She had dreamt of the two of them getting married as well but she did not dream of a large ceremony, never was that in her plans knowing that she would have a hard time coming up with enough names that would make it appropriate in her mind, she did not want to fill the seats with people that did not know her since that seemed to defeat the purpose and she really was going to be only focused on Rylen so therefore why did anyone else matter they would just prove to be another expense that the couple did not need plus she did not want to think that the two would then expose themselves and they were still on the run so overall it was not a good idea. Most people would want to wait until all this blew over but Rae was not anyone else and she knew that she did not tend to have much patience when it came to waiting and she did promise herself that it did not matter to her that it was not going to be all that traditional since all that mattered was the man that was going to be standing across from her. It was impossible for her to be in a bad mood when she woke up right beside Rylen so when she awoke this morning and rolled over to see that he had already vacated the bed she knew that she was not going to be able to get back to sleep and there was no use in even trying it was simply not the same without his arms being around her, and she was even more shocked when she noticed that she had slept this morning for a record breaking amount of time for her when the sun was already shining through the windows in streams. It was strange for her as well to be so set on marrying him, putting it in writing even though she was more than certain that there was nothing that could break the two of them up, they were too strong for that. Before when he had left they had still been holding each other at an arm’s length it seemed. They had recognized that their feelings were incredibly strong and that was the last fight before they both had come to submit that they were going to be together through the thick and thin and that was a good thing, it was not something that was good to hold them back from being together. Bad things happened when they were not together to face them side by side and even she was able to see that since she had been in the midst of being hard headed and fighting her own feelings both the times that she had been attacked but ultimately even if they were butting heads he had been the one to take her under his wing and doctor her. After playfully rattling off that he was not himself and him telling her that she was responsible for that she could not help but laugh as her arms were snaked around his neck to bring her close to him, lips immediately pressed to his in a good morning kiss before she was then freed to step back and focus on the delicious breakfast that he had prepared for the two of them, she was rather shocked, he must have been busy this morning. As the two of them finished she was not quite finished with his company at the table when she caught his hand and uttered that he was even better looking in person than in her dreams and this caused him to roll his eyes dramatically. Her eyes widened in shock when he told her that she was not quite as innocent in his dreams and she reached across the table to swat him gently on the shoulder with an offended look. She gathered her own plate and cup and brought them to the sink to help him wash them but he did not seem as though he was going to allow her to help too much so she stepped back watching him for a moment since it did not take long before he then announced that she should pack up all her stuff since they were going to be returning tonight and brow raised. Where are we going to be staying? She asked quietly though she did not want to ruin it if it was a surprise so her question was slightly hesitant and he could choose to answer it however he wished. As she was packing across from him and almost finished everything that she would need he asked her if there was anything that she wanted to do as her last hours as a part of the Lawson family and eyes were rolled. It’s not like marrying you is going to change everything you make it sound like my last wishes, when really it is just an exciting new beginning. She told him gently. He walked up behind her and she jumped lightly as his arms wrapped around her waist but it did not take long for her to relax and lean back in his direction with a bright smile. He told her that he had been bouncing off the walls since that morning and this caused her smile to only widen, she could not even begin to describe how it made her feel, as though she was floating on a cloud that she never wanted to come down from. You sound like I remember feeling on Christmas morning, and I am glad I am not the only one that is feeling that way. All the initial feelings of nerves even though they only lasted not even a day were completely gone, it was time for her to move onto a new segment of her life and she had never felt this ready regarding anything in her life. She finished packing and placed the bag by the door with the exception of the few things that she thought that she might need before turning to him. Is there anything that you had in mind for the last couple hours you have as an unmarried man? She asked with a small laugh before lacing her fingers with his and planning on following him for whatever he would wish to do.

As mind blowing as the fact that he was getting married to him, he knew now that he would have it absolutely no other way. He didn't want anyone to be at their ceremony, probably even if they had people that they might have wanted to invite. Larae was the only important one so it wouldn't have made sense to Rylen to have invited people along since his attention was to be fully captivated by the fiery read headed girl.Already that was all he had on his mind that morning as he had made sure to cover and settle a few arrangements that morning to keep as surprises for her.Thinking back yet again on how they had started off and then coming back to the here and now to find complete contentment with the fact that he was going to marry her. Once things between them had began to settle and work out for them, it turned out that nothing could truly come between the feelings that he had developed for her. Cooking breakfast seemed to be a natural thing for him to do almost even though he had always been so used to fending for himself in the past. The attachment he had to her was undeniable since the strains between them when he had been adamant about leaving had left him nothing but pitying himself with regret upon his own actions. Still seeing her at the asylum and trying to talk him out of rescuing her hit close to home and was not quite forgotten either. He did not want to lose her, ever and this was something he saw as being true continuously. Tradition was the last thing on his mind seeing as the duo were absolutely anything but traditional though he still wanted to make sure that things were handled however Rae would find to be fitting so he tried not to bias her opinion in any way although turned out to be very relieved with the fact that she did not mind to rush the ceremony either. Currently he was antsy about it all, not being able to fathom how it would have been had they decided to set a later date and postpone it. As they were seated down to eat breakfast which had turned out to be edible, he could not help the playful comment leave lips in response to her compliment. Eyes were rolled with a small glare as signature smirk fell across features after she had swatted at him which proved amusing in his eyes. Following behind her to take the dishes and keeping her from doing the mundane tasks, he decided to start speaking up as an alternative distraction as well. That is a surprise, so you will just have to wait and find out. He answered her question with a small grin, not wanting to drop hints just yet. Finishing up the dishes and placing them where they were needed, he turned back to find her finishing up packing. Deep chuckle rattled from vocal chords as she responded to his selectively worded question, though he could not refrain the broad smile from crossing his lips as she stated that this was all just going to be a new beginning. Cocking his head, he found himself mulling over this answer and nodding lightly to himself as it was true. Not much was going to change really, other than a few documents and what not but nonetheless he was damn well pleased with the entire concept. Then once this was over it would not be long before they would start up with the college to get into another new escapade. Holding her in his arms, he felt her tense initially and loosened his grip until she relaxed again and then began admitting to her just how ecstatic he was that this was going to happen. Listening to her response only caused him to beam even more so in hearing that she was experiencing the same feeling of excitement. Most would probably just refer to them as infatuated kids who understood nothing but he could already see that the two were not going to have much trouble with adjusting to married life. Letting her go as she had something to do, he was quiet for a moment more while watching her before gathering his bag from where it was, already packed from earlier in the morning. When asked what he might have in mind as an unmarried man, he took her hand with a shake of his head before stopping himself. Are strippers out of the question? He stated with a chuckle, prepared to dodge a flying hand in case one came at him. Grabbing his bag and scanning to see that they had grabbed everything, he walked with her out the door, still counting down the hours until they were supposed to be at the courthouse. For the next few hours he could not think of anything quite significant to do but found himself dragging her to a few different places here and there to waste time. Getting back to the Camaro and glancing at the clock, he then drove back to where they needed to be, raising a brow in her direction. It's not too late to back out. He forewarned her gently, once more just assuring that this was something she wanted as much as he did.

