The strong attraction between the two of them was like things that were only seen in movies and chessy romantic movies at that, the ones where you wanted to gag after watching the ending, she had thought that it was all a hoax that things like that never existed but apparently she had been wrong, so very wrong. She felt that way about him and there was no changing, there was nothing in the world that was too big for them to deal with they could get through anything as long as they were together. United they were a force that could not be reckoned with but she could not help but think if either of them was missing from the equation it would be a whole new story of which no one would like the ending. Cheesy yes she knew but she was only prepared to admit this to herself and her future husband to be and knew that he was feeling the exact same thing and he had even more unlikely to understand it, he was a guy after all and they were not known for knowing what their feelings were or how to deal with them. This was something that she knew that she was not going to be able to change, after all there was a point in time when they were not even in a relationship when she had tried to deny what was going on with the two of them and it turned out that they were drawn even closer together, and that had been the first time that they had come to the safehouse just after the demon experience with Conner and the loss of her car. None of which she regretted because if it meant that it was one of the things that led to being with Rylen then none of it mattered, it was just a car and she had been far too attached to the thing anyways she needed to let go of the hope that her father would ever return and be able to answer allt the questions that she had and the car was the one last tie to him that she had not been willing to give up. She was going to forget about him though she promised herself that she owed it to herself and now to Rylen since the man in her life was much more important than someone who had abandoned her as a young child. Since she had gone though all the years of school she had seen the high school relationships and while she might not have been involved in any herself she had observed enough to know that the love that they shared was nothing like it. A lot of the people that were together in high school were toxic to one another feeding on others bad natures, her and Rylen well she truly believed that they were better people when they were around one another. Both their personalities seemed to tone down as she was known to be the hot headed girl of the school that no one really dared to talk to and now she was almost amicable if someone decided to speak to her. That was not going to change the fiery personality though that seemed to come with the tinge of the girls hair. While she had wished that they would not have been forced to move out of the place that she knew and loved and grew up in in the way that they had to she knew that there was so much out there and away from the town that it was something that was going to happen inevitably. She was not the type to want to stay in one spot her entire life since she would feel as though she was cheating herself. There was so much to see and so much to be a part of that she did not want to deny either of them the privilege and now there was nothing that was really holding them back and the new school was really something that she was excited about it was the next chapter of their life. She enjoyed joking with him and neither of them seemed to take it too seriously especially when they were talking about the changing room incident and she still was able to remember the look that had crossed his face when it all happened, she appreciated that she had been able to make him feel this way and thoroughly enjoyed the tension that had been hovering around them that entire trip when he kept telling her that he was going to be leaving and not to get attached and yet she was falling for him and could not help it. While Rae was not one to admit that she needed anyone this man was special to her and she would admit it to him, there was no question about her wanting to be around him but she really did feel like in the last little while she had been dependant on their relationship and she did need him there with her. In the moment that she had pulled her hand back the only reason that she had done so was because she felt as though he was doing it because it was something that she wanted though there was a small glimmer of disappointment as she did so, so when they were done making their orders she did take the time when they waitress had gone to take his hand back in hers. He grinned at her as she kissed the back of his hand and this made her feel a little better and almost as though she had been able to make it up to him. A nice feeling that was for sure. While she might have liked a wedding that was a little larger than what they had decided on at the same time she did not feel as though she was close enough with the people of her high school for her to share her special day with them, Rylen was really the only one that knew the entire truth of her being so therefore she would feel like she would be cheating the people of the high school since they had seen a side of her that was in all honesty just an act and he was the only one that mattered to her. He then asked her if she knew what she was going to be interested in in the college and she shrugged lightly. In high school I never really had decided, just kept my marks high enough that I had a lot of options. My mother had always told me that I would be a good lawyer but I just don’t picture myself as one. What about you? She asked quietly with her eyes fixed on him.

Rylen never had actually made it through an entire romantic movie or anything close to one since the few times he had been drug into them, he generally fell asleep within the first half hour or left by then. Still he knew the things that came along with them, the stereotypes and all the bull shit he had never even came close to believing. Never had he been close to believing in love, even before falling. To him it had been something of distaste, a weakness that lead to consequences that he did not believe in either. While watching from heaven, he had seen the things people did for 'love'; all of which he failed to understand. Now things were different in his eyes as there was an exception for him, that would be Larae needless to say. This being said, it definitely did not mean he was going to turn into some romantic Romeo overnight or in general really and he hoped the girl did know this. He had a hunch though, knowing Rae that she would not expect such things to come into the light and well he also had a feeling that she could really care less. That was the thing, she did not try to change him in any way and this was definitely nice as she knew very well who she was dealing with. On his own terms he had changed though this was not permanent and his attitude just tended to generally differ while around her. Though when he was with his usual crowd, he was still the same arrogant bastard as before. They both had changed as well as both had learned a bit of patience and were not quite so fiery tempered as they were known to be before the fact that they had gotten together. He was still able to remember things as though it were only yesterday that they had been at one another's throats and now here they were, both wanting to get married as soon as possible. Strange, how time can change things as well as revelations. Already they had had their ups and downs at more extremes than the average couple yet they had overcome each of those times with little issue. Naturally, Rylen could imagine the two of them fighting in the future but it would take a whole hell of a lot to tear them apart entirely he believed. Separation had proved to be very incorrigible for them and for now it appeared as though that was not about to be in the cards for them. Between he and Rae, the two could turn out to be quite powerful with whatever they might face. That was not something to focus on anyway seeing as world domination had never been in Rylen's plans. He actually did have plans for them now; to get married and be happy. Simple, yes, though he was going to stick to this wholeheartedly. Lately he had noticed that she did not even bring up her father and he wondered if she had stopped her search for him. If so, he thought it was good, but not in a bad way. Sometimes it was just time to move on, something that they could not control. Though he understand her search for closure at least and either way, he was there for her.He wanted to help with anything he was possible of. As they sat at the table and she had grabbed his hand, it had been a moment of pure bliss to him as he was thinking again how much this red-headed girl meant to him exactly. It was more than he ever though was possible in terms of Rylen though clearly it had proved otherwise. They were moving forward in life, together. They had plans of getting married and now the school was a more realistic deal as well. Out of curiosity he had been prompted to ask what her plans were for the college and he was truly interested in her response. Brow peaked in response as she said something about her mother wanting her to be a lawyer which he could not see too much. Rae was good at arguing and all, but that job just was not something that would suit her, he believed. Really? I think you are far too lively for a job as boring as that. He teased with a grin before shrugging lightly and pausing while waiting to think of what exactly he might be interested in. To tell the truth, I have not the slightest clue. For some reason I always thought that working on cars would turn out to be a realistic career which I know better now. I'm going to have to figure out something soon. They did have several courses that caught my eye though. He admitted lightly, thinking this over again but still at a loss as to what direction he might go. The waitress served their food to them and he slowly withdrew his hand with a small smile before enjoying the dinner that turned out to be quite tasteful. As they had finished up and he had taken care of the bill, he took her hand on the way out the door and glanced to her with a small grin. I'm half tempted to take you out to the club though I don't know that that would be the greatest of all plans for the two of us. Lyrics uttered playfully.

