Amused smirk met his offer, chin lifting slightly in order to hold his gaze as the bloke stepped closer. I am obviously free of prior engagements as if I had any, surely those who would have awaited my arrival would have already left, tiring of my tardiness. I do not see why you cannot continue to keep me preoccupied from the boring tasks of my life. Vocals muse happily in reply, limbs moving to follow the male as he started off. Brow cocks in questioning as he glances behind after a few feet, soft, inaudible chuckles escaping as the damsel shook her head at his antics. Surely the male was not blind. She had kept his company for quite some time now and yet he found the need to ask her if she had any "previous commitments." Then he checks to see if she will follow when it has already been established that the damself particularly enjoyed his companionship, despite the adversion she should hold towards him because of their race. Strangly enough, the essa found she cared little that he was a vampire and actually had to keep reminding herself of such a fact as long as she stayed around him. For some unknown reason, it was hard to see the man as anything but simply, a man. Of coarse, his skin was pale, especially when compaired to hers, but when one did not see many others of the caucasian type, it was nearly impossible to see whether he was unnaturally ashen or not. As the vixen followed him, she allowed liquids to run over his stature, secretly taking in all that she had avoided analizing in front of him upon first meet. He was slenderly built, but although some would be decieved by this, Bri knew that although he did not appear overly muscular, his strength well out weighed his mortal body's physical limits. She also couldn't help but notice the nearly irresistable charm he held that went deeper than his handsome counterance. Was it a hazard of his breed? A simple addition to served him well when catching his prey? Was she to be prey? Hand moved suddenly to her throat, lids shutting over depths as her pulse raced. No, she must not think of such a thing. If he had wanted her blood he would have already taken it, right? The drake had certainly had plenty of opportunities to do so. The dame was so preoccupied by her inner thoughts that she did not realize that they were headed out of the forest until she felt an intense jolt, one that caused her to stop abruptly and glance around, surprised. Suddenly, mask turned frantic as she realized Dario had intended to walk with her away from her homelands. Teeth chewed at bottom lip, tears stinging emerald depths as she stared after the male, silently urging him to turn around, to notice she was no longer following. However, neither of these things happened and she was faced with a dilema. Lips parted to call out his name, but throat was so constricted that no sound was produced. Frustrated and nearly half crazy with dispair, the maiden's figure jerked after him, strides breaking out into a run as she tried to catch up, ignoring every instinct that screamed at her to turn around. Finally, the lass caught up to him at the edge of the beach, hand grasping his arm as choked, heavy breaths force themselves from her mouth. Please Dario. I can't go with you. I am bound to the forest. They won't let me leave. Half sobbing words are released from lips, hand drawling back to her body as she clutched them to her chest, shades covering pools for she refused to meet his gaze; refused to allow him to see how mixed up she was. Without warning, the maiden turned away from him, hands lifting to hide her face as the salty droplets she had been trying to hold inside of her came gushing forth from sockets to run down tanned cheeks. Why am I imprisioned within this forest? Must my life consist of the spirits and nothing else? I want to leave! To see Venice and all the other places Ive only dreamed about. These words echoed in her head, threatening to be released into the world for not just her own audits to catch, but for his as well. Surprisingly, the baroness was able to chain them in her mind, unwilling to let them free. Her companion would already think she had lost it, why give him more reason to believe so?