She had always been the type of girl that when asked if she had any elaborate plans of what her wedding would look like she scoffed in the persons face saying that it would be empty that she had no interest in paying the price to have a lot of people that she barely knew there, she wanted her mother and father and maybe a couple friends there and that was about it. Now she did not have to worry about her father since he was no around and even if he was she would not give him enough of a second chance to want him there and her mother had cut ties the moment that she sold her own daughter out so therefore it was just her and Rylen and really that was all that she needed she had no interest in opening up to people that she did not know if she could trust. She knew that she could trust Rylen and would never question that so therefore that was all that mattered anymore. So when she had actually given a straight answer to someone that had asked her she had told them that she planned on having the smallest of ceremonies, enough to just get a few pictures for memories and then use the rest of the money to take her family out on an extended vacation since it would be such a waste to try to feed all the people that expected to be there when there were better things to use the money on that would be a lot more enjoyable like lounging on a beach somewhere and enjoying the sun, it had been a long time since she had been on a vacation and while she did not tend to relax when she was away she thought that it might be different if there was someone like Rylen with her considering all that would be on her mind would be right in front of her with the stunning man. When she asked where they were going to be staying he did not answer and responded that it was a surprise and she uttered a small sigh before bringing the plates and dishes to the sink and then walking with him in the direction of the room, luckily she did do much unpacking since she did not really want to remind herself all that much that she was homeless currently, it was as if she was telling herself that this was just temporary. They were going to make this work and that was all that mattered and she was more determined than she had ever been. Her eyes were rolled as he asked if strippers were out of the question but in the tone that he was using she knew that it was a joke so she did not even bother to take a swipe at him. It was not hard for the two of them to waste time when they were together because it really did not matter where they were going to her as long as she was able to spend the time with him, she would never take it forgranted knowing how close she came to allowing it all to slip through her fingers, more than once. When the time was closer to when the appointment was made they were back in the Camaro and driving back to where the small ceremony was supposed to be taking place and he commented that she still had time to back out if that was what she wanted and a shocked expression crossed her face Never. She uttered, she had not even a moment of 'cold feet' and she stepped out of the car to then join back up with him at the front of the car and take his hand in her own. It was all an exciting first step to a new start at life and one that the two of them needed, leave everything that had happened back in the last town behind even though she was sure that it was only going to be a matter of time before it wound up catching up to the two of them. The building was the same was it was yesterday but today it meant something entirely different, that they were going through with this and by the time that they left the second time they were going to be something entirely new to one another and something that she was not even balking at. She had never been the type of person that was too keen on commitment and she knew that it had been the same for Rylen as well but with him there was nothing that she wanted more, she wanted to have it in writing that the two of them were together and that there was nothing that was going to tear them apart, it was a statement to be married this young and she was sure that she would get judged and people would think that there was ulterior reasons for it, such as not being careful but that was not at all the case Rae was always cautious and something like that between the two of them would be a complete disaster.

Since Rylen had never even had a life plan on anything, marriage never even came close to being involved in that if there had ever even been a plan. He had no interest in commitment, there wasn't a single person that would ever be able to change that either. Or so he had thought until a certain red headed girl had waltzed into his life in a way that he had never fathomed. The attraction from the start had been taken in the wrong way, though when things got onto the right foot it was absolutely unstoppable. He'd denied it for a while, tried to avoid her and push her away as though that would have made his life simpler and keep her from getting hurt. Since when had he cared for the safety of others really? This he hadn't thought too much up until now. He had not wanted for Rae to get tangled up with him,too arrogant to try and bother with some high school girl until he had found out what she was truly about. Now here he was, driving to the courthouse to marry that same girl. So much had happened between them, boundaries had been tested to say the least yet they pulled through ever moment of her. The feelings that he ad developed for her were undeniable, three words coming from his lips effortlessly whenever directed towards her. She was absolutely perfect to him, there was no doubt about this. He could not begin to describe just how scared he had been when she had tried to push him away, the very thought of losing her was his biggest fear above all else. Now he was going to assure himself that that would never happen, so long as it was her decision to stay and he was willing to do absolutely anything to keep it that way.Fingers were intertwined with hers upon stepping out of the car, grinning in her direction while playfully stating that she had time to back out still. Lips brushed her cheek gently before holding open the door for her and walking in. He was so giddy, even more so than that morning and he truly could not begin to explain it. Never had he been able to recall this extreme feeling of joy, just at the thought of being officially married to the girl. He checked the two of them in for their appointment and they had to wait a few moments before last moment arrangements were settled in an orderly manner. The judge brought them forward to a separate room to take their vows, a very shortened version of a usual ceremony although to Rylen it did not matter as these were the most important moments of his life. The judge spoke up and Rylen's ashen gaze was captured completely by Larae, listening to the words to know when it was his turn to state his part. There was not a moment of hesitation as broad smile came to lips, uttering the words to her without any second thoughts as he knew that there would not be a single thing that could ever compare to this very time. I Rylen Jay Thomas, take you Larae Lawson, to be my wedded wife. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part. Words fell from his lips gently, knowing that he meant every word that he'd stated with full intention. The judge then turned to Larae for her vows and he felt himself getting slightly anxious just again because this was all so exciting to him, a large step forward for the two of them into the unknown. From now on he was going to provide the best life he could possibly do for her, leave all that was behind them there and protect her at all costs. It was a new beginning for them as she had once stated and now he saw it, he was going to make sure that things only got better and that was it. There was a reason he had wanted to marry her and he wanted to do everything he possibly could to make sure that she knew that she had made the right decision in this. So many people would never understand them, why they had made such a large decision so young without too many doubts on the subject. Especially Larae when she could go somewhere and be someone without being stuck with someone who could be categorized as a dead beat. She had so much going for her yet she was happy to be with him, to marry him when they were only eighteen and had so much ahead of them. This meant the world to Rylen, really everything about Rae did as she was the most important person in his life, the person he would go to the end of the world for if she wanted to ask him to. Now as he was waiting to hear her vow, all he could do was smile like a fool, thinking forward to the future they would make together. First of few things on his list was to find them a house to settle in so they could not be considered as 'homeless' as they currently were. Though that did not clog his mind too much with the current moment as he held the ring in his hand for a moment longer, waiting for the time to slip it on her finger and for everything to be finalized.