She never would have thought that she would have ever been thinking romantic thoughts for someone, going out of her way to know that she made their life a little better every day and looking over the small things that seemed to make the both of them happy, she was not some sappy romantic and yet around him this was not true, she found herself reduced to a blabbering idiot that sounded like just every other teenage girl that she had been forced to watch through some of the acquaintances she had back in high school, she would never make this public knowledge but she was different around him and she was not afraid for him to see that because she was able to sense that he was not the same either. They cared about one another, she cared for him far more than she had ever cared for anything, she was so willing to start a new life with him that there had never been another thought of finding her father again and the new start that was going to mean their marriage seemed like a perfect time for her to let go of that obsession an focus on the things that were going to matter, working things through with Rylen. Sure they were going to have their rough patches after all every couple did but there was no question on her mind that they were just going to get through this and be even stronger at the end. Plus the rough patches that they tended to have were not really in the form of fights between them, sure they had battled at the beginning but ever since they had been together the form of rough patches had been the times where there had been things that life had thrown in to keep them on their toes and things that they needed to help each other through, things that they were only going to get through to be stronger together. She was always up for the challenge and Rylen was well worth it in her mind. Even as they were sitting there at dinner together she could not help but run through in her mind the things that this was going to mean when they did get married, it was such a big commitment and yet while she had never picture either of them as being people to settle down she was not having a problem in picturing it, perhaps that was what love was, it turned people into completely different personalities when they were together that they did things that they never thought were ever going to happen. As she reached for his hand over the table she shot him a smile that shone from ear to ear and just before the waitress came back she spoke softly. I’m excited, Rylen. She told him quietly and left the comment at that when the waitress asked for their orders and they were then left to have a small bit of conversation before their food arrived and he stated that she was too lively for a job as a lawyer and she nodded. Secretly I have always wanted to run my own garage, though I know my mom would have had a break down if she ever knew that, she had high hopes for me that included many years of schooling. She said with a small chuckle, though she had always loved working on cars and that was really her passion since they were like large puzzles to her. There is nothing wrong with working with cars. She uttered gently when he told her that he had always thought that he was going to work in that field, but there would be a point that she did not want to work for someone while working on cars, she wanted to own her own place no matter what that was going to mean so perhaps what she would take when she went to school would be business courses that would lead her in that direction, who knows perhaps it would even be something that the two of them could do together, after all she loved spending time with her future husband and the two of them both loved to work on cars and while they might have to work a little harder she knew that it would be rewarding and something that would pay off in the end, all you needed to do was make sure that you made your name by customizing a few amazing cars and there would be people knocking down the door to bring you their projects, she had even made her name for herself when she worked back in the city that she lived in, at the same time she knew that it was going to take a little while since she needed to keep a low profile until her mother let go of the search for her, so it would be essential for her to go to the school and see if this was something that she really wanted to do. The food was amazing when it arrived and they finished eating soon enough and were on their way out when he commented that he was tempted to take her to the club and her eyes were rolled as she looked up at him with a grin. I don’t mind being a you tube star, but how about we save that for tomorrow night after everything seems to calm down. I hate to say it but I am exhausted after these past few days. She uttered truthfully, all she wanted was to go back to the safe house for the time being and curl up beside him. On the ride back she was even starting to feel as though she was fading and kept almost nodding off, so after the walk back to their room she changed quickly and brushed her teeth in order to get ready for bed before laying under the covers and immediately falling asleep, she had missed out on so much sleep lately with everything happening that she did not dream that night, waking up early though as always she knew that she needed to get some things done before they were going to set off to see the school and washing all the clothes that she managed to grab from her mother’s house was first on the list so therefore she grabbed the Camaro’s keys off the bedside table, wanting to finish as early as possible not wanting to miss a moment with Rylen as she jogged off to the place that it was parked pleased to see that it was still sitting there idle, she started the car and drove around until she managed to find an empty looking building with a Laundromat sign after she visited the local gas station to get some change, she was able to dominate the entire group of washing machines so that it would only be one load as she sat on the bench provided waiting patiently for all the clothes to finish and go in the dryer. This would get rid of the smoke smell and actually give her a variety of clothing that she would be able to wear. It only managed to take her a little more of an hour since she was acting as though she was on mission and it was all folded and placed back in their respective baskets before returning to the safe house to bring some of the clothes that she felt like she was going to need with her back into their room and leaping on the bed beside him with a small smirk as she lowered herself down to his level and kissed him. Morning. She chimed cheerfully poking him gently in the ribs knowing that she would be the only one that would ever get away with things like this.

