Dris()Muscles were braced for impact just as the fatal came within a foot of the duke, shoulder turning towards hip where she planned upon hitting him at so as to avoid any possibility of damage being dealt to either beast. As soon as her force was transferred to him, haunches dropped to the earth, claws digging into the dirt as the essa slid to a stop, not about to fall into the liquid for the second time that day. Momentum came to a screeching halt and after having gained back her balance, the fea straightened her stance and allowed plume to wave smugfully behind her, broad grin plastered upon features while she waited for her mate to breech the surface of the water. Amused chuckles come in reply to his first statement as roan crown exits the river and is shaken to rid lids and surrounding areas of droplets. Ah, indeed you should have my love. What kind of mate would I be if I didn’t invoke my revenge? Teasing tunes asked him, dome snaking forward towards the bank, waiting for the male to stride out of the substance. Tiara was lifted high again once he did so and a suspicious look cast his way at the pouting expression worn upon Niravadhi's mask. Eyes roll at his comment, the action causing a delayed alert system that told her of the other's advance. A quick bark of surprise escaped and figure flinched backwards, the wetness of her lover soon rubbing against ebony pelt and causing it to lose its luster. Neck twists so that orbs can get a good view of the disturbance and an accusing look is sent towards the baron, it now becoming the lady's turn to pout at her companions actions. I am not expected to be nice, while you, however, my Niravadhi, are. Look what you have done now. My poor coat is flat. Whatever shall I do with you? Playful vocals jested in a slightly serious manner, the damsel following suit and shaking out her mostly dry pelt just as the bloke did so to his own. Thoughtful visionage turns smoky liquids to the sky at his question, hips swaggering dramatically while limbs carried the maiden towards him, a large display being given as if this was a particularly hard question to answer. Hmmm. Cords vibrated, formation swinging as Dris ducks beneath his chin, pressing first her snout, then her skull and eventually neck and spine to her partner's jaw bone, feeling very much like a cat that rubbed against something absolutely delightful. Your spot back at their camp is comfortable, although it would be nice to have some privacy. I don’t much like strangers being around me as I sleep. It's really up to you, dear. I have no personal preference in the matter tonight. Frankly, the vixen was rather tired after the long run they both endured today, so it really mattered naught to her where they spent the night as long as it was beside each other and soon.

Niravadhi::Brow creases slightly at the lass' reply, before I answer her question. You'd be a normal mate, if you didn't invoke your revenge my dear. But since neither of us wishes to be part of normality, I guess that was fair play. Tunes are light, before I proceed to carry out my previous plan of making the maiden share part of my misfortune. Flanks shudder as my mirth tumbles out from between parted jaws. Gradually, I get a hold of my laughter, only to burst out in hearty chuckles at the lady's next actions and tones. Rump is lowered to the ground as facade remains fixed upon the duchess, harks focused upon the onyx being before me. A light snort is emitted at the maiden's words, although there was no doubt in the truth of her words. Brow creases in thought as I pretend to ponder the wench's words. That is a good question my dear. I would say nothing. But since you are supposed to be un-nice, I am sure you will come up with a nice list of un-nice things to do with me. I quip, smirking at my mate, before haunches are raised from the ground once more, as pistons move into action, bringing me closer to the lass. Plume runs along her freshly fluffed-up coat as I walk around her before returning back to my position, an expectant expression on my features indicating that I was still awaiting the reply to my question on sleeping arrangements. Orbs narrow in suspicion at the maiden's antics, before a reluctant grin at her antics paints itself upon my features. As the dame rubs herself against my chest, I lean closer, vocal chords vibrating quietly. Muzzle runs through the wisps at the lass' nape, as I mull over her words. She must be fairly tired, considering that she wouldn't really have minded sleeping with the pack so early after her introduction. Maw is opened to let my choice on the matter be heard, but a large yawn beats the words to it. I guess that settles the matter then I say lightly, smiling at the lass, as I drew back slightly so we could stand side by side. We'll spend the night somewhere near by. I pause, intellect running through the countless images of the land I had mapped out. There should be a hollow within a ring of dense pines not to far south-east from here. I say after a moment of sifting through the images. A last smile is sent in the maiden's direction, before pillars are set into motion once more. As I moved forwards, I experienced no complaints from my muscles, concluding that all cells had been revived with oxygen, and the dousing of cold water had had little effect upon my body. Strides remain smooth and elastic, being not wanting to break into a faster gait, for the slower pace in the rapidly darkening twilight was soothing and comforting. We were underway for little more than quarter of an hour, before I turned sharply to the left, heading towards a dense clump of small firs. Pressing my bodice close to the ground, I slithered my way beneath the lower branches, coming to rest in a slight dip hat was. Nares scan the area for signs of habitation, but the only scent of life, was a stale whiff of fox, certainly a couple of months old. This should do us fine I state, simultaneously allowing leggings to crumble beneath me. Back is rested against the bank of the other side of the hollow, while limbs and mittens are neatly tucked beside by structure. Sapphires watch a shadow follow suit, before muzzle stretches forwards to run gently along Dris' cheek. Ribbon wanders out of its den to brush across the maiden's brow, before moist tip is pressed briefly against the other.

