Her first words of reply made his gaze drop instantly to the floor; hands slipping into his pockets as weight shifted to his heels while a mixture of emotions cluttered the man's brain, transforming his facade with every shift. First, he felt sheepish and weak for ever letting the girl get to him enough to where he was constantly worried about her reverting back to her old hatred of him and choosing the obvious safer alternative in Taelix. Next, he grew angry with himself for being weak and for letting her harm his pride. Finally, rage turned to defensiveness while the damsel continued to speak, accusing him of trying to place the blame that was clearly set upon his own shoulders onto hers. When the hell did I ever say my choices were your fault? I accept the blame for what I did. I'm not the sort of person that would try to pawn that off onto someone else. And excuse me for not being completely confident in the lasting power of our relationship considering it took me weeks of constantly hounding you for you to even agree to go out with me. You hated me from the start; don't deny it and the day after meeting Taelix you both were best chums so forgive me if I questioned how long you would stay with me after being with him on a cruise for a whole week. Eyes shone with the amount emotions that flooded through his system, adrenaline feeding the fire as it coursed through his veins, but this flame smoldered some as the lass turned his attention to what really seemed to bother him and struck home with the male; leaving him speechless while expression softened and he moved closer to her, seeing the breaking point in her and allowing himself to drop the hard set guard that had been in place since the beginning of his momentary rant. Moving closer, depths searched her features, noticing the anger in teal pools that faltered once she realized how their proximity had become limited over the past few seconds. Slowly, he deliberately lifted his hand to brush her cheek; yearning for some sort of contact that could ease her hurt that breed pain and rage. P, I... Vocals trailed off as she jerked away from him, moving as far away as the hallway would allow her and leaving the boy standing there with his arm raised. Sighing, he let the extremity fall to his side uselessly then glanced back to the floor, already feeling defeated because he knew there was no way to salvage this. Her mind had been made up before he had even come to try and explain; nothing he could do or say at this point would change it. Characteristic anger flared up within him and the lord forced his chin to lift so irises could stare into hers while she turned him down for the second chance he had pleaded for. Even though he was prepared for this moment and knew what was coming, Revikr still could hardly believe what was coming out of the girl's mouth. It was like he was listening to a tape recording of someone else's girlfriend breaking up with them. He simply could not believe it was real and the words left him feeling as if he was in a totally different dimension from the lass. The reality of it registered when she turned away to wipe a tear from her face, calling him back from the world which he had reverted to. Seeing her vulnerable, he stepped forward; ignoring her earlier rejection of him moving closer because he had a need to comfort her despite what he had done and what she was now doing. Before he could make any further move, however, Pirzi rallied herself for one last speech, officially breaking it off without giving him another chance to speak. Instantly, he stilled where he was moving and forced his jaw into a hard set line, nodding as he looked back down to the floor briefly. Just as she began to walk away back towards the door to her suite, something stirred within him and he remembered all that had been said between them that night then in one last bravado looked up with hard eyes to glare at her backside. So you don't believe in second chances huh? How lucky you are that your adoptive parents don't share your views on life. Ayrn was the one to give you your second chance right? You're an epitome of a hypocrite, Pirzi. You're like the second chance wonder and don't believe in giving them out to others? Yea, your life will turn out real saint-like. If I were you, I'd be thinking about turning homosexual right now because unfortunately for you babe, men make mistakes. It's almost like it's a part of our genetic code. The perfect man doesn't exist and your policy of withholding second chances will leave you lonely. Smirking, he headed for the elevator, pressing the down button and while waiting for the car to reach the floor, heard her door shut behind him. Right then, he was too angry to miss her, but about the time that he arrived, home, the realization began to sink in and along with that came the funny sinking feeling in his gut. Without uttering a word to his parents once coming into the house, he headed straight for his bedroom where he crashed upon the bed. Then, for lack of knowing what else to do in order to get over her, he moved out to the balcony in his boxers after stripping from his street clothes and lit up, keeping the assembly line going till the sun peeked over the horizon. Lifting his hand to shield his bloodshot eyes, the boy groaned and threw the last joint he had over the edge of the balcony before stumbling back into his room to be immersed in complete darkness. Just as he fell face first onto his bed, his mother came in to make sure he was up for school and found him there. The water works started then with her fussing all over him, asking why he got high and begging him to stop. Too high to deal with her bullshit that morning, he stood up and pushed her towards his door. Damn it mom leave me the fuck alone. He growled at her just as he shut his door behind her then struggled to lock it. Moving back to his bed, he fell back onto it and fell into a deep sleep. After that first day he returned to school, acting as if everything was normal, but every time he saw Pirzi, he found his eyes drawn to her and was unable to look away. Still, he did not approach her to talk to her because he knew the result would be the same. It was true he still wanted to be with her, but they both needed time to cool off and he needed to figure out how he was going to get her back. Two weeks later almost to the dot of their break up, the male heard a rumor that she was dating Taelix and almost lost it. Throughout the whole day he was rude to her no matter the setting where as previously he had been at least quietly distant from her. After school, he went straight to his car and drove to the park then got out and started his hike to his favorite spot. Right then, all he needed was some fresh air to clear his thoughts before he went totally mental on the woman who was still etched on his mind.

She was able to feel that his anger was rising and it would soon be directed towards her, this was something that was making it easier for her to be mad at him as she started to draw back from the situation and eyes were averted to the ground as she simply allowed him to speak and did not utter anything. I don't like Taelix. Not in that way. He stated though it was so quietly she was sure that he did not even hear it. It had been pointless anyways since she was positive that he was going to believe whatever was going to make him feel better about the situation. She shrunk farther into the anger of his words as he spoke once more though she was ready to retreat and turn back and head back to the apartment. She was convincing herself that she did not deserve this that she did not need to stand here to get yelled at. She bit her bottom lip as she listened and comprehended the words. After those words were finished he then softened and it was back to the side she had started to bring out in her and she could not allow herself to get any closer to him and stepped away just for the rage to return into another speech. When she told him that she did not believe in second chances he seemed outraged bringing up how Ayrn had given her a second chance. You know nothing about that and have no right in even commenting. She said and had to turn away when she instantly burst into tears. A tear slipping along her cheek and she knew that it was clearly visible. He called her a hyprocrite and she felt her shoulders grow rigid with the comment and she continued walking with her back turned knowing that she would make a mistake in just getting more and more angry. The rest of the comments unfortunately were picked up with the shifters acute hearing and she knew that they would come back to haunt her in the days to come. When she entered the room she instantly went to bed excusing herself before she would break down and the next morning she was feeling even worse. Though within the next two weeks she found everyday getting a litte easier and when Taelix asked her out she even had told him yes and they had gone out a couple times only to reveal that they were better off as friends. It was all good between the two of them since it was mutual. One evening when she had come home from dance she found Erixic sitting on the couch and Ayrn no where in sight. She took the oppurtunity to settle down beside him for a moment and turn to him. I have a question for you. She stated gently. I know that it is not the same situation but, If Ayrn ever cheated on you would you give her the second chance? Are people worth a second chance? She uttered gently. After listening to what he had to say she hated that she could not get the male out of her mind. She fell asleep to have nightmares of her losing him. Each was graphic and she relived the pain every night waking up with her blankets wrapped around her neck and drenched in a cold sweat though she was too stubborn to ever admit that she might be able to give him a second chance. One specific afternoon she was feeling a little more overwhelmed and ended up skipping the last class of the day and stepping into the car. Driving until she felt as though she had been through town more then once and she stopped at the parking lot where Rev had parked the day that he had shown her his secret hiding spot. She had no intentions of coming here though she was curious and knowing that she would be alone there it would be the perfect place to shift since she knew that the release and being in the animal form would help her. Running shoes were light on the path when she walked along the well beaten path soon turning into the area that was a lot less passed through and stepping easily along the small deer path and over the boulder that she had climbed the first time and it took nearly an hour at her relaxed pace to reach the summit. She was already feeling a little better as she sat on the edge of the cliff overlooking the stunning area. She was wearing a pair of sweatpants over her jogging shorts and she took the loose pants off and left the loose t-shirt on. She stood at the edge of the cliff with her toes hanging off the edge. The feeling of flying that she knew would come with the next action was so exhilarating. She was so consumed in her thoughts that she did not even notice that she was not alone when she allowed herself to free fall over the large cliff though before she even started falling her body was consumed by the change. Arms turned into wings and raven coloured feathers spouted from limbs. Powerful wings carried the raven up over the edge of the cliff to where she was level with the summit where she had been sitting. After a large loop of allowing herself to fall once more and soaring on the under current of the breeze she noticed that she was not alone and almost faltered enough to not pick herself back up. Luckily she had thrown the rest of her clothes into the bushes and she perched on the trees branch. If she had been in human form she knew that a lot of profanities would be flying from her lips. She allowed her body to change back when she was in the midst of the bushes and quickly pulled on her sweat pants and shirt before lightly stepping out from the bushes. I am sorry, I never should have come here. Guarded expression flashed across eyes as she hesitantly stood at the edge of the bushes. She could not think of much worse then him seeing this.