First he had gotten his first 'legitimate' girlfriend(the record for the others was simply a matter of weeks since Rylen got tired of them) and now he was dead set on the idea of marrying her and going to some immortal school. Extremely strange behavior for Rylen but don't they always say that love makes you do stupid things? Anything that assured him that Larae was going to stay right beside him was not the least bit stupid in the man's personal opinion as he was entirely devoted and committed to this girl. The sum of it was all quite funny since it had not exactly added up in the beginning but now things were definitely flowing in the correct direction as he was happier than he could ever remember. In his view, he was going to be the luckiest man on earth seeing as he knew that it was a fact that no one was ever going to have nearly as stunning a wife as he was after they did get married. He was absolutely ecstatic about this and would be up until it happened, well he still would be after the fact as well. Grin was spreading across his lips as she told him that she was excited and he nodded in agreement, feeling the very same. I am also. Maybe they were just kids though they were very mature in this way as they knew exactly what it was that they wanted. Squeezing her hand with a smile, they placed orders and the conversation did not take long before switching to the school due to mutual curiosity on the subject. Tomorrow they would be able to find out more information and settle things there a bit more.He was not certain about what he was going to look into particularly but at least he did not have to decide quite this moment, he would figure that out a little bit later. Brow rose when she stated that she secretly wanted to run her own garage and he could not help but chuckle at this information. Well then, that is definitely one more thing we have in common. He uttered with a broad smile as he had thought about the same dream on multiple occasions though it still had yet to happen of course. Maybe it would happen one day, or maybe it wouldn't. It was simply something he had thought of and considered and maybe he would work towards that goal with his soon to be wife as well. They were both very interested in cars and that had been something that had pulled them together at one point as well and he still adored her knowledge of the subject since it had impressed him several times. Small shrug overtook shoulders when she stated that there was nothing wrong with working on cars, he knew this was true but still felt that it was better off as a side thing for him for now since he had the ability to apply himself in another direction. He had also had a good reputation at the garage in which he worked with as he was very precise and good at imagining the cars as he wanted them and always made them turn out exactly as planned. This was where he really did use those planning skills that he had for the most part. The dinner turned out to be fantastic and he jokingly made the comment of taking her out for the night and nodded when she explained to him that she was exhausted which he understood and had known as that could wait of course. He wanted for her to be able to rest up as that was important. They were quiet while he was driving back and he would glance over occasionally to see that she had drifted off here and there and walked with her to their room and took the bathroom after her to change and brush his teeth before they would go to bed.Though she had already fell asleep when he climbed into the bed, arm was gently rested along her side and remained there as he fell asleep to the rhythm of her steady breathing. He slept quite peacefully that night due to a mixture of exhaustion and as well as sleeping was always easier when he had Larae right there beside him. When she had left in the morning, he did not stir in the least as he was quite difficult to awake usually. What did disturb him was the sudden change in weight on the mattress as she hoped on it and one eye was opened in a narrow slit with a grunt before rolling away from her. As she poked at his ribs, body squirmed in reply and he was very much awake now as he was quick to seize her wrists and look down at her with an accomplished smirk. She was literally the only one who would ever be able to do this without being maimed in some way. Good morning. After kissing her lightly on the cheek, he released his grip only to wrap arms around her and pull her closer. And how are you on this lovely day? Amused gleam was apparent in grey eyes as he watched her and waited patiently for a response. Today was definitely going to be a large step forward for them as they would be looking into the school again and depending on time, trying to settle something in order to get married as well. With this in mind, broad smile was on features since this was definitely something to look forward to for him.

She would be silly to not admit that she had thought of it before, what if the two of them opened a garage together? I mean it would be a dream come true with her and surely they would be able to make enough money to live on and it would not take long for their name to be known around wherever this happened but she knew that she did owe it to herself to go to college and at least see if there was something that managed to catch her interest since she had worked so hard when she had been in school to make the grades that she did and plus what happened if she ever got hurt working on cars and was not able to do something quite that physical, she did not want to be sentenced to the rest of her life working at some fast food restaurant flipping burgers, that was simply not something that she would stoop to so therefore she needed back up plan, she always needed something to fall back on since she was always thinking and planning for things like this, she did not like anything but the things that were related to Rylen to be unexpected in her life, Rylen was enough of a surprise to both of them and enough to shock her system for the time being. She was finding that it was very nice sitting across from him at the restaurant with the knowledge that it was only going to be a little while until their relationship was going to be taken to a new level, they were going to be married, so why was she not nervous? It was like marrying a best friend along with a protector with the sparks and passion of a lover, I mean you did not get any more lucky than that not in her mind. Rylen to her was absolutely perfect, she had seen this in him since they had been together and she had even seen glimmers of it when they were getting to know one another and did not like one another that had been what drew her to him and what caused her to want to be close with him, wanted more. She knew that by the time she was back at the room she was completely out of it and she was by far asleep by the time he was even in the bathroom and just the knowledge that he was around was enough for her to fall into an easy and peaceful sleep where she did not worry about anything and she awoke in the morning to make sure that she did not disturb him as she crawled out of bed, he knew that she was an early riser by now so even if he did wake up when she was away she was sure that it would not matter and he would realize that she was just out doing something and really she did not think that it was very likely that he was going to be up before she got back, he was a man after all and seemed to like sleeping in, she was only gone a little more than an hour and a half and it would still be considered very early for him when she arrived back and changed from the only clothes that had been clean and after her shower she was leaping onto the bed where he was still laying. She half expected to get punched just from a natural instinct but before there was any reaction at all his eyes fluttered open as he glared at her and this caused her to smile even wider. He reached for and grabbed her wrists and she did not even struggle knowing that she deserved this seeing as she had been poking him and simply allowed herself to surrender, something that was not common in Rae since she would much rather be too stubborn and fight to the death than ever admit defeat, but once again Rylen was the exception to almost every rule in her book. She was pulled back to the bed where he asked her how she was today and she shrugged. Rather bored, and I could not allow you to sleep any longer or else I was going to go crazy. She said with a smile. Much better now that I have someone that will amuse me. She chuckled looking back at him. She leapt back up from where she had been sitting. But you need to get your butt out of bed before you sleep away the rest of the day and I will go get breakfast. She uttered quickly and really did not even give him the time to respond before she was on her way to the door, seeming to have forgotten something and taking a few quick steps back to where he was laying to kiss him lightly on the lips and then pleased with herself and feeling as though she was no longer forgetting something moved towards the door where she found a restaurant that would give her take out and waited patiently for breakfast before bringing it all back to the room and sitting down at the small table in the corner of the room.