If this was so wrong and it was supposed to be so different then why did it feel so right just standing there with him and being around him, she could not picture herself sleeping in a different room than him ever again so really there was no going back for the two of them. Their relationship had been on a steady ascent since they had finally been passive enough to admit their feelings, red-heads were known for their fiery temperment and stubborness and Rae was certainly no exception to this as well. While she knew that she had been attracted to him from the start she had convinced herself for so long that she had hated him and that there was nothing between them even though everything about them had been passionate from the way that they had stated that they hated eachother to the way that they fought and he had even managed to get to her in a way that she turned physical actually using her powers to set him on fire and this brought a small smile to her lips and caused her to laugh as she was sitting in the car with him on the ride to the court house. We have certainly come so far from that day in the closet of your old apartment, I remember the only thing on my mind then was just getting you to shut up, the thought of actually kissing you for the sake of kissing you was the last thing on my mind. Her mind was reeling through all the memories of them having been together and most of all the night that he had shown up at her prom after having been away and having left her, the feeling of that night still sent chills through her entire body knowing that no one else would ever make her feel that way, there were things that Rae was certain of and she knew that Rylen was the only one for her. As they arrived and after he uttered that it was not too late to back out she made her way towards the door pausing as he kissed her cheek and a beaming smile landed on the girls face. Just as she thought after they had checked in and after they were in the seperate room where they were set to be married she was only focused on him, they could have been anywhere, nothing else mattered besides the stormy grey eyes that her own were locked on, the words running through her mind though the recognition was only vague. When it came to her time to repeat the vows she found herself smiling, a pleasant expression that was reserved for only Rylen expressed across her face. I, Larae Lawson, take you Rylen Jay Thomas as my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part. The words were easy and without even a second of hesitation since when she made her mind up about something there was no turning back for her. This was exciting to her and while she knew that it was all unknown for the two of them at the same time it did not matter, the future was not supposed to be known as long as it was going to be spent with him nothing else mattered there was a moment where she almost felt herself getting emotional and it caused her to bite her bottom lip to keep the tears at bay, since when had she been such a wimp like this? Compared to all the emotions that she was feeling right now she felt like the rest of her life she had not even been living, like she was a shell of a person just passing their way through life, right now she felt alive, she felt vibrant and was sure that this showed by the smile that never left her lips. After the words were finished and the rings were held out to the two of them the cool band felt heavy in her hand as she waited for the moment where she was supposed to place it on his finger as well and after they were exchanged she barely waited long enough for the minister to utter that he could kiss her before she took the opportunity to step forward herself and meet his lips with her own. For the sake that they were not alone she allowed it to be a lot more brief then she wished and broke apart to nearly melt down as she rested her head against his chest again taking a deep breath and once the paper work had been signed she still did not move. Rylen you have made me into a wimp. I don't get emotional I don't cry around anyone. She murmured stepping back still biting her bottom lip clearly still fighting with the happy tears that threatened to escape and glittered in her eyes. Forever was a big word but at the same time she knew that she would have it no other way when it was regarding Rylen. Her stomach was flip flopping as she then reached down to take his hand. I love you. She murmured and smiled when as she intwined her fingers with his she could feel the imprint of the ring that he was now wearing. Now, tell me what should be the first thing that we do as husband and wife? She asked with a small grin.

This day, the one that was never supposed to even exist, was by far the happiest in his life so far. Not only was he getting married, but he was marrying a girl who he had once been convinced that he had loathed entirely and one who had thought herself to loathe him back. So far they had come, the way things had changed along with the strong chemistry that had only continued to grow over time. He could not bring himself to believe it entirely, it was surreal. Hell, she had even set him on fire on an occasion as well. Yet here they were, beyond all of that, eighteen and driving to the courthouse to get married. This was all that consumed Rylen's mind as eyes glanced in Rae's direction with one of the largest smiles he had ever smiled. The girl sitting in the passenger seat was going to be his wife, the most important and special person in his life. Looking over towards her again, he threw his head back with a gleeful chuckle, recalling the incident from months back very easily. They had just been kids, him being the immature one of the duo, no doubt about it and now they were still considered kids although Rylen ignored this title. They no longer fell under that category in their lives as it should have not been defined by age. There were many moments with Rae going through his mind as well at the time, the feeling of regret that he had when he had left her only to reappear at the prom and to find her in the stunning turquoise dress. So many things had led up to now, something he would not change for the world with the excitement he was feeling now, it was all so perfect to him. A courthouse wedding was perfect for them as there was no need to invite anyone and of course it was much shorter than the usual ceremony. Attention was directed completely towards Larae, listening to the words accordingly in order to recite his part aloud and beam like no other after finishing with so. This was the next step for them, they were going to continue on to much greater things, this he was very much certain of. Once Rae was repeating her vows, he was still smiling from ear to ear at her, noticing the tears that were forming and wanting to just step forward and completely wipe them away. This being something that usually did not come from her, he now was a bit worried that something was upsetting her though at the same time the smile was too honest. It was perfect, everything was perfect then. When the minister stated for him to kiss the bride, he was quickly surprised by the opposite though nonetheless arms wrapped tightly around Larae as he met her gaze as the kiss came to an end. Clearly wanting to move along, they were ushered to sign paperwork though as that was finished, he was wrapping his arms tightly around her. Chin was resting gently on the top of her head, running fingers lightly through her hair.Hearing the words, he smiled gently at the thought. Rae, you have no idea what you have done to me. He admitted quietly to her, meeting her gaze once more and gently wiping away a tear that was starting to fall. I love you too. Deep lyrics uttered, then watching as she intertwined their fingers and he once more gaze at the ring that was on her finger, very well aware of the band that was placed on his. He gently brought the back of her hand to his lips, grinning as she asked what they were to do first as husband and wife. You didn't really think that I would leave out some sort of honey mooning plans, did you? He teased lightly though he did have a little something planned, which had all been worked out on short notice of course. Nonetheless, Rylen had set his mind down to getting something worked out for them. Not even caring about who noticed as they were exiting the courthouse, he playfully swooped her up to carry her the short distance to the car without faltering in stride and carefully setting her on the ground to open and close the passenger's side door for her. Then he quickly walked to his side of the car and started the camaro before pulling from the lot. I do apologize for the short drive. He murmured though overall the trip did not take to long before he pulled off to a windy road which then lead to a cabin by the lake. Already he had visited there once that morning to make sure everything was in order for the two of them to stay a few days. Holding up a finger in her direction for her to wait, he grabbed the bags and set them inside before then returning to the car and once more pick her up with a foolish grin, well aware of the tradition that he was following. Lightly allowing her to her feet, he smiled broadly before glancing around the interior again. If you don't like it, I'll find somewhere else. He spoke up quickly, wanting to see that his wife was happy right from the start.