Erixic Matthews| Keen ears heard the key slid into the lock just before the door opened and the teenager walked into the hotel suite that she shared with Erixic and Ayrn. Erix looked up from the sports magazine he had been reading to grin at her before looking back at the article. Hi Pirzi. How did school go? He asked her politely, easily picking up the role of his girlfriend who was usually the one to inquire that question of the girl. Instead of answering, the lass slid down onto the couch beside him, causing the man to glance up in confusion. Seeing her face, he instantly got that dreadful feeling in the pit of his stomach so he closed the magazine and tossed it aside onto the coffee table so his full attention could be on the girl even though he knew he would not like what was coming. Nervously, he shifted his seat after she had asked the fatal question until he was leaning back with his arms resting on the arm of the couch and the back; lips pursed and silver depths trained upon the teen. I've lost Ayrn too many times to count where it was my fault that our relationship took a downward spiral and she has given me multiple second chances that I didn't deserve. To answer your question, yes, I would give her a second chance even if she cheated on me because I love her and know that I don't want to be without her. But, I would find out why she had cheated on me and work with her towards fixing it if we could. Remember though that every relationship is not the same. You are only in high school; there is no reason to get serious with any boy right now because I promise you, they all think mostly with what’s under the belt until they are more mature. Then we begin to think partly with our brains. Smirking, he watched as she seemed to have finished needing to talk with him and rose to retreat to her room, leaving him to return to his magazine which he did with a mind distracted by the teenager's suffering until Ayrn came home.
Revikr Haner][ With a mind very preoccupied, the trek to his secret spot did not last long at all. Almost mechanically, he moved along the nearly invisible pathway, climbed the rock, and started up the mountain side path all with his head down and thoughts engulfed by Pirzi. Gaze jerked up when, as he approached the sweet spot where the rock leveled out, he heard the sound of another moving up ahead of him. Instantly, he felt angry and possessive over the secret place so he stormed forward, ready to tell off or even beat up the person who had invaded his sanctuary up until the point where he saw the girl standing in a pair of shorts and a short sleeve shirt in the dead of winter on the edge of the cliff. Then, almost as if it was something straight from a horror movie, the lass closed her eyes then slowly began to fall forward as he watched, causing horror to etch across features. Adrenaline fed his veins and the boy burst forward onto the plateau, knowing he needed to catch her before she fell to her death. Pirzi! Her name burst forth from his mouth and it would have been a relief to him for being able to let it roll off her tongue if she was not just now trying to commit suicide. When he was a few feet away from her, he knew it was too late, began to accept that she was going to die, until suddenly, her body began to shift rapidly. Bones and muscle visibly contorted beneath her skin that was slowly turning into a dark gray color causing him to stop dead in his tracks and stare in disbelief. Within the next second, a raven had taken the place of his ex girlfriend and it rose above his head to fly towards the clouds, drawing the man's vision as it did so. Legs collapsed beneath him and he jerked his liquids away, searching frantically the ground beneath him while his mind reeled. He had not had anything to smoke or drink that day and yet, this had to be an illusion; some sort of dream or hallucination that he would realize in a few seconds was not real. And yet, the clothes she had been wearing moments before were laying there on the cliff side. Shifting up to his knees, Revikr moved closer to reach out and touch the fabric just to see if it was real then picked up the still warm shirt as he rocked back onto his haunches, crouching now instead of sitting on the earth while feeling the cotton of the shirt and heat from her body. That was real. Just then, he heard a rustle in the bushed to his left and jumped into a stand, taking a defensive position of a karate master that came as a reflex from the many years his mom had forced him to go when he was a kid. When Pirzi walked out from behind the bushes fully clothed in attire more appropriate for the weather, the male stared at her warily but did nothing more to alter his expression or stance. Familiar lyrics only further convinced him of the truth he just saw and instantly he dropped the stance, staring at disbelief at her while still holding the shirt in his hand. What was that? What the hell is going on? He asked, trying to control the tone of his voice to keep the hysterics out of it. Swallowing hard, eyes looked her up and down, the final question burning to be asked in the back of his mind, their past relationship almost completely forgotten in the moment. What are you? Vocals sounded foreign even to him as those words were whispered, cobalt pair lifting to meet her teal depths, reliving how gorgeous and unusual her eyes were. Perhaps that had something to do with what she was and what this meant.

She was a little nervous to ask Erixic the question that had been on her mind all day at school today. Ever since her and Taelix had broken up which had not been long ago she had been wondering why it had not worked out. Sure they mad better friends then they had when involved in a relationship though she could only feel that she had been half hearted about it. She knew that she had not really gotten over Rev and although she tried to not think of him he possessed every corner of her mind for the most part. Why could she not forget about the jerk? He had hurt her so much and yet it was his words that had left such a last impression and flitted across her mind everytime she managed to close her eyes. She could see that Erixic knew that a large question was going to be thrown his way with the way that he tensed and threw the magazine to the table before allowing himself some time to properly respond. Telling her all that he thought though she had already known what was coming. Saying that it was different between him and Ayrn and she nodded. She knew that it was different and that she should not care and just carry on and not get serious about the relationship, that would be the right thing to do, to forget it ever happened but she couldn't do that. He also stated that he would give her a second chance, and she wondered what would happen if she did the same, would she be able ro forgive him with time? She knew that she would wonder forever what would happen if she didn't though so perhaps it was the right thing to do. She would have to think about it. Thank you. She uttered gently before stepping up from the couch to go to her room to change into a pair of sweatpants and a sweat shirt before then walking out to the car after uttering that she would be home before dinner and that was how she ended up at Rev's secret spot that he had shown her the one day with the want and need to shift into her animal form. What she had not accounted for was the fact that he might be there and he saw her shift until she had finished her frolicking and turned back into her human form emerging from the bushes. She was dressed casually in her grey sweatpants and a long sleeved t-shirt. A deep inhale rattled through her ribcage as she knew that she was going to be expected to explain what he had just seen. He was abrupt and angry when he shouted at her asking her what the hell was going on. She winced at the severity of the words, she had to wait for a moment to calm herself before replying when he asked what she was. Teel depths met his for a moment before turning to the view and dropping to a cross legged position along the rock. I am sorry to intrude on your hiding spot. She stated before she even answered the question. A shape shifter. Though its not like the movies, that is my only form. A raven. She would not reveal that Ayrn and Erixic were shifters as well just allowed him to talk and say what he wanted. She was well prepared for him to explode at her.

