They were not the only ones with accute senses, nose crinkled as the scent of another much like her passed by him senses were on high alert as frame became rigid, biceps flexing and broad shoulders raising slightly. As soon as the scent was diminished the girl appeared at the door. He had not seen the other pass by so brow was raised slightly searching the depths of the foliage to try to pick out what might have lurked there a moment earlier though he had been trying not to eavesdrop when the other had been inside talking so he did not have a clue what was going on. Soon enough though he pretty maiden's features illuminated by a single porch light appeared. The door opening and vocals reached out to him. A small smile appearing on pallid kissers. I am very sorry. I did not mean to follow you here. But there was no denying it he had. In his moment of fear that Caprice might not keep to her word he had come here even though if he remembered one thing about the other vampire it was she always kept her word when there was something in the deal for her and this time there definately was. Ivories bit down on his bottom lip though it was completely unseen to her as he fumbled for the next words that might be pried from his lips though she stepped away from the door inviting him in. Thank you, I won't stay long its late. Her murmered half the time he would forget that people needed a lot more sleep then he did. He felt refreshed if it was only an hour or two and his naps were mostly in the day time leaving him to roam and do his errands at night. After you have operated like that for a hundred years or so the habit is hard to break. Eyes washed over the inside of the house as he entered. Shoes were discarded at the door as it was the polite thing to do since people did not like to clean up after you stomp all over their floor in your dirty shoes and especially since he had been running through the forest the entire night in vague hope of trying to find this place. It had not been her scent that he had followed but the scent of the other that had left before he had arrived. His scent had been much stronger to him. I am sorry about earlier. I did not mean to put you in danger, and I had to come to make sure you were alright. He stated the words broke down the walls that he had held so high. It was easy to see that he cared about her well being and truly did mean the words that came from his lips. So much for the lack of empathy vampires were supposed to feel towards others. In the last couple years this was what made him flee the Coven in which he had grown up in. The senseless murders got to him and even though it was not shown he could not longer take part in the actions knowing someones loved one was dead because of him. He could not imagine the feelings of revenge that would strike him if something had ever happened to Axel or Harlen at the times where he loved them.

Soft laughter came at his answer to her tease, head tilting thoughtfully as they dwindled down. I do not think that excuse quite befits you. Vocals spoke, a smile turning to the male. Perhaps if I used it, one would believe me because the wolf can take me anywhere without my conscience knowing, but I am nearly certain your condition is not the same as my own. Features follow him as he steps indoors, but she frowns at his mention of the time and pausing at the threshold a little longer, leans out of the doorway to gaze at the moon, judging the time by its place in the sky. It is not too late and you forget; though I seem human, part of me is a nocturnal beast. Hand pushed the door shut quietly while the essa retreated back into her home, passing in front of her guest to move into the kitchen. While the damsel retrieved two glasses from a cabinet above her head and a water jug from the fridge, she watched Dario from the corners of her eyes, grinning to herself as he took of his shoes off at the door. When she saw him gazing around her home, Bri suddenly felt very self concious. The furnishings of the house were simple and frankly very personal. All the furniture had polished tree limbs that looked as if they had been cut off the tree then dipped in sealant as their support frame. The cusions on the couch had a typical native american design on them; dark hues of red, brown, green, and blue in zig-zag patterns running length wise along the fabric. The walls of her home were mostly bare, with the exception of a few paintings that hung upon nails sporatically throughout the house. For the girl, all this gave the place the perfect homey feel, though another may view it differently. She was pouring the water into her glass as he explained while he was there, emerald orbs focused on the liquid for a moment longer as the glass filled and she set the jug upright upon the counter. Gaze lifted then, a small grin shooting across to him. I was not in danger, though your concern is sweet. I am fine. My unexpected visitor tonight is not related to my aquaintance with you. Her annoyance with Cat was hidden as she took a drink from her cup, setting it back down with expression free as she banished the previous encounter from her mind. Can I get you something to drink or eat? Only after the words were out of her mouth did the lass think about what she had just asked. Did he even drink or eat anything? Feeling sheepish, she wished she had simply kept her mouth shut and not said anything, although the vixen knew either way she would think herself rude.