Before Rae, he had been the type that did not believe in relationships and thought girls to be practically disposable but she had definitely changed his view on this entirely as he was starting to get impatient on the idea of marryin now. Something was definitely not the same in Rylen now, this was very strange behavior for him but he was not about to put an end to it as he was perfectly content now. He could not imagine another girl being comparable to the one he had in his life, the only person who he would ever admit to NEEDING. He was addicted to her, maybe in a pitiful way at some points as it just felt so wrong without her anywhere near him. He absolutely adored her and wanted her with a passion that was entirely undeniable. Once he had start getting his life to where it was a bit more on the right track, he never consider the idea of going to school or getting a more 'practical' job then the garage. His entire plan had been basically to bum through his life, however long that was supposed to last. Now he wanted to have plans, wanted to continue things so that there would be more of a future for himself. Him and Larae running their own garage would be nothing but perfect in his mind and if it ever came to that, he would be entirely happy with his life as it would involved two things that he loved though if it didn't happen, it didn't. He was very much protective of Rae, a part of him always had been in an indescribable way ever since the first incident where she had been attacked. Maybe this was because he felt so guilty about it and blamed it on himself but it was still something he could not deny. What had drove him nuts had been the attraction to her when he was convinced he did not like her, thus leading to the worst personality of him where he had been a flat out jackass to her and done nothing but antagonize her for some time. The way they had gone round and round now proceeded to amuse him as he knew it was never going to go back to anything close to that again. They loved one another and had admitted to exactly that; what they had was real and every part of Rylen believed this entirely. The exhaustion she was battling was very obvious and he was not surprised that she had fallen asleep before he made it to bed but he still wrapped an arm lightly around her and kissed her forehead, out of habit now. Soft sigh came from him before drifting off as well. When he rolled over and found her gone the following morning, he was not overly surprised as he knew her to be an early riser and usually she always came up with something to do and he still had yet to figure out how exactly it was that she managed to do that. But he managed to drift back to sleep and this time when he woke up it was due to Rae suddenly jumping on the bed before poking at him in an attempt to provoke him into waking up. He retaliated to this by grabbing her wrists and was a bit disappointed as she did not even struggle with him although this was soon disregarded as she started to speak. Lips were pressed to the top of her head for a moment before he asked about her day and she rattled off to him that it had been boring thus far until now that she had found amusement. Brow rose in reply to this as he was not sure whether or not this was to be considered a good thing or not for him. I do not know how I feel about that.Since when am I some sort of entertainer? I do not recall that in the job description. He chuckled lightly before letting her go as she moved away from him. Eyes were rolled with an exhausted sigh as she told him that he needed to get his butt out of bed and he was not quite to that point yet as she moved away with saying something about breakfast. Small grin appeared on features as she had returned to kiss him before leaving for real this time. Slowly he got out of bed and took a shower before dressing in a black v-neck and a pair of decent jeans. By this time she had already returned with breakfast and was sitting down to eat and he was flattered at this though he reminded himself that he needed to be the one to do such things as well; he really needed to start getting up a bit earlier as it would not kill him. Thanks. He uttered quietly. After they had finished with their breakfast, he grinned over at her coyly. Ready to visit Hogwarts? He teased her lightly, just wanting to get the school figured out so he could get to figuring out the details of when they would get married. He had not clue why he was looking forward to this so much but he was and could not help so. Sure he looked forward to the school as that would be a big thing for the two of them as well.

It was amazing how much one person was able to change your view on everything since she had never been the type to be involved with relationships either, sure she had had a few boyfriend but they were less than serious and they lasted a week at most, she could not stand the fact that they were clingy and really she did not enjoy having to see the one person all the time and got tired of them, she could never get tired of Rylen though, he was a static part of her life that she was realizing that she was not going to ever want to be away from. Bad things happened when the two of them were not together and were not ready to admit their feelings for one another, she was more reliant on him than she wanted to admit and the feeling of knowing that he would always be on her side and there to back her up was unbelievable, she wanted to be there for him as much as he had been for her and provide the same unconditional support that he had been doing since the two of them had met, well maybe after the first little bit when she actually started to get along. She could sense the change in him that had occurred and she was quite glad, when she had first met him when the two had been in their senior year in high school he had always seemed like the type that she hated the people that coasted through life without a real purpose and allowed all the other people around them to make the changes that were needed in order for survival and really that was no way to live since there was nothing to be proud of, now he was looking at going to school with her, something that was so exciting and he was willing to make changes that they needed in order for the both of them to be happy with their lives and to tell the truth she was much more than happy with the way that things were working out between them and still she would wake up every morning when she was with him and wonder if it had all just been a dream or if this was really how perfect her life seemed to be turning. She was left with awhile to think about this seeing as she was in the Laundromat and waiting for the clothes that she had just sent through the washer to be finished before she would be able to return to the room where he was sleeping which was probably a good thing since she knew that if she was there she would not be able to resist waking him up and she knew that he liked to sleep in. She was not going to be one of those crazies that insist that he get up at the same time as her, some people needed to sleep more and she did enjoy the solitude of her mornings where she was able to get things accomplished since the moment that he awoke she was sure that her sole attention was going to be on him and nothing else was really going to matter anymore. She allowed him to grab her wrists with a small grin knowing that her submitting was not going to be something that he was used to since even when they were together she tended to be quite strong willed and the two of them tended to fight for domination even though it was a silent and peaceful waging war, she attributed this to the passion that passed between the two of them and it only seemed to spark it and ignite it. She laughed when he commented that he was not too sure if entertaining her was in the job description and a cheeky grin crossed her face when she then looked at him with a challenging look and a shrug rolled through her shoulders. Well I guess if you won’t entertain me I am sure there are many people who would be willing. She uttered with a light tone. But then a serious look crossed her face. Though none of them would meet the standard, only you. She pouted for a moment before shifting her body close to him when he pulled her close and kissed the top of her head. She ignored the fact that he was being dramatic when she moved away and stood back up and told him that he needed to get out of bed but she was not going to sit there and wait for him when she then moved back to the door and told him that she was going to get them breakfast and returned not too long later with their breakfast and set it at the table and he uttered thank you to which she just smiled. After asking her if she was ready to visit Hogwarts eyes were rolled. You are bad Rylen. She uttered but could not resist chuckling lightly. Slipping her fingers through his she walked with him to the car where it was hidden in the underground parkade not too far from the safe house and she settled in the passengers seat.

