The night was perfect in her mind she looked back on it and realized that if she could have pictured the way a date should have gone then it would look pretty similiar to their evening. They went somewhere where a normal person would not have gone on a regular basis and partook in an activity that was seen as a little strange. Yet they were both good natured about it and joked and talked easily with one another. She hoped that he felt the same way since she for sure wanted a second date. The kiss had been overlooked in the end though she did not mind though it did make her wonder how he had seen it. She stepped out of the car before jogging up to the door and opening it. Making sure that she locked it before stepping into the stairwell. She knew that she had to be at work early the next morning so that she would be able to take care of testing on some of the turtles long before the people were arriving to the zoo. Tomorrow would be the last day that she would be there though before she was assigned back at the aquarium, apparently one of the full time people had quit and she was needed to take over their spot since they were already short staffed as it was. She awoke the next morning long before the sun was up and put a english muffin into the toaster before then stepping into the shower and using it for all of what seemed like 30 seconds, she grabbed the breakfast and put butter on it before finishing eating and walking back into the bathroom and blow drying her hair. After it was completely straight she dressed in a pair of black pants and a polo shirt with the zoos name on it. When she left the house it was still so early that she had to turn her headlights on in the car. She got one of the best parking spots when she arrived and the gate keeper allowed her through the gates to join the other two people who were waiting for her at the tank. The turtles that had been sick seemed to be improving and so far all of them lived though they were not out of the woods yet and they would take a lot more special care before they were sure that they would live. It turned out that the habitat had been kept too cold for them so therefore when they were getting to cold they would get sick easier. It seemed to be fixed though now so for the rest of the day she carried on a couple more checks with them, soon it was the time that the kids were running around and the sun was high in the sky signalling that she was almost finished work. She was observing the tank from the outside when someone stepped up behind her and whispered in her ear causing her to jump and almost raise a fist to punch the person before fluid Italian lyrics were spoken to her. What a coincidence, did not get your fill of the zoo? She knew that they were alone in the tunnel so the words would mean nothing to someone even if someone was there and the chances would be that it was a child. Though it was soon dismissed before she then pulled out her cell phone looking at the time. Well I get off in lets see, ten minutes so, I suppose I could go with you. She said with a small chuckle. Just let me put these files away. She took the clip boards that she had had in her hand and ducked beneath a door that blended into the wall returning in a moment with her bag in her hand and keys.

He felt how tense her muscles were beneath his grip until she recognized who it was and he would not have put it passed her to fight back if he hadn't been someone familiar to her. Probably not a smart idea for the most part, but he was just playing a game. He should know better than to sneak up on people but in this case he could not help it. I told you I would get you back, didn't I? A smirk tugged at the corners of his kissers after saying this. He rolled his eyes. Of course I could not have just come to save a damsel from distressing in the midst of doing her job? He feigned shock, placing a hand near the area in which his heart laid. He quickly became serious, shrugging his shoulders. I was curious, and I thought there was a slight chance of running into you here. He admitted, deciding against not telling the entire truth. She then told him that she would be off soon and he smiled. Excellent. He then paused a moment, furrowing his eyebrows. Wait....Suppose? I thought for sure you have been enjoying yourself as well? He questioned, only to have her walk into a room for a moment before coming back with her things. He was very curious to see if she would pay any attention to his question. Though he knew he was purposely overreacting, he wanted her input on the subject. For him, he knew there was a reason he kept coming back, none of it really being accidently. As they walked out of the gate, he pressed the unlock button on his car's remote, the vehicle beeping in turn. You can ride with me if you'd like to. He stated before walking off, slowing to match her step as she followed after him. Once they were in the car, he simply commented, I assume you are not afraid of heights since the hobbies you informed me of seemed to have a large amount of height related to them? He chuckled softly as he pulled the car to the curb and parked it near the recreational center. The car was locked after they started walking down the side walk and into the doors. I know you did not mention rock climbing yesterday, but I thought it might be worth a try. He glanced up towards the two different walls that loomed above them, striding over to pay the few dollars it cost for both of them, signing the releasement form and waiting patiently for her to do so as well. Rock climbing, lunch and we'll go from there alright with you? Unless you have some other arrangements of course. He hoped the girl was not starving, and if she was that she would speak up otherwise he would have felt rather bad for not grabbing something to eat first. A gesture was made towards the area where a few off the staff were able to help them get in the harnesses and explain the brief basics of climbing. He'd already heard it, but continued to listen to the summary before starting. Ready? He asked, a bit of challenge in his voice until he thought of a good idea for a bit of a harmless bet. Loser buys lunch. Perhaps this was a bit unfair seeing as he had the shifter genes which would give him a bit of an advantage in some cases, but he doubted she would be an easy opponent.