It looked to him as though she had caught on, he had allowed himself to fall victim to this intruiging lady. Knowing that no matter what he must be able to see her again, and yet the excuse he used did not quite cut it. Of course he had sought her out following the soft earthy scent that clung to her just as the distinctive scent of the immortal clung to him. Nose crinkled to distaste at this thought though there was nothing that he would be able to do about it. She never ceased to facinate him, when he mentioned that it was getting late instead of her then moving to look at a clock of some sort of time device she looked up to the moon using her connection to nature to judge the time that had passed. Interesting. He wishd he could be that intune to nature though it was just not in the males persona. He was too unnatural in simply the being in which he was created to be connected to nature in the same manner as the girl. He stepped now within the threshold since that seemed to be what she wanted. He did not linger back and make it look as though he was hesitant. He did not plan to overstay his welcome. He nodded when she spoke that she was as well as him a nocturnal beast. He understood what that was like, to be up at almost all hours while the rest of the world slept, boring as hell really since nothing was open and unless you have a good sense of imagination there is only so much late night television you can take. So thats when the male usually did all his workouts and such to ensure that he would not have to deal with the excessive boredom. The house was simple and elegant varnished with what lay closest to the females heart, something that reflected souly to make the place comfortable and not over run by nick knaks or other decorations to look flashy and ridiculous yet another thing that intruiged him. Eyes wander to the native american blanket and a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips though he did not mention anything about it. You have a very nice home. He stated genuinely. He already knew that the visitor had not been Caprice since he would have been able to sense her from miles away and there was no trace and yet he still felt compelled to visit the girl only to be bombarded by the scent of a feline. Though he did not take much thought to it. She did not look ill at ease so he simply assumed it was a friend. A nod was uttered as she then asked him if he would like a drink. Water would be great thanks. He stated, she looked as though she was unsure of what to offer him and he chuckled. I eat food and drink like a normal person as well. He stated with a small smirk. Steps were nearly inaudible as he entered the kitchen palm resting on the counter as gaze then fell on her for a moment waiting to see the expression that would cross her face. Of course she did not know what to expect and he was glad that she met him instead of one of the other vampires that gave them a horrid name, though that was not saying that he was any less dangerous.

Broad smile beamed across the bar at the male's compliment, pride filling her as she glanced around, taking in the work she had done with the place once more and finding satisfaction in the way it appeared. Thank you. You are just lucky I cleaned last night. Turning emeralds back to him, she laughed a little then, at his reply to her previous question about sustinence, reached across the bar where she had set the second glass. She flipped it right side up, having set it down upside down, and poured the water into it till it was little less than half an inch from the edge. Having not noticed he had moved, she looked up, expecting to see him still across the way, but instead found him gone. That instant, insticts prickled, the hairs upon the back of her neck standing on end as she shifted, chin tilted down a bit where dark hair covered features, and faced him. Breathing excellerated a little, hardly very noticeable to even immortals with advanced senses, but it was not out of fear. Gaze rose while the maiden held up his cup, pools meeting his as strands fell away from tanned face. Paitently, she waited till he took the drink from her grip and then turned back to the fridge, creating some space between them in response to the foreign heat that had spread across her cheeks. Hunger had slowly started to tear at the fatal's insides and now were protesting her unintentional abstinence. Grabbing the bread, ham and cheese, she retreated from her safe haven of cold air, the slight tinge of redness gone from features when she turned and placed the things upon the counter. Taking a drink from her cup, she thought back to his statement about eating and drinking about a normal person, unable to hold back the small grin that creased lips wider. It seemed she was even worse at hiding her emotions and expressions with this bloke around or perhaps he was just more experienced at reading those hints people gave out? Both were likely occurances. Without putting much care into it, she slapped together a few sandwiches and, taking a bite out of one, moved to sit on the counter in an smooth motion, depths watching him. Feel free to have one if you want. I have been needing to eat for a little while now and did not feel much like hunting out fresh meat tonight. She gestured towards the sandwiches as she spoke, having left out the bread and such just in case both of them were still hungry after eating what she had made. Sorry, I still am not quite sure how to handle the newness. Smile flashed at him before she took another bite of her sandwich, mind still on the previous awkwardness of her hoping she had not offended him. It was hard trying to not step on eggshells and simply was something Bricaza was not familiar with. She did not care about upsetting any from her tribe and therefore said and did as she pleased, but with Dario, she did not want to do anything that might put him off, leaving her with no one to talk with. Bri appreciated his presance for what it was and had become paranoid of loosing it.

