Arm lifted and a dismissive flick of his wrist came as a reply to her thanks, dome shaking as gaze breaks away from hers. Don't menchon it. I haven't done anything that any decent person wouldn't have. Liquids flicker to the beast as he shifts, obviously impaitent with his rider for forcing him to stand still for so long. Mentally kicking himself, the male was instantly reminded of what time it had been upon his phone when he had glanced at it. Foolish, Erixic. Very foolish. Thoughts chastise while pools look to the earth, crown shaking slightly once more. It was selfish of him to have only thought of himself and Ayrn when considering the amount of time elapsed without even bothering to begin to wonder about Katy or her horse. I apologize. I've kept you quite long enough here. I'll let you get back to riding. Remember you can call me whenever. Even if it is really late or really early in the morning. I get up on my own terms usually.

Katy|Katy mounted the Stallion once more, putting her riding hat on once again. Shuffling in the saddle, and holding the reins, her gaze turned to Erixic. "Thank you." she said, with a smile, patting the Stallion's neck with one hand before returning it to the reins. Apache shuffled, eager to get back home. "I better get going, he wants to go back." she said, glancing at Erix again before nudging Apache's sides. The stallion began walking energetically back along the dirpath to Katy's house. She looked back once, and smiled, taking one hand from the reins and waving before returning it. Once back, she untacked the Equine and kept the tack back in the tackroom, turning Apache out in the field before going inside and getting changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a hoodie. She sat inside for most of the day, before deciding she was bored. Sighing, she ran her hand through her hair, she got her cell phone out of her pocket and went through her contacts, and dialling Erix's number, hesitating a little before doing so.
Crown bobbed, a action that said he understood. Stepping back, the male watched as she gathered her reins and urged her horse forward, moving at a brisk walk away from him and the park. As she lifted her hand to wave, he did also, returning the smile and remaining where he stood until the horse's body disappeared completely from his sight. Turning, he picked up the speed of a jog again, continueing on his way around the park before returning to his truck, refreshed from the run, but glad it was over. He turned the key in the ignition and the truck revved to life, bringing a smile to features before the switched gears to reverse to back out of the parking spot. Thankfully, it was still pretty early in the morning so there were no usual stupid slow drivers on the road home to piss him off. Pulling into his garage, the engine died as the key was turned backwards, body climbing out of the cab once the door was opened. Upon walking into the house, Erixic was attacked by their new puppy Cairo, her entire body wiggling from the effort of wagging her tail so hard. Chuckling, the man bent over and picked her up, carrying her with him up the stairs and to his bedroom before setting her down to take a shower. Ayrn was gone that day, hanging out with Damien so he had the house all to himself. Changing into a pair of boxers and sweatpants, he lazied around on the couch, eating Lays potato chips out of a bag while watching baseball with the dog. It amused him that everytime a batter was up, Cairo felt the need to stand up from her laying position on the couch and bark at the TV. The game had just ended when his phone rang. Frowning slightly, he leaned over the puppy, arm completely outstreched to reach the phone which sat on the end table at the opposite end of the couch. Hello? He asked quickly upon answering it, letting out a heavy breath as he repositioned himself on the couch without noticing who the caller ID said had called.
Katy|Sitting on the couch, with the phone in her hand, she spoke once he had answered. "Um hi, it's Katy.." she said down the phone. She listened for his response before speaking once more. "Well if you're not too busy, I was wandering if you'd like to go for a coffee or something?" she asked, bot expecting him to agree and go, but it was worth a ask. She figured she quite liked his company although they had only just met that day and that they hardly knew eachother. Getting up from the couch, still listening to his response, she headed outside, remebering that she had left the stallion's headcollar and leadrope by the field and she always took them in. It was alright, there was enough signal on her cell phone, so she put on her shoes and headed outside. She walked down the yard and out to the field, she walked to the gate. Apache was grazing in the far end. She grabbed the headcollar and leadrope, and walked back to the yard. She placed the headcollar and leadrope on the hook outside Apache's stall before walking past the garage where her old silver sports car was parked. She'd only just had her license a few weeks ago and the car had been her dad's old one, from when she was 12, but it was still in perfect condition. She walked back inside the house and closed the door, sitting down once more on the couch.