When he stated that he had told her that he would get her back a small laugh was uttered. Well it looks like you suceeded. She told him with a playful glare that caused hazel optics to narrow and peer from behind heavy lashes. Upon making the next comment he rolled his eyes at her and told her that the reason that he had come back to the zoo was not because he missed the captivity in which she had saved him from but indeed to 'save' her from the confines of her work. Oh ok, I get you. I save you, you save me, then we are even. Playful tone danced through the space between the two of them lyrics were light and witty. The banter was soon halted though as the next statement seemed to have a serious edge to it. He seemed to question whether or not she enjoyed his company, ivories clamp on her bottom lip wondering if her playful jest had started to get to him and burn his confidence. All of the comments were called of for the time being. Of course I enjoy being around you. I had a lot of fun last night. And the night before. It was strange for her to see the man so much in such a short span of time though it felt natural and was getting to be a habit for her, she was sure that if she went a day without running into him and ending up going out with him somewhere that it would now seem out of place. She could not help the next comment when she appeared from the back where she had changed into her regular clothes and carried her bag that housed the polo with the zoo's label on it. A small smile was uttered, arm was looped through his like they did in old movies for the ball room scenes of the women being escorted by the men. Take me away, my knight in shining armour. She attempted in a serious tone though broke to light chuckles near the end. Not caring that her co-workers were watching as they walked with their arms linked to the gate. She pulled her own arm back when they reached his car and she stepped inside, closing the door behind her and pulling the seatbelt over her lap and clicking it into place beside her before turning to him wondering what he had planned for the day. When he assumed that she was not afraid of heights her mind was sent reeling at the different things that they might partake in. Sure she was not deathly afraid of heights though she had been kidding when she had told him that her hobbies contained things such as sky diving. To tell the truth, climbing even to the top of a ladder was enough height for her. So she deeply hoped this was not going to be too bad. If it was something that proved to be too risky for her liking she might be forced to hang off him like a clingy high school girl, now that would not be too bad would it? A breath of relief was uttered when he mentioned that their activity would be rock climbing, that she could handle. Sounds like a blast. She uttered and she gently shut the car door when she stepped from the car and walked with him to the front of the gymnasium that had been built to house the hobby. He paid for their fees to get in and for once she did not protest. Sounds good. She answered when he suggested that they do the rock climbing then head for lunch. She was hungry though it could wait she was not at a point where she was starving. The lady helped them into harnesses but she had already become accustomed to wearing them since in Crete one of the local events were rock climbing that they had set up on a large cliff off the edge of the beach. The view from the top was what really was stunning though and a lot of people would stop to have a picnic once they reached the top before belaying back down. Her father had been the one to have taken her there. And raced her to the top, she had lost but the view had been worth it, the sand that seemed to stretch into an abyss from ground level seemed as though it was only a centimeter long, the ocean in a turquoise hue was what stretched to infinity. The mainland could be seen from there as well. Once they were fastened in their harnesses she then glanced to him when he uttered his bet. The person that was the last to the top would pay for lunches. This appealed to her competitive nature though she wished to pay anyways since it had been him that had been footing the bill for the last two days and that was not fair. When they were standing the same distance from the wall and he asked if she was ready she nodded and long strides carry her to the base hands already outstretched for the first hand hold. The first few were easy then they started to get a little more spaced out and foot slipped off the bottom one causing body to twist and her to become faced the opposite direction with back hitting the back of the wall before she was able to grab it above her again and continue. She realized that she had lost a lot of time though she was agile and fit and not prepared to make the same mistake again. Though she did not have enough room to make up the needed time and came to the top just after him. Impressive. She told him with a small smile. She knew that the people at the bottom would be impatient with them just staying at the top though so she gave her person a thumbs up sign as they had been told and faced the same way again pushing off the wall with her legs to be allowed gracefully to the bottom. Feet touched the ground softly before harness was stripped from her.

Of course he had to get her back as he had pledged to do so the night before and he successfully did just that. She then teased him about them now being even, which brought up a good point in their little game. She was one that could handle joking around with him without a problem, not taking anything entirely too seriously. His question had only been a playful thought at first, and then he had started to worry. Hopefully she was not just coming along like it was some sort of pity party. His worry ceased soon after she told him that she had enjoyed herself, both of their previous times together. A smile was offered to her, nodding slightly as he then considered backing off a bit. He did not want to overdo it, just start taking it slow and easy for awhile. A glance was shot in her direction as her arm was linked through his own, the words that came from her lips causing him to laugh softly once more. He could not exactly recall the amount of times in which he had been referred to as a 'knight in shining armor', though he did not mind, the thought humored him.M'lady, I'm afraid the closest thing I having to shining armor is tin foil, but I'm afraid that was left at home. What a pity. He enjoyed their conversations very much so, it felt very nice to let go and have fun. Hence why his own plans had been very casual and laid back, he needed a break from the seriousness. Rock climbing used to be a bit more of a hobby for him, something he would do on occasion in his spare time. Now, the idea seemed to have slipped his mind for the most part, until it had come up some where not that long ago. Though, he'd actually managed to go He was quite relieved to see that she accepted his idea of rock climbing without hesitation, if not he would have felt like an idiot. She agreed with his plan, which hopefully meant she was not too hungry at the moment. Upon her signal, he grabbed the first holds and climbed up, scaling along the different shaped grips carefully, although he had gotten pretty good at doing such things. She was ahead of him a bit before she lost hold and he asked if she was alright only for him to glance back and see she had readjusted herself. He continued his climb, loosing his footing once or twice but managing to haul his frame to the top. He pressed the button, seeing her climbing up not long after. Why thank you. Soft chuckle echoed from his throat before he gave the okay to the person at the end of the rope was slowly lowered to the ground. He undid the various buckles, looking up as she landed. You really did not need to go easy on me you know. Teasing vocals played out with a wink, walking in even step with her. Now where to go... He pondered out loud, thinking briefly before deciding. Button was pressed to unlock the doors. Passenger's side door was opened for her before striding to his side of the car and getting in, turning the keys in the ignition and bringing the engine to life once again. Moments later, they pulled into the parking lot of a rather busy looking drive in restaurant. It's simple, but very good. Smile was offered to her once again as he got out of the car, walking ahead of her and holding the door. A tinge of jealousy came over the male as he noticed a few sets of eyes wandering over her frame, yet he had to remind himself that they were not technically more than friends. That was something he wanted to change, he was not quite sure when though. Stupid leopard instinct was nearly urging him to rip the smirks from a few other guys' faces. Arm was loosely draped around her shoulders as they stood in the small line, gaze scanning the menu as he decided. Despite what he had said earlier in terms of their small bet, he grabbed out his wallet and sorted out a few bills that would pay for the both of them. He was aware that it probably would not go over well with her, but he had been taught better than to have the lady pay. Once it was their turn, he ordered a cheeseburger; not something he ate often but found to be very delicious when it was made properly. The food here was neither charbroiled or dripping in grease, it was made to order so it took a few minutes of wait. After she ordered as well, he pushed the bills forward and took the check that stated their number. Next time. He told her as she protested about him paying, though he did not intend on that happening. He motioned towards one of the small booths sliding in opposite from her. A glimpse of white flakes falling from the sky was seen and he grinned slightly, looking to her and raising a brow. So how are you on the subject on ice skating? Normally, he wasn't one to hint for his ideas, but he honestly wanted to know her own opinion.