Pause was made at the bench and he was glad since when he stood to lead her in the direction of the small cafe that he recently decided he liked she looked as though she was stuck in the spot just before civilization, brow was raised as gaze landed on her strange antics. Did she not like being around other people? Some people were like that he knew. Intruige crossed features as she then spoke in a tortured tone. She told him that she was bound to the forest and not allowed to leave. A perplexed expression ran through azure pools as he took a couple steps back into what he assumed to be the boundary line. He had not trouble hearing her and a nod of understanding was uttered dipping crown slightly head was tilted slightly before stepping back beneath the cover of large leafy trees no interest in the night wanderers hearing their conversation. Has it always been this way? Do you mean to tell me that you have never seen the outside world of this forest? He questioned not too sure of the extent of her binds. As she turned away from him she might have caught a glimmer of a pained expression crossing his features. A gentle palm was placed on her shoulder in a soothing manner. Talk to me, Bri. I am a good listener. He stated quietly words containing a relaxing tone. Without waiting for her to turn back in his direction weight was shifted carrying him to the point where he was in front of her. The raw pain she expressed tugged at the males composure. A girl he had just met had already started to affect him? What the hell was going on? Eyes were pressed closed trying to shake the feeling. Though it was no avail and he felt as though he could not be content again until the girl was reassured. Palm was pulled back from her shoulder in no time though and the touch was very brief as both hands were then shoved deep within denim pockets. His mind was now allowed to wander as he debated what kind of people would not allow her to leave the forest and not allow her to explore the world. It seemed rather cruel since there was so much more to life then remaining in one spot. After all he was one person that knew this well. He had visited the majority of the countries on the earth and yet his wandering soul still was not content there was still things that he longed to see. Some including was the ancient Pyramids of Egypt. He had been there once on business though he did not stay in the place long. He had seen them from the view on the plane though that was about it. To him the Ancient Egyptians were some of the most fascinating people of the world along with the Ancient Greeks that were so focused on their myths and legends that were in reality so close to what actually happened in the world. He had been the Greece many times though the charm did not seem to fade from the stunning place. Just like Venice. Although he had committed some unspeakable things there and been cramped like a sardine with 11 other men in a building suited for not even two people he still went back there on a regular basis, no one could deny that it was not one of the most romantic cities on the planet and deep beneath the cold surface he hid behind it appealed to his sensitive side.

Dome shook at his questions, words unable to be summonded at this point in time for the fatal could hardly composure herself. Fighting back the tears she released a relieved sigh as steps carry her back under the canopy of the forest, inner pain lessening as the spirits were back in their home. Finally, as the flood banks seemed to close and palms revealed puffy tissues around her eyes, the back of one hand whipping across visionaries to collect the stray salty droplets that lingered upon eyelashes and cheeks. No it has not always been this way. When I was a child, I was free to move about as I pleased, but never had the courage or the drive to do so and now, when I am old enough to go out on my own, this duplicity holds me here. Sigh lifts chest and chin falls to her chest, arms hanging dejectedly at her sides as pools stare blindly at the ground. For what seemed like the millionth time, the essa found herself wondering Why me? There had been so many other childern of the tribe born around the same time she had been; so many others whose families had tried to plan their childern's birth around that time so that they may get the chance to be Choosen. Yet, the wolf had choosen her; declared the maiden the future Guardian of the forest upon her birth. Why had Caza done so? There was nothing special about the lass, nor did her family lines have any particular history of being Choosen. In fact, the few of her lineage who had been Choosen had either gone rogue, relinquishing their human selves entirely to the animal, or mad at having to deal with two spirits within one shell. Her parents viewed the destiny as a curse, rather than an honor as many of the other families within the tribe thought of it as. Was this not taken into account when the spirit and sought out her predecessor? Crown shook as she tried to dismiss the thoughts. What had happened was done and there was really no need to wonder how it came abouts. Gaze lifted to meet the male's then, composure returning with every minute as the flushed hue of mask faded away and the normal warm honey tint returned. To answer your second question, no, I have not been out of the reservation. Except maybe twice when I was younger when my mother and some of the other women took us kids to the nearby town. Vocals paused then, the essa mimicking his stance without knowing it as she shoved hands into her pockets. It feels.....strange when I try to leave it now, like it's hurting me. I can't quite explain it. It only happened after the Choosing. I remember the few times I wandered out of the boundries before that I never felt the way I do now when I reach the edge. Bri tried to explain what it was like, supplying him with perhaps a little bit more understanding so he wasn't left completely in the dark. Besides, the fatal was still trying to sort it out for herself and it seemed to help her to voice the thoughts which were swirling in her head, almost as if getting them them out in the open helped her to organize them.

He could not help but feel compassionate towards the female understanding what it would feel like to be trapped within an area, no matter how small the area is you still feel confined. In his case it was not a spiritual boundary it was much more of a physical boundary knowing that if he left the area he would be beaten to a pulp by vampires much older then himself. He moved farther within the brush feeling a little more secure within the foliage. Finding a large tree truck he dropped his frame to the dirt spine resting against the back of the trunk palm was pulled from his pockets to balance himself. He did not want to be in the view from the trail since he knew that there were still a couple people that would linger and the question of their character at this time would be a little scary. He was not in a mood to be confronted. Palm then patted the spot next to him gently wishing her to sit beside him. As he listened to the story that seemed to be unravelling a nod was uttered at all the right moments digesting what the girl was saying. I am sorry to hear that. I don't think I would be able to stand that. He stated mulling over what she was saying again. Head was rested against the back of the tree gaze lingering on the leafy bows above him the flittering leaves of different shades of viridian and moss mixing with one another. The breeze lifted them and the rustle that was made was one of the magical noises of the forest. All of the noises of nature were captivating him until a vibration from his pockets brought his thoughts back to life. Pulling the blackberry from his pocket he did not even glance at the caller Id knowing there would only be one creature bothering him at this time and it would simply be a product of too much to drink. Quinn. The man who had stored his Lambourghini was probably just realizing now that he had been absent for over two days and wondering what ditch he would need to come find Dario in. An amused smirk crossed his face though it would most likely go unnoticed. Turning back to her he mused the next question. So how long has it been since you have seen your people? Where do you live then? He wanted to understand the situation more. He knew that she would feel better with someone to tell her problems to and he was here and ready to listen.