She did not know the protocol of marrying a fallen angel and she was sure that it was nothing like marrying a regular man if it was even allowed in the first place and yet that had not been something to stop either of them. They had faced demons in a sense that was a lot more literal than anyone would ever know, they had been through hell and back several times and there they stood with their heads held high and staring danger in the face. There was no question about it she wanted to be by his side and she would see to it that nothing happened to him, it did not matter that he was an immortal bound by rules she could overcome that, and she would not let anything happen to him. He might think that he was keeping her safe but she was just as defiant regarding him, and it was nice for her to be able to feel that she had a protector, a gaurdian angel if you will. He was supposed to be dark and he was supposed to be the bad guy but how was that possible when there was so much good in him. Someone that was supposed to be so dark of a person did not have the capabilities to love and Rylen did, he loved her and she could feel the way it affected him, either of them would do anything at all for the other one. She would have laughed at anyone else that would have ever proposed such an idea to her, thinking of what she would have told her friends if they were to tell her that they were going to go get married at this age, she would have told them that they were crazy and they were making the biggest mistake of their lives to be forced with someone the rest of their lives and yet she had never been so sure of a decision as she was right now standing there with the man that she loved. She wanted to impress him she wanted him to be proud of her and she wanted his approval and she knew that she got it. There was no questions about their feelings and perhaps that was what was so strong between them there were so many other people in relationships where they were always having to question the other person and what they were thinking and feeling but it was never that way for the two of them they were sure. They were brought together by a burning passion that had been mistaken as anger and hatred but as she had been told once upon a time there was a fine line between love and hate and the emotions were something that were nearly interchangeable since the passion was what mattered and how strongly you felt for that person. She was recalling a bunch of memories as she sat there with him, fond ones and ones that were a little tougher and all of them were special to her and things that she would never forget ever since the mysterious man walked into her life she had been wondering what on earth she had done to get his life turned upside down but now that she looked at it, he had turned her life right side up, this was the way that it was meant to be. The tears did not last long as they were standing there and they were happy tears so therefore nothing to worry about and the kiss was much too short for her liking but that was only a snippet of what was to come she was sure. When he commented that she did not know what she had done to him she could not help but laugh lightly as his head was resting on the top of her head. Your not the one crying. She normally would have had such a hard time admitting this to anyone but with Rylen there was no hiding the way that she was. As her hand was brought to his lips she did look rather surprised when he uttered that he had something planned and she was interested in knowing what that was since it had been such short notice but once again she was finding herself very impressed with the man that she was now to call her husband. People might have said that their wedding had less meaning because it was not at all traditional but she would have to disagree because it did not matter what the wedding was like as long as the right person was standing across from you. She chuckled when they reached outside and he had picked her up and she playfully squirmed in his arms before she was set back down on the ground to step into the car with a bright smile. Really he did not realize that it did not matter to her where they were going as long as he was going to be there with her. She shrugged it off when he apologized for the short drive they arrived at a small cabin which caused her to smile, it looked peaceful and serene and like something that they needed desperately. He then moved back to her and scooped her up into his arms again. I could get used to this. She said with a playful grin before being allowed back on her feet inside the house. It's perfect. She stated with a smile as she looked around the rooms.