Dris()Bell like laughter emits from the essa's cavern, an amused look painted across coal features while muzzle is tossed towards the sky, silver orbs sparkling at her companion. Tip of snout nuzzles roan nape affectionately while the dame keeps her position, neck having to twist over spine to carry out the action. But dear, how can my list be nice if I am not? It will be a mischievous list just for you. Tunes tease him, giggles escaping maw once again as she did so. Smile spreads across mask at his hums of pleasure, brow cocking slightly at the next words that exit his cavern. Grin grows wider at his decision, figure moving out from beneath his chin and moving to stand at his side, tiara rubbing forcefully against the solid shoulder of the drake. In truth, the vixen was glad for this outcome for even if she was fine with sleeping near to the rest of the pack, it was not the preferred situation. They were still young mates, hardly knowing one another for more than a few days and time alone together was still valued. Strides start out instantly as soon as it looked like Nira was about to move, allowing the oddly matched pair to be in stride with one another. Pace was simple and relaxing, the Evil Angel settling into a calm rhythm almost immediately. Heck, she could even close her eyes and still manage to remain even with her partner and upon the path. Glance was sneaked at the baron at this idea, making sure he was not watching her before turning attention back to what was in front of her and allowing shades to close over smoky pools. His scent remained close, a sign that they were continuing in a straight line and footfalls landed just as his did, drawing a smile onto ebony features. See? She knew she could do it. Next, the challenge became to see how long she could remain in her sightless state without either the male beside her noticing or running into anything. It lasted a good part of the time, but when the aroma of Niravadhi simply vanished from her side, and then Dris was forced to open her sockets and find where he had gone. Frame halted as they reached a patch of thick vegetation and brow cocked in entertainment while her lover's rump stuck high into the air and the rest of his carcass wiggled past the bushes. When it came her turn to do so, gaze was cast behind the essa, a low growl of warning to the other creatures of the forest to scare them from watching before joints folded and first torso then hips disappeared into the brush. Liquids roamed around the inner circle before they finally came to land on the drake, his deep vocals calling pair towards him. Steps take her towards his laying formation, skullary pushing towards him at the caresses he bestowed. Satisfied grin transforms guise and limbs fold gracefully, side pressing against his warmth while muzzle twists, trying to find a good position. Once it did, tape ran under his chin, blackened tip nuzzling the spot just below his lobe. I’m content. Lyrics muse gently, pitch low as lids close over lanterns, the night starting to get a grip upon the fatal's mind.

Niravadhi::Soft smile is sent in the lass’ direction as she took her place beside me, our strides matching perfectly when we sent off in search for our roost for the night. Having made my way into the hollow and rested my structure comfortably against the bank, I waited for my mate to join me. A moment of silence caused a spark of concern to ignite within my being, before a low warning growl and the rustling of undergrowth caused me to chuckle despite myself at the dove’s self-conscious action. Chuckles cease as ebonite frame is settled beside me, onyx flank pressing gently upon mine, transmitting the soft warmth that I had suddenly grown to appreciate. Vocal chords vibrate in pleasure at the lady’s ministrations, before her contented tunes reach my lobes. I’m glad to hear it I murmur in reply, nuzzling the duchess one final time, before dome is lowered to rest upon the raven back of my lover. Goodnight I mutter sleepily, curtains already falling across bleary orbs, allowing me to sink into the peaceful oblivion that was known as sleep. The state where mind and body could rest for the day’s toils, where wounds could heal, and frayed nerves mend. Lulled into the silent blackness by the sounds of my companion’s gentle and even breathing, I was soon no longer aware of my surroundings. Sometime in the early hours of morning, I started awake, dome lifting from its position on the lady’s back to scan the clearing, all sense alert. Yet nothing was out of the ordinary. The forest was quiet, save for the faintest fluttering sounds of a bat’s wings as he sought his prey. Shrugging mentally to myself for having awoken so forcefully, I was about to allow myself to settle back into the slumber I was been torn from. Yet something urged me to look skywards before I did so, sapphire orbs glancing upwards at the velvety canopy of night. In the course of the evening, clouds had blown in from the west, covering the stars that usually sent their meagre light towards our lands. For a moment I watched the path of a dark cloud, fascinated by the contours and the speed at which it travelled. Yet then the cloud had travelled sufficiently eastwards to uncover the object that it had hidden from my gaze. Pupils contract sharply, as the eerie glow of the full moon forced its way between the clouds, and seemed to land directly upon me. I lay rooted to the spot, orbs cast heavenward, unable to break from the spell that the moonlight had cast on me. I was no fool to believe it had been chance that had awoken me tonight, and kept my focus on the heavens. Nor was I foolish enough to forget the symbolism of the full moon. Slowly, I let my awareness wander, my gaze flickering around the clearing. Everything was dark, the moonlight only casting greater shadows at the foot of the foliage that hid the clearing from prying eyes. Unbidden, I turned to look down at the lass I had determined to spend the remainder of my days with. Yet instead of meeting the sight of darkness I had expected, the coal robe was brightly illuminated, as though it were about to catch on fire. Puzzled I looked upwards once more, to find that the moon had disappeared from view once more, a bank of clouds obscuring her from my view. Pupils dilate, as I look at the maiden once more, finally understanding the message I had been sent by my own angel that had never left my side, despite our parting. The last shreds of doubt dissipated, leaving a feeling of completeness that I had not known had existed. Ribbon runs gently across the raven nape before me, the touch feather light, before dome is rested upon my lady once more. Shutters hide the world from my view once more, as I drift back into the sleep that had held in ensnared only moments earlier. Yet before I lost track of all conscious thought, I sent my word of gratitude to the angel that had given her approval. Thank you Luna I thought numbly. For a timeless moment, I saw her in my mind’s eye. Her narrow silver frame leaping nimbly across a rocky creek, before she halted her gallop to look at me, the emerald orbs just as piercingly honest as they had always been. Her gaze was serious, before the corners of her mouth quirked upwards in a ghost of a smile, before she melted away before me. Somehow, deep within my being, I knew that tonight was the last night I would hold her memory so close. She had left me in the care of Dris, knowing that the dark lass that was so different from her in temperament would guard me well. Farewell my dear. Until we meet amongst the stars I thought heavily, grief at the loss of my greatest friend raging through my being. Yet as the tide of sorrow flowed away, I was left feeling at piece, the warmth from Dris’ flank working its way through my robe until it meandered through my veins and filled my heart with joy. Perhaps I had lost my kindred spirit, yet I had found the other half to my being. Everything had its price.