Lids blinked over depths rapidly, gaze following her as she sank down to a seated position and apologized for intruding in on his secret sanctuary. Shock wore off and the familiar yearning to be close to her began to rebuild itself inside of him in a stronger force than what it had ever been. Talking a deep breath the male recovered some and moved to sit in front of her without thinking, mimicking her pose with legs crossed and arms resting on his legs. Cobalt orbs searched her face, trying to pinpoint exactly what was going through her mind by watching her facial features change and contort as she rallied a reply. He had already begun to guess what she was before the girl offered an answer. There really wasn't much of a variety of choices of what she could be and shape shifter made the most sense, but it was still hard to believe that haw was anything but human. The existence of myths like them had never really been questioned by him and yet, here this beautiful lass sat, telling him that she turned unto a raven and he had just seen the change with his own two eyes so there no way she was lying to him at this point. As if she really would. He was the liar out of them and knew everything that she had ever told him to be true or at least he thought it was. For a while after the confession, he remained quiet; simply looking at her with wonder and concern in his eyes. She didn't have to tell him what she was. She could have taken off and refused to answers him but the fact that she had told him convinced him that deep down she had wanted to tell him not because she felt she was forced to. This knowledge gave him hope that she trusted him enough and this feeling made him bold. Reaching out, he put his hand beneath her chin and lifted it until their eyes met, his blues getting lost in the striking teal of another world. For a second longer, his tongue was tied but finally he was able to muster something in reply. Amazing. I never would have. . . That is, I never suspected anything like this. You're different, I knew that but I had no idea you were this different. Thumb moved over her cheek, stroking it gently as he continued to stare into her eyes. What's it like? You looked like you were having fun flying up there. The urge to question her about Taelix and giving their relationship another try was ignored in exchange for simply enjoying the lady's company. He just hoped she wouldn't pull away or leave him. He had missed her far too much for this to be over so soon and right then, he had never felt closer to her.

She was already mulling over her options, she had told someone outside the small group that was a part of the tribe, she had told a human, someone that would not understand. He could not be trusted with her heart so now she was going to have to force herself to trust him with the biggest secret, more important than love because this secret and it remaining a secret was something that ensured she would not be shipped off to some circus as the main attraction. She was sure that there were humans out there that were just looking for people like her and the people in the tribe to study them and try to see if they would be able to modify the genetics of humans to try to make them shape shifters. She liked to think that it was a little different then that, there was a certain amount of magic involved in the combining of the two species. This also made her wonder the orgins of something such as shape shifters, what did they originally come from. What made her a raven and Ayrn a wolf? What decided what form you would take, was it your personality or just your lineage, if Ayrn and Erixic had a kid would it be a wolf shape shifter or would it be a throw back to somewhere in their lines and be something else? All of these were questions that she was sure that she would not get the chance to act since the society were all independant and she doubted that there were people out there studying the race like humans had philosophers. When she sat she was already deep in thought and barely noticed that the male came and sat in front of her mimicking her position on the ground. The air was cool and washed over tense and slightly exerted muscles that ached a little from the change since it had been a long time since she had been in that form. She was caught by suprise when he moved closer and hand tilted her chin upwards, she did not pull back because she was much too shocked. She hated that he still had the same affect on her to cause butterflies to flip around in her stomach and breath to deepen slightly. Eyes met his for a moment before she was forced to look down. He commented that it was amazing and that he had expected her to be different but this was really different, she nodded slightly. Ivories clamp on her bottom lip especially when he asked what it was like for her to be a shifter saying that it looked as though she was having fun flying. I am very lucky, being able to fly, what little kid did not want to be able to fly? She said with a small smile. She had not found out that she was a shifter until she was 13 but even then it never seemed to get old it was such a different prospective on life. Seeing the world from above never ceased to clear her head and remind her just how big the world was even when it seemed as though she was trapped and stuck in one tiny portion of it. It is also very much a hassle, I feel as though I can only get so close to people because I always have to keep it a secret no matter how much I trust them. She knew that she should pull back from where she was sitting knowing that he was just too tempting but she trusted him not to try anything. And if he did she would be sure to tell him what she thought of it but she was not going to ruin the possibility of them having a nice talk, she missed him, but not only as her boyfriend, conversations between the two of them had always been so easy as well. Finally though she shifted backwards to give herself a little space to not be too consumed by the feelings of what she seemed to get when she was around him. As for what you said about me getting a second chance from Ayrn, you are right more than you know. My parents only gave me up a couple of years ago. She did not elaborate though since she was not ready to lose more then one secret tonight. I am just not over it Rev. Pain flickered over the girls face. You know I still want to be with you, I still have feelings for you. I am not going to deny that but I just can't. She paused for a moment. Why'd you do it? Why did you have to ruin what we had? Sure I had been skeptical at first when we first got together but after that it was perfect. I could not have asked for more.

A slow smile spread across his features as well when he saw how fondly she talked about having the ability to fly and still, there remained something behind her words the made him question whether or not her mind was fully on the subject. Absentmindedly, he continued to stroke her chin with his thumb, but during the pause in speech, the male realized that the arm extended between them was a little awkward and soon dropped his hold and to rest arm on his leg once more, but kept his gaze on the girl's face even when she avoided meeting his eyes. Listening to the stipulation that, of course, would throw a shadow across her special powers, he nodded, trying to keep from making the situation personal between them, but it was nearly impossible. He had gotten the information backwards; instead of retaining her trust and having her eventually tell him because he wanted to, he had turned his back on the trust she had placed on him as his girlfriend and only now, when he had caught her in the act of changing was she forced to tell him of her secret. Knowing of nothing to say, the male remained silent, unmoving from his spot however despite the slight tension that hung in the air between them. The urge to reach out and touch her grew with the passing moments, but he clenched his fists instead; knowing that any further contact between them would cause her to bolt and that was the last thing he wanted. They were actually talking civilly where as the last time they had run into each other, their relations had ended in yelling on his part and crying by her. No other woman made him want to stay around them even after they had broken up, but then again, Pirzi called forward feelings and tendencies that Revikr had never endured before. For him, she was as different from his usual pick as the night was from day. It had been a long time since he had ever missed a specific girl; generally when he was single, he only missed the company that someone of the other sex could only provide and that was a quick remedy that did not require commitment, but in this case, he did not want to go to a party and ease the pain that had come with her leaving him. Instead, the lad carried it around like a heavy load he would never be free from and did so blindly: seeing nothing and no one but her. Maybe it was because he was still not ready to accept that they were finished indefinitely. Rev still felt that something had been left unfinished between them and never before had he left something to lie when there was still work that needed to be done. Somehow, he needed to convince her to take him back and yet; he was blank when it came to how to do it. The usual avenues he would take would not work on the lass, he knew, but he felt as if the sand in the hourglass was running out for him to get her back. The rumor that she had been out on a date with Taelix only further confirmed his fears that time was definitely not on his side in this. Stirring him from his inner thoughts, Pirzi spoke, at first confusing him as he could not make out where this strain of speech had come from, but after a short moment it dawned on him and guilt ripped through him, causing a sigh to be released from his chest. Picking up her shirt from his lap, he moved to drop it into hers before mustering speech, regret and apology in cobalt pair as they found her this time. P, I was angry when I said that. He started out, looking away before swallowing so he could continue. I'm sorry I said it now. I didn't want to make you cry even if I did mean to hurt you with the words. It was an undercut you don't deserve, but I don't know how to not fight dirty. Liquids lifted and met hers, recognizing the hurt etched on her features just as his stomach clenched and churned, knowing he was to blame for everything she was going through now. Quietly, he listened to what she was saying; his hope rising and falling like a wave on the ocean as it came to shore. Her tone told him she was dying to be with him again and yet her words told him that she did not want to go through the hurt again. He knew where the conversation would turn and yet he silently willed it not to, feeling the typical guilt and dread when it did despite his aversion to it. Leaning away with a sigh to rest his weight onto his hands that braced themselves against the ground, he let out a frustrated sound then moved to answer with a slightly angry edge to his voice. Shit I don't know Pirzi. I can't understand what was going through my head that night. Pausing before he moved to defend himself again in order to plead his case better, the man glanced up to look at her, voids steady now and sincere. Yes you could have asked for more and you should have. You and I both know I didn't deserve to be with you. Everyone was right; I was never the sort of guy you should have been with. You need someone more and I can only be who I am. Stopping, he looked away, sitting forward again as his finger drew lines in the loose sand on the rock, his whole body going tense as the next sentence rose to his lips. Heard you went out with Taelix. He said quietly, not daring to meet her eyes for fear of what he would see there. Really, why was he bringing this up? So he could hear how perfect she and he were for each other? The thought made him sick to his stomach and yet he knew that Taelix was the kind of guy that the fea should be with; unlike him. The distance between them felt like a football field rather than a few feet and it killed him to be so distant from her now when only a few weeks ago they could not have been closer. He would give anything to feel her skin against his again; it was killer not being able to hold her as they talked like he would have normally. Suddenly, desperately, he glanced up to look at her, a pleading look upon features. P, will you let me hold you? I won't do anything else; I just want to have my arms around you again. I miss talking with you like that. Knowing it was probably a suicide request, the man let his face and eyes plead with her as much as they could, guessing that if she turned him down, that this would be the end of the conversation and she would leave him. The thought caused him to second guess his request, fear striking his heart and the desperateness wavered as pride found its way into the equation. Cursing himself, the bloke shifted back to his relaxed position, growing cold as the silence between them stretched. Damn it. Forget I asked. I don't... Cutting himself off, the guitarist screwed his mouth shut, never finishing the last thought because he did not want her to know how badly he wanted her to just stay with him right then.

