and right now was riding for enjoyment anyways. She did not really care what was going on and just wanted to have fun on the little jaunt. The mare was easy going as they went along the trail so she could relax and not have to be fussing about something constantly as occasional horses might need. She was not into this method at all since a lot of the time it elevated situations and made them a lot worse. Actually it sickened her whenever she saw someone ringing the bit through their horse's mouth, especially for no reason. A lot of people were plain idiots that irritated her when they started to "train" which a lot of the time consisted on unnecessary roughness on the horse's part. Many times she had witnessed horses ruined from stupidity and every time she had to fight the urge to say choice words. There were a lot of occasions when the people that came into the clinic for their equines that she wanted to say something to them that would result in her getting fired. One of these days that was not going to matter to her though, she knew it could happen since at times she tended to be very opinionated. Most days she heard some side comment that ticked her off but she had grown to be very tolerate and keep her own opinions to herself for most cases. Some she did step forward or at least tried and was quickly stopped by one of her fellow employees. That had been the beginning so now she knew how to tune people out at the correct times which was beneficial. Before she knew it, they had arrived at the secluded lake and she slid from the horse to tie her up as well. The landscaping was gorgeous and she figured it was a popular spot for those at the barn who enjoyed the trails since there looked to be various paths in other directions as well. She took a seat on the blanket as well after he had set it back, thanking him for the food as it was passed to her. She enjoyed the simple lunch and quietly thanked him once more after she had finished it. She was patient as he looked to be considering an answer to her question which she hoped had not bothered him for any reason but he did not looked irritated by it which was good. There were a lot of people who got irritated by such guesses and she never understood exactly why yet maybe some people saw it as a bad thing. He admitted to this and she nodded in understanding as it was sort of a common thing. The human race itself seemed to always be planning the next move, hence the whole idea of the "rat race". She was in agreement with this alias much of the time but she liked to take a step back every now and then to consider what was happening. Maybe that was because she had taken a hold from the beginning when everyone else was slacking off and now were trying to get a grip on life. Like some, she was living her life as it came to her. He continued on and she found herself to be nodding in agreement. I've had that problem too, it took quite a bit for me to finally put my foot down but now I look back to see that it's helped a lot. I was tired of being treated like a door mat I guess. She said with a small shrug, though she still would do things for others when there was a reason for her to and it was not ridiculous things that they could have done themselves. It had taken once for her to prove that she was capable of making her own decisions and from then out everything had gone along quite well. The sun appeared from behind one of the clouds and she rested on her back to soak up the warmth for a bit, finding the action reminiscent and peaceful. But it was not long before the shuffle of hooves and snorting caused her to sit up and glance over to the horses. They had both shifted and were looking across the lake to something she could not see as of yet. Curious of this behavior, she kept looking until she made out the moving shapes; a small family of deer were at the opposite side of the lake. Eyes rolled and the horses now paid little attention as they had figured out there was no danger and stood sleepily as they had been previously. She rested her chin on her knees as arms wrapped around her legs, sitting there thinking. She wanted to ask him about plans for another date yet decided against it seeing as she did not want to sound over eager nor did she really want to interrupt his current state. Gaze wandered over the lake, picturing it in her mind as she would like to paint it on canvas for an experiment. Landscapes had never really been her thing yet she hadn't ever really tried them. Mostly she had stuck to horses because they were something she loved as well as painting so the two combined only made sense to her.