He was doing everything so wrong that he was pleasantly surprised that the Apocalypse had not struck to put an end to all of the things he had done that were against the 'rules' to put it lightly. Revealing himself was never something he would supposed to do, even it came to be with other immortals and this he had done several times. On many occurrences he had almost given himself away to the human race as well in instances where he had used his better capabilities over others.Everything he had been warned of before the fall, all the regulations that had followed this initial punishments had been pounded into his mind all seemed to be completely irrelevant as he should have been chained in hell long ago.It was a thought he laughed at, he was not the only one who had broken the rules although maybe getting married might have pushing it although it was not like he was in a church or anything. He remembered the time when he had once been so disgusted with the world after his fall but now he had grown accustomed to it and all he had to do was think about the girl in his life that was now legally going to be his wife and he knew he would go through everything ten times over just to get to her. The strong feelings he had for the girl were overpowering but in a way he would never question or object as he loved the way she had the ability to make him feel. She was the one person he thought about more than himself, he was no longer the number one priority in any case, Rae would always come first without any questions asked. They were so young in everyone's eyes, they would always jump to the wrong conclusions but he knew nothing more than the fact that he was determined to live the rest of his life with Larae, to keep her happy as much as he was capable and to never leave her. He'd changed so much but he wanted to set everything aside for her, Rylen had come through a complete three-sixty but it was not bothering him as he looked at the fiery red headed girl that he had fallen in love with over the past months. Marriage was a serious concept and yes he was quick to realize this, he was not going to deny it but he knew that he could make things work effortlessly between he and Larae. They had already proved how strong they were together, the bounds of their relationship had been tested but neither had backed down as they both ended up turning back to the other in times of struggle and together they were an unstoppable force that should not be messed with. The passion that had developed between them had been a pull from the start though then he had been convinced that it was more of a push and they had taken time to get to where they were now and nothing had been the same ever since as they only grew closer over time. As arms were wrapped around Rae, he quickly found the peace he had never been accustomed to before, the solace that only she could provide for him as he held her near, aware of the tears spilling from her eyes and worrying that he had done something wrong and she was upset with the entire ceremony. She confirmed otherwise though, that she was just getting emotional and he did manage to see the true happiness behind the tears, a comfort as the three words were exchanged timelessly to him. Crying has nothing to do with it. He uttered gently to her, feeling his throat clog up as he realized that this was just once again displaying to him how they felt towards one another. Tradition was nothing to him but the entire point of this ceremony did mean something to him although if Rae had wanted a traditional wedding then Rylen would have stopped at nothing to put one together for her. So many people would frown upon this but he did not care on bit as at the end of the day, the girl in his arms was now legally his wife. He was in a rather cheeky mood as he hinted that he had made plans for the two of them, he was not going to make her stay in the safe house any longer as it was uncomfortable to him even. Scooping her up in his arms caused him to roll his eyes as she tried to squirm though there was not much convincing in her struggle once he sat here back on the ground with a grin and they were soon on the road again. When they had made it to the cabin he picked her up yet again and carried her through the threshold, glaring playfully at her as she stated she could get used to it. Gently he set her back down to her feet, smiling in spite of himself as she wandered around the vacation house. Thinking of it briefly, he stepped ahead of her and into the main bedroom where he had hidden a few things before grabbing the boxes from beneath the bed. One was more of a gag gift just to tease her though the other was a bit more important. Finding where she was at, he rose a brow in her direction slightly. I got you something. He uttered, scratching between his shoulder blades lightly where the tattoo with her name on it was. It was difficult to mask the amusement at waiting for her to open the present but he managed to do so as he passed forward the box that was wrapped with a ribbon. He was rather interested to see what her response would be to the revealing lingerie he had bought as a joke though he held onto the smaller box for now, keeping it relatively hidden until she had opened the first box.

She was finding that she really did not know too much when it came to fallen angels and that would be something that she wanted to change when the two of them were over the sort of honeymoon phase of their wedding, she wanted to know what to expect, she wished that she could provide him with the same knowledge of what she was as well but that was not possible when he knew easily as much if not more about herself than she did. As for fallen angels all she knew was what she had heard from myths and stories and those were only right to a degree she knew enough about him to know that human interaction was not supposed to happen, he expressed that when he had told her the entire story out at the place by the safehouse but she also knew that she was not really considered a human so maybe that would be a loop hole to it all, though she was sure that it was not large enough to let the two of them go completely unnoticed. She did promise herself that no matter what happened there would not be a time that she did not fight for him, she wanted to be with him and she never wanted that to change she was certainly not going to allow a single person to rip the two of them apart. He had always been there for her through the things in her life that jumbled her expectations and there was a new meaning to the vows that they had just stated to one another, it might have been a little unorthodox but she meant forever when she said it and when she vowed to love him she had never been so certain of the way that she was feeling. She planned in making a call to her brother later in the week to inform him of the fact that she was married now but really she knew that it would not come as much of a surprise to him, even though they had not known eachother for long it was impossible for them not to have a bond, and one where he was able to see just how much Rylen meant to her, in order for such a hot-headed girl to give him a second chance when he walked into the prom. She did not tend to give second chances but she knew that if it ever came down to it while she hated to admit it, she knew that she would give Rylen a third chance, though she really hoped that it would never come to that. She did not like feeling powerless and she did not like getting hurt and she knew that he did not like to see her get hurt either. She still remembered the feeling of when he told her that he was going to be leaving when they were in the safehouse together and the hollow empty feeling that it had given her before she had even known that she was in love with him, before they had even really admitted their feelings. Sure they knew that there was something there that was very strong but they were both too stubborn and hot-headed to ever admit it. The hurdles that they had already gone through really made marriage look like it was going to be a walk in the park for the two of them, it was not going to be any more difficult than the things that they had gone through in the last months, she did not want to even think back on some of the things, she could not picture herself escaping this unscathed without him being there though, he was a complete attribute to her sanity. She did not even mind too much that she was crying in front of him even though even two months ago she would have tried her best to hide it from him, at that time she had been so determined to always look the stubborn and very determined part but now she was allowing herself to be vulnerable and allowing him to see a side of her that she did not even know had existed. When he expressed that they had plans she was rather curious but she was still in a daze as she walked with him towards where he had parked the car outside the building and really he could have taken her anywhere right now and she would have never minded. After he picked her up for the second time to carry her into the house she was content just to remain in his arms though it was brief and as soon as her feet were set back on the ground she was finding herself looking around the house before being stopped by him telling her that he had gotten her something. You didn't need to. She told him gently. The best present I could ever recieve is standing right in front of me and looking rather cheeky. She said with a small laugh before accepting the box and opening it. Small smirk fell on lips as she pulled out the lingerie and could not help but laugh. There's no dressing room here Rylen, I guess we would just have to pretend. She teased.