She told him that he was lucky that she cleaned the night before and a smal roll of his eyes indicated that he hardly thought it would have been that bad since he did not picture the woman as a slob. It was her own house though so what happened with it was nothing of his business. He did not find it offensive that she did not know much about the race since I mean how much could you possible learn from being stuck in the woods from the time that you were born? It was cruel almost that the tribe seemed to be so adamant about the suclusion of their people. Did any of them know of anything about the supernatural world that lay right beneath their noses, apart from the stories used to haunt small children when it came time for bed time. I mean she knew nothing but the horrors of the vampiric world. I mean sure that was the vast majority but there is good as much as there is bad in anything in life. The cup was then offered to him full of water that she had just poured. Thank you. He uttered softly taking the glass being careful not to brush fingers with her since he would be sure that the sensation would be a shock to her and one of them would end up shattering the glass on the floor and that was something he did not want. He enjoyed the effortless ness of their meetings and the ease that had now settled over the both of them. The sensation of the cooled skin would be too much. She then turned her attention back to what she was doing. She moved to the back door and settled on a bunch of ingredients bringing them back in from the cold that had settled within the darkness of the evening and placed them on the counter and busied herself making a sandwich also offering him one. He shook his head. He was no hungry before they had met he had a filling meal at the local diner. Sure it would curb the feeling of blood lust but eventually there would be nothing left to do but fill that need as well though that would not happen until it was completely unbearable. He planned to stay in this town as long as possible and soon the humans would be suspicious sure he was careful but he could never trust that no one would ever see him. And from then it was only a matter of time until he was forced upon another town. It seemed to be a revolving door that never seemed to stay open for quite long enough. Though this was the first time he had allowed himself to enter another persons life. Sure it was only two meetings and did not mean a lot though it was rare for him. He was almost enjoying the risque behavior he was exhibitting. Cup was brought to his lips eyes then turning to the darkness that lay illustrated by the window behind her. Finding nothing there of interest his attention was then turned back to her offering a small smile. That is fine. I won't take offense to something like that. He knew that it was common to not like it when someone was glancing at you when you were eating so he simply waited until she seemed to be finished before gaze locked on her again waiting for her to speak after staying silent through that time.

Fading smile remained on her face as he reassured her worries about offending him, eyes dropping from his frame to look at the tile flooring of the kitchen. Feeling much like a child, she remained propped upon the counter eating her sandwhich with legs swinging slightly to no sanctioned rythum. Instinct compelled her to glance up and upon finding that he had found other things to occupy his vision for the time being besides her, the maiden again studied him. This creature, this man, fascinated the girl like none had ever been able to and it was more than his particular, rare condition which ignited her curiousity. The pull she felt towards him was something she could not explain and yet it was real and ever present. Slowly, the snack was brought to her mouth, disappearing bite by bite. With each passing moment, more questions pilled within her cranium which she was burning inside to ask him, pushing the issue closer to infatuation. Before she realized, the snack she had made herself was gone, leaving nothing to excuse the silence streaching it's long arm between them. Seeing he had no interest in the food she had left upon the counter, the woman pushed herself from her seat, feet landing lightly upon the tile before moving her closer to Dario. Quietly, she put what she had left out back into the fridge, trying without success to ignore the feeling that he was watching her every move. It was not that it made her feel uncomfortable, but having those eyes on her made it very easy to become paranoid. Closing the door to the appliance, figure spun and gaze met the bloke's, body side stepping hip rested against the counter and hand found glass. Bringing the cool water to her lips, the fatal broke the connection. glancing off towards her living room for a moment before once again directing brilliant pair at her companion. Come. Sit down. Vocals were spoken as she shifted forward, palm lifting to touch his shoulder breifly as she passed, unable to resist the urge to know what he felt like. Even through the fabric of his shirt, the essa could tell the skin that encased his inards as cold and hard as marble, very much unlike the warm, supple flesh of men she was only newly aquainted with. Her move also stirred the wolf inside, a calm warning again ringing throughout the native's mind although it was given with a more trusting voice and afterwards, just before Caza shut off the connection, Bri would have sworn she had caught her other half thinking of touching him again. Bending gracefully, the girl settled herself upon the couch, orbs following the night walker to see if he would bow to her wishes and join her. After a moment, Bri leaned over and set her glass upon the end table, mentally gathering herself before straightening. Would you mind remedying my curiousity? Living here, among my people, I do not learn much of the outside world execpt from what I am told. I do not trust all that has been instilled within me to be true. Trusting expression watched Dario paitently, the anxiousness hidden beneath false mask. She had choosen him to ask these questions of that had built up within her brain until the multitude of the unknown felt nearly overwhelming to her. Yet, it was not just the usual questions which she planned to ask him. Knowledge was a prescious thing and something she indeed lacked in many areas, but out of all, the subject that intrigued her most was his kind and perhaps the existance of other mortals. Also, she wanted to learn some part of his life, if he would tell her any of it, and perhaps coax out of him how the woman walker from the forest had found them that night without any of the creatures alerting their Guardian.