When he reached the top a small glare was sent in his direction though she was good hearted about his win. He was indeed very agile. Had you asked her a few days ago the way she pictured the man she would have told you that he looked like a very proper businessman, not a worthy companion for events such as this. That just seemed to prove how wrong first impressions were. When she had first met him she thought that he seemed a little uptight, but that was just because the situation they had been in was less then ideal who would not be a little nervous when a girl that you did not even know kidnapped and essentially rescued you from a zoo and found out your largest secret. She could relate so not much thought was given to it. She knew that if she had been in the situation she would have panicked thinking that it was much easier to see what she was no matter how hard she tried to hide it, but that was not at all the case. When he told her that she did not need to go easy on him a playful smirk crossed delicate features. You seem to have overestimated my talent. Rock climbing is not one of my strong points. As they reached the bottom she stepped free of the harness and followed him out the door a small thank you was uttered when he held the passengers side door open for her before stepping into the car and relaxing into the seat.He told her that the restaurant that they were going to was simple but good and she nodded slightly with a small smile. She had never been to the place he was taking her, eyes wash over the sign before she stepped out to join him. She stepped inside when he held the door for her and she did not even notice the couple sets of eyes that washed over her body. She was blissfully unaware until the look of jealousy flashed on the males face and lasted there for a split second and brow raised a little, it did make her feel slightly special though and it was not going to be mentioned. His arm was draped along her shoulders and a contented sigh left her lips. She did not want to make a scene when he pulled out his wallet and got ready to pay for their meal. Fine, next time, but I will hold you to that promise. She muttered nearly inaudibly. When the time came for her to order she decided that his choice sounded appealing. I will have the same please. She told the person at the front before then following him to the booth in which they were sent to wait for their meal. Sitting across from him gaze met his for a moment before her asked what she thought about ice skating. Well to tell you the truth I would not know, I have never been. In Crete the winters are so mild that there never is snow, I don't think they even have an ice rink there. The snowy weather here was new to her but already she had come to love the time of the year where you could bundle yourself up and drink hot drinks while watching a white blanket accumulate. When the food arrived it looked delicious and she set to eating.

Sensitive hearing caught the soft sigh that came from the girl at the presence of his arm around her shoulders. A small smile crept along the man's kissers, nodding silently as she claimed that she would hold him to paying next time. He had no doubt that she would attempt to, and he of course would do the same. He was still as his eyes kept level with hers, letting the words process in his head before speaking them aloud. It seemed quite logical for Crete not to have an ice rink, seeing as it was fairly close to the equator and he had never heard of anything like one it Italy; it'd been another new thing that he had learned of while attending college. He'd heard one of the waitresses going on and on about how she was so excited for winter and the different activities that came along with it; ice skating being one of the multiple. Hmm. I was considering the idea, would you be interested in joining me? Rich accented lyrics questioned lightly. He hoped she would accompany him, but there was never a guarantee. He was quite pleased she had come with him this far, and of course the invitations were always left open and casual. He would not get his hopes up, nor would he try and persuade her either way. Her comfort was his main focus, never pressuring her into something she would not like to do. The food came rather quickly and once they finished he threw away the trash before returning to the seat. So you're up for it? He asked, chuckling quietly as she agreed. He thought it could get a little interesting, considerably for himself and it could appear as a challenge for her as well. He figured it was bound to be fun, unless someone got majorly hurt, which was a small possibility. The door was once more opened for her, offering his arm to take as they would be walking the short distance to the skating rink. The snow flurries were light and quickly disappeared as they hit the pavement. Strides were steady in comparison to hers, smile spreading as he cast a few friendly glances in her direction. The building that contained the ice rink was a bit cold, but it only made sense in order to keep the rink from melting. Though he was not one to get cold easily, another strange trait he'd inherited from the whole shifter thing. It was very strange, there was no one that could deny it. As they stepped up to the counter, he borrowed a pair of skates that would fit his feet, waiting patiently for her as well before paying and going to put them on.This may not be the best idea I've had. He laughed good-naturedly as he stepped onto the ice, steadying himself against the wall before attempting roughly at first and sort of getting the hold of it. He was rather unstable for a while until he managed to slide along the ice slowly with more confidence. Presence was kept rather close to hers, making sure she would not hit the ice and he would be of assistance if it was needed. Perhaps he was being a bit to cautious of her but he wanted to make sure she did not get hurt if he could help it, essentially because he could be the key reason for it practically.