Dris()Smile pulls at the edges of maw, feeling the pressure of the male's muzzle though raven strands. Lids close over gray depths, dome drifting down towards the earth, chin eventually settling upon the other's padders while hazy words come to her lobes. Goodnight. Sleepily vocals reply, a yawn pulling open her cavern before the world of sleep seeps into mind and slowly begins to overtake it, the maiden going under within seconds.-------Shades lifted from pools, crown lifting quickly and a frown forming upon mask because the drake whom the lass had fallen asleep beside was gone with no trace of where he had gone was left. Tiara rotated upon neck, searching first this way then that for the roan cape of her lover. Limbs pushed coal bodice up from the earth, lines upon the lady's features deepening as still no sign of the duke showed itself. Suddenly, a howl from an unknown beast pierced the sky, drawing her attention away from the task at hand. Frame snuck underneath the bush again, lobes pricking instantly as whole being was now on the other side of the den, the sound of footsteps over the leaves nearing the damsel. Muscles tenses out of instinct, the huntress ready for battle if one was to come. Confused look came over guise while the moonlight shined down upon the ground a few yards ahead of her, its light nearly blinding the vixen. Slowly, its brilliance began to fade and the figure of another lupine is made out within its ray, dome tilting in curiosity at the newcomer. The stranger continued to approach, halting once they had reached within five feet of the Evil Angel, mossy depths looking onyx formation over as if evaluating who she was. For a moment, silence stretched between them, each fatal staring at one another as if daring the other to speak first. Then, the silver one spoke. So this is the Drisarsa I hear so much about. Scowl forms upon facade at the usage of her full name, a snarl threatening to escape jowls in displeasure. None call me by my full name except for my blood, madam. Bell like laughter comes from the other at this, enjoyment clearly flashing in pools. Ah, and do you consider the Gods to be blood, miss? At this, Dris is a bit taken aback, frown forming upon face while a moment was taken to reevaluate the other, steel orb sliding easily over mercury carcass. They sent you? Brow cocked in question, waiting for the reply as amusement flashes at her from the other's guise. No. I speak to you now on my own business, not theirs. And what business is this? Curious lyrics ask, crown tilting slightly while weight shifts slightly, hind propping in a relaxing manner. My business is the cobalt hued baron whom you sleep beside. It is important that he is safe and happy. Surprise flashes across features at this, interest growing at this dame. Whom are you? What relation do you have to Niravadhi? Chuckles escape like bells, the other still clearly enjoying herself. My, my. You are full of questions. My name, miss, is Luna and Nira was mine before you ever even drew from your mother's side. Surprise again comes onto coal mask, mind thinking back to when she had first met the bloke. Of course. This girl must have been the reason he was so distant and reluctant to be near her then. Smile pulls across black guise, liquids never flickering from the other's while the competitor within her rises to the top. And do you still claim him? Emerald eyes narrow in her direction, causing the slayer to chuckle. Apart of Nira shall always be mine, miss. It is best to accept this. Famous challenging grin then made the lass look more like herself. Oh? You must not be very close with the Gods then, madam. They would tell you I don’t share well. Yes, they had already warned me of your attitude, Drisarsa. Then silver dome turned skyward, the moon's rays once again starting to hide the other in their luminescence. Jade pools again turned to Dris, their light seeming to stare out of nothing but clouds now. It is now that I must return you to your world and I return to mine. I shall be watching you, Drisarsa. Take good care of my Niravadhi. Then, the light became too bright for the coal mistress to look at, lids shutting violently over iron pair to protect the sensitive surfaces. -------Dris woke with a start, body lurching unexpectantly and crown lifting instantly. A second of anxiety was allowed as she started to look for Niravadhi before the comforting presence of his heat against her side and chin upon her shoulder blades. Sigh escaped diaphragm while bodice relaxed, muzzle moving to nuzzle the brute upon his nape, tape flicking out to run over his lobe gently. You are mine now, Niravadhi. No matter our pasts.