There was a lot that Rae did not even know about him but she still knew more about him than everyone else who had met him did really. He did intend of telling her more as there were no secrets that were going to be kept from her, she needed to know everything, especially now that she was his wife. He still wanted to help her with her powers as much as he possibly could as he did not want her to have to face any of that alone as he knew that was very intimidating and dangerous as well though she did maintain control over her powers extremely well and he was hoping that while at the academy that they would be able to sort through and find someone that would help her with these things as well since Rylen knew that he did not know everything about the extent of her powers and what she needed to do to figure them out better, he was crossing his fingers that they would run across someone that was trustworthy to help assist in that field even if he hated looking for help a lot of the time. There must have been something about Rae that kept him under the radar, that she was not completely human but he knew that this was still not the safest decision he had made for himself but he would give anything to keep the girl safe and happy, that was his goal. For years there had been no hints that he was even remembered so he was not too worried about something coming about all of a sudden though he did get a little cautious at times since it could be necessary. Out of the network of fallen angels he had spoken with, none of them had had any issues with the exception of Laz although he had really crossed the line and Rylen had no intentions of doing so. All he wanted was to be with Larae and really that was not too much of a crime as long as he kept them both safe which he had every intention of doing. He would do anything to make sure nothing happened to her, always he would be there to protect her even if she could handle herself most of the time. Seeing her hurt had always managed to hurt himself as well and he could not quite stomach the thought so he was always on his guard while around er just in case some freak incident occurred because of the relation with her father since she had mentioned before that she was certain that he had had enemies. The fact that Rae had allowed for him to come back into her life after having left definitely did not go unforgotten as that just meant that she really did feel something for him, that they really did have something that could not be ignored even if it was just developing at that point in time. To this day, he regretted leaving her behind and then trying to waltz back into the prom and try to get her back, seeing her crowned as the prom queen and how beautiful she had looked and how she still did as he was looking at her, knowing very well that she was way out of his league yet here they were and she had been the one to allow him back even when he had not deserved that in the least. Never again was he going to leave her like that, convince himself that they were better apart when that was no where near what the truth was. Rae brought out the better in him, she really had changed him in many ways to the point where he could be a complete schmuck around her and not think anything of it as he knew nothing more than the fact that he loved her in a way that he would never see it as going to be a thing that would fade. When he said forever, he meant it even if in the past he had difficulties comprehending what commitment actually meant. With Larae, it was very much different for him. He had been a train wreck without her originally, even if she did not know it. Now he would always be there for her as he had in past situations, things that had provoked feelings from him that were reflected by the way that she had been herself. Of course it was still so easy for him to think back to the time where she had told for him to leave her behind, a time when he had been scared in a way that he could never remember other than that time. He had come so close to losing her then that it had been absolutely frightening but now she was not going anywhere as he had carried her inside the place they would be staying for a few nights and was standing across from her. A grin appeared on his features, shaking his head lightly as she told him he hadn't needed to get her anything. and he then chuckled as she stated he was the best present she could get and he rolled his eyes. Brow rose when she laughed at the gift, then referring to the lingerie incident and he chuckled as well. Of course you would ruin my plans. He uttered exasperatedly, joking before he then handed her the small box that he had hidden a bit longer.Inside was a sterling silver bracelet with a link that had Aeternum engraved on it. Waiting until she had opened it, he spoke up quietly. It means 'forever' in Latin. He explained gently with a small smile, looking to see what her response was as he hoped that he had made a decent pick without knowing a thing about jewelry. Originally he had wanted to get a new ring but she did not seem to mind the one she had but if she changed her mind, he would not mind either.

She did have a feeling that while she did not know enough to quench her curiousity about him that she knew the most of the people that were around him, he did not seem like the type to just tell someone about his past and that was really not a bad thing since there were not too many people that you could end up trusting, she realized that now as well since she had her own secrets that she needed to hide, being a witch or really whatever they would classify her as. It was one of those things that you would have never expected since she was one of the farthest things from a believer before it actually happened, perhaps this was karmas way of catching up with her and throwing her beliefs for a loop so that she would not get too settled in them. There were later times to ask him more about his own life though, she wanted to know everything, but eventually and not right now where she was much too focused on the fact that they were now married and going to be starting a new life together, one that would involve a school where they would not have to hide, as much. She was not sure if she was going to be able to be too open about it though because she did not tend to trust people and knew he was the same. She did think it was going to be different though and knew that there was going to be someone at this academy that was going to be much like her and able to tell her what she needed to do in order to be able to control her powers fully and harness their ability and as much as she wanted to act like the old Rae and just shut herself off to that idea not wanting to get close to someone there was a spark of curiousity and interest that told her to give it a chance, after all there were so many other people with abilities there and they trusted the system so why was she questioning it, she knew in the back of her mind though that she was just that type of person to be careful and to make sure that it was going to be safe before leaping in head first since she was the type that never just waited peacefully and while that may have changed around Rylen there was no way that it would have changed around every aspect of her life, she might be a different person around him but there was no change in how she acted normally. One thing that would always keep them together and united was the fact that neither of them could stand to see the other person hurt, she did not even want to think of what it would have been like for him to be a fallen angel and it made her angry just to think of what he would have had to go through. It was not fair. If someone would have told her in just six months since the time where he sat beside her in chemistry class that she would be marrying the dark and brooding stranger she would have laughed and probably made some smart ass comment with no realization of how true it was just going to be, the fact that it was going to happen and she was going to like it. There was only one person that she could ever picture herself running to if she had a problem and that was him, not even her mother who she had been sure had been an ally before the whole incident with the insane asylum, it was not fair and it was not something that she even wanted to think about but at the same time she knew that it was a lot to handle and a lot to cope with on her mothers part. She did hope that one day that the woman would come around and realize that this was her daughter that she was talking about and it was not like Rae had ever asked for this to happen to her and it was not something that she could just change with the flick of a switch and she was not even too sure that she would have wanted to in the first place since now it was almost exciting. She had started off from the very beginning running to Rylen, even when she had not been completely sure that she could trust him but he never let her down not even when she showed up quite often on his doorstep looking bruised and battered from the recent incidents, such as the car blowing up and when she had been jumped in the alleway. After being carried into the place that they were going to stay she looked up at him when she told him that he had not needed to get her anything because he was the best gift that she could have, his eyes were rolled at her and she knew that it was a corny statement especially coming from her but at the same time it was honest and she did not mind uttering it. They both proved to have a laugh about the lingerie before a small box was passed her direction and she eyed it. Her eyes went wide when she opened it to reveal the bracelet. Thank you, it's beautiful. She uttered gently before picking it out of the box and fastening it around her wrist where she was sure it was going to stay. She wrapped her arms around him as she stepped forward and lips were immediately pressed to his, it did not matter how much they loved one another she still would have thought that she was going to feel awkward about marrying him at first, like it was something that she was going to have to get used to but that was not the case at all, everything felt so right.