The girl seemed to always intruige him, the manner in which she was sitting at the counter was almost childish and a smile was forced on lips curling them in an upward motion, finding it rather facinating, her youthfulness was refreshing since the man had wandered the Earth more times then he could count and quite frankly he was sick of it, perhaps he would finally settle somwhere, see what life was like from that point of view. The only times he had settled somewhere he got into trouble though, Axel being killed, Harlen running off to who knows where. Ha, way to kick him when he was down. This had only been the start to the mans' problems though lets not get into that right now. He was more focused on the girl sitting there peacefully eating her sandwich. Looking as though she enjoyed every bit of life that was thrown in her direction, he wished he could have that outlook on life though it seemed virtually impossible. He had seen wars, he had been pain and suffering to a catastrophic quantity, that changes a person. He was merely a shadow of what he used to be. Before he had changed he had been genuinely good, a caring individual who was an asset to any community. Now he was nothing but an asshole. The silence that seemed to stretch between them was not awkward at all for him, she was merely eating so to ask her to eat and talk at the same time would not be ladylike. He turned away as she seemed to busy herself with putting all the makings away. Scanning the house. He was on his best behaviour around her, completely silencing the course words that might have been uttered to anyone else. Well for one, if it was anyone else he would not be in their house right now, he would not have lingered long enough to talk to them in the forest either. She then turned to the direction in which the couch lay and commanded him to sit which he obliged. The couch was comfortable and weight sunk back into the cushions providing enough support that it did not feel like he was sinking in a barrel of quick sand and not more then enough that he would feel as though he was sitting on a bunch of stones. Palms were rested on his thighs. He had over looked the brief touch on his shoulder though now it was clear on his mind. Why had it happened? What had been going through her mind at that exact moment? He mulled over this for time and time again. Ivories clamp bottom lip within their clutches for a brief moment as shoulder tense a little, he felt as though she was a delicate flower and felt a little nervous around her for these reasons. He forced solid muscles to relax enough to not hold the stiff and awkward position she had probably already become accustomed to. Ask me anything. I am not shy, I will answer to the best of my abilities. How could everything she had been told be true? Not a single person in the entire world was completely truthful, half the time people were not even truthful to their own selves. And what other choice would she have but to trust them when she knew no different? He stood for a brief moment having forgotten his glass of water on the counter they had just come from. Swift easy strides carried him there to pluck the glass up and make his way back to the couch, thoroughly interested in what she might ask now. Would it be personal questions? If it was that truly did not matter since nothing of his life was to be unexpected especially with the horrors she had probably been told about from their tribe. Caprice would surely be an area of interest since the bitch seemed to think she was allowed to pop up anywhere and disturb his life. She did not hold the influence over him anymore, she did not have anything he needed anymore. Well except the safety of the girl in which he was holding company, that could be held over his head, would he ever be free and clear from her? Doubtful. He then turned his full attention back to the girl who seemed to be brimming full of questions.