He seemed to have noticed the small sigh that was released when his arm was placed over her shoulders which was not all too bad, it recognized that she was relaxed and enjoyed his presence and hopefully that would set him at ease a little. When they were sitting at the table and discussing ice skating a small nod was uttered and crown dipped. She was usually quite adventurous but she did not like the idea of making a fool out of herself in front of the man that she liked. But if that was an activity in which he wanted to participate in she was not going to tell him no, she would use any excuse to be around him, which to her was a strange concept since she was so independant. The food when it arrived was delicious and lived up to the mans review. The food is great. Not quite as good as your restaurant though. She said with a small smile. Hazel optics met his eyes for a moment before they were both finished. I would love to join you ice skating. She was going to exhausted by the end of the day after work, rock climbing and then ice skating. After they had finished he had grabbed the trash and threw it out. She reached for the door though he managed to get there first and hold it open for her and a small glare was sent his direction before they headed over to the car. He held the door open for her again like a true gentleman. The guy that she had dated previously were nothing like this, they had been her friends first so for some reason they thought that would give them a pass just to act as if they were nothing more then friends. Her independant side flared up wanting her to step in front of him to grab the door for herself and tell him enough but it was nice to have someone be a little more old school. When they arrived at the large building he once again held out his arm for her to take which seemed to become quite natural. Eyes land on the sign, stomach was already churning, she was glad that it was still within the middle of the day so she knew that a lot of the kids that were in school would not be there to laugh at her as she fell on her ass. Her balance was impeccable but that was on the solid ground beneath her feet that had not been polished to ensure that it was as slippery as possible. This suddenly did not seem like a good idea. She needed to be able to walk for work tomorrow. She asked for a pair of skates in her size and was handed a well worn pair before they were allowed through into the changing area. She was glad that she was wearing a hoody but knew that she would be cold anyways. Once the laces were tied she then looked to him when he admitted that this might not be the best idea that he had had. Well who knows we might both be naturals. It was highly unlikely but she held onto the feeble hope. She allowed him to go first and watched as he clung to the railing, knowing she would be doing the same in just a few moments she did not shoot out a teasing remark. A hesitant step was taken out onto the ice following suit and grasping the railing. Testing each of the skates she found it hard to actually allow them to slide without a sinking feeling of panic washing over her. Now the next question was how in the earth did you stop? Finally she seemed to gain a little bit of speed though she had not even attempted to stop. Just as confidence started to rise she felt herself get a little wobbly. Turning to the side only seemed to hinder the movement and soon she managed to trip over her own two feet, of course her first instinct being to grab whatever was near to her which managed to be the males hand. She attempted to tell her mind to let go but it was no use she had already pulled him off balance as well and wound up landing right on top of him in the middle of the ice. The close proximity causing chills to run down her spine though it was not from the temperature in the ice rink. Cheeks were red with embarrassment. Oops. She stated quietly giving a moment before she managed to get to her feet. I am sorry, clearly I am a danger to us both. She said with a small pout. She then took his hand, steadying herself and skating successfully a whole lap around the ice rink. Well thats enough for me before I end up taking out people I don't know as well. Now what? Any more top secret plans or do I get a turn now? Perhaps something that requires less energy?

I think you are just biased. Pools rolled playfully as she commented that the food was not as good as that from his restaurant; they were two completely different things but he was not going to argue with any sort of praise from anyone, let alone her. Compliments were not something to be refused, though he found himself to have to remind himself every once in a while. It was a human habit; always searching for something more. The rat race referred to as life. Though he was quite certain that his case was no where near the disease that thousands seemed to have. He was proud of his achievements, he really was, yet he did not brag about them often. It was once she agreed and they went through the doors of the rink that he realized he would probably have her worn out between this all and her already having gone to work. Not a very smooth move. He should have probably chosen something a little less energy consuming for her sake, but it seemed too late now seeing as they were lacing on the pairs of skates. He chuckled softly as she stated that they could be naturals possibly. Yeah, I'm sure. He teased, but she never pointed out that he held the rail at first like a coward and he was slightly surprised until he noticed her doing the same thing. He watched her first attempts in interest, trying to focus on his balance as well. Then they managed to both start going forward a little faster and it seemed to be going rather well actually. Then he heard the sound of skates oddly scuffling against the ice and turned only for her to grab his hand and pull him to the ice as well. The ice was rather cold, being frozen, yet he ignored that and the pain that ran through his back, raising an eyebrow at the girl who laid sprawled across his body. He tried best not to laugh, noticing instantly how embarrassed she was at the whole ideal. Elbows were propped against the ice, smiling at her gently as she managed to get up, him doing so as well once she was clear of his path. Nothing to be sorry about, I'm glad I could catch your fall. Tones were quiet, light in manner as he leaned in and let them ring into her ear. You are very dangerous. Teasing smirk overtook his facial features before his hand was taken once more by hers. Though this time they managed to stay on their feet and complete one round before she suggested they leave so she did not fall upon someone else.A slight nod was given. I'm not too keen on that idea either...I say it's your turn, seeing as I haven't given you a chance at all yet. Probably something with a little less energy would be better. He admitted this without a second thought, not wanting to wear her out anymore than he had probably already. A note was made silently, reminding him for later occasions to plan ahead a bit more and actually think things over rather than being utterly spontaneous. They returned the skates and he glanced at her with a grin. Where to? He questioned, gaze scanning her face for a moment before looking away. Brow was furrowed as they walked out of the door, silently thinking to himself as they walked. He hesitated, turning so that his eyes met hers, kind smile was plastered upon his features. Though this time he could not resist the small urge to do something more.Gentle fingers were placed under her chin, closing his eyes as lips were brushing over hers for a fraction of time. Shit, he probably should not have done that. Straightening his voice awkwardly, stepping back and letting his hands fall limply to his sides.I am sorry....That was completely uncalled for. Vocals mumbled. A part of him wished to be proud of the action, seeing as how interested he was in her and how he wanted for her to be aware of this but he could not exactly imagine himself being bold in that sense. Snowflakes continued to dance about the air as he started walking again, silent as he pondered over his ridiculous actions. And now what was going to be Ardeil's impression of him? There was a bit of confidence that she would not simply leave just because of him kissing her; hopefully she would just dismiss it or be completely fine with it. The more he thought about it, the less of a big deal it came. It seemed with the way their flirting went that something more was possible and probably not frowned upon so much. And he honestly was considering asking this girl out, just not sure exactly how to or when to yet. It was still up in the air in those terms, and he was almost positive that she would not be offended by the question. He was not positive, however, that she would say yes immediately upon asking; that was common sense and he was not the overly cocky type. Pace was slowed a bit, trying to fall in step besides her a bit more practically. He swallowed the small lump that had formed in his throat, trying to clear his head a bit more simultaneously. Searching for the words, he opened and closed his jaw as he was still trying to process what to say. Ardeil... Rich tones trailed off, stopping and facing her with a somber gaze, gentle smile managing to cross his kissers. These last few days have been great. And again, thank you for coming with me. To be honest, I think I needed it. He paused, still trying to figure out how to exactly say the rest.