When she told him about being able to fly and she was sure that her joy spread across her face he allowed a small smile to slip across features as well and she realized how much she had missed seeing that from him. Sure she was used the untouchable, jerk act that he put on at school in front of people but the secret smiles he had shot her were heart melting. Since they had broken up she had not even caught a glimpse of something close to a smile. Everytime she had managed one it had been fake, luckily not a lot of people knew her well enough to see past that, not even Emily who claimed to be her best friend. She knew that Emily only really liked her because she was considered popular and there were a lot guys chasing her even though she knew that the new kid mentality had worn off. Thumb ran along her chin and she allowed it for the moment, soon enough though his arm had dropped back into his lap as it had grown a little awkward. His fists clenched and he looked extremely tense though she pretended not to notice as words left her lips in relation to the words that he had spoken the night in the hallway that had been meant to hurt her and had done just that, remaining a permanent fixture in her mind. She had had nightmares about the situation as well and was forced to relive the scenario in the hall, losing him once was enough but losing him over and over again had been torture. Luckily that had only continued a few days or she knew that Ayrn and Erixic would be suspicious and likely to ask her what was wrong. She had found it so hard to open up to anyone that the only one that knew the story of what happened was Taelix. He proved to be a wonderful friend and that had been when they had decided to take it to a different level although that did not work out well. It was nice that they had both ended it though without harsh feelings so that they could remain as close as they seemed to have become. He told her again what she knew, that he had been angry when he had said that, though the sad part was that she knew that it was true and even as much as she wanted to deny it it kept coming back. But could someone cheating on her and then lying be ground for a second chance? She had always thought of that to be unforgiveable. He told her that he did not have intentions to even make her cry that night, she did understand that he was the way that he was and she had known that when she decided she wanted to be in a relationship with him. Rev, I understood that about you from the day I met you. But, I know what you did say while I might have hated you for saying it, was true. The urge to reach out and comfort him seeing how awkwardly he was sitting there was overwhelming expression marked on features turned soft. He went on telling her that it was something that she did not deserve. She shrugged. What's done is done. You may not have deserved to be left naked in a park and have me steal your car but thats over now and it happened. I am sorry I reacted that way. She watched his expression carefully as she referred back to the park where she had known the truth and tricked him into getting naked then took his keys, cell phone, and clothes before stealing his car and driving it back to his house, not much of a joyride though in her mind it made her feel a little better knowing he would be as humiliated as she had been that night at the club where he had performed and that girl had been all over him. It made her sick to even think of that girl and tears almost sprung to her eyes, she turned away blinking to rid them though, she would not cry in front of him again. She would not allow herself to be that vulnerable that he could see just how much pain he had inflicted. He then stated that he did not know what was going through his mind the night that he had cheated on her and she nodded willing to understand as little as possible knowing it would just hurt her more. He then continued with something that made the pitt of her stomach sink. Insisting that she could have asked for more, and that she should have. There was nothing more to ask for Rev, I loved being around you. You treated me so well, I could always count on you. What more could I ask for? She asked him. He went on telling her that both of them knew that he had not deserved her. She shook her head with a fierce look that told him she was not going to back down. How did I not deserve you, up until this point you were more then I could ask for. I liked you for who you were. She uttered gently. Allowing her voice to fall as she could sense the situation getting a little more heated with hurt feelings. She should not have even brought this up and regretted it but now there was no turning back. He traced small lines in the sand before uttering that he had heard that she and Taelix had been dating. Yes, we went on a couple dates but both of us decided it was not working out, we were better just as friends. She was not going to lie to him and tell him that the rumour was fake since she had no reason to hide it since they were broken up and yet she was still sure that she did not want to see the look that would surely cross his face, judged by the tension in his shoulders as he held his gaze to the sand. When he looked up to her with such a soft and pleading expression that was the breaking point for her. Seeing the man she knew to be so defiant and stubborn like this was a horrible thing for her. She thought back on one of the first days that she had met him and he offered her a ride home when he had seen her walking him and she had flat out refused it and he had driven beside her 3/4 of a the way home to the hotel before deciding he needed to leave. This brought a small smile to her lips despite the earlier proclamation. For the two of them there were so many good memories it was horrible for them to be plagued by the one large bad memory. She wished that the good memories would all gang up on the bad memory and force it not to matter so that they could continue on where they had left off. She was not too sure what had been the turning point where she had decided that he might not just be some punk kid trying to get a rise out of her. Perhaps it had been the day that he had come to watch her try out for the dance team and stayed until he had watched her before leaving and walking with her and telling her that her performance had been very good and offering to have someone help her if she liked. No strings attached as it had been in his own words. While it might have been a ploy to get closer to her it had been the first geniunely nice words passed between them. Then the party, so much had happened that night. First off she had asked him to dance and had been having a wonderful time before she passed him off to some girl and for some reason had felt an unexplained spark of jealousy as she watched him dancing with someone else, though she would have never admitted that and ended up calling him a player when he returned. The cocky demeanor from when they were on the swing made her really start to wonder about him when he told her that he could be a good guy for the right person and that he was quite peticular when he was serious about someone. She was amazed she was able to remember all of this so clearly. She had ended up offending him until he walked off, this was shortly before they had playd truth or dare and shared their first kiss, one in which seemed to spark their true first kiss later on in the night ending with her fleeing as she had with so many other guys. She was brought back to reality by his question though and she could already feel what it would be like with his arms around her. She fought with herself the entire time but moved closer allowing arms to wrap around his neck, resting her forehead in the crook of his neck. The feeling was so comforting despite all that had happened in the last few weeks. A deep breath was taken in to her lungs and allowed back out in the form of a sigh. You deserve to at least have known the truth about me now that you know my largest secret. She started off softly, hoping that this would not be the largest mistake. Words were nearly silent with their close proximity. I am not like a lot of other foster children, my parents are still out there somewhere, not dead, they simply did not want me and it took almost 15 years for them to decide that. She uttered. I was raised mostly by their house keeper in France they were never around too much, so when I turned 14 I tried to get their attention, when good grades and dancing didn't work I started hanging out with the wrong kids in school, we used to have bonfires on the beach and one day I was dared to break into a car, I did and it escalated until I was dared to break into and joyride a car, which I did I was a kid that had never driven a car before but that did not stop me. I was being chased by a police officer that had seen me steal the car when the car I was driving was hit by a drunk driver and I was caught. This sure caught my parents attention and it was the most I had seen of them in a long time, I was sent to a juvenile detention center for a year and a bit and when I got out, they were just gone, disappeared and I was given to child services where I spent a year before Ayrn adopted me. It felt nice to get this off her shoulders. So now you know the truth about me. She told him. She dropped her arms to try to see the expression that crossed his face. I might consider a second chance, it must be secret though at first while I decide if I can do it, no one from the school can know, Erixic and Ayrn can't know. So it would be secret, no commitments at least until I know I can trust you again.