Smile shone all the way into emerald depths as the male answered her, game for whatever her curiousity might lead her to ask him. For a moment, she felt bad for traping him in a way. Without proper warning, the fatal had simply asked if he would answer her questions and without knowing what sort of questions she would ask, he had accepted. But, Bri wanted to be selfish in this. She wantedd to suprise him with her questions and read his expressions as she might perhaps catch him off guard. The woman did not want to advise him on what all she might ask about. She wanted to get to know him, the real him without any pretenses. Even if it was uncertain whether or not he would let her so close as to learn, she felt as if she had to try. Surely the pull she felt was not merely one sided! If there were any questions he wanted to ask of her, nothing would be hidden from his knowledge. Tell me more about your kind and perhaps some about my kind, if you know anything on mine. Are you and I as rare as I think us? How long can we each live? Does your life before effect your life now? I know how you feed mostly, but how long can you go without blood? Torso leaned forward with eagerness as the essa shifted her position, moving closer to him as she awaited the reply. Everything had just sort of spilled forth from her lips the moment she had let loose the flood gates. Luckily for the bloke, not everything had managed to escape by way of her tongue and was locked behind the doors of her lyranx for the time being.

He wished to be able to satisfy the girls sense of curiousity to set straight some of the rumour he was sure that she had heard over the years. He wanted to make sure that her facts were straight and he would rather her hear the truth about him through yours truly then anyone else the might be out to sabotage him. And after how many years of living there were quite a few that would not mind whispering some lies to the girl. He then set to work trying to think of somethings that she might find interesting. In fact he did not know too much about her kind, the only shape shifters he had met were Ayrn and Erixic from Hitari. Well I actually don't know too much about your own kind though I do know that they are quite rare and that vampires are much more common since vampires are made and shifters are born into lines. He took a break for a moment pulling out the glass from the corner of the end table and bringing it to his lips and sipping the cold water that was there. As for vampires. Well I can go without blood sometimes up to a week an a half, after that I get really cranky and weak, but if I am injured I can need it up to once or twice a day, as for other information, vampires are quite common and live all over the world. I came from Italy and that seemes to be where the largest amounts come from but now it varies. He paused his sentence and looked back to her spotting the interest in sparking emerald vision, a small smile crossed his features at this. Ask away, anything you want to know I am not too good of thinking of things on my own. He leaned back against the couch, never would he have imagined that he would be sitting in the stunning shifters home deep in the woods on her couch talking to her late into the evening. And talking to her as if they were old friends. He did not really have a ton of questions for her and he knew that she was itching to ask him more so he would like to satisfy the curiousity before settling the subject back onto her. If you want to truly know more about me. I am 307 years old. Born in Italy, both times, as a vampire and as a human. My human days are kind of blurry to me I supose because they are so far in the past. I was dying from the plague when I was turned and sent to a club of elite assasins on the outskirts of Venice where I lived trained and worked for the majority of my life. If this would not scare her off there would be nothing that would. But even as crude as it might sound it was an important part of his life.

Dome tilted as he began to answer some of her questions, figure still as attentive as before and by no means more relaxed. Anxiety and excitement still coursed through the young girl's veins and perhaps at an even greater pace now that her knowledge was deepening. Frown formed as he explained the rareity of her breed, but yet it was not her which he described. "Shifters are born into lines......" Perhaps I am not a shifter as we believe I am. Indeed, I do change form from one being to another as the discription requires, but my people are not "born into lines" as you say. Our ancestors do not determine whether or not we are granted with the gift of two spirits. We are choosen from birth to become what we are. The last in my line to have been in a position akin to my own was my great great grandfather. Some within the tribe have never had any sort of family history in the buisness. Owl was the first of his clan to become like me. How can I be so like and yet differ so from outsiders whose position resemble my own? Puzzled expression is turned towards him, the question rising in importance to her. Despite this, the fatal knew the male could not be of much more help upon the subject, at least, not at the present. Both knew too little of her condition, but maybe, when the maiden inquired, as she very much intended to do, to the elders about the particulars of the Choosing, Dario would be around to provide his input to the subject. With him and no one else did she care to share the information of her coming to be. May the others rot in their curiousity or discover for themselves the truth of it all, if they did not know already. Interest was expressed as he gave nearly exact time lines when he needed to feed, adjusting for changes in health to spare her a question on