Jade sufaces watched the male as he walked deeper into the wood. After a seconds hesitation, the essa followed, pair never leaving him as she did this. Guise remained reletivily emotionless as he patted the ground at his side, femine form moving towards the spot, knees bending and arm extending to help her lower herself to the crust, muscles relaxing as spine leaned back, knees pulling up to her chest and arms wrapping around them. Curiously, crown tilted at him as he pulled out the small box thing with a bright light from his pocket. Despite herself, the essa found herself reaching out to touch it with awe before jerking her hand back, cheeks reddening with embarressment as facade turned away from him, arms pulling knees tighter to chest. Tiara tilted and fell to rest upon the top of her knees, lids closing over depths briefly as the maiden forced herself to relax. The moment of panic had passed, but yet why was it still there, just beneath the surface? Bri felt drained emotionally and physically. She didnt want to stand or move, but knew she would not be able to fall asleep if she tried, even though thoughts died before they could manifest. Masculine vocals broke through the haze that sufficated brain and cranium flipped to look at him, lifting from its resting place as voids met. I see them occasionally. I still live within the tribal village, but on the outskirts, closer to the forest's edge. I was given my own house after I was Choosen. I mostly see the childern, they do not avoid my presance, but I do see the elders. Mostly whenever I am passing though to go to the Choosen consul every month. Shoulders lifted, a small, personal smile fluttering across features as she remembered the last "meeting." Out of the many who had been Choosen by the spirits, she was the only woman to hold one of the positions of "honor" and to add insult to injury, she held one of the most sought after positions as the Guardian. Most of her peers sent glares her way, but these did not bother her as the desertion by her tribe and family did. Instead, the looks of hatred made her laugh at the men's antics. Did they really think she cared for them? Their opinions didn't matter. She no longer day dreamed about marrying one of the more handsome men in the tribe, not once she had seen how he felt about her being more important than him. No, no more arranged marriages for her. As if her parents would consider it anylonger anyway. Her father never talked to her and her mother simply looked pained whenever Bri came to visit.

It became clear just how sheltered of a life that the girl lead when she reached out in curiousity to his cell phone when it was pulled from his pocket looking as though she had never seen one before. Brow was raised slightly though he did not comment. He figured that now was not the time. He felt bad though knowing she had never to her knowledge wandered out of this forest and while some people of her tribe might be alright with that she would never experience reality and never experience the rest of the world since there was so much more out there. He was the one to know about that, sure it was not all good in fact most was horrible but you needed to experience it. After would be the time to decide whether you wanted to spend the rest of your life locked behind the invisible bars this land seemed to have for her. From what she told him it seemed like a very lonely life. The children did not avoid her though he was sure that if their parent saw that they would be directed to stay away from her, the Elders seeing her once a month did not seem to be enough either since living in solitude was not good for your mental state, yet another thing that he knew about personally. Stomach churned at the thoughts of the times that he spent in his own wallowing self misery. Not allowing anyone near to him becoming a monster that he himself did not even recognize as himself. Its not fair. He stated quietly gaze directed then to the tree before them absent mindely. Interest was still within voids upon their chat though he was trying to summon up more words. They should not get to choose how you run your life no matter whether or not you are chosen. There is so much out there in the real world beyond the forest. I could not imagine being trapped like that. As for living alone in the outskirts of the forest that was something that was probably lonely as well. Ivories clamp on his bottom lip bringing his focus back to reality, why did he care about this though? Why was he still here? It was rare for him to even offer to go for coffee with someone though this girl seemed to draw him in whether it was because she was so vulnerable and innocent and his vampiric instincts were picking up on that he did not know. Though he did not feel he could ever harm her. He was genuinely intruiged and the words that came from her mouth. Head was tilted slightly as gaze washed over her. Unsure of what to think.