When he told her that she was biased about his restaurant being the best the only reaction he got was the roll of hazel coloured pools with a small playful smile. Sure she was a little biased since the owner happened to by the handsome man that she had rescued from the zoo and ended up having one of the best times of her life the past couple days with but she still meant the praise, the food had been fabulous and there had been a lot of pride and effort that had gone into the restaurant all of which was very apparent. He seemed to be as confident as she was that they would not be naturals at skating, well it was a nice thought. Things like that only happened in movies though where the harsh reality of it was that no one was immediately good at something without time, blood, sweat and tears. After she had tumbled into him and taken him out on the ice he then agreed that she was dangerous and after they had skated their one lap around that they should go and partake in another activity in which they were not dangers to the rest of the people that were innocently skating around the ice rink. She stepped off the ice and into the small area where they had laced up their skates and changed back into her shoes before handing the lady at the front her rental skates. Done already? The lady asked. Well we figured we would quit while we were ahead and still were able to walk off the ice. She uttered in response making the lady chuckle a little. As they walked out the door there was a small tinge of tension between the two of them that she had not noticed before. Being in his presence had been so easy from the start since they seemed to get along so well and sure she was interested in him as more then a friend though she had been too much of a chicken to do much more about it. Last night the kiss that had been pressed to his cheek had been nearly forgotten, well until now. A strange expression crossed his face and she found her knees a little wobbly when his expression turned soft and a small smile curved lips upwards. The smile causing the butterflies to do flip flops in her stomach and her entire body to feel a little jittery. Fingers reach out to be placed underneath her chin and lips were then brushed against hers. Lips met his easily and pressed softly against his as if she had been anticipating the action before it had even happened. As quickly as it had started it stopped and he stood there looking a little akward with his hands by his side. Confusion crossed her face until he spoke apologizing and calling the action uncalled for. Don't apologize. As they say, actions speak louder then words, as she finished uttering the words she then stood on her tip toes to almost reach his level and lips were pressed against his this time with a little more of a definite action. Upon hearing the giggles of high school girls she broke the kiss and retreated to the males side. Watching as a flock of teenage girls passed by them all seeming to be undressing the male with their eyes. A small chuckle was released into the atmosphere. The snow was starting to accumulate along the road which made her a little nervous knowing that her car was not all that good in the snow and it was still in the parking lot of the zoo. Well, how about you come over and we can watch a movie? I want to get my car from the zoo though before it snows too much and I can not move it. She uttered. Before she managed to give it too much thought he paused for a moment to look at her. The words that he spoke set her at ease, even though she had been able to guess that he had been having a good time it was nice to hear the words. No, thank you. I have had the most fun I have had in a long time. I am so glad I met you even if it was through strange circumstances. She said with a small smile pausing since he seemed to be searching for more words to continue, brow raised slightly.

Through placing his fingers beneath her chin, he could feel that she seemed ever so slightly unsteady. He tried his best to keep calm on the outside, but on the inside he was rather unstable as well. The small worry that he may have screwed everything up by the action vanished as their lips touched and she seemed to lean into it. It did not last long enough for his liking, but though he still apologized for it. She told him not to apologize and he smiled warmly. As she stood on the tips of her toes, he lowered his head slowly until their lips met once more.Once she pulled away, it took him a moment to understand exactly why until he saw and heard the group of teenage girls passing by, giggling. He only caught a glimpse of them, enough to see the way they were looking at him. Though he was much more intent on the lady by his side. He raised a brow, shaking his head as she chuckled. The snow blanket that covered the ground was about an inch thick, though it was still falling steadily with large flakes. This snow might stay for a bit, or it might be the start of what they were going to see for the next few months. As they walked, she suggested going to see a movie at her place and he nodded. Alright. I understand. He murmured in agreement. Getting your car snowed in was not the funnest thing to have happen, he knew from personal experience. He chuckled quietly as she told him in turn that it was the most fun she'd had in a long time. I feel the same way. He admitted, which was true. He would not of gone and done such random things alone. And as far as meeting her, he was very glad for that to have happened. Believe me, I am extremely glad we met, besides the rescuing part. He uttered softly, still conjuring up the exact words he was going to say. He decided against asking at the current moment, not wanting to keep her out in the middle of the falling snow. They walked to the car in awkward silence, nothing seemed fitting exactly to say at the current time. The drive to the zoo was short but felt excruciatingly long through the silence. He didn't understand why he could not just ask her the simple question. He knew there was a chance of her slipping away, a chance of him not even getting a chance because he was too chicken to ask. I'll follow behind you. He mumbled as she stepped out of the car. Seeing that her sweatshirt looked rather wet, he shrugged out of his jacket and offered it to her. He watched from his car as she went to hers, nervous glance surveying the main gates and the parking lot. There was still fear that someone knew his secret, which could also lead them to hers. Either way, they could both be in trouble in multiple ways.Restless fingers thrummed against the steering wheel as the worry of either of them getting caught settled in the pit of his stomach. He was at fault, willing to take the blame for his stupid actions but once she was roped into it, it was another deal. If she somehow got caught and suffered because of him, he would never forgive himself. And if he was to get caught, he would have to do some major bull shitting to try to get himself out, saving the secrets of the other shifting as well. But right now, he did not want to think of these circumstances too much. He was looking forward to joining a certain girl for a movie, and he needed to gather the guts to formally ask her the simple question. He could not understand why he could not ask her, why he was so picky about how and when to ask her. It was not as if he was asking a more important question like asking her to marry him. The worst thing that could happen was for her to say no, which he understood to be a slimmer chance seeing as she did not seem ashamed of any of his actions. He felt like he was a sixteen year old again, too nervous to ask the popular girl to the dance. The male shook his head, turning up the speakers to drown out his thoughts. He vowed to himself silently that he would ask her soon.