Niravadhi::I slept a lot longer than I had anticipated the dream and the consequent flood of emotions probably draining me of much more energy that I had anticipated. Thus, it was that the late morning sun peeking through a bank of clouds caused me to rise from the depths of slumber, its bright rays peeking over the dense shrubs that hid my, and Dris’, existence from the world. The warm caress upon my façade caused a feeling of peaceful contentment to wash over me, sleep leaving me like the fog upon the Scottish moors as the sun burned away the water vapour. Even as I felt my mind greeting the new day, lids remain firmly closed, allowing my other senses to take in my surroundings. The cheerful chirping of a nearby sparrow, finally caused my curtains to draw back to reveal far-seeing cobalt depths. For a moment I am at a loss of where I was, orbs scanning the hollow. Then a much greater question suddenly forms within my mind, structure leaping off the ground as though stung. Chasse wheels about; voids scanning the entire glade feverishly for a flash of coal, yet nothing was revealed. Calm down. Relax. She won’t have left you. I say firmly to myself, forcing my breathing to steady. Careful steps are taken to where the lady had spent the night, mitten placed cautiously upon the earth. The crust was barely warm to the touch, indicating that the lass had awoken a fair time before me. Snout is lowered, nares flickering as I deciphered the various scents, the most obvious being the one I sought after most. Intellect grabs hold of the data passed along by my scenter, analysing the scent carefully, before conclusion is reached. Dris had awakened before me, and had left not all too long ago. Determined to find the onyx maiden I was bound to for the rest of my life, I followed the trail of her perfume. Reaching the shrubbery, I pressed myself against the earth, pushing my way through the tangle of needles and leaves, until I had made it out to the other side. Mittens knead the ground lightly, being enjoying the springy feel of the bed of needles, before the tell-tale aroma of my mate catches my attention, causing pillars to stride forward in the direction of the scent. I had barely rounded the corner, entering a shadowy nook of the forest, when I believed to see the outline of my mate hidden in the dark shroud cast by a large pine. Structure is dropped to a crouch, silent steps forwards being made towards me quarry, before my haunches bunched beneath me and I leapt forwards. Yet forepaws make no contact with the solid form I was anticipating, causing me to land heavily upon my forelegs, as I twisted around. Sapphires pierce through the gloom, trying to find the creature I had been seeking, whilst intellect scolds self for jumping at shadows. I was startled out of my thoughts at the sounds of heavy amusement coming from my left. Even as I spin around to face the source of the tones, harks prick forwards to catch the familiar tunes that danced forth from the darkness before me.

Dris()The maiden had been content, watching her mate from where her tiara lay upon the earth. The light of the sun had just barely begun to creep over the hills and despite the early hour, it was nearly impossible for the damsel to fall back into slumber. Her mind's rest was done and now it worked feverishly, never ceasing to have some strain of thought running throughout her brain. The dream had been a weird one. The kind of illusion that one believed only existed in their own little world, but the essa did not think such of this one. True, the setting had been of her own memories of the place, but someone had managed to infiltrate her sleep and impose their will upon the images of her imagination. By thinking such, it was clear to the dame that the fatal Luna had really existed at one time and had also staked a claim upon the roan brute. At this, an eerie rumbled went though her bodice. Just because the events of the past made perfect sense doesn’t mean they can’t still affect the beasts of the present in an ill manner. Competitive nature denied the fact that any could have ever have a hold upon Niravadhi like the Evil Angel had and, although this was true, the vixen leveled with herself when saying that the other lass had held a different kind of connection with the male. For each relationship is different, the events leading up to it making it so as they range from person to person. In the end, it didn’t matter who the baron had loved first or the most, his heat was pressing against Dris’ flank and not the others. Still, one question kept nagging the fea's inner thoughts constantly: who would be the one to share his warmth if this Luna still breathed the air of the mortal world? It could never really be answered really. Perhaps Nira would have an idea of whom he would have chosen, but the decision would be hard for him and the lady would not force such a difficulty upon her lover. Soft sigh escaped cage and figure moved out from under the weight of the duke's crown, making sure it rested gently upon the ground before turning about and wiggling beneath the brush once more. Part of the mistress had wanted to stay behind and wait for the drake to wake up and greet him properly for this morning, but the lass had ignored this in favor of leaving to maybe catch some breakfast that the pair could share. Once at the other side of the grotto, strides picked up a leisurely and almost silent trot, the onyx bodice disappearing into the shadows of the wood cast by the early morning blaze. Nostrils flared and the scent of many forest dwellers came to her, lids shutting briefly as each one was picked apart and assessed, the huntress finally decided that an unsuspecting raccoon would do. Sure, their meat was usually quite gamey and not very tender, if you caught it before any adrenaline could pump into its veins, then the meal was quite delicious. Formation crouched and shoulder blades began to roll visibly above the wench's spinal column. Knives were unsheathed, lips drawling back from the deadliest weapon in a lupine’s arsenal while muscles tensed for attack, steel pools locked upon her prey. Suddenly, the creatures head snaps off the ground and the predator halts her approach immediately, waiting for one breathless moment as the coon seemed to scope out the area using only his sense of hearing. Yes, raccoons posses very powerful vision, but in the early morning light of dawn of the darkening sky of sunset, their eyes were rendered practically useless due to the imbalance of light. As the black and white sprinkled head lowered back to the ground, the varg wasted no more time, carcass darting forward with dangerous speed and jaws closing quickly upon the coon's neck, napping the weak spine with just one simple shake of her dome. Satisfied grin came across triumphant facade. Ha! The animal hadn’t even detected her presence. The damsel trots over to a large pine nearby, placing her kill at the bottom and licking her chops clean when the sound of another advancing towards them caught her attention. Muzzle is lifted towards the sky and the aroma of her mate floated across the breeze to her, causing killing machine to turn into a loving smile. Then, Dris remembered her promise to invoke her "un-nice list of un-nice things" upon the baron and so she waited until he had rounded the bend, being certain that she was in the darker half of the shadow, before sinking behind the pine's coverage, watching with increasing amusement as the poor bloke started towards what he thought was her figure with intentions of pouncing upon her in mind. The bamboozled expression upon his mask when he realized he had jumped upon nothing but air was enough to make the madam burst into giggles, their volume and mass uncontrollable while limbs carry cage forth from her hiding place. Iron orbs sparkle with the merriment of her game while laughter continued to exit cavern, the vixen hardly at all fighting the urge. Oh my dear, you should have seen that from my point of view. What a sight you are Niravadhi! Vocals tell him, the laughter still emitting and the contessa allowing herself to fall over upon the ground, literally rolling with entertainment at his antics. Eventually, the maiden managed to contain herself enough to look up into the azure pools with a childish look upon guise, tongue dangling towards the ground as it hung out of the right side of her parted jowls, forepaws folded over as leggings relaxed naturally.