The moment the essa spoke, the male recongized who it was. A smile broke out across features, glad that she had taken him by his word and called. She sounded a bit nervious as she spoke, which almost made him laugh aloud, but he managed to contain the sound a moment before it was released, coughing to cover the close outbreak. It would not be proper to laugh for seemingly no reason and it would simply be rude to try to explain to her that he was chuckling at her anxiety. He had forgotten what it was like to be a teenager: uncertain of what to do while feeling a little awkward in the transition between childhood and adulthood. Hey Katy. Whats up? Lyrics reply after the bloke cleared his throat, back relaxing against the couch with one arm drapped across the high back. While he listened to her proposition, eyes glanced down at the dog who had now taken her gaze from the TV and was gazing up at him, her floppy ears perked, attention on the phone, obviously listening to the voice on the other end of the line. Cairo must have been expecting the tunes of her owner to reply to Erixic because upon realizing that the woman's voice coming from the cellular device was not that of her beloved Ayrn, the conversation lost all its glamour, the pup's head falling dejectedly to rest on the couch's cusions. Grinning down at the canine, he brought himself to answer, vision lifting from the dog to take in the entire living room. Sure, I'm not busy at all actually. Did you have a place in mind? Rising from his seated position, the male started towards the stairs, climbing them at an easy pace while he awaited the answer. If she did not know of a place already, the drake could always suggest the cafe around the corner, but he would allow her to speak first. As he came to the upstairs landing, he heard tiny paws hit the steps behind him, the trailing companion brining another smile to his face. Moving to his dresser, he pulled out a comfortable hunter green polo and a pair of faded jeans, tossing them onto the bed just as something hit him. Are you going to need me to pick you up or are you going to take your horse? Chuckles emit at his light hearted joke, weight shifting to one leg as he refered to a relaxed standing position till she spoke back.

Katy|She smiled slightly when he answered. "Nothing much, you?" she said down into the phone. She thought she would've been a little annoying, calling, but he had told her to, and so she did. She didn't want to interrupt too much on other people's lives, but on the other hand she was bored and she figured she kind of liked his company, even though they had only met that day. Her hand moved to run through her hair before answering. "Not really, no." she said, with no clue where to go, but she figured there was a nice little coffee café/shop right in the town, where she had been many times before, and it was quite nice there. She spoke again. "Actually, there's a nice one down the middle of town?" she questioned. Plus, she hadn't been there in a long time, either. She turned her glace to the blank television screen, there was nothing on that would interest her right now, so she didn't see the point of putting it on. She got up slowly and headed to the kitchen, she was thirsty. She got a glass out, and filled it with some water, and drank it. She smiled slightly when he spoke again and laughed slightly. "Taking my horse wouldn't be such a good idea." she said, smiling some.
Smiling, he listened to her uncertain answer without replying, knowing women too well to do so. Just as he expected, the next moment the lass was revising her answer, giving him a very broad location, although that really did not bother him. Mind instantly went on a virtural tour of the middle of town, remembering all the stores he had been too or passed by while occasionally in that part of the city. One cafe distinctly stuck out as it had great coffee and had served it at the perfect temperature. Ok. I think I know which one you are talking about. Assuming she ment the same place, he answered, waiting paitently for the answer to his second question, a smirk forming upon features as she laughed at his joke. No, I don't think so either. So it's settled? I'll come pick you up in about thirty minutes? I just need to get dressed and drive that way. I'll call you when I'm close. Weight shifted as he stood staring down at the bed, attention caught again by the puppy as it jumped from the floor, to the small wooden ledge where the box spring sat, and finally onto the matress, making her way across the lumpy surface to his pillow before turning in a circle and laying down. Frowning at her disapprovingly, the male snapped his fingers at her, catching her attention only long enough for her head to be raised at the sound before tail curled around rump and chin settled again upon his pillow. Cairo! Get off the pillow, dog! He hissed in an almost whisper, grumbling as she still ignored him.