It had been a long time since she had been around someone in the way that they had been spending time together. She did not imagine herself being this open with someone else and so it was something new, something that she could get used to and something that she was starting to really enjoy. After he kissed her the first time he seemed to lose a lot of confidence so when she stood on her tip toes to kiss him again her intentions were to make him just as confident of her feelings. If anything she had been the one to be scared that he saw her as nothing more then a friend. A small chuckle was released when she spotted the teen girls though not too much thought was given to it as he agreed for her plan for the afternoon and they walked in the direction of the car where she slid into the passengers side and fastened her seatbelt before relaxing comfortably in the car. She was completely relaxed even with the small amount of akward silence in the car. A small smile remaining plastered on gentle features. The drive was not too long and she immediately stepped out of the car once they were in the parking lot and by her car. She nodded when he told her that he would follow her home. She took her keys from her pockets and pressed the button to unlock the car. When she had stepped out he then offered her his jacket which she wanted to tell him to keep since she would be within the warmth of the car he had already draped it over her shoulders though and she found herself savouring the comfort of the jacket of the man, Thank you. She told him gently before then opening her car door and starting the engine while waiting for the heat to defrost the windshield that had started to fog already, once the glass was clear she backed from the parking spot and turned onto the main road driving a little slower then she usually would to allow for the slippery surface. The car was actually quite good in the snow since she had snow tires on it and it was low to the ground and quite heavy. A lot of the time she would be driving the car around with less problems than people that had 4X4. It was amazing to her how the men in the large trucks thought that just because they had 4X4 that they were able to drive as though it was a sunny day and it was usually them that were the ones that wound up in the ditch just because they were overly confident. The zoo was not far from her house since she had aimed it that way since the Aquarium was right next door. The garage door opener was pressed from the top of the visor and it opened to allow the car into the garage. She stepped from the car and waited for him to be within the garage before she pressed the small button by the door that lead to the house. Even though she knew that it was not likely that someone would be able to get through the garage door to get into the house she kept this door locked as well and pulled out the keys that had been in the ignition of the car and pressed it into the lock and turned it to push the door open. Instantly lights were flicked on so that they would not be left in the dark and she left her shoes that were soaked from the snow at the edge of the mat. She closed the door behind her and then shrugged the jacket from her shoulders to give back to the male. She then peeled the hoody was her body happy that the wet flakes had not penetrated into the bottom layer of the charcoal lower cut shirt that was worn beneath. Shivering slightly she rubbed her hands together until the friction seemed to make them a little warmer. She lead him into the kitchen and she leaned on the granite countertop. Are you hungry? Would you like some hot chocolate? It seemed to be the season for the hot drink as she then put the kettle on to boil water before settling onto the high stools that sat at the counter top. As soon as it had boiled the hot chocolate mix was put in the cup and filled with boiling water and stirred with a spoon. Picking up to the two cups she then carried them into the living room where it was a little more comfortable and placed them on the end tables. Since it was winter it was already getting dark so she did not feel lazy to be sitting down to watch a movie. Jeaned legs were tucked neatly beneath her as she sat cross legged waiting for him to join her before then deciding to move until she was sitting in front of the movie shelf so she was able to get him to make his decision. What kind of movies do you like? She stood once more to then flick a switch on the mantle and a fire then started to roar in the fireplace creating a relaxing feeling through the living room as she had turned the lights of when she entered since it was never the same to watch a movie in the light. Once they had chosen a movie it was put int he DVD player and she large flat screen tv was turned on the volume raised to a respectable level before she then settled onto the couch once more, tucking her feet beneath her to attempt to keep them a little warmer, moving until she was quite close to him on the couch but not too sure if he would enjoy her being this close she left enough space that she would not invading.

A charming smile crossed over the man's features as she took the coat, nerves relaxing as she got into her car and the engine revolved without a problem. He was just overreacting which was obvious. If anyone had caught them in the act, they would have come for them now. He noticed that her car was a bit more adjusted for the winter months by having snow tires as well as chains, where he had not yet gotten around to do that.It seemed now that winter was here, and would be staying for the next few months so he would have to take his car down to the tire center. He was cautious as he drove, yet he had adjusted to the snow and the few inches covering the ground was not very significant compared to the snow he had gotten caught in before. He pulled into the driveway and parked his car after she had driven hers into the garage. Quick strides carried his frame into the garage, following her up the steps and leaving his shoes near hers. Once she handed back the jacket, he hung it on an open peg on the coat rack because he did not want to have it on or leave it strewn across her house somewhere. Brow rose slightly for a small moment as she stripped the sweatshirt from her body, but his eyes did not linger, focusing on her expression. Head shook lightly as she asked if he was hungry. No thank you, but I will take you up on the hot chocolate. He replied quietly, surprised at how refreshing the classic winter beverage sounded. As she fixed the drinks, his gaze flicked between her actions as well as her face subconsciously. He followed after her into the living room, shrugging his shoulders before replying as she asked which sort of movies he liked. He thought for a moment, glancing over to see her turning on the fireplace. Anything is alright with me. He answered, but could tell she was not satisfied with his decision so he got up, leaning over to glance at the movies. He picked a familiar title that he knew was funny and handed it to her with a crooked smile. He settled back on the couch once they both agreed on the movie. As she sat on the couch, he noticed the way she scooted close but stopped herself, seeming rather cautious or maybe that was just how she was comfortable. A lame idea struck into his mind, but he decided to go with it, as he had seen it done before.Arms were stretched slightly as to not block her view, but his right arm stretched along the back of the couch until it was slowly lowered near her shoulders. He watched her expression out of the corner of his eye while letting his gaze wander over the television. As the credits rolled across the screen, his arm had not moved from where it draped around her shoulders but he quickly removed it as she went to shut off the tv and dvd player. Hands were shoved into his pockets as the male stood up behind her. As she got up again, he offered her a gentle smile. I should get going for the night. He murmured, but was not quite ready to leave yet. Ardeil. He uttered, grabbing her hand gently and letting his lips brush against the back of her hand for a moment. Finally he had summoned the courage to ask her. Will you be my girlfriend? Vocals were quiet, somber expression as he watched her face while waiting for the reply.