Rylen was already trying to think how things were going to work in the future months for the two of them. He was definitely going to step up and make sure to take care of things as much as he could since he wanted nothing more than for Larae to be happy. He adored her and could not bear to think what it would happen if he lost her as there was no one that held anywhere close to the importance she did for him. Never had he allowed someone to get so close to him nor had he ever become so attached to someone as he had with the girl. Sure it had still taken him time to admit the way he had felt about her seeing as he had avoided it in thinking it was best, but that had never done any good for him. Even though he had yet to tell her of this, he was creating a large risk for himself by asking her to marry him.It was not exactly okay for a fallen angel to become involved with anyone, let alone marry someone; mortal or immortal. This would something he would have to cross in a matter of time but for now he just needed to stop thinking about that so much as it would come together in time and there was no rush really, he was just getting ahead of himself with these thoughts. He had Rae and this was all that would ever matter to him. Nothing was ever going to come between them, this he was going to make absolutely sure of. They would always be able to make things work, he was certain about this as they had already faced some major events and really the two did not get into fights. There was an understanding for them as a couple, they were understanding of one another and were not the type to try and going to try to force them to change the way they were. He was also dependent on their relationship which was so strange to him since his world had only revolved around himself alone.Despite not being a morning person, he could not help but smile when it was Rae that had come into the room to wake him up. This he could get used to as he pulled her close to him after their joking around. Playful glare was directed towards her as she made a comment about being able to find others who would entertain her and though he knew she was joking, he still was not fond of this statement as it triggered the protectiveness in him. As she spoke up to tell him that no one could match him, teasing smirk came to lips. Frown crossed features as she moved away and he then went to getting out of bed and changing into clothes as well as brushing his teeth to prepare for the day. When he was looking presentable enough and awake enough, ate the breakfast she had fetched for the two of them before discarding the garbage and teasing her about the school being Hogwarts. Rolling his eyes at her as well due to the comment he could not refrain from chuckling at her. I know I am, but that's why you love me oh so much. You cannot deny that. Winking at her as she took his hand and they walked together to where she had stashed the car over night. Perfectly remembering the way to the school, he drove the short while before turning down the winding drive that lead them to it. This time he was more at ease with the idea, not as suspicious about it. Arm was wrapped around her shoulders as they walked inside, this time requesting for someone who handled registration and it turned out to be the same guide as they had before but this time they were ushered into a large office with some brochures handed out before them as the staff member announced himself as Andrew. Being asked a few questions, Rylen began to consider them although knew that in terms of transcripts he was definitely going to have to figure something out. Briefly explaining a quick summary of his situation, he was informed that he would be able to take a standardized type test in order to test into the school without a transcript record. This was find with Rylen as he was not afraid of taking a test and was quite confident about his own skills. They were passed a course list and scanning over it, he was quite interested yet again with the available options though did not want to speak up for himself until he knew Rae's own thoughts and what exactly she was going to be doing as he preferred to stick closer to her courses but then again maybe that was a little bit too much. Looking again at the different options, he was quite curious to see what the different degrees entailed as well since there were a lot of those that were average types but definitely those that were strictly immortal. He had never thought something like this was possible, even with his knowledge of the immortal world. The IPA? Rylen question with a raise of his brow towards the person siting before them. He was familiar with the acronym of course but was a bit shocked by the fact that there were courses to assist in joining the agency. The Immortal Protection Agency? We offer a few classes that follow curriculum for those who are interested in becoming a part of it. Nodding, he processed this information but continued to look over the other options available before glancing in Rae's direction to understand her thoughts on the matter of all of this since it was a bit different and she probably had questions of her own to add on.

There was a part of even the strongest looking person that was weak and even though Rae appeared to be stone cold and unaffected by everything on the outside there was also a large part of her that was insecure and always had been and that was one of the reasons that she had always been scared to allow someone to be close with her, she had been scared that they would finally see through it and see her for the weak person that she thought that she was underneath all this charade, she was independent and always had been but a lot of the exterior that she put on she felt was a hoax, the distance kept between herself any anyone else was a smoke screen to hide the reality that she did not think that she was capable of trusting someone not that she did not want to and this became even more apparent when she met Rylen. She had been so adamant about not trusting him and had been so sure that he was the enemy that when he had proved to be the one that she could rely on it was something that was so foreign that even she was caught by surprise when she finally did end up letting him in and closer than anyone else had ever been she realized that he was what was making her feel strong again, he was the one that was making her confident. She had not even begun to think of the technicalities of this, she did not know what it meant for him as a fallen angel and whether this was alright but yet that was another hurdle that they would cross when the time came and therefore it would not be something that either of them should be worrying about, though she was sure that if she knew that it meant that he would be in danger that she would tell him that there was no need for them to be married and that they could just continue on with their lives in the way that they were now since what was really important was the fact that they knew how each other felt and neither of them were going to back out of that anymore, she had scared him when she tried to push him away at the asylum and he had scared her when he had left so therefore they were even and knew what it was like to lose each other and knew enough that they were not going to want this to happen. She had learnt from a young age to only depend on yourself so it was amazing to her that it only took him this amount of time for him to penetrate the walls of her life and cause her to become dependant on him it was very odd to her but she also knew that this was something that she was adjusting to easily and that he was feeling the same way, to her as long as the feelings between them were always mutual they were nowhere near as scary as if only one of them harbored them. When she stated that she was sure that she could find someone else to amuse her even though the two of them both knew that this was a joke the protective instinct cropped up in him and caused her to smile, it was a nice feeling to have someone always watching over you and not only that but always wanting to be the only one in your company, another thing that she reciprocated. After moving out of the room to give him time and space for him to get ready for the day since she did not want to be seen as annoying she then brought back the breakfast that she had bought, After they finished and then she stepped up to join him in walking to the door he asked her if she was ready to go to Hogwarts and she made the comment that he was ridiculous and rolled her eyes when he told her that it was why she loved him and laughed lightly. Yes I guess you are right about that even though I am not too sure if I want to admit it. She uttered with a devious glance. He seemed as though he was quite happy as together the two of them walked in the direction of the office once they arrived and they were ushered into a large office with the same person who had given them the tour the time that they were there before and she was glad she knew that she would be able to get ahold of her transcripts rather easily since she still had friends back in the school and therefore they would be able to pick them up for her discreetly without anyone being suspicious or having to tell the school that she was on the run since her mother thought that she was some insane pyromaniac. When she looked over the courses that they were handed her eyes landed immediately at the IPA one and she was glad that he seemed to question it as well because she wanted to know what it was but did not want to sound as though she was so far out of the world and when they talked about the Immortal Protection Agency she was interested for sure and especially if they were working on things like explaining things to children that were like her and had no idea that they were different, after all she was not too sure what she would have done if Rylen had not been around for her in that time. But she did not know if it was like every other agency like that she had seen in a movie where it would be corrupt she would have to talk to Rylen about it later.