Niravadhi::Orbs narrow in a look of mock disapproval as I look down at the raven figure almost dying of laughter before me. Yet I could not find even the shred of irritation to direct at the lass, for I know that my actions had been rather silly. Harks flicker in an attempt to catch the words emitted, the laughter obscuring their meaning slightly. Dome simply tips to the side as shoulders shrug in answer to her statement, intellect not bothering on trying to find some form of reply. Soft smile pulls at kissers as the maiden finally gains control of looking up at me in a highly youthful manner. Two steps forwards are taken until I stand above the dove, before snout is lowered to one lobe. Good morning to you too, my dear. I murmur quietly, sapphires locking with ashen depths for a moment, before dome is pulled away. Stretching my limbs slightly, I watch the lady for a moment, smiling slightly at her antics. Lying on the ground with her tongue lolling out of the corner of her maw, no-one would ever believe that a beast that revelled in the blood loss of its prey was hidden beneath the innocent expression. Crown shakes before entire bodice follows, roan hairs lying flat against my narrow frame. Scanning the clearing, I catch the familiar scent of death, cobalts turning to meet mercury once more. I take it you caught breakfast. I state matter-of-factly, waiting for the huntress to pull herself upright once more. Daggers knead the ground slightly as my body is anxious to set off in motion once more. Especially after having slept so long, I felt energy coursing through my arteries, supplying each cell with the nutrition they needed. While I was not hungry as such, I knew that I should eat at least something, as should my companion. I tended to eat too little anyway, which certainly wasn’t such a great idea considering the amount of time I spent moving. Thus, mind is made up to follow the maiden. Whether she would share her prey with me or not was her decision, though I had come to believe that each of us would do everything in his power to make sure the other was content

Dris()Pair sparkling with mirth watched the duke as he moved to stand above her, cobalt depths staring down for a moment before roan dome lowered and hot breath was felt upon her armor, the softly spoken greeting bringing girlish giggles forth from the assassin's cavern. These actions surprised the essa as it came from one side of herself that she hadn't experienced since childhood. Strangely, she felt carefree, not caring that the beast of the forest and her own mate saw her in this very unusual state. Any rejection of the silly impulses were ignored and the smile allowed to play fuller upon her lips, snout suddenly jutting forward towards the drake as his crown pulled away from her hark. Ribbon ran along the cut of his chin, drawing slowly along the line before flicking in a jerky motion over the black, wet tip of muzzle, muscles relaxing and spine settling along the ground once more as a cheeky look is turned upward at him. Silver stare continues to be locked upon the salt and pepper sprinkled bodice as it moves away from the lady's carcass. A comfortable silence enters into the atmosphere while formation rolled over to its side, the lass still lying heavily upon the earth with tongue dangling out of jowls. She watched as strands upon the other's figure were sent twisting and jerking in the air, dust floating down from his cage to settle back upon the sod where it had originally laid. Amused smirk flashed in the lord's direction while pink rolls back into mouth, brow cocking in a confident movement at his statement like question. Ribs widened with a long sigh before a grunt emitted and barrel rolled to settle upon limbs, padder pushing against the solid floor while joints straightened the damsel into a stand. Of course I caught breakfast. Grin shone in his direction before strides headed in his direction, side rubbing up against his chest while physique sneaked beneath his chin, an alluring smile slowly pulling at kissers while leggings took her again towards the tree, facade turning back to show the expression to the baron. Attention returned to the scenery in front of her, jaws unhinging and dropping towards the earth to pick up the coon to bring back to the male, placing it before his feet while tongue again ran over his mask once again. He didn’t even suspect me. Vocals mused triumphantly, haunches folding and rump sinking towards the earth while the Evil Angel waited patiently, stomach rumbling slightly with hunger, but this being ignored as she had offered it to Niravadhi first. The vixen had gained the pleasure of the hunt and now it was only fair that she share the delicacy of the meal with her lover.