such. Smiling, the essa supposed he had saved his own hide in such a manner as there was one less question about particulars to be asked by her smooth vocals, twisted by the foreign accent, but still, another on the subject remained to be released. Does a certain persons blood appeal to you more than anothers? I know for myself I would prefer quail over rabbit or the occasional squirrel. Horrid rodents to eat, squirrels are. I would not advise it, even if you were to die of hunger within another hour if you did not. Smiling some figure finally relaxed, moving further back into her seat upon the couch with spine finally resting upon the backside, her enthusiasm at least contained more now than before. It pleased her that he spoke more of himself without the damsel needed to ask. The trust he showed in doing so gave her a sense of higher importance and allowed some of her own walls and limitations to which she was willing to tell to be breached. Hm. An assassin? I find that hard to believe of the man sitting calmly in my living room, unless you are here because I am your intended target, but then, I do not see of what importance I would be to a club of night-walkers from Venice. Laughing to herself, mossy depths watched the bloke, surfaces showing her true enjoyment as the smile now present upon counterance reached their glossy lenses. I was born the only child of my parents whose lineage was established here among the first of our tribe. They had prior knowledge of mine being among the Choosen, but did not inform myself or any of our village of such. I was offically Choosen as the Guardian two years hence and launched at the age of eightteen to one of our highest ranking offices in the consul. My memory is perfectly intact and actually is a bit sharper than most. As I have told you, I have not left this place my entire life. Grinning still, she related as much of her own story back to him as he had supplied of his own to her. She then found herself watching his every muscle in anticipation for when he was to speak again for she had grown fond of the deep tones of his vocals and the nearly undetectable italian slur to the few of his words. It was evident through this that english had been his foremost used language for quite some time now.

He was not too sure if the words he spoke were completely true since he had personally not met too many of her kind and even then half of them did not know a whole lot about themselves. It was all rumours it was not as though anyone was truly sure of where every immortal descended. He listened intently to her talk about the different people of her tribe that seemed to be the major importance. They seemed to think of her kind as having two spirits. It was interesting and made a whole lot of sense since it was rather impossible to have a wolf and person living in one spirit themselves. She told him that the last to be like her was her great grandfather, something that he was not expecting he thought that they would be a lot more common in the tribe since they were so close to the blood that he thought would carry it on, though her explaination about it not running in the family made a lot more sense now. This is only things that I hear, it might not be completely true. Your explaination makes a lot more sense. He stated gently then prepared to listen as another round of questions were thrust his direction. Did a certain persons blood appeal more to him then others. Of course. It is like chemistry between people, the more attracted you are to a person the more they appeal to you. Same goes for if you hate a person it is almost like a repellent. He chuckled a little at her comparison between eating different sorts of woodland animals. She seemed to be finally starting to fully relax around him which was relaxing since she seemed to understand that he was not about to jump at her throat at any moment though he did restrain himself from the wonder that was held in his own gaze. Never had someone kept the man's company for this long without wanting something from him in return. Everything in the males life had been nothing but a business deal he was just an ibject to be used and abused and his rebellion and hate for that still did not seem to change his ways. She then spoke and told him that she hardly believed he was the monster that he just stated that he was. Well if you are wishing me to prove this to you, you are out of luck. I gave up that lifestyle long enough. I managed to fall betwen the cracks of the company, which rarely happens so I took it as a sign to get out. The leader was killed and I was kept mostly out of the country on his personal business so no one even noticed me missing, for the time being. If she wanted to hear elaborate stories she would not get them he was being much too up close and personal already with her, he would not tell her the horrors of the past, she was much too innocent the way she was and she did not need to fret about the man's past since that was exactly what it was. She stated that she was an only child and in some ways he had already guessed that of her, after all she lived alone in the middle of the forest and not only that she was much more independant then a child that had a lot of siblings. He was the same way and he had been forced to grow up a little too soon as his parent used to always tell him though back in that time there was less focus on some things such as education and more focus on working when a person was a hell of a lot younger. He went back to school as a vampire when he was forced to move away from his family. He had been strong enough to never return to his family sure he kept them at an arms length and watched for years but now he did not know if his lineage had even continued through the years and made it this far.