Emerald gaze suddenly registered the lass' comprehension of her surroundings, chin lifting so she could see the male. Crown tilted curiously as orbs roam over mascule facade before falling down to again take in his stature as if seeing him anew. His words... They conveyed resentment at her situation and concern for her? Why? Interest in the vertually unknown male was thereby increased eminsely. Weight shifted forward, legs swinging beneath the lass from their cross legged position till she was seated upon her calves, figure inching closer to his side in a hesitant way. The maiden was unsure of a lot of things at the time. Unsure of herself, the wolf, the way her life would turn out, but all of these uncertainties were forgotten as unrelated others cloud normally sensical mind. Nares flared, noticing for the first time how sweet he smelled underneath the overcoat of death. Torso leaned into him, shades closing over depths as she breathed in deeper, blindly experiencing the strange attraction of a victum. Alarm bells went off the the damsel's head, yet she ignored them, successfully blocking Caza off from taking control with her new found mental ability. Smiling drunkingly, the maiden opened groggy eyes, staring, unfocused, at the vampire. You smell good. Vocals promptly inform him, words lingering upon her tongue, causing a slight slur. Uncontrolable giggles burst forth from cavern then, a shy look shotting at Dario from beneath eyelash hooded liquids.

Eyes were cast out into the darkness though failed to fall on anything that might capture his attention a small sigh parting rose kissers as a misty substance was expelled into the atmosphere. It was a part of blending in with the humans, he no longer her to even think about keeping himself breathing at a normal pattern after this many year of practise. Palms were placed in his laps fingers entwining with one another since he knew that if he allowed them freedom he would end up fiddling with something and being rather annoying. His thoughts were now on the last time that he had entered this forest. A small smirk fell on rose kissers as the comedy played over in his mind. Persued by the male shape shifter that had the idea of hunting him. The male was not even half his age and had none of the sort of training that he had undergone. It had been nothing but a game. It went on for nearly three hours until he had gotten bored enough to simply leave the other within the forest and carry on his merry way. He had never seen the other again and the male had not done a good job at tracking him if that was the plan so not another thought was given to the situation though this seemed to bring back the memory. He was brought back to reality as all of a sudden a strange motion was made by the female by his side. Brow was raised though it was nearly impossible to notice in the darkness that enclosed them. She moved in his direction seeming to inhale the scent that he knew radiated off him. He felt a little uncomfortable knowing this was only the effect of being what he was. It was simply to lure the prey within his grasps. As she neared him he was completely rigid looking as though he was ready to shoot up from his seated position at any moment. Uhm. Thanks? He stated softly looking in her direction and swallowing the lump that seemed to have formed in his throat. None of his predatory instincts had kicked in since he kept them buried so low beneath the calm facade that seemed to be plastered to his features though when in reality he was in an inner turmoil. What was she doing? And why? She looked hazy like most girls seemed to look when they were drunk. He resisted the urge to move away from her since she did not seem to be in the right mind. Ivories clamp at his bottom lip. He was a complete gentleman though and did not retreat nor did he do anything to make her feel uncomfortable.

Figure leaned away from his slightly then, nostrils catching a waft of fresh forest air. Mind cleared instantly, frown forming upon features as the previous moments were relayed to herself. What was that? Dome shook and she sat back on her heels, hand moving to rub her forehead breifly before gaze lifted and found the male, confused expression turned in his direction as she scooted away some. You're welcome.... I guess. Nares flare again, this time catching only the scent of death as she had multiple times previous. Frown deepened then, facade thoughtful as she tried to pinpoint what it was that made her loose herself so easily as she had; had made her drop her guard. Umm... What was that? Why did you all of the sudden smell different to me than you do now? Vocals ask, speaking aloud her inner wonderings in an attempt to understand. Perhaps he could explain, and then again perhaps he could not. The male had not seemed to react as if her statement was normal. Actually, it had seemed to him just as strange as it sounded to her now that she went over the last few minutes. Could it have been a reaction her kind have to his? Had he ever met another like her? Earlier, he had known what she was almost instantly. What all had he seen in his lifetime besides places? What kind of people had he known? How many people had he killed to live? Throat closed up at the thought, the essa working hard to get the knot that suddenly seemed stuck at the top of esophagus down into her stomach. It should not be so hard for her to comprehend. Dario was a vampire and she knew even without him having to say anything how things would work. Even if before, he had made it clear not all of what she had learned through her people's tales were true of all his species, but he could not change how he fed. Besides, the maiden knew, somewhere deep inside, that Caza would kill for her if ever she needed to in order for the pair of them to survive this world. The wolf's spirit would not allowed Bri to die so suddenly, especially not from hunger. What would happen if he fed on me? The thought was surprising to her, though it intriqued her more than any of the other questions she had been asking herself, but also something that set the damsel's other half closer to enraged frenzy. Soothing thoughts helped to calm the inner beast, but all other ponderance on the subject would be prohibited for now. Still, it would be an interesting thing to learn....