The garage seemed to harbor the coldest air possible and it was impossible to walk into the enclosed area without shivering, it must have been because the cold air would get trapped from sneaking beneath the garage door and staying there and the sun did not reach through the roof since even though today had been cold and snowy there had been a certain amount of sun that even though it did not seem like it warmed the terrain a considerable amount. So therefore she spent as little time in the cold garage as possible and stepped into the house the moment that the door was unlocked and discarded her shoes. Watching as he followed right behind her and did the same, the manners of the man were utterly impeccable and caused her heart to flutter a little in her chest, there were not too many like him around anymore that would continue the polite tradition of removing their shoes when they entered someone house, always opening the door for the girl, etc. One of the things that bugged her the most was men that thought it was alright to wear their hats when they were in a fancy restaurant. It was impolite 20 years ago and now that society is a little more lax does not mean that it is acceptable. He also took his jacket off to hang it on one of the hooks at the door before stepping into the kitchen and joining her, she knew that she would not be able to outdo the man’s cooking since that was his entire job but it was not like she did not know how to cook and she would be able to guarantee that she would be able to make him a better Greek salad, and she might be able to make a better souvlaki since they were specialized Greek food in which she had some secret recipes that were passed down from her grandmothers. She knew that they had not eaten too long ago and he told her that he was not hungry so she set to work with making the hot chocolate. The beverage could only make the day better with the weather outside. Some people would call it miserable but she would not agree she found it to be delightful since snow was one of her favourite weathers since it did not happen in Greece since it was just too close to the equator. Their weather was very steady and the seasons did not seem to differ from one another too much. She finished their hot chocolate sneaking a glance at the male as he stood in front of her and carried both of the mugs back to the living room and set them in place on the side tables of the couch before sitting down and requesting that he choose a movie. Of which he made a good choice, one that was known to be quite funny and she put it in the DVD player before flicking the TV on and adjusting the lights in the room and the volume so that she would not have to stand up again. She settled on the couch to watch the movie, not too long in she noticed that the males arm raised and was then draped lightly over her shoulders, which was something that caused a sneaky smile to cross features and entire body to shift closer and head to rest on his shoulder comfortably. From the moment that his arm came in contact with her shoulders she lost interest with the movie and her mind turned back to the earlier kiss. It had been out of the blue and yet it seemed as though he had reacted strangely, as if he thought that she would have taken it in the wrong way, surely by now he was able to see that she liked him as more than a friend. Though when she actually thought of it she might have thought the same because she had not given him many more signals then the kiss on the cheek from the night before and that could have been a friendly gesture. She felt slightly bad that she had not been clear though before tonight she had not really given too much thought into what might be budding relationship wise since she had thought that he would not have liked her as more then just a friend. Before she knew it the credits were rolling across the screen and the movie was over, she stood to flick the tv off before turning the lights back on and blinking a couple times while her eyes adjusted the the abundance of light. He then stood and announced that he should get going for the night, she was about to tell him that she did not want him to leave and that he should stay a little longer when she realized that he might be telling her that he needed to leave because he needed to be up early in the morning or for other reasons so she did not add the last little bit in. She was about to walk him to the door and say her good nights when he grabbed her hand, she paused hazel optics meeting his for a moment and searching for what might be the root cause of this action and his intentions. Her hand was brought to his lips in a tender gesture and he asked her if she would be his girlfriend and a sense of ease washed over her. Of course she would agree since the time she had spent with him in the last couple days had been the most fun she had had in a long time though she had never dreamt that someone like him would ask her. I would love to be. She told him with a small smile. For once she did not joke around with him since feelings were nothing to joke about and she wanted to make sure that he knew the truth about how she felt about him, she then took a step closer, wrapping her arms around his neck a deep inhale was drawn in before a relaxed sigh was allowed to pass through lips.

The man's intentions were considered to be old-fashioned, but that had just been the manner in which he had always been raised. He was one of what appeared to be few men who actually had uttermost respect for everyone around them, whereas the amount of women seemed to be a bit higher. He glanced silently out the window as she prepared the hot chocolate, the thought of winter seeming appealing at this point. He enjoyed it for the most part, despite the fact that he couldn't stand water, but it was all just because of personal experience. People did not drown in snow, but they did get buried in avalanches and such occurrences, but that was not something he wanted to think about. Plus the snow season in the area was generally very light besides the mountains a few hours away, so he did not mind having it around. The DVD title he picked was more of a comedy, trying to keep the mood light and at ease. The soft shuffling noise of her adjusting on the couch was heard before she had scooted closer, causing a small grin to pull at his features. Not long after her head resided upon his shoulder, he felt his arm go numb but resisted the urge to move it around until the feeling returned. He found his focus not entirely on the movie, rather more on the girl besides him. Gaze kept wandering from the screen to discretely watch her before acting once more as though he was paying attention to the film, though a few chuckles rumbled from him at various times throughout the movie. Eyes adapted rather quickly to the lighting as she turned on the lights and off the tv. He noticed the look that was mirrored on her face for merely a moment, seeming as though she was going to be against his leaving so soon. He did not wish to, yet he knew it was better that he leave her be to get to his own house. As he had grabbed her wrist, he noticed the peculiar look that flashed before her eyes as she was trying to register what in the world he was doing. Soft smile captured his expression before and after asking her the question. Slowly,he let go of the gentle hold on her wrist. He was very relieved as she stated that she would love to be his girlfriend. It made things much easier and clearer for him, not questioning on where this whole thing was going. As she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his neck, mahogany pools met hers with a soft intensity, resting his forehead against hers slightly. And that makes things all the better. He said quietly. Things could be much clearer for him now, for both of them really. He let his hands rest on her sides carefully, moving them away if she wished. After a few