Rylen had promised himself that everything was going to come into light for Rae,all in a matter of time. He had gotten used to opening up to her and she knew most things about him though of course not everything. Thankfully he did not have any deep, dark secrets anyway. Rae would be the only one to know basically everything about him without any second thoughts, he trusted her more than anyone especially since people did not manage to earn his trust easily in the first place. With his new wife, this was never a problem though. They were going to be settling into this somewhat new life together, but he was not the least bit worried anyway. As it was they were closer than ever so it was not like this marriage bit was going to tear them apart, was it? There was no one else he wanted in his life so much, no one that he would do anything to make happy the way he was with Larae. After their little run in at the party at the school the other night he was having second thoughts but knew it was better to just get over it and move on. The academy would benefit her along with himself as even he had many things to learn and he was not ignorant about that. Learning not about himself alone but about others would come to benefit him in the off chance that he ever got tangled in a difficult situation, not something he planned on though. But as demonstrated the other night, it did tend to happen; especially when he was getting protective over a certain girl and that was only bound to multiply over time now. She meant everything to him and he would see to it that no one dared to so much as glance at her the wrong way if he could help it, not that she could not manage herself. Over the time they had been around one another, it was no mystery that they had both made major changes in the way they were. Without her, he doubted that he would have ever fallen for anyone the way he had for the fiery girl. Through their first while of loathing one another they had then come to discover that there were opposite feelings there and soon after he had found that she was a weakness to him. Whenever she had come to his door he could not turn her away but instead found himself mad at what had happened and who had done what to her. It had set off the protective instinct in him and in those moments where she was a mess, he was there to help her through it without hesitation. She was the single person that he would always be there for, no matter what. Months ago he would have never believed any of this, ever. He was not the type that swore to commitment, rather he shied from it. Nor had he ever come close to wanting anything to do with her aside from drive her insane since he had been fully convinced that she only gave him a head ache without saying a single word. And now of course he was eating those words, marrying her had been all his idea and there was nothing that had made him any more happy other than when she had said yes to him in the first place. She had gone through so much in that short period and then only to turn around and agree to a life long commitment was a very big deal. Technically he may have been broken some very frowned upon rules in marrying her but really that should not have meant anything since he was no longer in the business upstairs. Everyone had long since forgotten about him so it really did not come to his mind for too long. Surprising her with the cabin, he felt slightly proud of himself as she looked happy with it and so if she was happy that meant the exact same for him. After rolling his eyes at her comment, he began to regret it as it was clear that she was being entirely serious and so he mentally scolded himself before handing the first of the boxes with a cheeky grin. When the second one was given to her, raising a brow as she eyed it with suspicion which he should have expected after his first little gift. Watching as she opened it only proved to make him smile broadly as it was made clear that she did like it upon fastening it on her wrist. Arms were wrapped around her waist instantly as she moved closer and lips were caught by hers. Married life was the least of his worries really as he felt like absolutely nothing had changed aside from the presence of a ring that weighed lightly on his finger. Cupping her face with his hands as he pulled away slowly, gaze rested on hers as he took a few breaths before speaking. I look back now and there are so many things I wish I could change. How could I have ever been that stupid and cruel to you? He uttered softly, reaching to run his fingers lightly through her fiery hair that matched her personality. I would have denied any of this ever having a chance of happening, but things have changed so much. Speaking to himself almost, he kissed her temple lightly. But now, I have never been so happy in the way I am now. He murmured gently.

Neither of them were the type to be too open with anyone but themselves and sometimes not even with themselves but there was something that was different about Rylen that made her want to be truthful with him and made her want to be someone that she never pictured herself being, a wife. She wanted to be there for him during the times that he could not count on anyone else and she knew that he would be there for her during the same times that was just the way that the two of them were and one thing that she could always say was that they were always there for one another when the time counted. He had been there to pull her out of the asylum that her mother had taken her to and brainwashed her into thinking it was in her best interest and she had been there to rescue him from the warehouse where he had been trapped after he had left her. Even if they had not thought too much of one another during those times they were still there for eachother and that was what mattered and it had all been about them fighting the feelings that were starting to crop up that neither of them knew how to respond to. She did not know what love was before she had become involved with Rylen, after all she was only just eighteen now and she was still a kid that had just barely graduated from school. Before Rylen she had nothing but a few casual boyfriends that were all dumped before they even managed to get close enough to even know her last name. She did not like peope being close with her and before she knew that she was a witch she never really understood why it was in her nature to be so secretivie but now that she had a secret to hide she supposed that it had just been to do with second nature before she had found out. There had been a part of her that had been wired to just protect herself and even though her conscious mind had not been aware of it as of yet it was something that just came with instincts and she was really glad that her instincts tended to be quite good since they had saved her from many sticky situations that a lot of people would not have walked away from. The marriage between the two of them was not going to change anything at all, they were still the same people that they had been at the beginning of the day and they still had the same relationship as always so therefore some agreement that was written on paper was not going to change anything at all. People that allowed the commitment to come between them were silly since it really should not change anything at all and for them she was confident that they were going to be the same two people that they always were. If anything she was very excited about it all and she was excited to be going to school with him in the next year and getting to live with him. It was a step that she could not help grinning like a fool about since it had always seemed surreal to her. She loved the way that he protective over her, it reminded her how much he really did care about her and that he did not want anyone to even look at her wrong. She felt the same jealous streak when there were girls around him so therefore it was just something that was about both of their personalities. The bracelet caused her to grin and fingers to play along the silver that remained at her wrist and was going to stay there. She looked up at him when he stated that there were so many things that he wished he could change asking her how he could have been so cruel to her and eyes were rolled. Rylen, seriously. She stated with a laugh. I was just as terrible to you. I hit you in the back of the head with a dodgeball before you even did anything to me! She managed to keep a straight face just until the words were out and she was then giggling. It all seemed like it had been so long ago now even though that was not all that true and that it really had not been too long ago. Her arms were wrapped around his neck holding herself close to him as his hands ran through her hair. Things certainly have changed but I really truly believe that we needed to hate eachother first to realize how powerful our feelings were, I do not regret anything at all and I have never trusted someone in the way that I trust you now, I can't wait for our future. She uttered gently. You are turning me into a true romantic. She uttered with a laugh before poking him in the ribs before squirming out of his grip and moving just out of his reach with a devious look settling on features, the same fiery girl that he had fallen in love with but right now she was just toying with him.