Katy|She nodded some, even though she knew he wouldn't be able to see that she was nodding. She tended to do it when she was speaking to someone on the phone, she didn't know why, it had become a habit of hers over time. "Okay." she nodded, when he stated that he thought he knew which one she was on about. She smiled again and spoke. "Yeah, alright then." she said. She glanced outside, the once sunny day had seemed to changed into a dull day. The sky began to fill with clouds, it looked like it was going to rain soon. It took her a moment to remember if she had bought her horse in or not. Shaking her head at her confuzion, she moved from the lounge and upstairs to glance out the window and towards the field. Apache wasn't there, so she had bought him in. She didn't remember, it happened sometimes, she wasn't sure why.

Attention was forced away from the pup laying upon his clean pillow when the lass spoke again. However, eyes remained locked on the furry creature, his wolf rousing at the disreguard for his orders by the youth. Managing to push his other half far enough into the back of his mind so that he sounded civil, the man said his goodbye and hung up the phone, turning slowly as he placed it upon the night stand. Moving quickly, a low growl emitted as hand grabbed the young pointer by her scruff, orbs glowing as they flickered between the pair of a human and the pair of a wolf. Instantly, Cairo recongized her superior by dropping her gaze and tucking her tail, a small whimper escaping while Erixic continued to hold her. Eventually, the anger ebbed and he set her back on the bed, watching as her little body moved to curl on the end corner furthest from him. Shaking his head, the bloke began to change, pulling off his sweat pants and replacing them with the jeans before pulling the shirt over his head. The dog would forgive him later on, of this, he had no doubt. His actions would have been considered only natural in the outside world of lupine for it was simply a reprimand or a lesson, if you will. In the future, she certainly would not be caugth dead on his pillow would she? Moving downstairs, he sat on the edge of the couch to pull on his tennis shoes before rising and taking the truck's keys from the top of the refridgerator and heading out the door to the garage. Climbing into the cab, he put the key in the ignition and turned it, the engine jumping to life readily before the truck was put in reverse and he backed down the driveway. Hitting the garage door button, he watched as it closed before pulling off down the street. It did not take long for him to come close to the park and as he drove by, he called the girl, knowing that she lived closed by. Hey Katy. I'm moving past the park now. I shouldn't be much longer. He remained on the phone as he turned on a side street past the city's land and rolled slowly down the street till he was in front of a house with a rather generously sized barn. I think I'm here now. Pulling slowly into the driveway, the male shut the phone and put the truck into park, waiting to see if it was his friend's house or not.

Katy|She reached for the handle of her bedroom window, her phone in the other hand, held to her ear as he spoke. She closed the window and soon realised that it had begun to rain, but she figured there was worse to come. She sighed quietly. She headed out of her bedroom to close the other windows that were open. She nodded when he put the phone down, she put it in her pocket then proceeded to her room to change from the clothes she had used when riding Apache earlier that day. She put a clean pair of jeans on and a hoodie, then walked out of her room, closing the door behind her. Her phone rang and she picked it up. "Okay." she said and walked down the stairs then proceeded to look out of the window when he said he thought he had found her house. She saw his truck pull up the drive. "Yeah. I see you," she said, looking out the window, before he then hung up and she put put her phone back in her pocket. She walked to the door and opened it.
Although the male was almost totally certain of his accuracy of finding the lass' house, the property to which he drove up was, to say the least, very surprising. It was a very nice piece of land, complete with plenty of acreage and a large enough barn for the comfortable housing of more than a couple of horses. The house itself was what truely caught the man off guard as he was not very familiar with the care and comfort of equines, but knew a little of the housing market. As a rather large two story with a generous amount of square feet. It appeared to be all any family could want, however, it was almost too big for the man to imagine the teenage girl whom he had met just that afternoon living in alone. Almost immediatly after Erixic pulled up, droplets started to fall upon his windshield. At first, a few fell here and there, but the storm progressed rapidly and by the time he had hung up with Katy a steady rain was starting to pound upon the metal casing of his cab. Leaving the truck on, the male opened his door and hurried to the front of the house, coming beneath the protection of the maiden's home a moment before she opened the front door. Smiling in greeting, the shifter's posture straightened: shoulders which had been hunched over as he moved through the shower now pushed back and head erect where as seconds before it had been ducked. Good evening. Looks like I could not have picked a more awful time to come pick you up. We are probably lucky it is a week-night. Otherwise I would fully expect the coffee shope to be packed. Grinning still, he waited for her to lock the door to the house before following her out to his truck, opening the passenger side door so she could get in before running in front of the grill to the drivers side where he joined her in the comfortable cab. The black leather seats had built in seat warmers, this he showed her as he was backing back out of the driveway and heading towards the main road. It was nice to have all the comforts that the Harley-Davidson edition Ford F150 provided and despite the fact that the bloke had never owned a vehicle so well equipped before, he was certain he could never go back. For his enternal spoiled state, he could blame Ayrn. It did not take them long to arrive at the cafe and just as the man predicted, it was rather vacant for it being nearly five o-clock. Pulling into one of the front parking spots, Erix shut down the engine while undoing his seat belt, climbing out of the truck and hitting the lock button until it honked as she too got out. Allowing her to lead the way to the cafe, he of course opened the door for her to enter before following himself, shaking a few water droplets from his hair sort of like a dog would.