She then took a deep breath of the air that surrounded them the scent of the forest seeming to clear her mind as a look of confusion crossed his features. Though he did not mind the close proximity they were now in and a small pang of something unrecognized stung him as she moved away again. She seemed ashamed to get as close to him as she had and yet it did not put her at ease that he had tried to prove to her that he meant no harm after just over 300 years he had some control even though he was looked upon as a monster it was not like the movies where he was waiting for her to be the most vulnerable and pounce on her though he assumed that she knew that since she was still around to talk to him. He shrugged not knowing what he could say since he really did not know how to explain what had happened he had managed to keep himself at a distance though it had not just affected her since he felt drawn to her though he was just able to fight it a lot more silently. I don't know that has never happened to me either. Though his thoughts did not linger on the situation for long. A small rustle deep within the bushes caught his attention. And an aroma that he did not think highly of. He felt his stomach churn what did he owe this presence? He stood. His entire frame was rigid it was clear to see that his fight response had kicked in with the muscles that ceased and bulged from his forearms as fists clench. Kneeling back to where she sat again tones were very quiet for only her ears. We are no longer alone. He did not state that the person within the bushes was one of the most dangerous he had known in his lifetime. He hoped that Bri would have common sense and leave him to deal with it as the stunning figure of a female vampire was revealed. Jaw line was harsh as ivories clamp on eachother in a death grip that stopped the flowing words that threatened to spill forth and her presence tested every cell in the man's body it would be so easy to lose control for him right now and wind up beating the living daylights out of her though with her training and his lack recently she would probably win so that would mean not so good things for Bri. Caprice. Always a pleasure, to what do I owe this pleasure? The words were cryptic and eerie a tone that had never been used in the other females presence. Your newest playtoy? Man they do come and go. Weren't you ever taught not to play with your food. The silky lyrics were taunting though he knew that if he lost control right now it would be playing right into her game. Flowing coppery golden locks were exotic with the mocha skin that carressed her body giving her an exotic air. Ivories grind almost inaudibly though she could see with the look on his face that she had gotten to him he shifted slightly the breeze was blowing the right way that the scent of the shifter had not reached her so of course Caprice just thought she was a mere human that he had dragged out for a midnight walk. Let's skip the small talk. He stated harshly giving a sign for her to tell him what he wanted. Well apparently you were too busy to answer your phone but you left enough of a trail for me to find you here. Losing your touch, darling? She took a step forth with a cruel smirk palm reached up to touch his cheek. He flinched visibly hating the physical contact between them. As she got closer eyes washed over the shifter that sat by the tree. Interest perked her senses as she got a closer look. ... Interesting. She stated quietly before looking back to Dario. You have something I need. Half an hour. The library. Without another statement she was gone. Digits rubbed his temples easing the headache that was starting to settle though he did not have much time to think about it he turned back to Bri with a small frown. I am sorry to put you in danger like that it was not right. He took a step back. It hurt him to think about though he knew he would not allow himself to come back he could not put this girl in danger she was too kind and innocent for that she did not deserve it he was a bad influence. It was very nice meeting you Bri but I unfortunately have to go. Eyes washed over her memorizing her features the sparkling green eyes hid by heavy lashes, her dark tanned skin from the outdoors the exotic beauty she portrayed. Before he was able to stop himself he took a step forth wrapping arms gently around her in a brief embrace. Before turning back to the path that would carry him away from the terrain. Back to the clutches of reality in which he hated. He hated that he could not give her an explaination though Caprice was good at what she did and if he was not there in precisely half an hour he would be laying in a ditch somewhere.