He was never open with anyone and Rae had done a lot to change that. Still he was relatively private about his life but around his wife that was going to be a lot different. There was going to be a lot of involvement between them, that he assured himself of and he never wanted her to feel like there was something that she could not come to him about. He would do anything for her, no questions asked. They had gone through so much together but always he wanted to be right there for her. it did not matter what it was. He still hated to think back on the night at the asylum and how helpless he had felt even while trying to convince her that she was not dangerous. It had killed him to see her like that, for her to try to push him away and he knew what it felt like and swore to himself that he would never push her away ever again. They were so close now that he really did not think that anything would be able to even push them apart. Being involved with Rae had changed his world completely but he liked the way things had changed, the girls in his past had never meant anything to him, no one would ever be able to hold a candle to Larae. He had never gotten attached to anyone, never been able to let them know him for very long. Now that was all a very different story. Rae was the girl he was going to stick with for the rest of his life, the one that he could never managed to imagine his life without. He did not have to worry about that either as he knew that she felt the same way about him as well, the passion between them was impossible to ignore. While their relationship had a bit of jealousy from one another on each side, it was nothing overbearing and he knew that would not even tear them apart either, they were going to be a lot better than the average young couple, he was completely committed to what that paper stated but not in a way that it was going to wind up pushing them apart. That was quite ridiculous in his own personal opinion and there was no use for it. Rae and he, however, would never be like that. What difference did a slip of paper and a few rings really make? They were still them, and he did not feel like it had really changed too much but it was still important to him without a doubt.Brow rose and he stopped his rambling as she called out his name and he was then a bit confused. Eyeing her expression, a look of amusement came to his own features as she started breaking up in a fit of giggles. It was true he supposed recalling back now, they had been a mix of oil and water then and it had been rather disastrous on both sides. As he listened to her reasoning, he nodded quickly as it made sense to him also. If they never hated one another, they would not have anywhere near the powerful relationship they did now. Gaze rested on her as she stepped closer and he grinned as her arms were wrapped around his neck, gently pushing aside a stray piece of her hair. The trust they had in one another was comparable to nothing he could think of, they both were not the type to trust quickly yet here and now they trusted one another more than anyone else and that would never be challenged, ever. Hearing her say that she could not wait for their future was something that caused him to perk up immediately at this mention. Never had he really considered what his future would constitute of but now he knew one static thing that was going to be there and he adored it. Neither can I. He murmured gently with a small smile, looking forward to all the time that was going to be spent around Rae and how he was going to be able to support her in whatever she decided to do.That was one of his main priorities, hands down. He was ready to step up and help her with whatever he was capable of. Shooting her a coy glance, he chuckled lightly as she uttered he was turning her into a true romantic though he quickly sidestepped as she poked him in the ribs. Eyes were narrowed lightly in her direction as she moved out of his reach. I don't understand it. We're legally married and now you are trying to play hard to get? This is not fair. He said, trying to keep his amusement out of his voice though failing to. Taking a small step towards her, he watched just to see if she was going to try to move again. Rethinking his strategy, he took a few more steps forward and watched where her options were before he finally placed hands on both sides of the wall beside her shoulders with a small smirk coming to his face as he had made sure that she had nowhere to go. Much better. It didn't matter when, he could never help himself from teasing her.

What was going to happen in five years from now? Were they still going to be as in love as they were right now? She really hoped so and she could not see it changing other than growing but really it was all so unpredictable between the two of them. Would they be finished with school and where would they be living, they were obviously going to be still married because there was no way that she would have married him without thinking that it was going to be a choice for the rest of her lifetime, it was too easy to get a divorce and she did not believe in them since there was no point in getting married unless you were very sure of it all and even though she was barely old enough to make the decision for herself she knew that it was the right one, she would never be able to be with anyone other than Rylen and she had always been so dedicated to him while they were together and there was nothing that was going to be allowed to come between the two of them. They had both gone throught stages of being togethere where they had responded by pushing the other person away and the feeling of how wrong it was to be without him was at the brink of her mind and it was never something that she was going to allow herself to forget about since she needed to remember to make sure that it never happened again. To be able to call him her husband was a privelege that she was looking forward to and it was going to help a lot in the way of the jealousy that she felt when other girls tended to look his way. At least at the school that they were going to be starting people were going to be able to see that they were very serious about one another and not interested in other people around the two of them. When he stated that there were so many things that he wished that he could change and that he wished that he had not been so terrible to her as he had been she could not keep a serious look on her face and she burst out laughing telling him that it was ridiculous and that she had been just as bad as he had been. Without them hating eachother in the way that they had at that time she was sure that they would not appreciate how far they came and how much it was taking them to overcome the feelings of it. For right now everything about their relationship look bright and hopeful and it did not matter that it seemed like the two of them were so alienated from anyone else in their lives, all they needed was one another and all they needed was to build their own life. Everything had seemed like there had been a piece missing back when she had been planning what was going to happen with her future and right now even though there was not too much that was for certain anymore other than Rylen it all felt like it was right in place and none of the details really did matter as long as she was with him. She wanted to be with him and never wanted to leave his side so did they need to question anything more? She did not care where the two of them went as long as it was together and she did not have to spend time without him, she did not care what they were going to take in school and if he needed to move away for whatever reason she knew that she would be more than happy to follow him to the ends of the Earth, anywhere. Rae was not usually the type to allow people to mess with her plans but right now all she knew for certain was the fact that Rylen was her future and the only thing she wanted for sure. All the rest would fall into place in whatever way was going to end up but it was suddenly not too important. When she poked him in the ribs he narrowed his eyes at her and she did the same glaring at him but unable to keep the small smile off her lips watching his every move from where she was standing just out of his reach. He moved towards her and she responded by bracing herself and preparing to move. I can't make your life easy, that would not be my style. She told him with a smirk. While she was no longer the type to act like a bitch towards him there were still ways that the fiery nature seemed to come out in the red headed witch. I mean who would be more hot-headed that that combination? She did not move away the last time that he moved though and there was a challenging smirk that settled on her face when he then trapped her with his hands on either side of her face against the wall stating that it was much better. Only because I let you win. She state in a cheeky tone. Can't have your confidence failing. She did not hesitate in her lips meeting his and in a manner that was not holding back any passion between the two of them. Her hand instantly roaming beneath his shirt knowing that his self control would falter with the moves that she made and with a small grin she then ducked beneath him when he was least expecting it to make her way to where the box that held the lingerie was sitting before jogging towards the bathroom that was attached to the bedroom and changing into the scantily made clothing before confidently stepping out to join him again with a teasing expression plastered on her face.