To him, Rae was always going to be seen as the fiery girl that he had denied to himself about falling so hard for her. Though now he willing stated so and knew there was much more to Larae that he still had to see yet he adored every part of her nonetheless. The thought of marrying her and how it was supposed to be 'forbidden' for him did not phase him. He loved her and he knew that, it was not going to change no matter what. He wanted to marry her, to be there for her and have it written down on paper so it was in fact official that he was not going anywhere. If he did not do this, he would be allowing the archangels to dictate his life when he knew that if they were still even paying attention that they would have already acted upon this situation. It was simple to him now, so it really did not even cross his mind. His decision had already been made and he was not going back on it as Rae meant the world to him. Rylen was so used to be the independent loner that this had been such a shock to him initially that he had grown so attached to the girl although now it was something he loved. By this time he was actually dependent on having her around as things were not quite the same to him otherwise. After the other night with her mother and the breakout, he was even more protective of her and did not want to let her out of his sight as he felt like anxiety might set in if she was gone for too long. He was not going to lose her at any cost, he could not afford that as it would entirely devastate him. Larae was his and not to be messed with otherwise you were going to have a very unhappy Rylen ready to slit your throat, theoretically of course. She was the only one that was able to get to the other side of him, and around her he was a more civilized person as he was not shutting out everyone around him and thinking for himself alone. Now he constantly took Rae into mind when he was thinking, this was why he had not left the city again as he did not have the heart to leave her. It had been hard on him, leaving her and then when she had tried to push him away at the asylum it had been even worse. For a moment, his faith in her feelings had wavered which instantly had revealed his true weakness. If she decided she wanted to move on with her life, without him, he was back to square one which was a place he did not want to return to. Larae was his everything now, end of story. With this being said, he was going to do absolutely anything for her to keep her both safe and happy as this was his main goal. She would always be the person that came first no matter what it was that was going on. Small smile came to lips after teasing her that she could not resist him because he was bad, and quiet chuckle was uttered as she stated that this was true though she was not sure about admitting it. It was relaxing to him, being able to joke around with Larae effortlessly and not having to worry about everything else that was going on. Actually he was quite content as they were going to the school as he was starting to look forward to this now seeing as it would mean a positive step forward for the two of them further on in their lives and they would be going there together, which was even better. While they were discussing different things with the guide, it seemed quite clear and simple how this was all going to work and they were given several more papers to help them with registration and more information on the different things about the school and what was available. When he started questioning about the IPA he could tell Rae was curious about it and would tell her more about it later as he knew quite a bit about the agency from what he had been told from Ulrich and he was actually interested in the possibility of looking into it more since it interested him. With a small nod, he listened to a few last words from the counselor type guy as he told them just to contact him if they had any more questions to ask and that they could submit applications and transcripts at any time. Thanks. He murmured lightly before raising from the seat and reaching for Rae's hand. As they were walking out of the office, Rylen was surprised to see a familiar face of one of his buddies that he liked to play pool with and Javine came over at recognition as he had seen the two of them together at the safe house a couple times back. Rylen? What the hell are you doing at a college? The other boy teased with a small laugh before continuing on. Enrolling, I see? You guys should come hang at this party down at the dorms tonight, it's gonna be epic! Amused, Rylen nodded as the concept did sound fun however he was going to check it out with Rae later on but they had other business to attend to before hand. We'll think about it. Later. He stated with a small smile before walking with his fiance towards the door. Any plans? He asked with a teasing grin.

While she was fiery and that was never going to change all it took was Rylen to tone her down, calm her to the point where she was no longer thinking in the rash and fast thoughts that usually consumed her, she spent a lot more time just pausing to think about something rather than just acting and taking whatever consequences fell on her shoulders because of the decision. She was liking the fact that he wanted to make his love for her known, make sure that it was official and known to everyone else not just the two of them and that was a large step for the two of them but one that she was ready to take nonetheless there was no doubts in her mind or she simply would not allow it to happen. She never wanted to have to think of her life without him and that was not going to change anytime soon. She really did not mind the level of protectiveness that he seemed to have over her knowing that she was the same way about him, to anyone else it might be seen as excessive since the two were both strong immortals and could handle themselves but this was not about what other people thought, the only thing that mattered was what was right for their relationship and she had never been so sure, the two of them were far too happy for this to be considered wrong. Now that she had gotten a small taste of what it was like to be with him and around him there was no question and there was no turning back for her, there was no one that made her feel this way and she knew that he was the only one that was for her. After all people looked all their lives to find the people that they were made to be with and she was one of the lucky ones that had found someone that she considered perfect in her mind while being under the age of twenty, life does not get much better than that! She was not ever nervous when they were on their way to the school even though this was something that she had always pictured herself being panicky about since this was her future, no longer did she think of her future being dependent on going to school and getting a good job, at the time that she was in school she was convinced that it would have been the only thing that was going to make her happy but now that seemed to silly because that was all something that would come secondary to her soon to be husband and really as long as she was with him they could be doing anything and she was going to be happy. She realized that thinking that a career was going to fulfill every hole in her life was something that was very immature of her and made her realize that she was just that much more lonely than she had thought. As they were sitting there and there was the mention of an organization called the IPA she was very interested and by the look that he gave her she was able to tell that he knew enough to tell her when they reached the car and her attention was then focused on getting the papers and looking through them to make sure that she did not have any questions, she would have to look them over again tonight and make the decisions on what she was going to study knowing that the applications were due soon and the sooner that they got it all figured out the sooner they were going to get everything in order and possibly move into the dorms there and be able to move out of the safe house since it was just something temporary. She was looking in the direction of the car and did not give the other boy another thought as there was then words that were uttered in the direction of Rylen and he seemed to know the other boy. He commented that there was going to be a party at the dorms tonight and she patiently stood there while the two finished their conversation. Together they continued towards the door of the car which he held open for her and asked her if she had any plans and eyes were rolled. I think you know the answer to that question. She uttered with a small laugh. She settled into the seat beside him with a coy grin knowing that from where the car was parked that no one was going to be able to see what she did as she slid over to the driver side before he started it with a cheeky grin. Are you sure you would not just rather spend the night with me? She teased even though the party did sound like something that she would like to go to since they would be around the people that they were going to be going to school with in the next year. The moment where she placed her legs on either side of him and sat lightly in his lap was brief though as a finger trailed along his chest but before anything more scandalous could happen she was leapt back to the passenger’s seat and placed her seatbelt on.