Niravadhi::Steps are taken in the direction the lass had taken, before motion is stopped as ebonite figure makes its way back from the shadows. Brow furrows in thought as I look at the strange creature my mate had hunted down. Dome nods absent-mindedly to show that I had taken heed of the lass’ words. Ribbon moving from maw to run briefly along her cheek in a short, silent action of congratulations. Yet mind is far too focused upon the strange creature that was dangling from the maiden’s onyx cavern. Orbs follow the carcass’ passage to the ground, taking in the silvery robing with odd black bands adorning its tail, and other black bands curling around its lifeless voids. Nares flicker, the scent of death almost overpowering the creature’s original aroma. Yet I caught the faintest trace of its life’s perfume. Haunches collapse beneath me, lean frame swaying slightly as my focus was total distracted from my body’s actions. The scent was slightly familiar. Only slightly. I had come across it a couple of times on my wandering within these lands, but had never known what type of creature it was. I had never been hungry enough to attempt hunting one either. Confused facials are raised to meet the expectant façade of my mate. Ehm….what is this? I ask softly, a sheepish undertone in my tones indicating my embarrassment at my lack of knowledge. I’ve never seen one of these before. They don’t exist up north. I add, somewhat in my defence, as voids flicker briefly down at breakfast. Faint smile pulls at kissers. Well, at least I know it’s edible now I say lightly, before forelimbs bend to bring my front closer to the ground. Snout moves cautiously towards the carcass, orbs flicking back upwards to make sure that it was I who was to take the first bite. Thanks I say quietly, before maw is opened to expose sharp enamels. Carefully, the left canine is inserted into the skin, before dome is pulled across. A slight tearing sound indicates that the creature was split open, muzzle working its way beneath the surface, before incisors are used to pull the hamstring away from the bone. Jaws work slowly, being chewing carefully in order to savour the taste of this foreign creature. It was surprisingly tender, considering it looked like a tree creature. Swallowing my last mouthful, I turn to look up at my mate. Not bad at all. You’ll have to teach me about the ways of these creatures I say quietly, before incisors are set to work once more, stripping the creature of its stomach muscles. One paw is placed forwards, holding the bloody carcass firmly in place, while jaws fasten around the creature’s rump. A loud snap heralds the breaking of the hip joint, before dome is pulled back yet further, until I come away with the hind leg held firmly in my maw. Dropping the limb to the ground, crown turns to the lady. It’s all yours now, my dear. Thanks for the breakfast. For a moment, I watch the huntress help herself to the remains of the creature. There was still plenty for the maiden to eat, for I never ate much in the mornings. A soft smile plays upon my visage for a moment, before I turn back to the leg I had torn from the body. It was not long after that the bones lay in a neat pile before me, the marrow sucked from within them, glistening white in the shadows. Having finished my breakfast, ribbon runs across padders and muzzle, cleansing the roan hairs of blood and gristle. Satisfied with my cleaning procedure, I turn to watch my mate, waiting patiently for her to finish.

Dris()Mercury pools stared off into the distance while the rarely seen patience extended onward, lobes only slightly attentive while they waited for the sound of snapping bones to enter the atmosphere. Slowly, alertness returned to the maiden and she very quickly realized that the characterizing noise which she was waiting upon had still not occurred. Orbs jerked towards the male sitting across from her and at seeing his confused features, her own mask made the same expression while tiara tilted in curiosity. Then, azures lift with a sheepish look and a question is asked of the lass, causing an amused smile to pull across kissers before bubbly laughter emits from cavern. It is called a raccoon. They are very common around here. I don’t usually pick them for a meal, but this one seemed as if it could fill each of our stomachs. Vocals explained through fits of giggles that continued to escape maw. Eventually, the dame is able to rein in her chuckles and simply sits there with a grin upon ebony mask while the lord approached cautiously, sniffed the carcass and eventually took meat from its bone, taking the obvious time to savor the taste before deciding whether he liked it or not. Stones met cobalts with a satisfied look before rump lifted corpse from the earth, padders lifting lightly as it brought the huntress closer. Usually, the Evil Angel would avoid coons all together, their silly antics making them very annoying creatures the majority of the time and their meat having no particular desired flavor. Of course, occasionally one would catch one of the beasts that did have a delightful taste to it and luckily for Niravadhi, his mate had taken the life of one of these kind. Upper peeled back from knives, letting their pearly surfaces flash in the growing sunlight for a moment before the rows darted forward, sinking sharply into what was left of the flesh. Simultaneously, leggings followed to lower underside to the flooring while the machine ripped off a chunk and digested it, the wolf eating surprisingly quite daintily despite all of her carnal savageness when on the hunt. Stomach cavity filled quickly, the damsel looking up from her breakfast at the baron with nothing left upon the skeletal system. Muscles flexed while figure rose again, strides moving bodess to the roan drake's side, ribbon flicking out to clean the plasma from snout at the same time. A smile is given to him; physique coming to a halt near as mind is suddenly set free, turning its attention back to the dream of the previous night. For a moment, the fea pondered upon asking him questions about this unknown Luna, but decision was made against it. Never before had the name escaped the companion's mouth and there had to be a reason for such. Still, the fatal could not help but feel the strong urge to claim the lad further, the emergence of a threat, yes, even a threat from another realm, bringing her to the conclusion. A low growl gathered in the back of her throat, but was quickly extinguished. He is my Niravadhi. Unchallenged vocals tell the gods, her well known attitude flaring up again. Attention turned then to the being who unknowingly had just been stolen like a toy by a selfish child. Charcoal side rubbed forcefully against the others, hairs mingling continuously while vocal cords vibrated in a purring like sound. I can teach you whatever you wish to know within my span of knowledge, Niravadhi.