Sapphire pair held her gaze easily while she refuted his attempt to apologize and make her feel better about the remark that had been unleashed from his jowls back when they had broken up. Unwilling to fight what she said, he simply let himself marvel in the moment as the girl he had known to almost always keep up her defenses around him suddenly dropped them at a time where it would be most advisable for her to keep them in place. However bizarre he found this unexpected exchange of words, the lad found that he enjoyed the thought that they both were able to forget themselves in order to focus on the other when both were known to be extremely stubborn teenagers. At the next sentence, the bloke could not help the smirk that broke out across his features of the amused laughter that bubbled out of his chest, lighting his eyes with true enjoyment for the first time in many weeks. Oh I can assure you; I deserved everything that you did to me that night and more. In a way, I was lucky it was you who was the one finally able to enact revenge on me. I'm afraid some of my other exes would not have been so kind as to leave me there like you did without causing much of a scene and I would never have seen that car again with any of them. Shaking his head, he grinned across the way at her, holding the expression for a moment before slowly letting it drop as the words between them became more serious; stirring deeper feelings that both of them had tied into the past till they reached the surface. Crown shook as still she refused to see what the logic that came from his mouth. Yes there was you just did not see it. You could have asked for a guy who didn't drink, smoke, or party all the time. You should have been with a guy who wasn't so used to playing that he forgot what it was like to be in a real relationship. Frustrated with himself, he huffed out a heavy breath, liquids turning hard and cold as they looked up at her. And let’s face it P: you didn't really know who I was. Before I cheated on you, during the time that we were dating, did you ever think I was capable of doing that to you? Shit, I didn't even think it was possible. With other girls, sure, but with you.. Trailing off, the bloke shook his head then leaned forward again, starting to draw in the dirt with his fingers before making the statement about Taelix. When she replied, he froze his movements, listening with slight surprise to the news that she revealed to him and found relief along with a strange sense of pride that she had been unsatisfied with the other guy who was clearly an easy connection for her. It was then that his need to be with her intensified to the point where he begged her to let him just hold her; casting his pride aside with all that he had in order to make this one desperate ploy. The long moment of silence that came after that caused him to second guess himself and retract the plea and the hope that had lingered along with it. His speech was premature however for in the next moment, the girl unexpectedly came closer to him and wrapped her arms around his neck before resting her head upon his shoulder. Body shuddered in a release that was close to ecstasy and without hesitation, the baron moved to encircle her figure with his arms; gladly and greedily holding her warmth against his while setting his chin to rest upon the top of her head. Maneuvering around, Revikr positioned them in a little more comfortable manner as he pressed his back against a bolder nearby and extended his legs outwards from his body, making it easier for him to relax while in her grips. He would have been content to remain like this with her for hours without any words passing between them, but the lass already had something in mind so therefore it was released soon after they had settled into their positions next to each other. Frowning at the introduction she gave to her past, the male listened quietly, hand running gently along her back in smooth strokes that came naturally while female lyrics flowed into the air, filling him with guilt when he realized that this was among the thoughts that came to mind for her whenever he had made his jab at her for not giving him a second chance. Squeezing her closer to him in a brief hug when she finished, he moved till facade was angled down at her, seeing the expression on her mask as hand moved from her side to brush softly against the smooth, tan cheek. You didn't have to tell me all that P. He whispered to her softly, awed that she would trust him with not just one secret but two in one night. Lips parted, ready to offer a protest when the lass sat up from where she had been at his side and removed her arms from around his neck, but he quickly shut his mouth when he saw that she was again preparing to speak. The first few words allowed him to soar as he took a deep breath in an attempt to hide the overpowering emotion; chest expanding like a large balloon before returning to normal. As happy as he was about the first bit of news, the second half could not be ignored. Twisting his handsome complexion into a look of displeasure, the man could not help but to sit forward till their faces were only a few inches away and lift his hand to stroke her cheek, pools searching teal pair the entire time. I can do no commitment; for a while. But why does it have to be a secret that we are dating again? Going out on dates does not make us exclusive in any way. And I'm frankly tired of ignoring you in the hallways at school. It takes too much effort not to mention we still have a Chemistry project to work on together. I don't care that people know and sure, they are going to ask questions like they did when we split, but I don't have a problem ignoring them.

Although he did not open his mouth to argue against what she had said regarding him being right about the second chance comment she knew that he did not agree with her. That did not matter though because it was nothing but a petty comment that was spoken in the heat of an arguement and it would be allowed to fall to the back of her memory and eventually it would not seem like such a big deal and perhaps it would be forgotten though in the past few days it had been such a big deal since that had been the last time that they had talked and she walked herself through their entire conversation over and over again until she had over analyzed it far too many times. It was true that it would be in her best interest to keep her guard up and walk away when she still had her dignity. Though that was not in the cards for tonight the man brought out a side of her that she had never known to exist. She had never felt the need to be around someone as much as she felt with him. She had been so independant all her life and been so far away from others partly due to the secret that she had to keep and partly because she was not too much of a people person and simply did not enjoy and thrive on the company that so many people found needed in their lives. She had been able to provide for herself from a young age since she did not have too much of a choice so the company of others had been something she had to get used to especially with Rev and she had enjoyed it as much as she hated to admit at first. She knew that if he happened to get mad at her and decide to reveal her secrets there would be no harm that came from the one about her history. All the important people that needed to know that one already did including the school. Sure there would be uproar along the parents at the fact that she had been allowed into the school though she had lived through her probation period now and she was a full fledged student, the administrators had dealt with her case as they get had felt was needed so therefore she had jumped through all the hoops that were provided. And if he decided to tell the authorities about her being a shape shifter well there was no proof of that was there and she was sure that she would be able to prove that he was at least smoking weed so therefore he could have had hallucinations, though that was the worst case scenerio she liked to think that she would be able to trust him with the secrets and getting it all out in the open was the first step to getting over what had happened, it signalled that all she represented was honesty and she would no longer feel guilty about keeping him in the dark. She was appreciative that they had completely seemed to have switched their talking to now her and the subject that she had brought up and he was genuinely a good listener, that had been one of the features that she found to be so attractive and it caused her to soften even more to the male. He spoke of the night that she had stolen his car as if it was something that he found funny even commented that he deserved it all and more. For something that she had thought would get to him and would make him so angry he handled it overly well. A light chuckle was emitted lightening the mood a lot between the two before it turned serious once more and they were back to talking about important things. She knew that he was into drinking and smoking and partying though she was convinced that with him it was just a stage that he would grow out of in time. Plus it did not overly bother her since it was not done around her. People coped with things in different ways and this was just a way that he was coping with an aspect of reality. It would be nice to have a boyfriend without those vices though she was not going to throw away what had come between them because of that. He told her that she did not know who he was and then told her that he thought it would have been impossible for him to cheat on her and she looked down to the ground with a somber look falling across features still harbouring the pain of what had happened. As soon as her forehead met the crook of his neck and rested there eyes were closed lightly and she focused on nothing but the mans breathing and the sound of his heart beat echoing through his body and it was overwhelmingly soothing to her. He shifted so that he was leaning against a rock and so that they were more comfortable and she started her speech about her past, she found it hard to tell him though she did anyways knowing it would feel better off her chest and she had been right in assuming that. His hand running along her spine calmed her nerves a little and made her focus a little more on him than anything that she was telling him. When she finished he commented that she did not have to tell him all that and she shrugged. Yes I did. If I have hope of us being together again I will not allow there to be a secret like that between us and even though everything tells me not to and I really shouldn't I feel as though I can trust you. Hand met her cheek again in the next moment after she told him that she would give him a second chance but she wanted to keep it a secret. Rev I want to keep it a secret at least from the school for a little bit while I sort out my own feelings and try to get over what happened. I feel as though it would be harder for people at school to know and question me about what happened again I just finished dealing with them