It took a lot for him to be able to relax he led such a fast paced and sometimes out of control life that for him to relax it made him feel as though he could be doing ten other things at the same time and with his mind reeling out of control his time to relax really was not all that calming. The horses that they were riding were stunningly well behaved and he deemed them to be nice horses to be out on for the afternoon and in the sunshine that was starting to roll over the terrain and dry the dew that was on the grass this morning. It would be a little while until they were going to get the weather that was characteristic of summer and he looked forward to the days that he no longer would have to take the blankets off the horses and put them back on after he finished riding, by now they were in desperate need of being cleaned and re waterproofed again so that they were ready for next season but he was not able to take them off since now he did not have spares left for the horses, he would have to go make a trip out to make sure that they would have enough blankets but right now that was not high on his priority list since he knew that for now they were happy. Percy had even gotten to go safely outside in a stallion paddock that he did not worry about the horse in, the time that he had been at the other barn he had been worried since the people there were not too knowledgeable about stallions and there were small mistakes that were made around him that could end up being very bad if they escalated. After they had finished eating he laid back in the grass and allowed his eyes to close listening to her as she spoke as being treated as a door mat, he knew exactly how that felt since a lot of the time he was only treated like that at work but by girls. She was the first one that seemed to have respect for him. Yes I definitely understand what that’s like. He had an idea that he knew that Paul would go for and especially if it came from Enzo. I think you should keep Maverick here, you would know that he would be under immaculate care and then we would remain at the same barn. He uttered. Plus I do have knowledge that if you were to be his vet here and on call and do the routine work such as vaccinations, teeth and other things that he would give you a big discount and it would be a better deal than where we were. He knew that this would be tempting to her as well as give her a large client base as being a vet. He knew that she would be able to do all this for him and with a group of young horses like the ones that Paul had they were always in need of vet work and to have someone on call would be amazing for him. He would be right on board when Enzo told him this. She liked the idea of getting to see her as much as he had when they had been at the same barn before and it would be terrible if he did not have the excuses to run into her. Will you go out with me again? Hopefully this time with less disaster attached to it? He asked her opening his eyes to gaze up at her with a small smile for a moment waiting for her answer.

After keeping herself busy between school and work as well as fitting her horse in there whenever she could make the combination mix, she had eventually resulted to the idea of relaxing. This came to her easily though, it was the time spent with her horse that was often triggered a sense of relief from the daily stresses that life could tend to have. Right now she was enjoying that feeling as well, not having to worry about anything or even really having to think either. Moments like these were easy for her to be content with and she found herself enjoying the radiation that bounced off the sun's rays The thought of summer was brought to mind as finally the weather appeared to be going in the right direction. Soon she would be able to take her horse out on longer rides at night as the occurrences where it was still light outside during the late hours would come into play. Her demeanor about work would slightly waver then probably, wishing to be out enjoying herself in good weather but at least she was not confined to a small office like many careers required. Subconsciously, she nodded as he told of knowing what it felt like when being taken advantage of. The few times that it had happened had been why Kambree had stepped into her own person and taken charge of her life, then becoming as independent and determined as she was now. This fact surprised her though when he announced it as she could not picture anyone being disrespectful to him as he was very polite and quiet. Yet people were not as considerate as they were said to have once been.In fact, there were many occasions when she got fed up with people because of their attitudes. Attention once more went to Enzo as he started speaking again and she got confused when he stated his thoughts on her keeping Maverick at the stables. She would have loved to yet was not sure of how much board would cost or if they would even accept him. He pointed out that they would be at the same barn which had occurred to her of course and she would like but still was not certain on costs and the remaining details. She was going to point this out but he soon said something about her getting a discount if she were to be the vet there. Again this was something not set in stone. That would be amazing. She murmured with a smile hinting across rose kissers. But that's only if he is actually looking for someone though and I would need your help with bringing that up... The idea sounded fantastic for her as it would be perfect by the sounds of it but she would have to get it figured out if the opportunity was indeed available. Keeping Maverick here would be amazing for the facility itself as well as the fact that she was sure there were many people here she could learn from as well as look into instructors plus going to the same barn was a benefit in itself for his advice and opinion was something she took seriously. Mind was still in a buzz as she considered how much of an excellent deal it could lead to if it played out in the end. Caught off guard by the question although it had been in the back of her own mind, pleasant smile came effortlessly to her expression. Gentle laugh echoed out at the second sentence added on to the question. I would love that. A little less disaster would be nice, although I still managed to have a good time. She admitted, mahogany gaze looking over at him as she sat up. The idea of a second date with him had come to her thoughts multiple times yet she would not be the one to ask. It was unlike her to be so interested in a guy actually but Enzo was into many of the same things as her and had a love for horses as well. One thing that irritated her very much was when people didn't understand why she was so fond of equines and later got jealous of the animals. She found it to be absolutely ridiculous that they would envy time spent with her horse when they never made an effort themselves to set something up. So therefore she was not fond of people who were like so and of course those who hated animals in general were not worth her time. Some one had once called her "high maintenance" which she was far from as it did not take a lot to make her happy. She just wanted people to have a better understanding and that was all that was necessary for the most part, but this was not something easy to come by.