Katy|She did like her house, it was big and yeah, anything a family could want. But it was just her, and sometimes she did wish that her family were back with her. Well, just her mother and her sister. She hated her father after what he'd done, and now it was just her mother that was left, since he killed her sister. So even then it would just be herself and her mother. But she didn't know where they were. She didn't care about where her father was, not much about her mother either. She smiled when she saw him, walked out and closed the door, locking it. She followed him to the truck, getting in when he opened the door for her, then closed it. She put her belt on and smiled. Once they'd parked and arrived, she got out and walked to the cafe. Her hair was pretty wet by now after walking out in the rain, she walked in when he opened the door for her and ran her hand through her wet hair. "Yuck" she said, sighing.
Gaze shifted to look at her as the quiet exclamation was heard, the man unable to withhold his laughter as he noticed what she was sighing over. I know the feeling. Vocals mumbled as pupils shifted upwards, vision just barely including the water darkened clumps of his blonde hair as they hung over his forehead. I could really use a haircut. He thought to himself while hand lifted to tug on one section of gathered strands before attention turned to the ordering counter and the sign listing what the cafe serves that hung on the wall behind the attendant, arm falling back to his side. Approaching the ordering station, Erixic placed himself off to the side, eyes still on the menu while hand motioned at the girl for her to go ahead of him. Funny, the bloke had remembered only that the establishment had offered a wide selection of coffee, the fact that they also served sandwhiches, soups, salads and cakes had completely escaped him. His bottomless pit of a stomach convulsed, making a soft growling sound that only he could hear. Sighing, he shifted till he was in front of the cash register once the lass had placed her order and got the large coffee, black, and a club sandwhich, deciding it was best to indulge his hunger rather than go without even though he had eaten a rather large, late lunch. After the worker took their order, Erix supplied the needed amount in cash and upon taking his change, smiled back at his companion and moved to a table by a window so they could watch the rain. Although she had instigated the meeting and it was by no means a date, the baron felt as if he should still pay simply because she was a friend and it had felt like the natural thing to do. Turning his head till facade as facing the window, he watched as the droplets fell from the sky onto pavement, cars, people, umbrellas and one bicyclist who had not watched the weather report before heading out. The last made his smile broader, heightening his enjoyment of the outdoor condition by offering some ridiculing amusement. In general, the shifter enjoyed the rain; the scent, the sound: all of it seemed to draw him in like a awestruck admirer. Even now, inside the building, he could hear and smell the angel's tears. Calling him from the trance, the man at the counter called out their order and he moved instantly to pick it up, balancing his cup of coffee on the plastic container while holding what she ordered in his other hand. He placed it in front of her and slid back into his seat, taking a sip of the coffee before speaking. So, do you like the rain?