Gaze could not leave him, watching the pleasant way his mouth moved while he spoke, contributing to the conversation between them. That face and those eyes; they drew her to him. Yet, it was more that simply the outer appearance of the bloke which awoke the fatal's strange and sudden great interest. No, there was something deeper. It was as if there was a string attached to her innards that yanked everytime he spoke or moved away. Difficult as it was to get used to, she found herself not resenting the connection and rather enjoying it. Perhaps, had her parents not neglected her after she was Choosen and had her tribe treated her as one among their large family, the essa would be warry of such a attachment to the man before her who was nearly a complete stranger. Naiveté reined supreme, however and not even the thoughts that suddenly came to mind in relation to her guest managed to raise any alarm within her. Convienced as she was of not only her own fondness of him, but also of his partiality towards her, the young woman found herself growing bolder, no longer hiding behind the shyness which had only been a brief mask. Without allowing reason into the equation, the lass moved to sit beside him, one leg tucked beneath the other in a semi-comfortable position, both hands braced against the couch on either side of her hips. Is my blood tempting? Vocals ask, chin unknowingly tilted slightly upwards so as to expose part of her slender neck, long, straight hair swung over one shoulder, leaving the other bare. The question would certainly be one the male could balk at, but this did not occur to her as she remained there, waiting paitently with emerald depths locked onto Dario's somehow strikingly human seeming pair. One could never tell by looking at him what he was: an advantage for some and a disadvantage for others. Crown shook, showing him that she did not want to have him prove what he spoke to her. She believed all that he said without doubt. After all, what reason would he have to lie to her? Escpecially about his own past, which, he had only allowed her a glimpse into. Bri was hungry for more. Much more. Never before had she felt this sort of away about another being. None had been able to capture her attention for very long. Some how, the essa felt as if even if the baron did not speak, did not answer her questions, or even avoided her company, still she would waste all avalible energy on him. She was tettering on the edge of obsession, not knowing the limits others would have automatically placed in the way to stop such a dangerous trek. Youth and inexperience blinded her, made her a slave to instict and ambition. The Guardian could not save her from making any mistakes that came after now. Whatever happened, would instruct the vixen in the ways of the world to which she was blind, something not even the wise creature of teeth, claws and fur could teach. Human thoughts and feelings complicated life, made it hard for a shifter to grasp who they really were. Some ended up battling for control with their other half, others submitting to it, and still others living in harmony with both beast and mortal. No matter which way the person choose to deal with their particular condition, they always had to find the happy medium between carnal impluses and more complex emotions. This, was one thing Bricaza had yet to comprehend, hormones of both halves running rampant around in her body as they might a teenager. To sheltered was she from living! Now, it was too late. Her sights were set and poor Dario lay at the crest of the mountain she would climb.

She seemed to be growing bolder by the moment. She no longer hovered on the other end of the couch shooting questions in his direction. She moved closer looking comfortable as she tucked a foot beneath her frame and stared in his direction. Somehow he knew of the question long before it left her lips. Interest was captivated in the girl especially as she shifted to expose the underside of her neck, where she must know the blood flowed the most freely. Of course he knew of this yet he had so much more control then many of the younger vampires and it got easier and easier for him every single day that he walked the planet. She asked him if her blood appealed to him. There was no way around this question and she already knew the answer. I think you already know the answer to that question. He stated and with a brash movement he was brought nearer to her. She might turn and run the opposite way, this was a risk that seemed to be willing to take. Instead of what she might think was happening lips brushed gently against the underside of her jaw line, where she had exposed to him. A true testament of the trust that she held within her. He regretted it almost the moment that it happened since it was all too soon though it had seemed like the perfect moment. He stood from the couch. I am sorry.. He stated a little restlessly. Knowing that her alarms would be going off in her head and that her reaction would be to push him away. An older vampire and yet he was still not able to control his hormones? What was going on with him? No one made him this way since he prided himself so highly on his self control. What was he thinking, she was not one to mess around with. Though if she allowed herself to think about it thoroughly the gentleness and tenderness of the action was not mirrored by someone made out to be a monster by the greater majority of people. Perfect control had been maintained since she was right her blood appealed to her with so much force he was not too sure what to think of it. How did she already mean a lot to him and yet it had been so short of a time, why did he even care what she thought of the actions. The impulses had been much too much to handle so in some ways with her provacative gestures she had been partly to blame.