Attentive depths watched the bloke while she awaited the answer, trying to decipher his take on the situation, though she quickly found it useless. Cleanly shaped masculine features remained hard as stone, hardly ever allowing any change to express emotions or thoughts. She as well had been taught to control physical attributes and to disguise any emotion as well as any trail she may leave behind on her travels, yet she found the foremost rather irritating and therefore choose to express herself as all humans do, rather than be a statue of another dimension. These skills were also less developed than that of the lord due to lack of practice. At least the lass had one thing for her. Paitence. That was one lesson no instructor could ever instill in the pupil if the latter was unwilling to learn, and it is often the hardest concept to grasp, taking a student nearly almost twice as long, if not more, to completly develop to the point where one could put it to use. Dome tilts and gaze leaves him at the answer supplied, an intrigued expression across dark face. This guise did not last long, however, for the noise that caught the man's attention also attracted hers, the fatal surpressing a involentary jolt of surprise. Growling inward at herself for allowing something to sneak up on her in her OWN woods, crown whips around, emeralds staring intently at the brush. Focus shifted to her companion as he stood, a frown forming up at him as orbs took in the tense stance and taunt muscles. I highly doubt this over-reaction is warrented. Even the creatures of this forest do not deserve such a counterance. At his remark, lips parted to release a sarcastic come-back, but shut abruptly as the scent of the newly arrived fiend reached nostrils. For a long time, voids did not leave the womanly figure as she stepped from her cover, the stench of death nearly overwhelming to the shifter now as two of the night-walkers were now congregated in the same place. Mossy liquids did eventually trade one for the other as Dario spoke, Bri soaking in his words and defensive position to decide that the pair knew each other. At the demeaning title the vampress slapped upon her, Caza rose to the surface, a menicing look and a growl threatening to be displayed in return, but the girl held them at bay, taking a unspoken hint from the drake to play the part of a defensless mortal, forcing mask to twist into a mascerade of fear. It was only after the fact that she began to wonder if the attempt was useless. The duke had seemed to notice what she was instantly and even though the winds were in their favor, as they nearly always were for the spirit child, the damsel could not help but wonder if all the factors were exploited in vain. The charaid was nearly abandoned as the unknown fea reached for contact with the other vampire, an instinctive sort of protectivenes rousing the vixen as a whole. Surprise is what kept the snarl from ripping forth from feminate mouth, visionage returning to one of a scared being instantly as the error was discovered and corrected. What is this that causes the spirits within me to rouse in unison? Why do they leap to defend a immortal just met by both and distrusted by one? Rouge is maintained until it was clear the other had left, limbs lifting graceful frame to a stand while the baron looked her way. Kind smile spreads at his apology, limbs carrying her closer, tiara tilted and gems roaming openly over chalky features. You do not know this forest, wasicu. The threats associated with your aquiantance would not be apologized for if you did. Foreign tongue had a tender touch to it, as if an elder was speaking to a adolesant, the word meaning twisting a riddicule into an endearment. Hand lifted and curiously smoothed his cheek where the other maiden had touched, fingers brushing lightly against the cold flesh to find it unlike the the marble it mimicked. Extremity fell after a moment, tips lingering there upon his chin. She felt strangely at peace considering the previous event, but that feeling drained away when his words dismissed himself, the quick embrace leaving her rather shocked. Eyes blinked after his departing silhoette for a long pause before muscles came alive, stilts carrying her to the edge of the forest, a pang of pain washing through system as she strained against the borderline. Dario! Arms clung lightly a truck nearby, tunes calling out to him, waiting till he turned around before continuing. Will you come back? Innocent lyrics emmit, mask passive for once.