Katy|She looked over to him and smiled when he laughed. It was pretty annoying, the fact that her hair would feel horrible after the rain. It actually did bother her, and she showed it. She ran her hand through her hair again before sighing quietly and leaving it. She placed her order of nothing but a coffee, which was what she had been intending to order all along. Although she knew there were a variety of foods also sold there, she had eaten around an hour before she had come out and she wasn't hungry. Once she was done, she stepped back from the counter and looked over to Erix. She smiled at him, and moved with him to the table near the window, "thanks." she said, about him paying for her order. She sat down and glanced out of the window. The truth was, she liked watching the rain from the inside, but when she was actually out in it, totally different story. It somehow made her feel relaxed while just watching it. When she was out, she wanted to get away from it as soon as she could really. She looked to him once he got up to get their order. She smiled when he got back, taking her coffee and sipping from it, then putting it down. "it's alright I suppose." she said. "I like watching it, but out in it, I hate it."
Crown bobbed, grin fluttering upon lips as eyes remained upon her for a moment before venturing towards the window once more, cup's edge lifting to his lips again as the heated liquid rolled down his throat. That seems to be how most feel about it. Maybe it's just the child in me, but I enjoy being out in the rain occasionally. Glancing at her, the male laughed a bit at himself while figure shifted in his seat, butt sliding back to rest against the back of the chair, setting the cup down on the table top so hands were free to open the sandwhich box. With forearms resting against the edge, he leaned over slightly and took a few bites out of the snack, pausing every once in a while to take a sip of his coffee. He was not thinking of running out in the pouring storm tonight, of course, at least, not while the lass kept his company. Later, at his own home when no mortal would be the wiser, perhaps he would take a late run in the forest, embracing the creature hidden within as he did so. No subject of conversation came to mind while he ate, the silence beginning to settle over them creating an awkward sort of tension and he wished she would say anything, ask something. She seemed to be a bit of a stand-offish person, perhaps because she was shy. The reasoning for the behavior, Erix was unsure of, but he hoped she would feel comfortable enough around him to be herself. He was not a judgmental person and tried his best to remain a neutral party until getting to know a person and she had been friendly enough in the park that he had been willing to try and further the aquaintance.

Katy|Another reason why she hated the rain was because of the fuss Apache made out of it. Well, wasn't a fuss, more of a show. He was worse when there were storms, and she was pretty sure this would all end up being a storm towards the late night, or even the early hours of the morning. He'd always whinny, bang the stall door when there was a storm, then she'd end up being waken up by him. She had tried alot of things to just ignore, but she couldn't ignore him, not after what had happened once. She didn't take any notice of him, and it was one of the first times the horse had seen a storm after living in a hot place until Katy had bought him, and so he had a craze in his stall, and hurt his leg. Thankfully, he got it fixed and now she just couldn't ignore him. She glanced out of the window again, watching as the rain droplets fell and bounced slightly off the ground. She took a sip from her coffee before putting it down again. Her thoughts wandered back to the day when she actually did like being out in the rain, with her sister. Those days were the best, in her mind. Taylor and herself were like best friends, so close. Then her dad had to go and ruin it all. Out one day, riding in the woods on her own, she came back and Taylor was dead, her mum and dad arguing, she went out again, not believing what she had seen, in tears. She came back, they were all gone. She didn't know where they had disappeared to, and that wasn't the last she had heard from her dad. She shook the thought out of her head and looked to Erix once again. "Sorry, I was just thinking about something.." she said, then remembering how her dad had left a message on the phone saying - "What you saw today, you need to forget about. Don't tell anyone. If I find out that you have...." and that was all. So, stupidly enough she didn't tell anyone, and still hasn't to this day. She wished she had now though, while the police could still get her dad, not while he was somewhere far away, and her being not even sure if he was still alive. She eventually did stop thinking about it, and glanced to Erix again.