when they asked why we broke up. We can still do our Chemistry project together. Just for a couple days while I sort all this out? She pleaded with him. I am sorry I have to go though I promised Ayrn I would be home for dinner. She told him gently wrapping arms around him in a tight hug and brushing lips against his cheek before moving easily from the spot and climbing down the large rock and onto the trail before. She jogged the trail realizing that it was starting to get dark and remembering that she had forgotten her shirt, though she did not go back she would be able to get it tomorrow she did not want to be late for dinner. She reached the car in record time and was back in the hotel parking lot in the matter of ten minutes. She waited for the elevator before deciding that it was taking too long and jogging up the stairs to the floor in which they lived on and reaching the door with a few minutes to spare and entering to notice that Ayrn and Erixic were just sitting down at the table. Dinner was uneventful and she passed into her room after to finish her homework and climb into bed. The morning came too early the next day but she had other things on her mind as she was abnormally quiet as she drove Taelix to school the next morning. When they parked even Emily seemed to notice that she was in a happier mood though she just told people that she was feeling good and she was over what had happened with her and Rev. Thats what they had all chalked it up to being for the last couple days anyways she was in a foul mood because of Rev and she was willing to allow them to believe that. She spotted the mans car approach the school. She waited in the hallway waiting for him to reach the bottom of the stairs before pushing him backwards into the shadows of the stairwell where the druggies and losers seemed to hang out though it was out of view for the rest of the students. Meet me out by my car after the first bell, don't allow anyone to see you. She did not risk kissing him though in the spur of the moment it seemed like something appropriate. She intended on skipping the day of school to spend time with the man if he was up for something like that, though she would see in a matter of moments. When the first bell rang and people were all hustling to their first class she grabbed the few bags she had and jogged out the front door, reaching the parking lot and unlocking her car without anyone seeing her and opening the drivers side to climb in.

A sigh was released when she began to speak, his hand falling from her face because it was obvious his attempt at negotiating had failed in changing her mind. At first, he listened to what she had to say only half heartedly; still firmly against keeping their dating again a secret, but when the pleading tone came into her voice, the man crumbled finally and nodded his agreement without hesitation. Ok P. Just don't take too long figuring it out. Ok? Staring at her intently, he let a small smile creep onto features just before she announced that she had to leave in order to get back home for dinner. Trying to hide his disappointment, he stood from his seated position and hugged her back, wishing he could kiss her but forcing himself to be satisfied with the peck on the cheek that she gave him right before walking away. Standing there still, he watched her as she walked away towards the edge of the rock where the hidden trail came up to the flat. Just before she disappeared, he took a step forward and whistled really loud, aiming at catching her attention so she would turn around and look back at him one last time before going. I'm glad you trust me. Even though you probably shouldn't. He yelled across the air at her, a sober expression across features while he watched and waited for her to leave. Once she was gone, he looked down at his feet only to see the shirt he had set in her lap lying there on the ground. Bending down, he picked it up, shaking his head and smirking before tossing it over his shoulder and making his own way back down the mountain to his car. Soon it would get too dark to stay up here because with the darkness came the cold and even if he felt like he could stay there all night, he would probably have frozen to death by morning. On his way back down, the words she had said kept running through his mind. Who would have thought she had such big secrets? It was good to know them; to have everything out in the open between them and yet, he could still hardly believe how the day had turned out. Nearly an hour ago he would have thought she would never speak to him again let alone trust him with things she had apparently never told anyone else. This thought stopped him, distracting him enough to where he tripped over a root that was sticking up from the ground, but he caught himself before he could fall onto his face. Did Taelix know all of what she had told him? He assumed that both Ayrn and Erixic knew, but did the other man? Shaking his head, he tried to shake the competitive feeling that found him whenever he thought of the girl's friend and yet it was so hard. True, she had told him that she had tried being with him and that it had not worked out, but neither of the guys liked each other much even if the fea was not involved in the middle of it all. Regardless of who else knew the information or not, he had gotten the second chance he wanted even if it was not under the exact circumstances that he would have liked. Arriving home, he found Maria had already cooked dinner and his family was waiting on him to eat since it was their last night at home before his parents left to go on the last leg of his father's tour. They ate their chicken alfredo pasta and Italian bread while exchanging some small talk but once it was over, the teenager excused himself to his room after promising his mother that he would be awake in time to see them off in the morning. He showered and got dressed for bed but was unusually awake so instead of getting into bed, he got his acoustic guitar from the rack where it sat in the corner of his room and moved towards the balcony with it; running his hands over the smooth wax surface as he remembered learning to play on that very guitar. Feeling the chill of the night the moment he stepped foot outside, the male retreated back indoors to pull on a pair of sweats over his boxers and fashioning himself with a thicker hoodie and some house shoes before walking back outside with the guitar in tow to sit down on a chair out there. Cradling it on his legs, he played a few strings then frowned when he learned it was out of tune. Pausing, he reached forwards on the neck to turn the tuning knobs till each string played with the sound he wanted. From there, he played a few of the slower songs he knew by heart and then, out of nowhere, started to string notes together. At first, he did it without noticing, but finally when he realized he had been playing the same beat over and over again, he paused and frowned before picking it up again. Running into the house, he found notebook paper and a pen then played his song over again, writing down the sheet music as he went. Too excited to let it go, the man went down to the studio and played the song on his custom guitar and slowly started to add words to the beat as well as adding in the part of other instruments. By the time his eyelids started to droop, he had almost finished the rough draft of his song, but resigned himself to completing it the next day as he climbed the stairs drearily and stripped out of his heavy clothes back to his boxers before falling onto the bed and going to sleep. The next morning, he woke up to his alarm and groaned, rolling over to pull the pillow over his head. His mom's voice, shrill even over the sound of his alarm, called him into action however as he lazily got out of the bed while yawning and shut off his alarm. He donned the clothes that he had worn the night before and headed down the stairs to find his dad taking the last of the luggage out to the car while his mom stood beside the door looking a little nervous as if not believing he would be there to say goodbye. She saw him and her eyes lit up with happiness, making the lad smile back at her despite the early morning. Coming up to her, he wrapped his arms around her and gave a tight hug that she was all too glad to return. After a moment, he stepped back and turned to his father, shaking the older man's hand before hugging him as well, but more briefly. Waving, he stood at the door as they got in the car and drove away, heading to the airport so they could fly to the next city where the tour bus would meet them. Once they had disappeared from sight, Revikr made his way back up stairs and got dressed and ready for school. On his way out the door, he replaced his acoustic guitar in its rack then jogged down the stairs and walked quickly to the garage to get into his car. From there, he drove to school, excited for the first time in many weeks to actually go because he would see her again. Funny how quickly things changed. Pulling up into the parking lot, he saw Pirzi's car already there. Pulling into his usual spot, he got out and began to look for her as he walked towards the school and into the building; nonchalantly of course. He was beginning to lose hope in seeing her when suddenly as he was walking by the stairs; he was pushed under them by a pretty strong person. Shocked and instantly on the defensive, the guitarist turned around to find the girl and instantly the mood changed, a mischievous smile reaching his eyes as it pulled at the edges of his kissers. Brows rose at her instructions, but he did not say a word as she turned from him to return back to the flow of students that were heading to their classes. Reaching out after her, he barely let his grip land on her wrist and fingertips brushed against the sensitive skin on the underside of her arm as she pulled away, the lord sending her a wink just in case she turned back around. He gave her a little bit of a head start so no one would see them coming out of the same dark hiding place. Continuing down the hall, he went to his locker just to kill time. Thankfully, the first bell rung soon after and he set about slipping out of the school. Moving without attracting attention, he blended with the crowd till he got to the service door for union men and left through there without anyone seeing him. From there, he had to take the long way around to the parking lot, but jogged there without attracting attention from the campus security. Finding her at her car, he moved around to the passenger's side and climbed in, shooting a pleased grin at her. Well, well, well. Didn't expect this idea to come from you. Hey if you want we can take my car. So if they are looking they won't see that you're skipping. Remembering from the night before her rap sheet, he figured she was already in deep shit with the dean and did not need to attract any more attention by breaking rules. He was in the hot seat himself, but really was only here for the high school education. Rev was already confident that his musical career would take care of him and his future.