Niravadhi::Cobalts watch as onyx figure makes its way closer, dome cocking slightly to the side as I pondered the lass’ next actions. A small smile pulls at kissers, as a foreign moistness sweeps across my muzzle, removing all traces of my meal from the pale hairs. Once the maiden finishes her task, I return the favour, although the crimson stains were much harder to discern upon her raven snout. Nonetheless, I do my share, taking pleasure in the contact of both our bodies. It was already becoming too difficult to remember my life before the huntress had found my trail. And, truth be told, I did not wish for time to reverse itself. In the last few days, I had been happier than I had been since my adolescence. Train of thought it brought to a close as the pressure upon my flank is increased, while soft vocals are released into the atmosphere. Dome is tilted to allow my smile to reach the blackened dove, while my own lyrics are sent in reply. Why thank you my dear. Structure is moved around in a semi circle, allowing my snout to run through the ebonite hairs along the lady’s back and flank. In doing so, nares suddenly pick up on a slight deviation from the normal pattern of things. Dris’ aroma had altered. Well, perhaps altered was not quite the correct term. It had intensified, though the change was ever so minute. Orbs narrow in confusion, while intellect immediately tries to find out why I had not noticed before. Perhaps the scent of death and, what was the creature…racoon had covered it up. Yet before I can form a definite conclusion, instinct suddenly causes the alarm bells within my mind to ring at full alert. There was only one thing that this increase in intensity of perfume could mean. It was nature’s way of inviting mates to bless the lands with new life. Something I was not planning to do. Certainly not. I couldn’t be a parent. No, no and no again. Limbs work in a backwards motion pulling me away from my raven mate, an expression akin to horror dawning upon my features. Oh no. No, no, no. I mutter distractedly, orbs pulled open wide, the sapphire colouring darkening with anxiety as each moment past. I have to go. Sorry. I say hurriedly, my breathing starting to go slightly uneven. Without another word or backward glance, I spin around on my haunches and sprint off into the forest as fast as my pillars would allow. Shape careers through the foliage, narrowly missing the densely populated trees, while leaves are stripped from the unlucky bushes that held their arms into my path. Mittens thud upon the ground in a frenzied beat as my blue form streaks onwards. Flanks are soon damp with sweat, whilst heaving raggedly, lungs desperately trying to take in more oxygen. Finally, I had reached my limit, my panic and worry having driven me further and faster than my body had ever experienced. Limbs collapse beneath my bodice as my entire form trembles in utter exhaustion. Pushing myself to such a limit was stupid, I thought sluggishly, but in that moment I cared very little for my health. How on earth had I not seen where my partnership with the dark angel could be headed? Perhaps I had hoped that she had not wanted pups. But what if I had judged her wrongly? Or perhaps I had denied that such an event could even happen. That either Dris was not receptive, or I not responsive. Whatever plans my thoughts had been riding on, the latter had certainly backfired. There had been no mistaking the stirring within my body when instinct suddenly kicked it. It had been simple enough to bury such physical desires when there was no lass who held my heart. But the balance had been tipped, and more than anything else, I was scared. Scared of doing something wrong, scared of being a bad mate, scared of being a bad father. The heavens knew how I did not want others to experience what I had done as a pup and youth. There were more than enough broken souls wandering through the world, pitying themselves, or doing evil in response to whichever misfortunes befell them. I did not want to be the cause for yet another ruined life. I would rather throw myself off a cliff like Luna had done. Destroy my own life, rather than that of an innocent creature. Suddenly, without warning, sobs shake my body, azures clouding over as my entire form shivers like a leaf in a winter breeze. Muzzle drops to the ground, forepaws covering my face as sorrow and fear threaten to tear me apart.

Dris()Pleased smile pulls across onyx mask, shades shutting over steel pair while the other's snout drawls circles along her flesh. Ah, it was good to be in love. Good to enjoy the touch of another and want it continuously, knowing that you could never get enough. Of course, this feeling was new and completely foreign for the lass and she could only guess if it was new for her companion. It was foolish at a time like this to think of such things so the damsel forced it from her mind, concentrating rather on the male at her side. Neck bends, lids lifting from liquids and ribbon flicking out to run from the tip of the roan tinted muzzled to the peak of the nearest twin, blacked sniffer burring itself in the luxurious mane and pulling in the masculine's scent, letting it build up in her nostrils and cloud the whole of her mind. Oh who am I kidding?! He is not mine, I am his! It is the nearly impossible and yet, it is fact! Bodice presses even closer, cage now wrapping nearly completely around the broad chest, snout pulling back slightly, but tape again setting into action, moving all over the bloke, mainly his crown and chin, the fatal unable to disconcert any logical path or method to the madness. Then, the warm figure in which the fea had managed to tangle herself around froze, the affectionate motions halting suddenly, causing her own antics to slow as fantasy slowly released her mind. Pink returned to cavern, tiara pulling back to look at the facade of the drake, finding nothing except dread there. Brow furrowed instantly, frame nearly pulling away, but refusing too as worry dug deep into the maiden's core. The words confused her even more, a nearly distraught look flashing at him as the heat of his side was quickly removed in a rush. No? No to what? Niravadhi?! Vocals inquired all too late. The varg had already burst away from her, the rustling of brush and pounding of padders telling her that he ran at quite a rapid speed, not caring what his entire skeleton collided with. For a moment, the vixen was left dazed, feeling for the first time in her life since childhood helpless and small. NO! That is not me anymore! Anger filled frame and front limbs lurched forward, hinds following dutifully. Guise was set, no room being allotted for vulnerability. To leave the situation without an explanation was not like the duke and no matter how much it bothered her that his complexion could change from happiness to horror within seconds, the demon could not let it get to her. After all, she had lived years defying her own emotions, this could not change simply because she met one who made her want to stick around. Nares widen to take in oxygen, but also bring in the scent of the beast who the huntress sought. At the speed that Niravadhi had been going at, it was unavoidable that he wouldn’t get very far. It took stamina to reach your limit and even the most practiced runner could not hold it for very long without finding himself or herself very quickly winded and weak. Haunches dropped at the sign of the familiar salt and pepper intermixed hairs, the fem dropping to a walk almost as quickly as she had jumped into a run. Iron voids watched the shaking bodice carefully as coal chasse moved forward, coming to the brute's side and bumping him gently in the shoulder with her muzzle. Leggings folded, making an "L" out of their carcasses while the previously dominant rebel receded, leaving the newly forged Evil Angel to deal with the occurrence. Jowls parted to release sound, but none came. No part of her could even haggard a guess upon what it was that bothered the lover. Perhaps it was best to let him speak first? So, the silence stretched onward, the madam dipping into her patience that did not exist when it came to others and waiting on the comforting tones to come into the atmosphere.