Now that he was with Rae and it seemed to be rather permanent or this was what he was hoping for at least, he wanted it to be known that he was moving on and that things had changed. She was his everything, it was to stay that way. Rylen had no plans for allowing history to repeat itself and going back to his old ways and that was it. He was fully committed to Larae. The fact that she was just about as protective as he was was actually found to be an adored characteristic to him as it made him feel wanted. With Rae, his life was completely different compared to what it had been originally. He had not felt like things were real. Not in the way they were with her, before there had been nothing important pushing him to do anything with his life but now he wanted to do whatever he could in order to impress Larae and hopefully start looking more into building a life for them. After all, that was sort of expected from a husband and he was not quite that title yet but he wanted it to be that way soon. He wanted her to be able to rely on him, to always be able to fall back and have him right there without any questions asked. Such strange behavior and thoughts coming from the mind of Rylen but there was no doubt that this was precisely what he wanted for them. Nothing else mattered, no one was going to be able to tell him no and put an end to his plan. Larae was the one that made him happy and he did not want this fact to change as he was so attached to her where he was still having difficulty understanding it but by this time he had learned to allow things to just run their course as that was a plausible approach for their relationship. Ever since she had asked about the school, he had debated whether or not it would be a good idea for her though it was not like he was going to tell her no. He just believed that she was the type who would excel in regular college and could do well there, in the real world. Instead, he had sucked her into the immortal world which he had actually thought about quite often but it was too late to go back and change the past now. She had had the chance to look elsewhere, just because she was a little 'different' did not mean she could not have a normal life. Then again, recent events would have never gotten her there but she did not have to get caught up in this. Though his view on the other immortals had changed as they had proved to be a little different then his stereotypical opinion. Then again, who would he have been had he tried to keep her away from all of this, it was not as though the normal world was perfect it was all the same in one way or another. Plus at this point the immortal academy did not even appear to be all that bad and it had elements of the real world involved in the curriculum as well. The thing that did manage to catch his eye though was not exactly human. The society had interested him since he had heard of it quite often and knew a bit about it from what he had heard. He had noticed her curiosity on the subject but did not begin to bring it up until after they were walking out of the office. The IPA is like a service that protects the secrets of immortals and keeps things concealed. They deal with a lot of things; those who are threatening to expose themselves, people who have seen things, and often they deal with helping people 'transition' and adjust to the changes. He explained to her, thinking that was a decent sort of description as it included some of the stuff that it involved. Looking over to her with a small smile, he was then caught off guard at the approach of an old friend who started mentioning a party which did catch Rylen's attention however he was not going to agree without Rae's consent. He still was not keen on the idea of letting her out of his sight right now and so he was not going to go to some party unless it was her idea also. As they walked away and he just asked about her plans, brow rose as she told him that he already knew this answer. Lips quipped up into a smile at this while he continued to head towards the Camaro with her and looked her direction only to noticed a sly expression cross her features which initially baffled him. It did not take long for him to catch on though as grey eyes swept across her features, hands fiddling with her hemline as she was seated on his lap. Contemplating his answer as he knew she was trying to taunt him, he was a bit speechless as to how to respond initially. I'm never sure about anything other than the fact that you must be involved. He stated, aware of her teasing gesture as he leaned forward in an attempt to kiss her although she was quickly moving away from him at this point, then playing innocent. Eyes were rolled with a shake of his head followed by a chuckle. You're a tease. He scolded playfully, before starting the engine in order to drive back towards the town. Lunch? Any ideas? He asked lightly, not having any preferences.

She could not help but like the sounds of the IPA, she did not know anything about it but she was sure that Rylen would at least know enough for her to be able to tell if it was something that she was going to want to be a part of or not. She did get a sinking feeling whenever she thought of all the other people that were out there and had no idea of what they were, they did not all have someone like Rylen to babysit them and help them figure out their powers and she hated to think how stressed out she would have been without his help and knowing that no matter what he was there for her to help pick up the pieces if something did end up going wrong. Like every other organization though she was not going to trust them just because they said they were for the greater good and they really sounded like a good idea since there was no way she would believe it until Rylen gave her the OK that they were not corrupt and just exposing the immortals secretly, if that were the case she wanted nothing to do with them and was going to do all in her power to fight against them but that seemed like a scene from a horror movie and she knew that she was just being a little too skeptical, after what her mother did in sending her to the asylum though could you really blame her? Right now sitting in the office of the school was the first time that she even started to contemplate something that was not to do with her mother’s own personal preferences of what she really thought that Rae should be involved in, she was actually thinking for herself and it took Rylen to get this out of her. She loved to be able to help even though she tended to be rather guarded and if she was able to help others that were going through the same thing that she had she knew that it was needed and that it would be something that she would adore. She never thought in her wildest dreams that her life was going to be taking a turn like this but the change was welcome, making her realize how many aspects of a successful life for herself had been missing and Rylen was the key in all this, she never wanted to go back to not having him around, that was why she was so certain that being married to the man was a good idea. She hated to think of what her mother would think of the idea, she would certainly be sent off for another mental health check at the very least if this was ever found out but Rae had long since decided that what needed to be done was the ties needed to be cut from her mother, she could not be around someone that did not believe her when all she did was tell the truth and she could not be around someone that was going to turn her in at the slightest sign of trouble that was too dangerous, one day she did hope that she would be able to build a relationship with the woman again but for the time being things needed to blow over and she needed to get settled into her own life and whether that meant that her mother did not have a clue where she was or not it could not be changed. As they walked back to the car after being stopped by the person that he knew Rylen then spoke of what the IPA was and interest was sparked once more. Hmm, that sounds like something worthwhile, Rylen, if I did not have you when I was figuring everything out I don’t know what I would have done… She trailed off taking a moment to meet his eyes gently as they moved into the car. As grey eyes washed over him when she was sitting in the car with him the small cheeky smile crossed her lips and she knew that he would know well enough her expressions and know that something was up there was something that she was planning. After sitting on his lap a coy expression remained plastered on her face loving the way he seemed a little flustered and she had definitely caught him by surprise. When she moved away just as quickly he chuckled telling her that she was a tease. Only to you. She murmured. He then asked her if she would like lunch and eyes were rolled slightly. Are you trying to stall? Because its driving me crazy. She uttered with a small smirk and a devious gleam that seemed to encompass green eyes. She knew that it was not the case but she could not help bugging him just a little bit. Forget lunch, we just ate breakfast!