Without noticing the emptiness of his companion's eyes, the man settled into the silence, eating his sandwich and watching the rain through the window beside their table. It was not until he finished the food and turned to take a sip of his coffee that he noticed Katy was not entirely in the cafe anymore, her blank facade making it clear that her thoughts were in another place and another time. I wonder what is on her mind. A thoughtful expression crossed features then, head tilted at the essa when, as if on cue, she regained conciousness and looked towards him, apologizing for her slight distraction. Understanding smile creased features, elbows lifting to rest upon the table, one hand folding over the other as they made a large fist together. No problem. You are free to think. No need to apologize to me for it. Lips lifted in his signature crooked smile, eyes intent upon her as if they could read what she was thinking. Of course, the male had no such ability, but at times he wished he did. The girl was a mystery. It was obvious there was something hidden within her, something she refused to show any one else. Why, he did not know, but from experience, he knew that sooner or later, secrets came out. He just hoped that when that time came for Katy, she would not be injured by her own illusion. Gaze left hers and arms fell from the table, hands resting upon his thighs as spine leaned back to rest against the chair, mercury liquids watching the other customers as they can in the store to escape the pelting tears of the sky, ignorant of the beauty he recongized to be there.

Katy|She smiled at him before going back into her thoughts slightly. She was debating on whether to tell him or not. She had only met him that day, he seemed nice. She felt like she could trust in him not to tell anyone if she were to tell him. She still wasn't sure though. She knew her secret would eventually come out one day, and he would find out. She wouldn't mind, as long as he didn't tell anyone about it. She had kept it a secret for so long. Four years. She didn't want to go out, telling it to someone, then finding out it had spread around the town. Whenever she was out, people asked her, how her parents and sister were, she just said they were fine, and they always replied "I haven't seen them in a long time" and then she just makes it up, but obviously tells everyone the same made up story. She glanced around, and saw one of her father's old friends walk in. She turned her head, but was too late. He walked to them. She took a sip out of her coffee. "Hello, Katy." the man said, looking to her. Katy turned to look at him, "Hi." she said. "Everyone doing fine at home?" he asked, curiously. Katy just nodded, "Yeah, yes they are." she said, in a slightly unsure tone. The man nodded. "Good." he said nodding, giving a slight smile before walking away. She watched him walk away, and ran her hand through her hair. She glanced out the window, the streets were still busy even though it was pouring it down with rain. After a few moments, she heard the loud rumble of thunder. She glanced back to Erix and smiled. "But I do like the thunder." she said. It was true, for some reason, she hated the rain, but loved the thunder. It was odd, but there you go.

Ignorant of what was going on in his companions mind, the bloke took another drink from his coffee mug, people watching as was a popular past time for anyone who found themselves bored. A person could really see what a stranger was really like just watching the interact with others. It was amazing to him how rude some people were to others they did not even know. One man and his wife were standing at the counter, demanding for the worker to redo their coffee for the fourth time. From where he sat, he had heard the entire conversation, due to his advanced hearing. Teeth ground together, his irritation at the couple mounting with each passing second. Grip upon the cup tightened, squeezing it from its styrofoam circular mold to more of an oval shape. Someone had better shut them up soon or Erixic was going to loose it. Thankfully for him, the manager saw what was happening finally and came over to assess the situation. After listening to the complaints rude and rather loudly protesting pair of customers, the man turned to his employee and assured her that he would take care of it. The next moment, the duo were pushing past others waiting in line, swearing to tell everyone they know how horrible of a place the cafe was as they left after the manager asked them to. The atmosphere indoors instantly relaxed, people going back to conversing in a friendly way. With that distraction gone now, the drake turned back to look at the girl across the table from him, a calm smile on features as the tension seeped out of his muscles. From the corner of his eye, Erix saw a man he did not recongize coming towards their table. Instinct took over, body stiffening while hands freed themselves from any sort of occupation, ready to be put into play if need be. No threat was exhibited by the stranger however as he exchanged some familiar hellos and nice words with Katy. After he walked away, inquisiting orbs turned to look at the fea, eyebrow cocked in a mixture of interst and amusement. Family friend? He asked first, pausing for a short while in order to give her a chance to answer before continuing. I guess not many people know your family left you?