Niravadhi::Harks flutter listlessly as soft paw steps are made discernable. Then silence descends upon me once more. Perhaps this was all just a bad dream, and I would wake from it. But a soft touch upon my shoulder and an achingly familiar scent finally caused shutters to open. For a moment I am confused at the darkness which surrounded me. Then I remembered that I had hidden my face from the world. Paws are pulled to the side as dome is slowly raised, lids flickering across orbs for a moment until pupils contract to accommodate the sudden increase in light. In a terribly slow movement, crown is rotated upon nape until sapphire locks with puzzled mercury. Maw opens to speak, but closes when no utterance is made, my mind too mixed up with conflicting thoughts and emotions to even entertain the idea of speaking. Ribbon runs along kissers, as I struggle to gain a semblance of control. Maw opens yet again to emit a whisper, tenor vocals rough. I’m scared. I admit, dome falling earthwards to rest upon left forepaw, gaze unfocused as it slid past the ebonite countess. It took a long while for it to occur to me that my companion probably hadn’t the faintest clue what I was waffling about. Suddenly, limbs snap up beneath me, sending me shooting upwards. Structure sways alarmingly for a moment, before balance is restored and I begin pacing between two trees. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth….until forelegs dig into the ground causing me to shudder to a halt, haunches bunching close to forelimbs. Chasse then swings around by ninety degrees, until I am facing the totally confused maiden. Do you want a family? Do you want pups? I ask suddenly, lyrics strained as cobalts lock with ashen depths. Pacing is resumed, while I try to fathom my way to the bottom of my thoughts. As I paced, vocals flow freely from my cavern, as though in a rush to be heard before I lost the nerve totally. Because if you do, then I guess I cannot say no. I don’t want to make you unhappy. But I am surely going to be a terrible father. I don’t want to ruin someone else’s life. Not yours, not those of any pups I sire. I don’t want to be a failure again. Don’t make me, please. I ended on a pleading note, standing before the angel once more, optics clearly showing my distress; pain, fear and sorrow showing their colours easily within the changing hues. Structure sinks once more to the ground, shoulders slumping forwards slightly as I waited for the lass to make the decision that I would not contradict.

Dris()Orbs watch almost apprehensively as the drake slowly seems to withdraw from his little world and return to the present, crown swinging her way inch by inch with every passing second. Then, it was again time to play the waiting game as the male obviously could not think of what to say, just as the essa could not. Finally, after a long moment passed, vocals finally did come forth, but these did not help to ease the lass' confusion as she had hoped they would. Rather, the unknown became even deeper hidden from her, creating a slight mixture of anger and anxiety to erupt within raven cage. What had he to be scared about? Was it not made clear enough by her that she would protect him at all costs? Or perhaps, it was the demon that he was afraid of, the huntress who thirsted for blood and seemed blind to anything else when it poured from another's veins. This startled her for a moment, the prospect almost absurd and yet it was totally logical at the same time. Should the maiden inform him that nothing would ever cause her to bring harm to him? Not bloodlust, not anger. Before any decision could be made, the roan form jolted up from the earth, causing chin to lift awkwardly in a surprised reaction. Frown grew deeper while the bloke paced back and forth, back and forth; pondering whatever it was that was on his mind. Sockets widen in slight shock at the rapid fire questions that were then pointed in her direction as the aimless wandering came to an abrupt halt. Jowls part again, but snap closed as the words upon the tip of her tongue were interrupted by another flow of syllables from the duke's mouth and it was then that the fatal decided that she would wait out whatever it was he needed to say and listen before formulating a definite answer. A long silence followed after the pleading words, steel pools simply staring into the azure pair of their lover. Soft sigh emits, gaze dropping to the earth. It was hard to see him in such a state. Hard to know that it was partly your fault for causing this distress. I could never be unhappy with you by my side, Niravadhi. Tunes paused for a moment, ribbon flicking over lips while the rest gathered at the back of her throat. Family seems like a foreign concept for me. How can I want something and yet not know what it means? Depths lift to look at him for help, but knowing none could be offered. No pup deserves a mother like me, I know this and recognize all of the reasons why I should not reproduce and yet, I feel this strange yearning inside of me that I cannot describe or push from my system. Perhaps it is simply the chemical imbalance within me right now that causes this. Carefully articulated sentences draw to a close again, the damsel not done yet, but needing to figure out the best way to make her opinion plausible. I could never make you do anything, Niravadhi. It is my style to force others into my bidding, yes, but never you. Also, you are not a failure. If the friends that await you back at your camp are anything to attest to for I shall not include myself in my reasoning. Limbs then lift diaphragm from the ground and the fea moves closer, pressing her weight against the lord forcefully as if trying to get him to believe her through physical contact. There is no need to plead with me. Many others have done so and I do not wish for you to feel like you have joined their number. We are equals, you and I. I could not have accepted you any other way.