At first, he had been very skeptical of the IPA as well as he had learned through numerous occasions that there were many immortal groups that were not all they cracked up to be. This one, however was definitely the most prestigious of them all and definitely one of the 'good' ones. Rylen did not know the exact history and all but knew that there were a couple of different branches throughout the agency and he had looked into it several times out of curiosity. At the same time, he was not sure that he would be the type to fit into that society either. Rylen was not the mothering type and never had been close to so. This he would think about and decide upon later, and he would want to see Rae's plans as well just from curiosity of course. He wanted to make sure that she did what she wanted to do, regardless of his plans as he did not want to influence her decisions but he did not see that happening with her as she generally had her own opinion that she followed quite well. He saw Rae as doing well with whatever she decided upon and he was going to support her along the way no matter what. He still hated what had happened with her mother although he was powerless to change it as that was in the past and it was between those two, he was not a part of it. Ever since Rae had started trying to figure out her powers, he had tried to help her with them and still was there to if she wanted him as he would do whatever he could in order to find things out for her. He had really liked to help her and be there for her, but that was different as he generally was not a helpful person as he did not tend to be abundantly social and all of that. It was intimidating, finding out you were not human and then not being able to control what you could do although Larae had been doing quite well with that now which he was glad to see. There was still a lot for her to learn when it came to the immortals as there were instances that were portrayed in moves, wars between different groups and prejudice based upon powers and all of that. He still saw that as quite pathetic which was why he was not too fond of others that were different but he was powerless to change all of that. In fact there had been an immortal studies course available at the college that briefly interested him however he was still undecided. He had some time though before they submitted their applications to decide completely on the subject and it was something they could discuss among themselves beforehand. After he had stated a brief explanation of the IPA to Rae, he met her eyes for a moment with a small smile as she stated that she was interested since she did not know what she would have done without him. Things would have been much different then but he would have it no other way than how it was now. He playfully called her a tease after her little stunt in the car and broad smile crossed his lips when she murmured the simple syllables. Brow rose when she dismissed his suggestion of breakfast, accusing him of stalling. Stalling for what? Why in the world would I do that? He asked in a teasingly appalled manner. It had just been to mess with her that he tried to play dumb as he was actually very excited of thoughts of what was to come, quite different for Rylen but of course different was usual when Rae was involved and it was a good type of different. Waving off his statement of breakfast, he turned the ignition to start the engine with a low rumble before driving away from the school and back towards the town. Reaching for her hand across the center console, fingers were lightly intertwined with hers. Driving through town, it took him awhile to locate the courthouse but he was finally able to. You are sure about this, aren't you? He uttered lightly, personally having no second thoughts but wanting to know that she was still feeling confident about this and he would understand if she wanted to back out for personal reasons; this was not something to do accidentally and realize it was a mistake. Well it seemed that way in this day and age but he hoped for them that this would never be the case. And if you want a dress and stuff, we can go decide on that. He murmured to her, really wanting for this to turn out the way she wanted. All he wanted was to be able to make her happy and if it took buying her a dress and going all out if she wanted, he would do it. Before she had told him that she did not care but again he just wanted to double check since they were a bit closer to making all of the decisions again. He just wanted to marry her, regardless of what she decided it was that she really wanted. Taking her hand with a small squeeze and a bright smile, he walked with her up the stairs and through the doors with a strong sense of assurance. He was going to marry Larae and this fact was all that it took to keep his mind buzzing like crazy. Very funny the way she had managed to change him.

While Rae was not really the warm and mothering type either she was fierce enough to make up for it, to be able to fight for someone and protect them when they needed it the most and that was something that would interest her not really the taking people in and babying them because she did believe that people needed to undergo a certain amount of trauma in order to make them stronger members of society but she would love to be the person that remained there to make sure that things did not get out of control. She knew that in the way of her powers she really had only hit the tip of the iceberg but that tended to scare her a little, she was scared of allowing them to grow to their full potential because she had seen more than one movie where someone with powers allowed it to consume them fully and ended up forgetting everything around them and turning evil and while she knew that Rylen would not allow this to happen and he would be what grounded her she did not want to risk it, not until she was sure that she had absolute control of what was going on with her now, there would be plenty of time and really her powers were not something that defined her, the things that she did in her life did and the people who she chose to keep company with. She felt like she was an outsider regarding all of this and just glancing into a world that was seeming so large and the only thing that caused it to be bearable was the fact that she knew that no matter what a certain man was going to be at her side making sure that everything went smoothly. He was so protective over her and she loved every moment of it, knowing that she was the same way when it came to him and someone that tried to threaten the status of their relationship. When she accused him of stalling when they were back in the car and he wanted to go for breakfast he looked rather appalled and asked her why he would ever do that and a small smirk crossed her face and she looked across the center console at him. He took a moment to reach across towards her and lace his fingers with hers when he asked if she was sure about this and a bright smile crossed her face and settled lightly on her lips before she made her answer. I have never been so sure Rylen. She told him gently. He asked her if she wanted a dress and she shook her head. Given the situation it might look a little silly and really it is not that important to me. She uttered gently, she really did not even know how she would look wearing a wedding dress since it was rare enough for her to even wear a dress when usually she was the type of person to be dressed in jeans and a tank top underneath a car somewhere. She was ready to make the decisions and now that she had settled on the fact that she wanted to marry him there was nothing that could hold her back and the excitement of calling him her husband coursed through her and it was a completely new thrill, she would not ever have to worry about him leaving and she knew that this was one of the biggest appeals of being married to him, while she knew that he was not going to leave her now since he had made it quite clear she did like the sense of something a lot more concrete in her mind. She looked so much forward to the future had it been by herself where she did not know what she was going to take in university and did not know where she was going to live and was not really certain about anything she was sure that she would have gone off the deep end but it was strange how much things changed since really her only concern was Rylen and making sure that he was right there for her and she was the same for him. Pausing when they reached the top step of the building she turned to him, raising a hand to run a finger along his cheek and meeting stormy grey eyes that she adored just so much, standing on her tip toes she stood advantage of being the same height as him from the top step and bringing lips to his. I love you Rylen, nothing will ever change that. She uttered gently.