Katy|She did get quite annoyed at the fact how people were so rude towards others, even if they didn't know them. But all she heard as the couple were complaining was voices, obviously mad, annoyed. She couldn't hear the whole conversation, but it was probably enough to irritate anyone by just what she heard. She then looked to Erix again and nodded slightly. "More of my Dad's friend." she said, nodding slightly. "No.." she said, pausing for a moment. The truth was, nobody knew. Just herself and well obviously her mother, father and now Erix. Maybe if her father hadn't have murdered Taylor, things would still be the same, she'd still be home with her family. "Only you know." she said, biting her lip slightly.
Brow lifted at her answer, expression unreadable as the male's eyes narrowed slightly, trying to get a read off the lass. She seemed like a nice girl, but definately was someone with a secret to keep hidden and not just from him, but from the rest of the world. The fact that not even friends of her family knew about the absence of her parents told him that they had left under stressful terms, although, the bloke had already guessed that for who in their right mind left a teenager alone to fend for themselves and a horse? It was simply not right, granted, he had been alone at the gae of sixteen, but that was different. Running away had been a personal choice he had made long ago and now was one he regretted. Having never finished high school, so many opportunities, so many jobs that he might have acceled at, were closed off to him now. Not to mention he now had to deal with reconciling with his parents. The task was difficult and awkward no matter how gentle and nice people his parents were. Loosing a child because he ran away and then having him suddenly want to be in your life again had to be hard for his parents to swallow, even though they said nothing about it and actually had not brought up the subject to him at all. Her words informing him that only he knew about her parents disappearance drew him back to the moment at hand and brought a small frown onto features. You have only known me a few hours, but you've told me more than people you have known perhaps your entire life? Why did you tell me and keep it from them? Interested look was directed at her, the man leaning forwards despite his want to make her feel as unpressured as possible. The subject intrigued him and now that it was brought up, he wondered how far he could investigate into the matter without her freaking on him.

Katy|She sighed quietly. She knew it was going to come out eventually, and it was probably best that she just said. She looked over to him once again. She knew that if her friends knew, they would most definitely tell everyone though could, friends or not. She really didn't want that at all. Not only they didn't know about them just leaving her, but they just didn't know about her sister's death. Her parents probably thought they could escape it all by just leaving her on her own with some money enough to last a few years, but they didn't think what it would do to Katy, everything was still there for her. She couldn't just get rid if it out of her mind. It was permanent. There forever. "They would tell everyone. Then everyone would be nagging me for the reason why." she said at first, as calm as she could. "I told you because at first it seemed that you wouldn't tell anyone. But I won't be so sure when you find out the true reason." she said with a sigh. She wasn't sure how she was going to retell this without dwelling too much in the past.
And why is it bad that they ask you why your parents left? He asked before she could get the rest of what she was trying to say out, his curious facade intent upon hers. Something shifted within him at the girl's doubt of his ability to keep whatever it was she did not want out in the open quiet, a silent determination flooding into his veins to intensify his stubborn nature. Whether he would regret it later or not, then and there for bloke made the decision to not tell a soul any confession Katy made to him. As a friend, he could not betray her trust in such a way. Moving to rest with his back against the chair, gaze roamed around the cafe, watching as people walked past their table in almost what could be considered a constant pattern: moving to their pick a seat before going back up to the counter to get their orders and finally returning to their chairs to eat, drink, and converse with whomever would listen. The place was much too crowded for the lass to unveil such sensitive information to him if that was her plan. Glancing back over at her, the drake took another drink from his cup, trying to seem casual without the strange excitement that was building inside of him. Weren't only teenage girls supposed to feel this way whenever they were about to learn secrets? Are you done here? Tunes escape in a collected way while the man glances out the window to check on the weather conditions. The rain seems to have dissipated a bit for now if you wanted to go. He suggested, turning to look at her again, arm lifting to rest upon the back of his chair in a relaxed manner. Erixic left it open for her to decide what they would do. If she wanted to tell him whatever it was weighing her down about her parents, now would be the chance to take the opportunity, but if she wanted to remain silent on the subject, he would take her rejection of his invitation as a sign to let it drop.