Walking away from this girl was possibly one of the hardest things he had to do in a long time. He felt so drawn to her even if he had not known her for very long. Knowing that he would not run into her on the street and see her around town would make it a little easier knowing that would try to turn him into a softy and give in to his desires. The brief embrace was over before he knew it and he was forced to release the girl to her own prison, the forest. He swallowed a lump that seemed to be forming in his throat. He could not spare himself a backwards glance since he felt the invisible pull towards the stunning girl and he knew that with one look he would be back in her company once again and if he valued hits quality of life he would not do this. He was danger for her and Caprice was a danger for him. Maybe. He stated with a glum look in her direction though he avoided her gaze. He bit his lip keeping the words from his tongue though his face spoke the words he was not portraying it was clear that he was in the midst of a mental debate. Bye. He stated quietly before frame was swivelled the turned in the opposite direction carrying bulk at a rapid beat through the forest knowing he did not have enough time to get to the place she had described on time since he no longer had the use of a car. He made a mental note that he really should invest in another car since he crashed his beloved piece of metal into the side of a rock face. Eyes were rolled at the thought of that ridiculous adventure, a vain attempt in a vampiric suicide which proved just as unsucessful as he thought it might. Though he took this as a sign from a higher authority that he was meant to walk the Earth for yet another couple hundred years. Steps were light carrying him in the well known direction of their meeting place. He did not linger even as he approached the place where the forest ended and the street began he knew that it might look a little strange just emerging from the bushes in the manner that he had though it did not matter since it could cost him his sanity. Breath was accelerating to a point where it caught in his throat as he reached the place where he was destined of course the foul lady was already there waiting with a cruel smirk placed on her features. After just under an hour of conversing they came to an agreement. Steps carried him away from the building back to the place he had been staying for the entire time he was here, back from Hitari. Wishing he would have stayed there since she would have never found him. Even when he entered the house he was unable to get the girl off his mind and wondering if she was alright. He wanted to make sure that Caprice did not go to see her and the hair on the back of his neck stood up on the back of his neck and he felt she was his responsibility since he had lead the horrible vampire in her direction so dark coat was pulled over broad shoulders as he entered the forest from the back of the house again he did not know how he was going to find the girl and he tried to convince himself the only reason he was going to see her was because he worried about Caprice and her lack of morales and she would most likely not hold up her end of the deal. Since she loved to see Dario miserable.

For a moment, the girl's heart lept to her throat as after she had called out his name, the bloke continued walking, almost as if he had not heard her. Then, as he stopped, it was almost as if her organ had stopped beating, apprehension for his answer so thick upon the air that nothing else was heard. All sounds of the forest and it's inhabitants ceased to exist for those still, breathless lapses in time. Hopes fell as did her arms from the tree as he spoke, emerald pair refusing to leave his sihouette even though she wished to turn around swiftly and return to the forest which both imprisoned and hid her from the world. The essa watched as he started away from the wood once again, mask seemingly carved by an exotic scultors hands for it did not change, nor did lips part to say the goodbye that most would expect. Pale figure was lost in the shadows by the time the damsel spun and walked back into her domain, not that it mattered to her anyway. Chin lifts and eyes turn up to look at the moon, long strands falling from her shoulders to cascade down her back, shining as the rays hit them. Breathing in the night's air, she allowed shades to close, soaking up the light brother moon provided for a long time, senses alert and bodice unmoving. Finally, the howl of the pack called her spirit from its solitude and limbs moved in answer, sight returning sharper than before as the wolf took over her body. System jumped into a sprint, muscular legs carrying mass easily as feet landed softly, making hardly any sound so as only the animals she protected and her Choosen brethern would know her. Speed did not dwindle till she was half way through the territory, the house hidden by thick brush and a heavy tree line becoming barely visible to enhanced sight as she advanced. Home. The single word echoed throughout her head while strides shortened, slowing her progress till the shifter was found walking, breathing only slightly accelerated as she slipped through the small opening in the cover which only she knew and approached the small residency from the backside, turning the knob on her door and moving into the dark, familar space. Instinct told her of anothers presance and once inside she froze, standing in the doorway with the moon's illumenesance at her back. Slowly, hand moved with the frame till it was closed, nostrils flaring to catch the scent of one of the men of her tribe, a fowl taste coming to her mouth as she thought of him. What are you doing in my house, Cat? Distasteful words were met with laughter from the male, his body rising from where he had been relaxing on her couch.

The hairs on the back of his neck were standing up. Something was not right in this situation he could feel himself nearing the dark depths of the forest and yet she had spotted him so easily the time before and come to greet him so therefore there was something holding her back this time. Of course it could just as easily be the fact that maybe she went home and to bed like a normal person though for some reason he did not feel that was the situation. He hated to know what would happen if he happened to stumble on the place where her tribe lived. He would be chased out of there with pitchforks and flames on torches, after all was that not the way that all the old wives tales went? He knew that he was unable to hide the scent of death that clung to him though hopefully he would be the one downwind and his scent would not blow on the breeze in their direction since he did not plan to disturb them he simply wanted to make sure that Caprice had stood to her promise of leaving the girl alone. Though he knew that she found it hilarious to toy with him and despite trying to hide it she had seen that he was intruiged by the girl and she was one of the best trackers in all of Europe when she was using her talents. She would be able to find the girl with no hesitation and even with the beast within Bri was no match for her. Not saying that Bri could not hold her own. Steps were quiet as he navigated the terrain spotting a small cluster of houses in the clearing before him though he did not get any closer since he would be able to fight off one but a huge mob might be a little over his head. He lurked along the outside determined to find the small house on the outskirts that Bri told him that she lived in. Interest was sparked at a fire in the middle and a small gatheing though he knew that it would be a death wish to linger any longer and kept moving breath was allowed out as soon as he realized he had not been seen. He followed what looked like a small trail into what he assumed to be where she lived. Bursting through the clearing he did not care if she saw him since she had told him that no one visited her so that would mean that he would be safe. He knew she would probably be angry with the manner in which he had left stating that he might not ever return and that was truly the mans' intentions before he realized how much he cared about the well being of her. Palm was raised to knock lightly on the wood knowing that the accute hearing would pick up the noise without making a racket. He could hear talking from the inside and interest was sparked though he did not eavesdrop, that was not like him.