Nostrils widened and breath quickened at the male's reply for she did indeed know the answer. But, no time was given for any sort of further thought to enter the damsel's mind because within an instant, Dario was pressed against her, the soft lips which pressed to her jawline causing body to quiver with excitement and shock, eyes shutting briefly at the pleasure of his touch. Heartbeat grew in strength, pressure in veins rising as the sound of her own blood pumping rose to deafening heights within her ears. There were suddenly so many sensations to comprehend, it felt as if fireworks were going off inside of her. All of these feelings combined escalated to the point where they were nearly unbareable, but the essa craved them; yearned for them like a druggie did his or her next fix. Never would she think of pulling away and instead leaned closer, wanting more than what he had given. She desired his hands to be on her body, holding her tightly to his stone like figure as if there were no chance of letting her loose. Too suddenly, the contact ended and he pulled away, standing in an attempt to put some distance between them. Bright emerald orbs fluttered into view as the man's apology called the attention of the vixen to him, innocent look shining up at him as lids blinked over depths. Bri knew all of the reasons why he should be sorry, why she should be sorry, and yet, cared nothing for these trifles. The need she felt for him, for a companion, was too great for any one touch or fleeting kiss to satisfy. Like an adolesant, she naievely ignored the obvious fact that he would not be staying. Constant travel was apart of his life although it was not a requirement of hers. She also pretended to be ignorant of her inexperince with men. As all women in her position, she thought perhaps she had found love and persued the prospect without checking herself, not understanding that one's attachment could be greater than anothers. Feeling rather awkward, but determined, the damsel rose from where she sat, moving till her figure was almost touching his, breath hot as it flowed forth from nostrils in a nervous way. Don't be sorry. Pools lifted to meet his then, hand lifting from where it hung at her side and resting then on his chest, expression completely trusting while she waited for his next move. Indeed, she knew what she wanted, but his longings were unknown to her and she therefore allowed the decision to rest with him, accepting whatever came next, no matter the emotions attached to both scenarios.

Some things you can not erase no matter how hard you try. The resentment he felt to the female gender was one of those things due to the scars that they had inflicted deep within his cold organ. His track record was not outstanding. First there had been the human girl he had been in love with back before he was even turned to a vampire and he was forced to give her up and move away from all that he had ever known. After that there came Caprice who was nothing but a manipulative tools used to try to take him down when he had gained too much power, then there was Axel which was an arranged marriage though in the end before her death he had grown to love her as well. Before Victor, her father and coincidently Caprice's new lover had killed his daughter. After that though came the most recent in his history. Harlen, a stark comparison to Bri. She was pale with dark locks and azure eyes and had travelled the world easily as much as he had and her past was as sketchy as his own, then there was Bri who did not even compare to them she held her own level. The innocence of the girl was impeccable. He could not help but feel overwhelmed why his feelings were so strong for the girl that he felt like he barely knew he did not have a clue though he was not too sure if it was a bad thing. She told him to not be sorry and took a step off the couch and her warm body was pressed up against his and he flinched the overwhelming feeling of desire washing over him. She was too innocent to be like this though, the horrors he had seen were too much for the tender girls mind, she deserved someone better then him, he was selfish to think she would want him, it was purely physical attraction he was a vampire so therefore it was nothing but the hunting mechanism drawing her to him. Of course he could not say the same about his feelings since he was caught under the girls spell for real. It was all so soon though it was only in the winter when Harlen had disappeared. He thought he had been over her but she was the real reason why he had moved away from Hitari and yet somehow when he was with Bri Harlen never crossed her mind and the exotic girl before him was the only one that was on his mind. Her hand was pressed on his chest and his breath caught in her throat and muscles became tense to the touch. Digits moved from the place where they had remained at his side to trace a gentle line across her cheek bone, tender expression portrayed in azure optics as they met hers. Tender gesture caused lips to be brought to her level and reach her cheek in a soft kiss. I must be going Bri, before something happens that we both are going to regret. Can I see you tomorrow? He stated. He had a lot of thinking to do.