moments, his hands gently held her face as he leaned in to press his lips against hers. As much as I do not want to, I have to go now. He murmured, stepping away and letting his hands fall reluctantly. He was rather hesitant to leave her so soon, but he did have to get up quite early. Good night, beautiful.I hope I will see you tomorrow? Words were uttered, kissing her on the cheek once again before grabbing his things and stepping out the door, looking over his shoulder with a charming smile for her. He was not at all thrilled with himself for having to leave her like that, and silently vowed to himself that he would try and make it up to her. The restaurant was a pain at times seeing as it required his own time a lot of the time, so he was seeking someone he could trust to do a partnership with. He had a few people in mind, just needed to set further to it. He did not want it to come between having a proper relationship with the girl, because he really did like her already. The radio in his car was merely background noise as the male returned home. The night's events reoccuring within his mind constantly, but it was not something that bothered him.Upon returning home, the man took a cold shower and changed into a pair of flannel pajama bottoms. As he laid on the bed, he could not fall asleep for some odd reason. The animal that was part of his soul was restless, and if he waited it would only get worse. With a deep sigh, he jogged down stairs and exited through the sliding glass door. Once he was hidden in the bushes, the pants were placed on the ground and spine shifted before the entire formation followed. He was especially not fond of this idea any more, but he figured his odds were probably good now that the suspicions had calmed down through some fake story. And it being late, most people would be in their homes and could not see well. Large form sulked through the night, heightened senses like radars at the quietest noise or slightest trace of a scent. The hunter had become the hunted, and was still on edge despite his doubts on them still being after him. The cat was soon appeased, so a quick sprint stretched long limbs before shifting back to human form once more, and slipping into the clothes. After staring up at the ceiling for awhile, the man was able to drift off into a light sleep. When his alarm went off, it felt as though he had only been asleep for a matter of minutes. He got ready rather quickly, dressing a bit more casual seeing as today was not a meeting, but doing paperwork at the restaurant. A few more inches of snow were noticed as strides were taken out the door and to the car, exhales were seen in the air and the sun had not quite yet risen. The daylight hours of winter were not his favorite but he learned to adjust to them as most did, they were only apparant for a short amount of time. Car pulled into the parking lot, the first one there this early which was not uncommon. After a few hours of going over paperwork details and discussing with a few employees as they stopped in the back room, he was basically done. A glance to the clock informed him that it was not too early still and so he stepped out back and pulled the phone from his pocket. A certain number was dialed, wondering whether or not she would still be caught at work, which was a possibility. He did not want to bother her then though. Hands were stuffed into the pockets of the light jacket as he slowly paced mindlessly, waiting for either an answer or the voicemail.

She had been shocked at what he had asked not expected it though it had been a good suprise since it would clear the air in a lot of aspects. She understood what he felt for her and that it was more then a friend. He rested his hands on her side and she shifted slightly closer before pulling back as he stated that he needed to go for the evening and she dipped her head acknowledging that he had been heard. Alright. She walked with him in the direction of the front door. As he called her beautiful goose bumps rose on her skin and a shiver ran along her spine it had been a long while since someone had told her something like that. He then asked if he would be able to see her tomorrow. She paused for a moment thinking of something that was coming up and almost panicked. She had nearly forgotten that tomorrow was the day that she was sheduled to leave for a field mission. Yes, you can see me tomorrow but I totally forgot that I leave in the evening for a two day diving mission. She had been having such a good time spending all her free time with the man that she had not seen the date on the clearly marked calendar creep up. It had been something that she had been looking forward to since the summer though now it almost seemed as though she did not want to go since she would be leaving him behind for a full two days. She had to force herself tor remember that it was only two days and she would be back. She stepped closer to the door in order to say good bye to him. If you want you can drive me to the heli pad tomorrow. She told him not too sure if he would be interested but that would be the last part of the day that she would get to see him. When they had said their good byes she almost panicked a little, she had not thought this trip out at all and she hated to be suprised by something and she scolded herself for having forgotten about something that was deemed to be so important. Why had she not written it somewhere that she would have had to look at it everyday to ensure that it would not pass her by. Her job was more of a passion therefore taking more time then a normal 9-5 career. So tonight she would have to search through her equipment and pull it from the storage area in which she had kept it for the past couple months and see if there was anything that she needed to replace before tomorrow. She lucked out knowing that she would not have to work at the aquarium or the zoo tomorrow since she had a day off between the switch between the two of them and she had booked the time for the trip off a long time in advance. Again it seemed as though luck was in her favour, she knew that the trip organizers would provide the large oxygen tanks for them but she wound up only needing a couple basic pieces of equipment as spares in case the ones that she had were worn out or over used or ended up getting broken all of which would be able to be purchased tomorrow. She packed the diving equipment into its travel case and placed it by the front door, she would finish her packing tomorrow, clothes were less important. She climbed beneath her sheets and drifted off easily into sleep knowing that there was a lot to look forward to in life. Now her life did not revolve around one single thing, there was more to it. The next morning she awoke to her alarm even though she did not need to get up even nearly that early since she was not working. She stepped into the shower and allowed the hot water to wake her up and dried herself off with a towel before then turning a kettle on to boil tea and getting dressed for the day. A dark washed pair of jeans and a t-shirt followed by a hoody and a waterproof jacket over top. She then headed out the door with a steaming mug of tea which she placed in the cupholder of the car and backed out of the driveway and into the main road turning off a sidestreet since the scuba shop was not near the main road. It was an hour away on the freeway so she merged onto the large road and set the radio on high for the drive. She got there by the time the store was open and picked up the few supplies she needed before then returning to the town to finish her last minute errands. She then returned home to pack her clothes and set the bags by the door and realize that she had almost finished everything that she needed to do. When her phone rang she took a moment to watch the name flash over the caller id a small smile settling on features. Hey. She spoke into the phone.