Resentful glare followed the tall, shadowy figure as it moved through her living room without making a sound, stopping about a foot away from her, rows of teeth peeking out from behind dark kissers in a arrogant grin. The maiden refused to backway, despite the urge to again put distance between them. She did not appreciate him being in her personal space and he knew that, therefore he stood close enough to where he though he could spark her anger further. That is why she would not show any sign of discomfort, she did not want to give him the pleasure of a triumph. "Can I not come see you Bricaza?" Smug words reply, the same smile returning to features. Disgust left a bitter taste in the woman's mouth. He was so concieded it was sickening. To think, she had at one time have done anything to attract his attention. Quick, irritated sigh escaped from mouth, arms crossing in front of chest just before the damsel forces herself closer, grinting her teeth briefly as she did so. Only if you wish to leave wounded. I am not a thing to toy with as you seem to believe. Shoulder pushed against his roughly as she stepped past him, moving around the counter and placing it between herself in the kitchen and he in the living room. Stopping to face him across the mock marble, the male let loose a few deep chuckles, obviously amused further with himself and the visit than he had been before. Growl rose in her throat, yet she held it at bay, instead biting down rather hard on her lower lip. Why did he have to make everything so complicated? Couldn't he just leave her alone like the rest? No, that would be too kind of him. The bastard. Of all the people of my generation in our village, I can understand why the Trickster choose him, yet, I can not help, but wish he had made the choice of a more stupid brute. A soft agreeing sound is heard within her mind, coming from the wolf. "You know better than to say that, Guardian. Every being, every thing, is apart of my game. Even you, little wicicala." This time, she could not keep the sound of her spirit from escaping, a dead silence following even from the duke. He knew full well who she was and even the Trickster would not willingly enter into a scuffle with the Guardian. If this is your purpose for entering my home then I command you to leave, Cat. I want nothing further to do with your foolishness. Sneak your way into another woman's household. Your charm holds nothing for me anylonger. Hard tunes are released towards him, arms now at her sides while fingernails bite into the flesh of her palm, but this pain was over-looked for it was merely a discomfort that would not last. Again, the baron laughs, moving from where he stood around to the kitchen till he was inches from the lass, the characteristic blackness of his iris shining like onyx at the girl, his usual crooked grin meeting her emerald orbs. "The elders will see us tomorrow at sundown. I was told to inform you." Words paused then, hand lifting to grab the fatal's chin tightly before she had the time to dodge. "Perhaps next time you shall be a better participant in my hoax. I assure you, the end shall be a marvelous thing to behold and you, wicicala, play a part in it's unfolding, whether it is what you wish for or not." Jaw line tightened, a firey definance entering the fea's depths as she lifted her forearm swiftly to break his grip and succeeded. After allowing her to catch a final glimpse at his amused grin, the drake turned quickly and was out the door as quietly as he had probably arrived. Feet remained rooted to the spot for a long moment afterwards, counterance still an emotionless mask as Bri stood still in the shadows. Then, there was a soft knock at her door, causing her to jump a little at its abruptness. Chastising herself for allowing someone to sneak up on her, she moved to the back door, breathing in deeply as she neared as was her habitual way of learning who a person was before allowing them access to her home. The odd smell of her guest instantly reassured her and hand twisted the knob, form stepping back as she pulled the door open. I suppose I made my home easy enough to find. I shall have to work on that later. Smile greeted the bloke, playful syllables finding their way off her tongue easily enough. Come in, if you would like. She politely offered, stepping further away from the threshold as she did so.