She could not believe that she was the one to have come up with the idea of skipping school for the day in order to spend time with him when she had been the one that wanted to keep it low key. She knew that if she explained it all to Ayrn that the girl would be upset though she would understand since Pirzi had been on her best behavior and sometimes you just needed a mental health day, though she would not mention that it was with her cheating ex boyfriend who was now her boyfriend again. When she spotted him in the hallway though she knew that it was just what she needed to do for the day. After pulling him aside he seemed shocked at her words though did not even say a word not allowing people to see that they were together beneath the stairs tucked away in a dark corner that was usually used for other purposes. When she moved away from him and back into the hallway she felt her wrist get left behind and wondered if that meant that he wanted to say something so in turn she looked back to just catch the small wink that was intended for her before stepping out into the hallway. She knew what she would have to do for homework that night and stopped by her locker to grab the remaining books in which she did not take home the night previous. She debated going to the office and telling them that she was sick and heading home though she knew that it did not overly matter since it was not home where she intended on going and she would be able to explain it all to Ayrn when she arrived home that night. He climbed into her car and she realized that this was the first time that he had been inside it since she had gotten the vehicle since he had been pretty adamant about always picking her up which she did not mind since she did not always like to drive though today there was no changing her mind. He told her that if she wanted they could take his car so that she would not be caught skipping and she shook her head gently. It's fine I would rather drive. After all I know where we are going. She had been so good for the time that she was here she knew that this would not affect her with the dean since she knew that Ayrn would cover for her and tell them that she had been sick even if she ended up taking the brunt of it. Already she had her mind set on where they would be going for the morning, she knew that there was one movie place that would open before noon and show a matinee early and what better time to spend then to go to a movie when you would practically have the theatre to yourself? She turned to him in the car before they even moved, turning the ignition on so that it would be able to warm up and hopefully be spouting warm air before they even moved. So last time I checked. I do believe you still owe me a dinner. She said with a small smirk before putting the car in reverse and backing out of the parking spot, she drove a little slower since the roads were icy with the snow and she could not help but feel a small relief when they had left the school grounds like she had gotten away with something. She turned onto the main road that lead into town and took a parking spot in a nearly vacant lot by a movie theater. Stepping out of the car she grabbed her wallet from inside the center console of the car before waiting for him and while they were away from school she reached for his hand. Knowing that no one would be around that knew them. She did not glance his direction as she walked, the theater was warm through the door and she stepped up to the counter pulling out a couple bills to pay for a movie before receiving the stubs and heading in the direction of the room. Passing the stub to the male that stood accepting tickets from the small group of people stepping into the theater as she did so as well and took her seat near the back. A small grin covering features as she placed a hand on his knee and relaxed back against the seat.

Dome bobbed in a consenting nod as the man leaned back into the seat; relaxing while pulling the seat belt across his chest and waist to clip in the holster at his hip. He did not really care much who was driving, but had offered just in case she felt more comfortable with him in the driver's seat while they broke the rules. Skipping was not an uncommon employment for the male, but he could only guess from what he knew about her that the girl had never been one to ditch school. All he wanted was for her to feel comfortable about it so she would relax and have fun instead of being nervous. Once she had assured him that she was ok to drive, he felt free to finally look around the car; glancing around and feeling the upholstery of the seats as well as looking into the back to see the second seat as well as the rest of the car. Surprisingly, even though they had been dating a few weeks prior just after this vehicle was purchased, and yet, he had never been inside or seen it up close really. Perhaps it was just a guy thing, but he had always enjoyed picking her up in his car whenever they went anywhere. It felt like it was his duty; almost as if it was required of him just like it was of every other quality guy who was dating a respectful girl. Still, it was not awkward having her in the driver's seat. Instead, he found he was beginning to like just sitting there in the passenger seat without having to focus on the road and other cars around them. Brow rose at her when he found the last part of her speech; an expectant look crossing features while he waited for her to continue. And just where are we headed today? He asked her while she leaned forward to start the car so it would be warming up just as the parking lot security guy did a quick pass by the parking lot on the opposite end from the car so he did not see the smoke rising from her tail pipe as the exhaust was released. Eyes were directed out the window to follow the man in his white security utility vehicle to make sure they would not be spotted, but once the guard was gone from his sight, he turned back to look at the lass because she spoke, reminding him of the night that they had started down the bumpy road that led to them breaking up. Blocking out that part of it from his mind, he allowed the smile to grace his features while chuckling a little at the reminder; smirking across at her while replying. Oh yea that's right. I owe you dinner at the restaurant of your choice. Tonight? With a singular eyebrow cocked in her direction he waited for the answer as they successfully got out of the school parking lot like he thought they would. From there, the man focused on the roads, trying to guess where they were going although some of the turns they took were unfamiliar to him since it was still a relatively new area for him and he lived on the opposite side of town from where they were headed. The snow outside made everything beautiful and he could not help but to appreciate the sight, even if it made the driving slow. Pretty soon, they turned into a movie theatre and he sent her an amused expression while unbuckling his seat belt. Long legs allowed him to get out of the car when she moved to do so and once he pulled alongside her, he happily found comfort in the warmth of her hand pressed against his while fingers interlaced. As they began to walk in, he reached into his back pocket for his wallet in order to pay the tickets, but before he could produce the money to pay the guy behind the counter, the guy was already taking the girl's money and passing her their stubs in exchange. Sending a glare over at her, Revikr stuck his wallet back into his jeans pocket and moved with her into the theatre where they took their seats in the back row. You shouldn't pay for anything when you're with me. He whispered in her ear just before they took their seats as the house lights dimmed and the previews started to play. Glancing down to his knee where her hand rested, the lad moved his hand closest to her from his jacket that he had just unzipped so it would not be so hot in the seat and wiggled his way beneath her hand, interlacing his fingers with hers and bringing the back of her hand to his lips quickly before setting it back on his knee. They felt so casual, so right being back together again that it was hard for him to think of this as just a trial run. For Rev, it was a committed relationship already even though he knew in the back of his mind that Pirzi could decide that she did not want to trust him with her heart as well as her secrets.

He looked quite relaxed as he clipped the seatbelt on and looked around the car as if he was sizing it up. Sure it was not like the cars that he was used to driving though it was brand new and she was more then spoiled to have an adoptive parent that would buy her a brand new car like it. The snow made for a slow go though he did not seem to mind as his eye was on the scenery that passed by. The car was all wheel drive though and did not even slip once. It was all too easy to get out of the school lot and from there on she knew that there would be nothing that stopped her. He asked her where they were going and she shrugged. You will see soon enough. She uttered with a small smile and a glance in his direction. When she told him that he still owed her dinner he seemed to be reminded of the night and she felt bad knowing that it had not been her intention to remind him of something that was a bad memory in both their mind. She did not mention anything though not wanting to risk it. When he asked if she would be up for dinner tonight she looked back to him. Well we will first see how this goes and go from there. She told him gently even though she would like to just admit that she would love to go for dinner with him and spend as much time as possible with the male. She was not too sure if she was in the mood to go out but she knew that ordering in would be impossible since she thought that his parents were still in town and she knew that Ayrn and Erixic would be at home and she did not want to have to face them yet when she brought Rev back home. Though if she was asked directly about it she knew that she would not lie to them and she would tell them the truth. She knew that there was a large likelihood that she would just get hurt again though she knew that if she had not given him the second chance she would wonder for a long time whether or not they would have been able to work it out. She hoped that they would be able to respect that though she knew that Ayrn would try her best to understand. When they arrived in the parking lot she stepped out of the car careful not to slip on the ice that lined most of the parking lot. He eagerly took her hand as she offered it when they walked in the direction of the door. She walked fast so that she would soon be within the warmth of the building and out of the bitter cold that was starting to build in the air outside. The warmth was being pumped into the large area by vents on the top of the roof and aimed down towards them and she shivered lightly before reaching into her pocket to grab her money out long before he even had a chance to respond and he sent her a glare. He whispered to her that she was not supposed to pay for anything when they were out. And why is that? You don't need to pay for me. She stated. They stepped into the theater just as the lights started to dim and the previews soon started. She eased her own jacket down over her shoulders leaving her in just a hoody. Hand being casually place on his knee as a small smile was shot in his direction. She was about to get comfortable before she realized she should get to the washroom before the show started. I will be right back I need to go to the washroom. She moved easily past him and up the aisle. She stopped briefly in the washroom though did not linger there long like some girls that were out on dates. Hand ran casually through hair and hands washed was about it. She then stepped out into the hallway once more and was tempted by the aroma of buttery popcorn and could not help but buying some and two drinks. She knew that he would not be pleased about this either though that was too bad. She produced the ticket stub to show the guy at the front and was allowed back into the dark theater, eyes adjusting nearly instantly to lead her back to where they had been sitting at the back and a small smirk fell on rose kissers as she took her spot beside him and handed him the drink before placing the popcorn in her lap. She had a strange habit while at the theater and soon shoes were discarded to prop her feet up beneath her. Head was rested on his shoulder as she soon relaxed into a comfortable position that she would not be squirming from. As soon as he looked away a devious smirk remained on kissers as she picked a piece of popcorn out of the bag and tossed it lightly at him, watching as it hit him before turning back to the movie with an innocent look plastered on features.

Easily, he covered the wince that came with her reminder that this was just a trial run by lifting his hand and running it through his forehead length blonde hair while turning to glance out the window as they pulled out of the parking lot. Alright yea. He replied with a voice as calm as he could muster. Damn Rev needed to stop letting her get to him so much. The way everything she did affected him was both frustrating and awe inspiring at the same time. She could probably get him to do back flips like a trained monkey if she wanted to, but he knew that situation was most unlikely. Pirzi didn't ask anything from him and it was aggravating as hell. The lass did not need him or his company; did not want his fancy cars or nearly bottomless pocket book. Hell, she had stolen a car that was worth well over a hundred thousand and yet had brought it back to him in perfect condition as if it were nothing. She seriously amazed him without even attempting to try. If he did not know himself better, he would have been questioning whether he was beginning to develop serious, be-together-even-after-high-school feelings for this woman. That would be one major problem. Visibly jerking himself out of his thought as he pushed the idea aside, he sighed and lifted his arm to rest upon the car's doors arm rest; fingers drumming a nice little beat along to the music that flowed softly from the radio. They passed the drive quietly then pulled up to the theatre where she paid for their tickets against the dating code. Although it would be obvious to her that he was displeased the moment that it happened due to the way his eyes were boring into her back, he waited until they were inside the theatre, taking their seats, before voicing his aversion to it. It was then that he realized that she had known he would not take her paying for the tickets well and silently he cursed her for knowing exactly how and where to push his buttons. Low, grumbles left his throat at her reply as he took his seat, settling against the not surprisingly uncomfortable movie chair that felt like it had been sat in by an overly obese man every day for the past hundred years its cushions were so worn down. No, of course not. I don't need to do anything for you. Bitterly, he released audible words out from under his breath at an octave where no ordinary human would have heard them, but because she had not told him, he did not know that because she was a shifter, her senses were heightened. Trying to release the usual frustration that rose up within him at the stubborn woman's display of her independence, he shifted in his seat in an attempt to be comfortable so they could just enjoy the movie in peace. Thankfully, it was an action movie, not a chick flick, so he found a little satisfaction that she was thinking of him ahead of time. Or maybe the movie choice had nothing to do with him. Perhaps she had just wanted to see this movie instead of some sappy tear jerker that brought up emotions that she would have rather be dormant around him. His unwarranted anger flared up again just as he was about to get it under controlled and he grinded his teeth, wishing he was back in school instead of on this little date with her. Already his mood was in the shitter and if things kept progressing the way they were now, this day would go from excellent to downright horrible in a matter of hours for the both of them. That was the problem with him being a hot head. She could set him off like a match to gasoline with the littlest thing and his mouth was hard to chain and that tended to ignite a fire in her as well. The last thing he wanted right now was to screw up his second chance so he decided that if things did not cool off in a little while, he would have to tell her they needed to do this another time. Just then, she excused herself to the bathroom and he breathed a small sigh of relief, glad to have the opportunity to calm down so he would not blow his top. For a while, he sat in the theatre paying attention to the previews as they rolled across the screen in a completely relaxed attitude, but then the movie started and he began to wonder where she had gone off to. Surely a trip to the washroom did not take this long. Maybe she had not gotten enough of humiliating him. Maybe she had made the excuse of going to the bathroom in order to ditch him in the theatre by himself so she could drive back to school and gossip about how she had tricked him once again. The idea hit him like a sledge hammer and stole the breath from his lips. Damn it he had been fooled again. With rage and resentment fueling him, he moved to stand and stomp down the stairs just when he caught a flash of her coming up them towards him when a bomb went off on the big screen to flood the room with light. Calming again, he slowly sank down back into his seat, confident that she had not seen him, but then he noticed what she was toting in her arms. Glaring at her as she sat down then handed over his drink to him, he could see the self satisfied smirk upon her features and glowered at her, but taking the drink a little roughly to set it in the holder on the arm rest. Now she was doing it just to get at him there was no doubt in his mind once he had seen that look upon her features. Determined to not let her see how much it bothered him, he shifted to lean in the opposite direction from her, elbow propping up against the arm rest while chin fell to be held in his hands grasp. Acting totally absorbed in the movie, the lad looked anywhere else but at her up until the point where he felt something hit his face then fall to his lap. Jerking to sit up, he frowned then moved his hand to pick up what had fallen into his lap, staring with a confused expression at the kernel of popcorn before it hit him what had been done. Glaring across the way at her, the bloke took aim carefully and managed to get the kernel lodged in between her chest and her hoodie, grinning triumphantly as he continued to watch her, waiting for the next move with a devilish twinkle to his eyes.
